Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon Get Engaged (You Won"t Believe Where!)

More like… No Longer a Paradise Because I Just Asked the Woman of My Dreams to Marry Me! In Paradise!
Indeed, while this reality show title would be way too long and would make very little sense in nearly every context, it would apply perfectly at the moment to Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.
According to People Magazine (and the revealing photo below), Haibon popped the biggest question of his life to Iaconetti on Sunday.
And he did it in a way that was simultaneously romantic, public and very much planned ahead of time:
He proposed while filming Bachelor in Paradise Season 5.
In an image released by ABC, Haibon Haibon got down on one knee on the beach, opened up his ring case and allegedly stunned his bride-to-be, who reacted by placing her hands on her chest and throwing her head back in excitement.
Back in 2015, loyal fans of this reality series may recall, Iaconetti was devastated to be turned down by Haibon after seemingly getting close to him on Season 2 of this same series.
But the stars remained close and Haibon eventually came to the same realization Ashley had before him:
They were soulmates!
“I never felt like it was over between us after Paradise, which is why I said we’re still going to be friends,” Jared said during a YouTube video of the couple’s love story, which they titled “The Story of Us.”
“Like, it just didn’t feel over,” he added in this lengthy and often-mocked piece of footage.
Haibon also admitted in this video that Ashley dating some other dude is what gave him the “kick in the ass” he needed to see what was in front of him this entire time.

“Bachelor Nation hasn’t seen so many of the important details that make up our story,” the couple says in this video, adding:
“[We] thought there was no better way to explain to the people who have followed our love lives for over three years than by filming our own episode of The Story of Us.”
Back during their first run on Bachelor in Paradise, there was chatter that Haibon and Iaconetti had sex, which would have been the first time for the latter enjoying such an experience.
It might explain what has drawn Ashley to Jared with such intensity over the years if this rumor is accurate.
“There’s just this undeniable, magnetic force between the two of us that just is indescribable,” Haibon told People Magazine at the annual Nylon Young Hollywood Party last mont, adding at the time:
“Love conquered.”
And then there was this from Iaconetti, said to Bachelor alum Ben Higgins during iHeartRadio’s The Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous Podcast:
“”He is my person. He is my soul mate.”
What else ise there to say?

Donald Trump to Jared Kushner: Go Back to New York, Little Boy
If you’ve ever laid eyes on Jared Kushner, you know that the the 37-year-old husband of Ivanka Trump often affects the wide-eyed look a man who frequently uses the word “papa.”
We assume just weeks before he entered the public eye, Kushner sported Goldilocks curls and was often seen enjoying a brightly-colored, cartoonishly over-sized lollipop.
What we’re saying is, the Kush’s aesthetic doesn’t quite fit with the supreme alpha, cuck-trampling, charred-steaks-with-ketchup image that Donald Trump has worked so hard to cultivate.
As a result, the boy wonder who was once charged with everything from securng peace in the Middle East to solving America’s opioid crisis has hallen out of favor with the president in recent months.
To be fair, there are many reasons that Trump and Kushner’s bromance has come to an end in recent weeks, not the least of which is that Jared has proven horribly unqualified for the many tasks set before him.
To make matters worse, the Robert Mueller investigation is reportedly zeroing in on Kushner in a way that may soon leave the disgraced convict’s son eyeing whatever options will allow him to escape his father’s fate, up to and including testifying against the
So it should come as no surprise thay Trump is not only distancing himself from Jared and Ivanka, he’s targeting his signature brand of schoolyard trash talk squarely at the son-in-law that he used to favor above his own sons.
Much has been made of the fact that Jared and Ivanka were the only members of the extended Trump clan to not join the president at Mar-A-Lago for the weekend’s Easter festivities.
Yes, the couple practices orthodox Judaism, but even Vanessa Trump made the trip to Palm Beach, despite the fact that she recently filed for divorce from Donald Trump Jr.
But according to new claims made in author Ronald Kessler’s The Trump White House: Changing the Rules of the Game, the Donald’s disdain for Kushner predates the recent holiday by several months:
“Look at Jared, he looks like a little boy, like a child,” Trump reportedly complained after watching one of Kushner’s first TV appearances.
Kessler claims that Trump then informed Jared and Ivanka that “they never should have left New York.”
He “made it clear to them that he would not mind if they gave up their White House roles,” Kessler writes.
And this is hardly the first report of tension between Trump and Kushner.
The New York Times reported last month that Trump “privately asked” Chief of Staff John Kelly for help in removing Jared and Ianka from the White House.
But because being afraid of your daughter and her spindly husband is the ultimate alpha move, the president simultaneously encouraged Jared and Ivanka to remain in their current roles.
The best part of all this is that the Kushners are reportedly dying to return to their posh, relatively-felony-free life in Manhattan, but are staying on at the White House for fear of angering Trump.
“If they leave they’ll be happy to go back to their old lives,” a source close to the situation tells People magazine.
“They love their kids so much and this is so distracting, to be a young family and have all this pressure instead of focusing on the kids.”
It’s the type of awkward situation that every family can relate to.
The only difference is, when you don’t want to ask your great-aunt Cheryl for the gifr receipt for that panini-maker she got you for Christmas, it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll both wind up wearing county orange jumpsuits.

Jared Fogle: Maybe Trump Can Get Me Out of Jail!
You know how Jared Fogle lost his appeal? Well, the disgraced former sandwich spokesperson is trying a new strategy.
This time, he’s filed new documents that name … Donald Trump.
Is he trying to wrangle a pardon?
The New York Post reports that Jared Fogle called on Donald Trump in his latest bid for freedom.
This week, Fogle filed a write of habeas corpus.
Despite sounding like a Harry Potter spell, it literally just means “move the body.” It’s classic legal jargon.
Which means that he is claiming that he is being unlawfully detained.
Fogle claims that his 2015 guilty plea was unlawful … because it included a conspiracy charge that he believes was unwarranted.
This isn’t his first attempt to claim that he shouldn’t be in prison, and it won’t be his last.
The twist this time … is that in addition to naming the judge in his case and the warden of his prison, he also named Donald Trump.
Jared Fogle is a former spokesperson who is now serving a 15-year sentence for the distribution of child pornography.
Donald Trump is a reality star who is, like it or not, the current President of the United States.
Despite that, they do have some things in common:
Both are associated with fast food.
Both are over 6 feet in height.
Both were mildly interesting public personalities about a decade ago but now you wouldn’t leave them alone with your or anyone else’s daughter under any circumstances.
None of that, however, explains why Jared would name-drop Trump on his paperwork.
The New York Post speculates that Fogle is feeling desperate.
Donald Trump is famously capricious, and may say or do anything on a whim regardless of what his advisors or the American people or common sense might say about it.
Could it be that Jared Fogle is hoping that Trump might buy into his argument that his prison sentence is some sort of government overreach and that he deserves to be free?
He is imprisoned on Federal charges, and so his crimes are within Trump’s power to pardon.
Even in these mad years of the Trump administration, that would be a … sensational and shocking move.
Regardless of what the former Subway spokesman hoped to gain by naming Donald Trump, a magistrate shot down his paperwork.
Specifically, the magistrate says that his documents are missing some details.
Jared has 30 days to submit a revised version … that does not mention any orange Presidents.
You may recall that Jared tried to appeal in 2016 by arguing that his sentence was unfairly long and therefore too harsh for his crimes.
He lost.
It’s not really a surprise that Jared is trying everything. For one thing, he has nothing but time on his hands.
For another, he was brutally beaten in the prison yard just two years ago. Since then, he’s been reportedly paying for protection, but that cannot come cheaply.
Even though he’s reviled across the country, he would of course prefer to be just another disgusting human being walking free than to be behind bars.
But trying to get Trump’s attention isn’t likely to work. Besides, Trump is a little busy golfing, working at least an hour a day, and enjoying his miserable marriage.
But, hey, maybe he’ll tweet about Jared at 5am, for whatever that’s worth. We’ll see.
