Halloween is a time for three things:
- For kids to dress in some kind of adorable outfit.
- For women to turn the most benign of costumes into the skankiest of costumes.
- For celebrities to cross certain lines with their controversial costume ideas.
With the third point in mind, we present 14 especially scandalous celebrity Halloween costumes over recent years:
1. Tomi Lahren as…The Flag?

Khloe Kardashian to Tristan Thompson: We"re Staying Together Whether You Like It or Not!
We’ve reached the point where not a day goes by without a new rumor about Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s relationship status.
Earlier this week, “insiders” claimed Khloe was finally ready to dump Tristan.
Yesterday, sources insisted Khloe is moving to Cleveland to try and make the relationship work.
Now, it seems that — as is so often the case with this sort of thing — the truth is really somewhere in the middle.
According to a new report from Radar Online, Khloe very much wants to make things work with Tristan.
But that’s got more to do with her desire for a traditional family situation than with her love for Tristan.
And it sounds as though Khloe is well aware that her experiment might fail in spectacular fashion.
“On one hand, she knows that Tristan is a cheater and that he will probably always be a cheater,” a source tells the site.
“She has a hard time believing that he will ever really be faithful to her,” the insider adds.
“On the other hand, Khloe wants nothing more than to have this perfect little family.”
Fortunately, Khloe is going into this situation with both eyes wide open.
And those closest to the mother of one are highly skeptical and fully prepared for the worst.
“Everyone knows it’s inevitable she will end it eventually,” says the source.
A different insider who spoke with Entertainment Tonight was slightly more optimistic but still extremely wary:
“Khloe and Tristan are still working on things,” says the second informant.
“Whatever they decide to do moving forward, it will be whatever is best for their daughter, True.”
Ths source adds that Khloe has not relocated to Cleveland permanently and is planning to return to Los Angeles for Kris Jenner’s birthday celebration next week.
Will Khloe hunker down with True in Calabasas, forcing Tristan to jet off to SoCal every time he wants to see his daughter?
Only time will tell, but our money is on yes.
Not only does Khloe seem justifiably skeptical about her future with Tristan, we just can’t imagine the girl riding out another Cleveland winter.

Jinger Duggar Shows Off Adorable Mother-Daughter Twinning Photo
Jinger Duggar has been treating Counting On fans to photos of her adorable little family.
Now, she and husband Jeremy Vuolo are sharing a new photo.
In it, she’s twinning with her 3-month old baby, Felicity.
“Like mother, like daughter,” Jinger captioned the photo that you’re about to see.
In it, the 24-year-old Duggar daughter is wearing a floral headband.
Baby Felicity is wearing a matching headband — it’s just a smaller version for her tiny baby head.
While they’re not otherwise in matching outfits, we think that it still counts as twinning.
(Seriously, finding a baby outfit that matches adult clothing can be tricky)
Besides, the picture is just too cute.

This is the time of year for dressing up in a lot more than headbands, but the Duggar family does not celebrate Halloween.
Michelle Duggar expressed her strong views in a blog post in 2011.
“While we do go to pumpkin patches and corn mazes,” Michelle wrote. “We don’t do the Halloween thing.”
You miss out on a lot of fun and a lot of culture when you grow up in the Duggar household.
“From the beginning of our marriage we just kind of felt like we didn’t want to celebrate that holiday,” she shared.
“But,” Michelle admitted. “We enjoy the harvest celebration.”
“Our church fellowship has had different celebrations through the years that we’ve been a part of,” Michelle continued.
Michelle wrote that these celebrations were “ones where the children can play games and receive candy and toys and do all kinds of fun things, like a cake walk.”
Really, of course, the family’s reluctance to participate in Halloween stems from a desire to isolate the children from any cultural experiences that they consider unbiblical.
In Growing Up Duggar by Jill, Jinger, Jessa, and Jana mention how seriously Jim Bob and Michelle take the supernatural.
“One specific thing that our parents have always been careful about is magic,” the book says. “Which often shows up in children’s movies.”
“As harmless as it may seem, it’s not a joke in God’s eyes,” the girls say.
“Magic, sorcery, witches, spell-casting and the like are all part of the demonic realm that God wants us to stay away from,” the book continues.
“No matter how ‘good’ a film containing magic may seem,” the girls warn. “God speaks seriously throughout the Bible.”
The girls write that “it is not something to be glorified or portrayed by any means as something fun or attractive.”
So we don’t think that Felicity will be going trick-or-treating when she gets older.
Halloween, first of all, tends to glorify a lot of those things — you know, people dress as witches and ghosts.
Also, the holiday itself is based upon an ancient religious festival of the Celtics, that involved honoring the dead while celebrating the year’s final harvest.
While most see Halloween as fairly distinct from Samhain, which some still practice today, to the Duggars, it’s a spiritual threat.
That said, Jeremy Vuolo has shown that he’s less strict than Jim Bob and Michelle.
Just as Austin Forsyth viewed and reviewed the Marvel film, Thor, Jeremy has demonstrated that he doesn’t share their views.
He believes that women can wear pants.
Might he one day allow his daughter to dress up as Batgirl or as a princess?
Maybe we’ll find out.
For now, she’s a literal baby and is perfectly happy wearing a headband that matches her mother’s.

Beverly McClellan Dies; The Voice Finalist Was 49
Beverly McClellan, a beloved contestant on The Voice who advanced to the final four back on Season 1, died on Tuesday after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was 49 years old.
The artist was on Team Christina Aguilera back during her run on the NBC singing competition and her death was confirmed by her publicist via the following statement:
“It is with great sadness I have to share the news that we lost Beverly today.
“She was a wonderful, funny, complicated, and incredibly talented young woman who touched millions with her voice and her huge heart. I am honored to have been her manager and her friend.
“Please keep her spirit alive by sharing her music and all the wonderful memories you have of her.”
McClellan, who became a fan favorite after belting out “Piece of My Heart” for her blind audition, was surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing
McClellan had been battling stage 4 endometrial cancer for approximately a year.
She had recently been sent to a California hospital to receive treatment after her health took a turn for the worse.
The singer’s family had been running a GoFundMe page titled “Beverly Mitchell Will Beat Cancer” and the latest update was posted on October 22.
It reads as follows:
Hi everyone please continue to share. We received the bill today for incidentals and we owe $ 10,099.00 as of today.
As you all may have already heard Beverly broke her femur while at CHIPSA, only 3 days into her treatments. And the Benefit, did not raise enough to cover it all.
Please share and share again! Bev needs your help in covering the hospital bills. As you all have seen this is working and she is making major strides.
We appreciate any and all donations. Peace, Love and Light!
Nakia, another semifinalist on season 1 of The Voice, Tweeted his thoughts on McClellan upon learning this sad piece of news.
“I am absolutely heartbroken. My dear friend & fellow S1 @NBCTheVoice alum, @beverlyshane has died.” he wrote, adding:
“Truly a unique soul with a beautiful heart, full of passion & an amazing talent. This was us singing @xtina’s Beautiful on tour.”
Prior to her death, the aforementioned GoFundMe page had raised $ 31,850 to assist with Beverly’s medical bills.
“She depends on her talents for income, and needless to say, she cannot sing or play at gigs during these trying times,” wrote a previous entry on this page, concluding:
“Her summer and fall tours have been canceled and hopefully rescheduled for next year.
“Beverly has a beautiful heart and beautiful music; on many, many occasions has donated her performances for the benefit and fundraising of others in need – recently for #marchforourlives.”
May Beverly McClellan rest in peace.

Tristan Thompson is STRESSED About Viewers Seeing His Cheating Scandal
Sunday night’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians featured Khloe’s baby shower for True.
But we all know what’s coming next weekend — Khloe and her whole family learning about Tristan’s cheating scandal.
Fans are excited, Khloe is stressed, and Tristan is worried he’s going to look like the bad guy.
Viewers of Keeping Up With The Kardashians are about to see Khloe’s whole family react to Tristan’s cheating.
HollywoodLife reports that Tristan is on edge knowing that the world will watch this story play out.
“Tristan is freaking out about the next episode of KUWTK airing,” an insider reveals.
While Khloe, like her sisters, has veto power over aspects of the show, there’s only so much that she can edit out.
The source reports: “It does not make him look good at all.”
It’s difficult to gloss over a guy cheating on his pregnant girlfriend with multiple women.
Fortunately, Tristan at least doesn’t seem to be thinking that he didn’t do anything wrong.
“He knows he made some mistakes,” the insider affirms.
There were some troubling reports this summer that claimed that Tristan didn’t think it was a big deal.
(There are some men in the world who think that being a cheater is a phase that men grow out of; ugh)
“But,” the source continues, Tristan “is not looking forward to the show blasting his problems out for the whole world to see.”
Well, that’s what happens when you date, impregnant, and cheat on a reality star.
The promo already showed Kendall, Kim, Kris, and Kylie reacting to the news on their phones.
“Tristan is doing his best to be a better father,” the insider says.
He has two young children — True wtih Khloe, and a son named Prince from a previous relationship.
The source says that Tristan is also working to be a better “boyfriend to Khloe and a better teammate to his Cavs.”
“And,” the insider explains. “He does not think this episode is going to make his life easier for any of that.”
KUWTK doesn’t even exist to make the Kardashians look good, let alone their cheating boyfriends.
Tristan is concerned that, no matter how many people read about the scandal, seeing it will be something else.
He worries that there could be serious social fallout.
“He knows he is not going to be very popular anywhere after this episode airs,” the source reports.
Khloe can be problematic, but nobody realistically wanted to see her life ruined.
“So,” the insider says. “He is stressed out.”
Tristan may be biting his nails with anxiety.
Khloe, at least, seems to have accepted that the world is going to see her get humiliated.
“I signed up to show the good and the bad, right?” she recently wrote to a fan on Twitter.
“The bad is very hard to relive,” Khloe affirmed. “But it’s life.”
She’s right.
Unlike Tristan, however, she has had nearly a dozen years to get used to the idea that most of her dirty laundry is going to air on television.
A lot of fans are concerned that Tristan will cheat again as soon as Khloe lowers her guard.
If he was willing to cheat on her with so many women while she was pregnant, fans reason, what’s to stop him now?
He’s still a young, hot athlete.
And now he knows that Khloe won’t necessarily break up with him if he strays.
Hopefully, however, Tristan cares about his relationship with Khloe more than he does about the convenience of banging random beautiful women.
If not, we could be looking at another agonizing KUWTK in the future.

Megyn Kelly: I"ll Spill All the Tea on NBC, Unless...
Megyn Kelly is off the air.
But she is not yet out of the building.
Not yet, at least. Not officially, that is.
The embattled reported is no longer appearing on NBC, as we’re sure most of our readers know quite well by now.
She has been relieved of her duties as host of Megyn Kelly Today after anchoring a segment about controversial Halloween costumes…
… which somehow devolved into Kelly wondering why blackface is considered racist.
Despite a written apology and an on-air apology the day after this segment aired, Kelly was essentially fired by NBC not long after her initial comments went public and severe backlash quickly followed.
However, while Kelly has no job to attend to this morning, she is still technically a network employee.
The star and her legal team continue to negotiate a buyout, with many sources indicating that Kelly will be paid about $ 38 million to walk away. This is the approximate amount remaining on her contract.
Now, though, TMZ cites another obstacle on the path to the full dissolution of this partnership.
Insiders tell the website that NBC wants Kelly to sign a confidentiality agreement.
This is standard operating procedure for this sort of situation — and executives are especially afraid of what Kelly might tell the world after she parts ways because she was unafraid to air NBC’s dirty laundry even while working for the company.
Remember: Kelly interviewed one of Matt Lauer’s alleged sexual assault victims last year.
She has also admitted that she knows about all of Lauer’s skeletons, which likely means she also has dirt of some higher-ups who may have covered up for these skeletons over the years.
It makes sense for NBC to try and make sure Kelly cannot spill such damaging tea to the world after she signs a new deal with Fox News or whomever.
Kelly’s lawyer, meanwhile, says his client is happy to sign this sort of nondisclosure agreement.
For an additional $ 10 million.
It’s also worth noting that Kelly wrote a book, “Settle for More,” in which she targeted Fox News Channel; and she has been very critical of that cable network since her departure in 2016.
It’s certainly not beneath her to attempt to damage NBC after she settles her employment with the organization.
The Today Show, for its part, is trying to move on.
On Monday, Al Roker, Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin greeted viewers during Kelly’s former timeslot, with Kotb opening the hour by saying:
Today, as you know, we are starting a new chapter in the third hour of our show as it evolves.
We want you to know that the entire TODAY family will continue to bring you informative and important stories, just as we always have.
That’s great and all.
But why do we have a feeling that the book on Megyn Kelly and NBC has not yet totally closed?
