Modern Family Kills Off "Major Character" and Fans Are Outraged

Fair warning: this post contains a Modern Family spoiler.

Whether or not it"s a major spoiler is a matter of some debate.

Modern Family"s co-creator promised that, in Season 10, a character of significance would die.

On Wednesday night"s episode, that happened … sort of.

See (and here"s the spoiler), the "major character death" was DeDe, Jack"s ex-wife, the mother of both Mitchell and Claire.

DeDe is not a main character — she"s just related to a bunch of them.

She did not appear in even a guest role in Season 3, Season 5, or Season 6.

Modern Family fans took to Twitter to express their outrage over all of that hype having been built up for nothing.

Amy Duggar Shades Family Members for Having Kids Too Soon

The last time we wrote about Amy Duggar, we said that her famous family members had just recently allowed her back into their lives.

Such a re-entrance may have been short-lived, however.

Why do we say this?

Because Amy has come out with some serious fire for her supposed loved ones!

Often considered the black sheep of her strict and conservative family, Amy once posed nude on Twitter.

Even worse in the eyes of her cousins, aunts and uncles, Amy has been married for three years — and she has no kids!

Zero. Zilch. None at all.

While this may seem impossible to believe for anyone with the last name Duggar, Amy tells Radar Online that she has a simple explanation for why she and husband Dillon have decided to wait.

“I didn’t want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be,” Duggar says simply.

At least it sounds simple to us.

Plenty of husbands and wives want to travel a bit or just enjoy each other’s company for awhile before their world gets taken over by children.

It’s a reasonable position for anyone to take. Anyone not named Duggar, that is.

As regular Hollywood Gossip readers surely know well, Jinger Duggar, Joy-Anna Duggar and Kendra Duggar ALL gave birth to their first child in 2018.

They each got pregnant basically as soon as they tied the knot and were permitted, per family rules, to engage in intercourse with their significant others.

Duggar females basically exist simply to get married and then to procreate as often as possible.

But Amy is focused on her new clothing boutique at the moment and isn’t desperate to become a mother.

It will almost definitely happen at some point; she just doesn’t understand the immediacy.

“Babies are on our brain for sure,” Amy says of her and her husband.

But she wants to make sure her professional life is in order first and that she is as ready as one can be to take the journey to motherhood before actually doing so.

What a crazy concept, right?!?

“I want to be settled. I think it’s boutique, and then a baby,” said the former reality star, explaining how she wants to successfully launch her business before dedicating herself to a tiny human being.

She also wants to make sure her relationship can handle it.

Having a baby is a really big deal!

It can destroy a marriage if two people are not on the same page.

“I want to have this really great foundation with my husband so that when my baby turns 18 years old, I’m not learning how to love my husband all over again,” says Amy.

We hate to break it to you, Amy, but such logic likely just got you kicked out of the family again.

Hard to believe it"s been three months since Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child.

Jenelle Evans: Family and Friends Beg Teen Mom 2 Star to Leave David Eason

On Saturday, Jenelle Evans was hospitalized after being assaulted by her husband, David Eason.

We know this thanks to Jenelle"s 911 call, which shocked Teen Mom 2 fans when it was released this afternoon.

In the recording, Jenelle can be heard sobbing as she alleges that a drunken Eason pinned her to the floor so hard that she thought she had broken her collarbone.

Now, family and friends are reportedly pleading with Jenelle to divorce David as soon as possible.

Here"s what we know so far:

1. Hated For a Reason

David has long been despised by Teen Mom 2 viewers due to his bigoted views and the verbal abuse he heaps upon his children and stepchildren.

2. The Rumors Are True

Reports about Eason physically abusing Jenelle have been circulating for years, and now, we have solid evidence that David is indeed the monster that fans of the show have always believed him to be.

According to Jenelle, David assaulted her while drunk, knocking her to the floor and pinning her down so hard she heard her collarbone “crack.”

Kenya Moore Lashes Out After Being Ghosted by Friends and Family!

Even though Kenya Moore is out of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she’s still living her life. Plus, she has a baby on the way.

But apparently people weren’t RSVPing or reserving gifts for her baby shower, which caused Kenya to go into an epic rant.

She feels like she’s being ghosted by her entire social circle, and she might just cancel the party.

Over the weekend, former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore vented her fury with a not-so-vague post on Instagram.

“#Etiquette101,” Kenya began her diatribe.

“If you cannot attend a monumental life changing event,” she instructed her followers. “It’s nice to send a gift anyway,”

Kenya then asked: “Or it’s about class?”

She did, at least, make it clear that her outrage isn’t over a lack of gifts being purchased — it’s the principle of the matter.

“It’s not about a dollar amount,” she clarified. “It’s to show you care.”

Kenya continued: “The same way the person cared to invite you to share a moment in their life.”

“RSVP literally means RESPOND PLEASE in French,” she educated her fans.

“So if you get an invitation,” she cautions. “Respond with a yes or no if you will be attending.”

it seems very clear that she sending a wildly unsubtle message to her friends and family.

According to Kenya Moore’s BuyBuyBaby registry, discovered by RadarOnline, Kenya had reason to be upset.

She had 73 items on her gift registry.

Of them, at the time that she made that post, not even 5 of them had been selected. That number is reportedly up to 7 as of Wednesday.

Some of Kenya’s suggested gifts were pricey.

She listed a UPPAbaby VISTA 2018 Stroller for $ 929.99 and a Doona Infant Car Seat/Stroller for $ 499.99.

But Kenya didn’t expect thousand-dollar gifts from everyone. She also listed $ 7.99 bib sets and a simple blanket for $ 29.99.

RadarOnline reports that Kenya feels totally snubbed over her baby shower.

“Kenya is devastated none of her real friends are showing up for her and buying gifts off her registry,” the insider explains.

The source goes on to say that Kenya feels “embarrassed,” and “heartbroken” over this slight.

“And,” the insider adds, Kenya is also “mad.”

It’s not like one person forgot to RSVP. She feels like she’s being ghosted by her entire social circle.

“This is a big deal to her,” the source explains.

Of course! She’s waited all her life to find the right man and to have this baby.

“And,” the insider continues. “She feels like those close to her have let her down.”

She feels like they just don’t care about this major milestone in her life.

“She’s beyond furious,” the source dishes.

And it’s possible that, if she feels that no one is coming, she might just cancel.

Kenya’s husband, Marc Daly, has reportedly offered to purchase the entire list of gifts — all 73 items, as an appeasement.

He hopes to “calm” her, the insider explains.

The source adds that if it will “make her happy,” he’d be happy to do it.

Plus, he wants to head off any fighting over this “and keep the shower as planned.”

“Kenya thinks that’s sweet,” the insider admits. 

If you sense a but coming, you’re absolutely right.

“But,” the source continues. “She wants an authentic shower.”

If she just wanted a bunch of stuff, she could have gone online and ordered it her own rich self.

Kenya, the insider says, wants a real shower, the kind that comes “with everyone she knows coming to bow down.”

She wants to feel like they’re there to honor her “and tell her how beautiful she looks.”

After her rant about good manners, perhaps she will get her wish.

But she may always feel haunted by the thought that they only came and bought gifts because she shamed them into it.

Molly Roloff Actually Visits Family Farm, Makes Amy One Happy Mama

Molly Roloff may not be a cast member on Little People, Big World.

But that doesn’t mean she isn’t a very welcome member of her own family.

Unlike her brother, Jacob, who quit the aforementioned TLC series last summer in a major huff, Molly has never made any grand statements about the show being fake or phony or silly in any way.

Nope.

She’s simply chosen to live a more private life, one that has taken her away from her family farm and one that includes a very normal and content existence with husband Joel.

Like we said before, however, Molly is on great terms with her parents despite having removed herself from their everyday lives and their most profitable source of income.

And that relationship was on full display this past weekend.

In honor of the beginning of pumpkin season at Roloff Farms, Molly and Joel drove on down and supported their loved ones.

They posed for a photo with the entire family, and they also posed for a photo with just Amy, as you can see above.

“I was so so excited that Molly and Joel were able to drive down for opening weekend of pumpkin season at Roloff Farms Pumpkin Patch,” Amy wrote as a caption to the two images above.

She added:

“It was wonderful to see them. This mom was happy.”

And below is the snapshot that has been making the Internet rounds, with nearly every single Roloff in the same place for a fun change:

As far as Molly goes, she recently hung with her dad as well and does try to come back to the farm when she can.

But she headed off college at Whitworth University and then met her now-husband shortly thereafter, Joel Silvius.

Together, the couple chose to stay in the area and they’re now permanently based in Spokane, Washington, which is about a six-hour drive from where Matt and Amy reside.

(Yes, Matt and Amy are divorced, but they still live on the same large piece of property. It’s a whole thing.)

It’s not a short haul for Joel and Molly to visit the farm, but pumpkin season is THE huge event for this family.

At least professionally speaking.

“The first weekend of pumpkin season has officially come and the whole family came out!” the Roloffs shared on the farm’s official Instagram page.

“Thank you to everyone who has come out despite the rainy Oregon weather!”

Kylie Jenner: I Don"t Need Family Anymore! I"m a Billionaire!

New mom Kylie Jenner has been stunning the world with her post-baby bikini body, but she’s more focused on her baby and her business these days.

In fact, she may be a little too busy to slum it with her siblings on the reality show that catapulted them all to stardom.

A new report says that Kylie wants to drop Keeping Up With The Kardashians because she’s a billionaire.

RadarOnline reports that Kylie may quit KUWTK. (Try saying that five times rapidly)

“Kris is desperate to keep Kylie on the show,” the insider warns.

The show is built on the power of their entire family. Unlike, say, Rob, viewers would miss seeing Kylie.

“And,” the source says, Kris “thinks that she is essential to renegotiating” how much they are paid and how much control the family maintains over production and editing.

That is, after all, something that Momager Kris will need to do “after the contracts end.”

But Kylie’s status as the world’s most powerful influencer may not be the leverage that Kris is seeking.

“But,” the insider notes. “She has a billion dollars already.”

Or close enough. Kylie Cosmetics is worth enough to make your eyes bleed, and the value keeps going up every year.

“She doesn’t need the show at all anymore,” the source reveals.

That could spell trouble for the family’s signature series.

Kylie hasn’t needed the show for a while. But now, she just has other priorities.

“Kylie wants to focus on her baby and her cosmetics line instead,” the insider explains.

Reality stardom has reportedly been getting old. Probably because she’s been at it for half of her life.

“She hasn’t been into the show in a while,” the source reports.

“And,” the insider continues. “It just has been really difficult for her to fit it into her already super busy schedule.”

If this report is true, it is understandable that Kylie feels this way.

Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kris all signed up for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. They were grown adults. They had a choice.

Kylie was just a kid. This life path has been massively rewarding, but it’s not something that she chose for herself.

Kylie Cosmetics, however, is her baby. Stormi, in a much more literal sense, is also her baby.

It would make a lot of sense for her to focus on the things that she really wants in life instead of upon the things that were thrust upon her.

Especially if she doesn’t need that reality show paycheck to pay the bills.

But let’s look at this from another angle — and consider whether this report is true.

First of all, Kylie may feel some sense of familial obligation to help keep the show going. She’s certainly helped out her family before.

(Well, she helped out Rob before — he’s arguably the only adult in the family who really needs help with anything)

Second of all, we should remember that all of the Kardashian projects are inextricably tied to their respective brands.

That means that their bodies, their social media presence, their products, and their reality television appearances do not exist within a vacuum.

Kylie may fear that abandoning her family’s show could eventually cause her company to lose value.

There’s another huge factor.

Back in July, we learned that Life of Kylie was renewed.

If Kylie is really too fatigued to continue being on a show on which she is part of an ensemble cast, is she really going to keep doing a show on which she is the star?

We’re not suggesting that anyone place bets one way or the other, but while Kylie may feel conflicted, we wouldn’t be surprised if she sticks with KUWTK.

At least, we don’t expect her to jump ship until the show goes even further downhill.

Roloffs Celebrate Special Occasion with Rare Family Photo

They star on the same reality show, but they are rarely all in the same place.

Indeed, while Little People, Big World may center on the beloved Roloff family, the many sons, daughters, parents and grandkids who comprise this popular unit are very busy.

They also don"t all get along so well. Or so we"ve heard, at least.

Moreover, Jacob quit the show awhile back… Molly wants no part of the show… and even Jeremy and Audrey walked away this summer.

For all these reasons and more, it"s rare to find all the Roloffs in one location.

But that"s exactly what transpired over the weekend, as relatives came from far and near for one special reason:

The start of pumpkin season!!!!

Bristol Palin: Teen Mom is ALREADY Destroying My Family!

Teen Mom OG has added Bristol Palin, and Bristol’s family dysfunctions are obvious.

But apparently what viewers are seeing on camera is only the tip of the Alaskan iceberg.

A new report says that Bristol’s family is clashing — and Bristol’s new TV role is at the center of their feud.

RadarOnline‘s inside source has revealed that Bristol Palin’s family is being torn apart by her new role on Teen Mom OG.

Some within her divided family think that it’s a “great opportunity.”

After all, this way, Bristol gets exposure and a hefty source of income — we know how sweet that Teen Mom money can be.

Not everyone is onboard with Bristol’s newly revived reality TV career, however.

And apparently the biggest critic of her casting is her new brother-in-law, Ricky Bailey.

Ricky married Bristol’s sister, Willow, just days ago in what was reportedly a sweet ceremony in Alaska.

Bristol ditched the ceremony.

Apparently her issue was over her brother, Track, being invited.

Track has a history of arrests for domestic violence. 

Not-so-fun fact: he ended up missing Willow’s wedding himself because he was arrested for domestic violence yet again.

But Bristol skipping the wedding is only one factor in her current family troubles.

“Ricky is so against having cameras around,” the insider reveals.

MTV’s cameras followed Bristol for Willow’s bachelorette weekend in Arizona, and it wasn’t exactly Willow’s dream come true.

“Willow didn’t approve of the cameras filming for her bachelorette weekend,” the source says.

“But,” the insider continues, she “ended up giving in to Bristol.”

“It was more of a favor,” the source characterizes.

That favor ended up costing Willow.

“All of the conversations during Willow’s bachelorette weekend ended up being all about Bristol,” the insider reports.

That is very natural when cameras are present.

It also just … sucks for Willow.

“It was so sad for Willow,” the source laments.

But there’s more to the Palin family’s concerns than intrusive cameras.

Apparently Track isn’t the only family member who loses it sometimes.

“Bristol’s siblings believe she is totally crazy and really volatile,” the insider says.

“Her family knows Bristol is trying to keep it together for the Teen Mom cameras,” the source acknowledges.

However, they allegedly fear that it is “only a matter of time” before Bristol totally loses her composure while the cameras are rolling.

In the mean time, Bristol has been posting about a fresh start now that it is finally October.

Bristol took to Instagram to write that it is a “new month.”

She said that this means that she has a “new slate.”

(She probably means fresh slate or clean slate, but let’s not get nitpicky)

Bristol may not see eye to eye with her family on everything. That’s normal.

But we’ve all seen relationships and families fall apart at the seams while they appear on reality television. Will the Palins be next?

Duggar Clan to Amy: Congrats! We"re Letting You Back In the Family!

If you’re a diehard Duggar fan, you may have noticed the absence of “rebellious” cousin Amy in recent months.

That’s no accident, as sources say Amy was essentially kicked out of the family back in June.

Her famous cousins were banned from visiting her, and certain family members, like Jinger Duggar, even went so far as to unfollow Amy on Instagram.

“Amy is not allowed to talk about the Duggars anymore,” one insider told Radar online at the time.

“Amy went through her Instagram and had to delete all the pictures she had with her cousins.”

Explanations as to why Amy was exiled vary, but most are in agreement that the ultra-conservative Jim Bob simply didn’t approve of Amy’s slightly more liberal lifestyle.

But it seems that at some point in the past three weeks, Amy was somehow able to get back in Jim Bob’s good graces.

First, Jinger re-followed her cousin on Instagram, and now, the Duggars have chosen to acknowledge Amy’s birthday on Facebook.

Yes, the above photo was posted on the Duggars’ official Facebook page earlier this week, and while it may seem like a minor development, it’s actually a subtle way of sharing some very big news.

Until recently, Amy was, by her own admission, “out of the family.”

She was persona non grata at all Duggar gatherings, and as Jim Bob and company aren’t exactly big on forgiveness, it was widely assumed that it would stay that way.

But now, not only Amy been forgiven, it also looks as though she’s being embraced by her family.

The youngest Duggar daughters recently formed a singing group — called, of course, The Duggar Girls — and it seems Amy has been recruited to assist with their dreams of stardom.

So maybe Michelle reluctantly asked for Amy’s assistance since she’s the only person the Duggars know who actually lives in the 21st century?

We suppose that’s possible — but Michelle doesn’t do anything without Jim Bob’s approval.

So even though he’s not in this pic, you can bet JB signed off on the decision.

And if there’s ever a man who’s not keen on changing his mind, it’s Jim Bob — so you can bet Amy worked very hard to get back on his good side.

Teen Mom OG Recap: Welcome to the Dysfunctional Family!

They are officially on board.

Teen Mom OG kicked off Season 8 on Monday, October 1 with an intense 90-minute episode that introduced a pair of new faces to the franchse:

1. Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.


2. Cheyenne Floyd, a former cast member on MTV"s The Challenge who has a daughter with another Season 8 addition, Cory Wharton.

What were this pair up to on the opening installment?

We learned just how complicated of a relationship Floyd and Wharton find themselves in, while we also got a pretty good idea of why Bristol and Dakota Meyer recent filed for divorce.

This was a message Bristol said she wanted to send, although it’s not clear why anyone would think that a 27-year woman with three kids by two men – with a famously polarizing mother – would be living a perfect life. Regardless, the premiere gave us a look look at the difficulties in her marriage.

2. Yup, It’s Sarah Palin

We’re just saying. The woman who came close to being the second most powerful person on Earth made a cameo early in the premiere.

3. Worlds Apart

While Bristol and Meyer live together in Austin, Bristol was off in Arizona with her mom celebrating her sister Piper’s bachelorette party to opem the premiere, while Dakota took the kids to see his parents in Kentucky. Palin told the camera that her husband’s PTSD has been “hard on our marriage.”

4. PTSD?

Yes. Meyer received the Medal of Honor after 2009’s Battle of Ganjgal, where he witnessed the deaths of his entire team. He’s been battling those demons and scars ever since.

5. What are Things Like for This Veteran?

Speaking with his dad and the show’s producers, Meyer talked about joining the Marines. “When I joined, it was 110% that you will be going to war soon,” he said on air. “Joining, I could have never knew what I was getting into. You can say, ‘Yeah, I’m ready to get shot at,’ but you’re talking at a 17 year old kid.”

6. More from Dakota:

“We got in a big gunfight and everybody with me is dead,” he continued. “When I first came home, train wreck is not even, that’s an understatement. Anxiety got me real bad.” Meyer added that his children are the “reason I get up every day,” saying they “add to the quality of life, they’re everything.”
