Mayweather-Pacquiao By the Numbers: Win or Lose, EVERYBODY'S Getting Rich!

Tonight, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will finally square off in the ring and answer some burning questions that have been plaguing the boxing world for years:

Who's the greatest welterweight on Earth? Can two fighters in their late 30s live up to the hype surrounding this match? Will Mayweather really bail out Suge Knight if he wins? And most importantly, will Justin Bieber invite Selena Gomez to the fight?

Needless to say, there's a lot at stake.

And in addition to the fight serving as both a testing ground for Jelena (seriously) and a weird trial-by-combat for Suge, there's the small matter of the hundreds of millions of dollars that will change hands during what's being called the richest night in sports history:

"Everyone talks about the money, the money, the money," Mayweather said in a recent press conference. "I want the fight to live up to its magnitude. That's what it's really about."

Ironic words coming from a man who's been the sports world's highest earner for the past three years and has appropriately rocked the nickname "Money" for even longer.

FYI, Floyd, the reason everyone is so preoccupied with the cash is because there's a mind-boggling amount of it wrapped up in tonight's bout.

Never mind the over $ 100 million that Mayweather and Pacquiao each stand to earn just for stepping into the ring; the real cash will go to the venue, promoters, casinos and cable companies who helped bring this match-up into existence. (This is Vegas, after all, where the house always wins.)

Check out the slideshow above for an idea of just how much will be at stake when the bell rings tonight.

No matter who emerges victorious, of course, both men deserve a world of credit: Pacquiao for escaping unimaginable poverty to earn a nine-figure payday, and Mayweather for once again giving new meaning to his well-deserved nickname.

Kristen Taekman: Banned Filming of Marital Problems On Real Housewives Of New York City

Last season, viewers had to bear witness to Kristen Taekman’s marriage on The Real Housewives of New York City.  In disgust, they watched her patriarch husband, John, ignore his wife and children and often belittle Kristen.

On the season premiere, Kristen said her marriage is improving--even though John wouldn't run the bath for their kid.

Radar Online has reported that the couple decided to ban cameras from filming their fights this season.

A source said, “Before Kristen signed up for another season, she had long discussions with John because he was unhappy with how he was portrayed on the show. He didn’t want the show to negatively impact his business.”

There was a lot of added strain in the marriage after the season aired, so Kristen agreed to not allow cameras as much access to them as a couple,” the source added.

Their request for privacy is admirable and probably necessary.  But it also begs the question, what is John hiding?

The simplest way to not be portrayed as an a**hole is to not act like an a**hole.

If they are requesting for less camera time to hide their fights, then it is hard to believe that John’s behavior has changed much.  So far this season, there as been very little screen time for Kristen.  Maybe she is off camera fighting???

Realistically, someone on the RHONYC is fighting somewhere at any given time.

Bethenny Frankel and Heather Thompson got into when Bethenny failed to invite Kristen to her 44th birthday party.

Heather said, “I spoke to Kristen Taekman the other day, and her feelings were hurt that you didn’t invite her to your birthday.”

“Oh my God — are you really bringing this up? I just fell asleep. Wake me up when this is over,” Bethenny shot back.

This petty fight (and the hundred others to come) are fine with Kristen.

The source explained, “Kristen is more than happy to give Bethenny additional camera time if it means not focusing on her personal life. John and Kristen have been working very hard on their marriage off-camera, and are in a much better place now.”
