Bey’s confessional “visual album” turned actual album turned wildly lucrative tour brought in huge bucks and introduced us all to Becky With the Good Hair.
In case you somehow missed it, Bey strongly hinted that Jay Z cheated on her throughout the album, and we imagine things were a little awkward around the Carter household in the days after its release.
In the week’s after Lemonade became an overnight sensation, fans often joked that Jay was probably cool with being publicly called out due to the amount of money his incredibly successful wife brings in.
There may be some truth to that, but the fact remains that Jay still does very, very well in his own right.
In fact, the hip hop legend earned almost as much as Bey this year, despite not touring or releasing an album.
According to Forbes magazine’s list of the year’s highest-ranking musicians, the Carters (once again the only husband-and-wife team to make the list) are worth something in the neighborhood of $ 1 billion.
One would assume that Bey would easily out-earn her husband given how dormant he’s been on the music scene, but Jay still rakes in royalties from 20 years worth of classic jams.
On top of that, this year saw him pulling in huge bucks from his investments in D’Usse cognac and Ace of Spades champagne.
In total, Jay earned about $ 53.5 million in 2016, just shy of Beyonce’s total income of $ 54 million.
Forbes made no mention of the losses Jay may have sustained from his involvement in the Tidal fiasco, but something tells us the Carters will be just fine.

Brielle went on a vacation this week with her boyfriend, minor league baseball player Michael Kopech.

She was kind enough to share not one but two bikini photos from her vacation.
Of course she got paid for them — in the first one she’s promoting one of those damn nutritional shakes, see, and in the second one it’s the sunglasses — but still, there’s something to be said for putting yourself out there, right?
She also shared a nice little photo of herself with that boyfriend of hers.
It’s worth noting that he’s got luscious blonde locks and a healthy amount of cleavage as well.
They look good together, right?
And it’s a good thing, because Kim Zolciak has said that Michael is “the one” for Brielle.
They met on social media, as one does in this day and age, and Brielle has explained that “He flew me out to him and we hung out and had a really good time.”
“We just connected.”
They get along, she said, because “We’re both calm and don’t really like to hang out with other people, or talk to other people.”
Unfortunately, young Michael has some jealous tendencies.
“Some boys comment really gross things on my photos and my boyfriend will get pissed and comment back, like ‘Get the f-ck out of here!"” she said.
“He gets frustrated with them more than I do.”
Brielle said that she actually kind of likes those really gross comments because “you’re all giving me compliments and I’m like, ‘Well thanks, here’s some positivity for once!"”

Taylor Swift Channel Coming to a TV Lineup Near You!
Taylor Swift is getting her own TV channel … and it’s gonna be all Swift all the time.

AT&T recently announced that Swift will have her own station called Taylor Swift Now, and will revolve around Swift’s concerts, interviews, and all that B-roll of being one of the most pursued celebs in the world today.
It was reported that the channel will be available through DirecTV’s new streaming service — if y’all recall, AT&T recently purchased DirecTV in a huge merger — and will be available alongside other channels like FX and AMC.
They removed classic Doctor Who from Hulu and Netflix, and they’re giving us this instead.
What a world. What a world.
As a result of the new channel — and Swift’s ever-surging popularity — it was revealed that Taylor would get her shot at this year’s Super Bowl … sort of.
Variety reported that Swift will perform at DirecTV’s pre-Super Bowl concert.
What a … joy. A treasure, really.
We’re wondering if there’s going to be any Taylor Swift twerking involved … because that’s as BTS as it gets, and was basically the pinnacle of Taylor Swift laugh-out-loud entertainment so far in 2016.
Unless you count the Tom Hiddleston/Calvin Harris drama — that was pretty funny, too.
Previously, Swift was accused of helping Drake get revenge on Rihanna, but we just don’t buy that.
Taylor might be one of the shrewdest, most calculating women in the biz, but we don’t think she’s outright evil, right?
It was reported that Swift and Drake teamed up as the ultimate “breakup couple,” and wanted to get their digs out at their exes.

Jessa Duggar Hints at Baby Name in Holiday Pics
We know that Jessa Duggar is pregnant with her second child, but beyond that. we don’t know a whole lot about what’s happening in her life these days.

Does the “S” mean that the Seewald spawn will all be named alliteratively?
Are the Seewalds guilty of stocking recycling?!
Allow Instagram commenter ali_sovljanksi, who’s basically the “Kevin Costner’s character in JFK” of this photo, to explain:
“Spurgeon got a new stocking and i think that’s the new baby’s stocking…but because it has a bow doesn’t mean it’s a girl because that was Spurgeon’s stocking last year.”
She added:
“The second stocking seems to have emerged from the grassy knoll at the exact moment the photo was taken. Also, Castro may have been involved. Back and to the left, back and to the left, back … and to the left.”
Okay, we may have made that last part up.
The most interesting takeaway from all of this is that there’s reason to believe th Seewalds will be going with another “S” name.
Sure, the letter on the stocking could stand for Seewald, but it was originally for Spurgeon, who was almost two months old last Christmas.
So in the first instance, the “S” was significant for two reasons.
Could the Seewalds be planning to follow in the footsteps of Jessa’s parents and name all their kids with the same initials?
We’ll find out eventually – most likely on the season premiere of their reality show.

Bryan Tanaka: ALL Over Mariah Carey in Hawaii!
Bryan Tanaka may be a backup dancer, but it’s pretty evident at this point:
He’s been feeling up the front of Mariah Carey for awhile now.

Very shortly after news of Carey’s split from James Packer went viral, numerous outlets reported that the singer had already moved on with Tanaka, who has toured alongside Carey for years.
There was even a rumor that Carey was pregnant with Tanaka’s love child
But we’re going to go ahead and assume that report is untrue.
It does seem, however, as if Mariah has shifted gears considerably when it comes to her love life.
She went from being engaged to an Australian billionaire to knocking boots with a 33-year old choreographer.
And let no one now be mistaken: boots are absolutely being knocked between Carey and Tanaka!
A witness tells Us Weekly that the two went on vacation to Maui last week and got to at least first base with while enjoying the climate and weather.
“They were all over each other, making out and not wanting to be more than a few feet apart,” according to this onlooker, who went on to detail:
“They swam in the ocean and he picked her up to kiss her. She was jumping into his arms, and he bent her back over his knee like they were dancing. Then they walked on the beach holding hands, and he gave her a piggyback ride.
“They had a lot of fun together, and were very playful. She was kicking up the water to splash him, and he was laughing.”
This sounds serious.
Seriously HAWT, that is!
Look to hear a lot more about Tanaka going forward, too.
Why? Because Mariah’s World premieres on E! this Sunday, December 4. It is a reality series that will take fans behind the scenes of Carey’s crazy world.
In at least one scene, the topic of Tanaka comes up, as other employees of Carey are caught on camera wondering:
What are we going to do with him?
Remember, most episodes of this reality show were filmed back when Carey was still engaged to Packer.
“She seemed very happy and comfortable with Bryan,” the aforementioned witness concluded to Us Weekly.
As previously reported, broke up with Packer after they got into a fight on a vacation.
No one is totally clear on what happened, but the split appears to be ugly and contentious.
“Mariah and James had a fight in Greece and have not seen each other since,” Carey’s rep told Entertainment Tonight in October. “The fight was not because of any cheating allegations or excessive spending by Mariah.”
Well, of course a rep for Carey would say that.
Whatever, though, right? James Packer is so in the past.

In a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Aniston revealed some deep feelings about husband Justin Theroux, and talked about her op-ed which slammed the media for claiming she was pregnant.
Aniston told the comedian-turned-talk show host, “My husband, who’s been away for almost a year surprised me on Thanksgiving, came home from Germany.”
She continued, and claimed that Theroux told her that his professional schedule was too busy to accommodate a family Thanksgiving, but wait — there’s more!
“Everyone came to the house and no one really understood that Justin was not going to be there,” she explained.
“You just saw everyone’s face start to fall. The whole room was depressed.”
“I was like, ‘Guys, I’m here!’ ” she laughed.
“Everyone was just very somber and next thing you know, turkey walks in, and there was another turkey holding that turkey and that was my hubby,” Jen revealed.
Pretty adorable, right?
People — ahem — might give Aniston a lot of flak, but she seems a whole hell of a lot more well-adjusted than former drug-addict Angelina Jolie … right?
Further, she revealed to DeGeneres that the epic Aniston Body-Shaming Rant was not intended to go viral.
(Oh, girl, you were doing so well up to that point — so well. It was absolutely meant to go viral.)
She revealed, “I [wrote] it at first, really, just for myself. I had kind of hit a wall.”
“I was pretty raw at the time — we had just come back from vacation,” Aniston explained.
“My mother, she passed; we as women do a lot of incredible things in this world other than just procreate. And not that that is not [incredible], but they just get boxed in.”
“[The tabloids] love the narrative, they love the story,” she continued.
“We have to stop listening to [tabloids], and we have to stop buying them. Because we have to support each other, especially at this time … it’s up to us, what makes us happy and fulfilled.”
Well, fat chance of that happening, girl, but yes, it is up to us to be happy and fulfilled.

Those poor, pitiful Sister Wives with their never-ending woe and their near-constant drama.
Don’t you just love them?
It’s not pretty, sure, and it’s definitely nothing to be proud of, but it’s an undeniable fact of life that the vast majority of people simply cannot look away from a trainwreck.
And it doesn’t get more trainwreck-y than this family.
OK, so Kody and Meri Brown have been having issues in their marriage for a long time, right?
Even in the very first season of Sister Wives, they fought.
They fought because Meri couldn’t help but get jealous that her husband had two other wives and was getting a third, or because Kody desperately wanted to have more children with Meri but she couldn’t get pregnant and wasn’t interested in getting any medical assistance with her fertility.
As the seasons went on, things only got worse between them.
They actually ended up getting divorced, but only because, as Kody’s first wife, Meri was the only one legally married to him.
She divorced him so that he could marry Robyn and adopt the three children she had from a previous marriage.
They remained spiritually married, but soon after the divorce, Meri began talking to that infamous catfish of hers.
And that’s what really did it in for their relationship.
It’s like the last nail in the coffin of their love, but it’s a big, long, rusty nail that’s being impossibly stubborn and just won’t get in there enough to just close the damn coffin.
On Sunday’s season 11 premiere, we got to see a whole lot of that sad, awkward tension between Kody and Meri.
Kody said to Meri, “You asked me to not be around you. You invited me away. You told me to go away.”
And then later, in an interview, Kody revealed that “Meri asked me to stop staying at the house.”
As you probably know, each of the four sister wives has their own house, and Kody sort of flits in and out of those houses on a schedule.
In the past, Meri’s had an issue with how much time Kody spends at the other wives houses — since the other wives have so many children with Kody and Meri is the only one in her house, things haven’t always been exactly equal.
But for Meri to just tell him not to stay with her, that’s pretty huge.
The director asked Kody to elaborate on his situation with Meri, but he refused.
All he would say was that “I’m working very hard not to be hopeless.”
Which is admirable or whatever, but we have a bad feeling that Kody’s relationship with marriage has as much hope as we have that Kody will mature into a decent, respectable human being.
(None. We have none hope.)
After the episode aired, Kody hopped on Twitter to explain his decision to keep the details about his Meri marriage to himself.
“We are public and choose to share our lives,” he explained. “However, some things should be kept private. Things saved for my mother or bff.”
Meri got on her own Twitter to talk about the argument she had with Kody, and how Kody refused to really talk to her without their therapist present.
“I actually think the convo was safe to begin with,” she said. “We can only respond to things the other says in the best & most honest way.”
Yeah, so the official split is going to happen in the season finale, right? Please?

Ben and Lauren: Will It Return for Season 2?
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have went through a lot of things this season of Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After.
They’ve literally been arguing every other week about the slightest things and it kind of makes us wonder about the longevity of any potential union between them.
After calling off the wedding a few weeks back, it seemed like the couple were poised for a breakup, but maybe some things happen for a reason.
As we discussed in our recap of the finale, the couple decided that their wedding was back on, but they just weren’t going to be rushing into it.
The pair caught up with E! to discuss what’s next for them and weighed in on whether the Freeform reality series would be renewed for a second season.
When quizzed about what was going on with the wedding planning, Ben had an interesting response.
“She still brings up the cake and the dress and the food sometimes, so no, not completely to a halt,” Higgins says.
“I’d say it just doesn’t have the immediacy as it did before.”
They were also asked about whether their wedding would air on TV and they were both pretty uncertain about what the future held for them.
“I have no idea. A lot of that isn’t fully up to us,” Bushnell explains.
“So we’re trying not to really think about like, is it going to be on TV, or where are we going to live in 10 years. There are so many unanswered questions and so many things that aren’t necessarily in our control, so we’re just trying to enjoy the time now.”
It seemed that the couple would only know if their wedding was being televised if their show got a second season.
It’s almost like they’re in limbo. I mean, it was only a few weeks ago that Chris Harrison was offering to foot the bill and have it televised.
The thing that will likely come in the way of a renewal is the ratings. Most episodes have been under 300,000 viewers, but it could still be renewed depending on how much it costs to produce.
We’ll probably get more clarity on the matter in the coming weeks about the fate of the series.

That’s just a strange brew right there, y’all.
In the book, Kailyn said Javi was jealous and controlling.
The Teen Mom wrote, “I thought I had my fairytale ending on September 4, 2012 — the day I said, ‘I do.’ “
“I had Javi,” she explained, “my knight in shining armor, and we had big plans to build a castle together where we’d raise our children in a stable, two-parent home.”
“I wanted to open a blow-dry bar, an idea my friends were so supportive of,” she revealed.
“Javi, on the other hand, was not on board.”
“In fact, he was downright unsupportive, knocking down the idea every time I brought it up,” Lowry admitted.
Kailyn even went as far as to assert that marrying Marroquin was a mistake.
On one of her more recent Twitter rants, Lowry wrote, “I walked away from something that was toxic.”
“A bad example for my children.”
Well, you have to do what you have to do.
Especially when it’s for the betterment of the kids’ circumstances.
And we hope that’s exactly what Marroquin’s doing here — moving on from a toxic situation, and getting on with his damn life.

Amber has maintained from the start that Farrah was the instigator, and she now says that if the episode is edited to make it appear otherwise, she will quit Teen Mom: OG:
“If they edit out what she really said than I am walking off this show immediately,” Amber tweeted earlier this week.
Obviously, most viewers are already firmly Team Amber in all of this, and Farrah cemented her place as the show’s resident villain on social media yesterday.
We really shouldn’t be shocked by anything she does at this point, but we were more than a little surprised to see Farrah post the following on Instagram:
She captioned the image:
“Lmao I love fans they make the best shit you can’t say out loud … by the way Iove miss piggy but not the knock off”
This isn’t the first example of Farrah’s online bullying, but it might be the most brutally mean.
Fortunately, the sex tape star/sociopath was called in the comments by fans asking the question that so many of us have been asking ourselves for years:

It probably goes without saying, but the rest of the cast is decisively on Amber’s side, including Maci Bookout, who tweeted the following while the reunion special was airing:
“@CatelynnLowell @AmberLPortwood love yall way more! its been one amazing journey, could not have made it without you two!”
She doesn’t directly diss Farrah, but she makes a point of leaving her out of a tweet in which she gushes about the rest of the cast.
Of course, it’s not as if Maci’s feelings about Farrah were any secret.
The season concluded with Maci and Taylor McKinney getting married, and while Amber couldn’t attend for medical reasons – Farrah was the only castmember who wasn’t even invited.

Kanye West: What Triggered the Breakdown?!?
We can most definitely say the following about Kanye West:
If his ongoing hospitalization is part of some kind of publicity stunt, then the rapper is more committed than we ever imagined possible.
West has been under a doctor’s care and supervision for over a week now, ever since he was accused of assault against a gym employee and considered a danger, either to himself or others.
At first, many wondered whether Kanye was simply being Kanye; that is, acting weird and doing whatever possible to garner attention and headlines.
But various reputable insiders have confirmed that West really is suffering from some kind of mental breakdown.
He’s been described as depressed and paranoid and there’s no date scheduled at the moment for his release.
Could we have seen this downfall coming? Perhaps.
Just days prior to his hospital admission, Kanye told fans that he would have voted for Donald Trump for President if he had voted in the election… slammed Beyonce and Jay Z… and ended a concert after just three songs.
But what actually caused this breakdown?
That’s a different question, with contrasting alleged answers.
According to Us Weekly, Kanye’s problems go back to the early morning of October 3.
It was on this date that wife Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris apartment, with numerous sources confirming the severity of the situation.
She was bound and gagged and truly believed she was going to be raped or killed or both.
“He’s been shaken up ever since the robbery in Paris. It did a number on him as much as Kim” an insider told Us Weekly, adding:
“The mere thought that anything could happen to her sent him in a tailspin. He wasn’t sleeping and he was having nightmares about it.”
If true, could anyone blame Kanye? We cannot imagine how we’d react if our closest loved one had his or her life threatened in this kind of manner.
There’s been a domino effect from Kim’s understandable decision to avoid the spotlight ever since this scary incident.
She has remained mostly at home with the couple’s children, leaving West on his own while touring.
“Without having Kim by his side during the tour as planned, Kanye wasn’t able to snap back,” People Magazine writes. “Kim being absent because of her own struggles seems to be why things are different with Kanye this time.”
The couple is reunited now, of course.
Kim has remained by Kanye’s hospital bedside throughout this troubling ordeal.
But TMZ does not place the blame for West’s mental state on Kardashian’s robbery or her absence from West’s professional life of late.
Yes, Kanye has had a lot to deal with as a result of what happened to his wife. He’s been especially stressed over the past few weeks.
Still, though, that celebrity gossip website says the the trigger for the breakdown was Donda West’s death way back in November 2007.
Kanye’s mother lost her life due to complications from a plastic surgery procedure. She was very close to her son.
Her funeral was November 20… the same date West cancelled his show at the L.A. Forum.
The following day, Kanye called off the remainder of the tour and hours later suffered this breakdown.
TMZ writes that West has never “properly grieved” over the loss of his mother and that he’s always had a tough time in November as a result of this tragedy.
Combine this sad anniversary with the trauma of Kim’s robbery and it all starts to become far more clear.
Kanye reportedly became paranoid when he was taken to UCLA Medical Center, refusing for a period to even let doctors touch him. He also screamed that people were trying to ruin his marriage.
We believe he’s calmed down over the last couple days, but there are no plans to send him home any time soon.
Matt Lauer Signs MEGA Today Show Contract
So much for those Matt Lauer firing rumors.
Heck, so much for those rumors about The Today Show hemorrhaging viewers.
Or at least about producers blaming Lauer for said hemorrhaging.
The controversial host has reportedly signed a new two-year contract to remain at the forefront of the NBC morning program, with sources telling Page Six that the deal will pay Lauer $ 20 million.
Per year, that is.
“The new deal will take him well into 2018,” one insider tells The New York Post, while another NBC source says that Lauer’s new “multiyear” pact could actually be longer.
More details will likely leak out regarding the contract over the next few days.
Lauer has somehow managed to survive a severe ratings decline for Today, along with a great deal of personal criticism.
He received a lot of backlash for how he handled Ann Curry’s firing back in 2013, with many believing he orchestrated the dismisal of his colleague from behind the scenes.
There was also chatter that year about Lauer refusing to take a pay cut in order to save the job of Today Show staffers.
Nevertheless, Lauer signed a two-year contract to remain host in June of 2014 and has now done so again.
It’s very possible that executives were worried about shaking up the morning program too much after the ousting of Billy Bush last month.
He had only been co-host of the 9 a.m. hour since August, but the network was left with no choice but to part ways with Bush after video surfaced of him acting all sexist and inappropriate with Donald Trump back in 2005.
This removed Bush as an option to eventually take over for Lauer, while Willie Geist and former Good Morning America-turned-NBC Sports anchor Josh Elliott have fallen by the wayside.
Lauer has managed to outwork and outlast them all on NBC.
In September, Lauer came under a lot of fire for how he moderated a live prime-time forum with Trump and Hillary Clinton.
It was believed in many circles that he did not call Trump out on his lies, specifically his claim that he was against the Iraq War from the beginning, and that he focused too heavily on Clinton’s email scandal.
However, The Today Show has been on a ratings roll of late, coming on strong to knock off Good Morning America (its chief rival) as number-one with adults in the coveted 25-to-54-year-old demographic for 63 of the past 64 weeks.
CBS This Morning sits in third place among these competitors.
No one from NBC or from Lauer’s camp has confirmed his new deal.
But we can confirm that we remain traumatized by Lauer’s portrayal of Pamela Anderson for Halloween many years ago.

Kate Plus 8 Recap: The Sextuplets Turn Twelve!
Tuesday on Kate Plus 8, the controversial mom of eight and tabloid mainstay reflected on the milestone of the sextuplets turning 12.
Yes … the Gosselins are twelve years old!
“The last year before the year of eight teenagers,” Kate Gosselin mused, adding “the year I’ve been dreading since they were all born.”
Based on her attitude, we’d think that would apply to every year since they’ve been born, but … that’s neither here nor there right now.
After all, she has a family to expand.
Yes, expand. Welcome, Nanook and Mack! Kate and the family got a pair of new dogs, then set about planning a big birthday celebration.
For the kids. Not the dogs. Every day is a celebration if you’re a dog that has that many kids to play with and is reasonably taken care of.
Of course, there was inevitable, and uncomfortable subject of the proverbial elephant in the room … or not in the room, or home, as it were:
With Collin being treated for special needs – or being hidden from Jon Gosselin, to hear him tell it – he will obviously not be at the party.
What kind of issues does the child have?
“I was not able with my own resources here to meet his needs,” she explained, pretty much as vaguely as she has in the past.
“He needs to be in an environment to help him learn the skills and help gain the insight to be the best Collin that he can be.”
Is Kate lying about his whereabouts? Or being intentionally misleading through omission? We can’t say with any certainty.
Whatever his behavior problems may consist of, having a party without Collin was “tough” for the kids and “tough for mom.”
Still, however, the show must go on.
After arguing with their mom briefly, the two older girls, Mady and Cara, performed their decorating duties as instructed by the taskmaster.
Mady said they “slayed” the job no less. Sweet.
When the party finally arrived, Kate gave instructions about the scavenger hunt theme she planned to a bunch of disinterested ‘tweens.
Or so it appeared at the time. But it went well.
The hunt mainly consisted of two Gosselin “teams” traveling to local businesses owned by parents of the kids’ friends, hunting for goodies.
Because there were more girls than boys in this Battle of the Sexes, Kate gave the boys a head start, which they used to their advantage.
They won. The boys WON!!!
Afterward, it was time to hit the party venue at last, and Kate gave some sage advice to girls about the virtues of sportsmanship.
“Inside, you can think the most horrible things you want, but outside you say, ‘Good game,"” she explained, somewhat ironically.
The only person who puts that attitude into practice less effectively than Kate might be her former boss on Celebrity Apprentice.
Just saying. Practice what you preach much? At all?
Anyway, the kids proceeded to play games, take photo booth pics and beat a piñata harder worse than Kate used to whomp Jon.
So to speak. They had a blast is the point.
The money booth, in which the kids grabbed as many floating dollars as they could, was the biggest hit, and an appropriate metaphor.
Kate, after all, is back where she likes to be.
With her trials and tribulations airing on TV, and garnering media attention left and right, she’s smack dab in the Money Booth of Life.
