Parents Teach Kids to Pole Dance, Defy Critics (And Decency)
You know what they say, right?
The family that pole dances together stays together.
This is what Jake Night and Lindsey Teall, residents of of St. Louis, believe, at least.
The couple has made headlines for the rather unusual workout routine it is teaching its kids.
What possible reason would a mother and a father have for raising a family full of stripping pole dancers?
It all goes back to how they met and it goes from there…
1. Their Past Served as Their Prologue
Jake and Lindsey met when both were working as exotic dancers. They have a love and a passion for this near-naked activity.
2. A Family of Five
The couple has decided to pass along this pastime to its kids: Aiden, 11, Lindsey’s son from her first marriage; and their two daughters, Alaura, 5, and 3-year-old Rosalyn.
3. Their Pole Position?
The parents have installment a stripper pole in their living room. We’d love to see how guests react to that, right?!?
4. Let’s Play, Kids!
Jake considers pole dancing a sport and told The Daily Mail: “We have dealt with a lot of negative comments, I can’t even count, thousands upon thousands upon thousands. We’ve heard some pretty horrific things, they were going to hunt us down and kill us and take our children. The naysayers, the haters and everybody like that just makes us, as parents, more protective of them.”
5. But Aren’t the Kids Just Strippers Now?
No, insists Lindsey: “”This is a legitimate sport. A lot of people, you just can’t change their opinion. We’re living our most authentic life, sometimes people don’t like that; they want you to be like everybody else… Pole dance is taking a new route, it’s evolving into a sport, into an art.”
6. A Sport?!?
There is such a thing out there as this: THE INTERNATIONAL POLE CONVENTION, also commonly known as PoleCon. Per its official website, this competition “celebrates the diversity of the pole dance/pole fitness community. Come to learn, share and grow with men and women of all shapes, sizes, ages, ethnicities and fitness levels then stay for the community. #poleconisforeveryone.”

Kristen Stewart Pole Dances in Rolling Stones" New Music Video!

Lawlessness?
Check, check, and check.
Kristen Stewart"s latest super hot endeavor into the creative involved starring in The Rolling Stones" Ride "Em On Down, and the end result was something to screenshot and perhaps frame.
Or, you know, at least watch repeatedly, over and over (and over!) again.
In the video, a rough-and-tumble-looking Kristen smokes incessantly, picks up beer, a police impersonator, and some serious wood.
When she, you know, weaves her way in and out of the lanes of concrete, which are actually concrete and not … no?
Okay, sorry. Never mind.
Moving on — in the somewhat-seedy video, Stewart drives a car that matches a really lucky lollipop, and generally projects surly and sassy attitude that we"ve only dreamed about.
Some of the very fitting lyrics include, "I"m a dealin" man, still dealing, yeah I"ll go keep on dealing till I find myself a bed I got to stop dealing, I believe I"ll ride "em on down/ Well I done stopped dealing, I believe I"ll ride "em on down."
Just saying, since it"s pretty doubtful that you paid attention to anything else besides the lovely form of Kristen Stewart in the whole entire video.
Though the pairing between the Stones and Stewart seems random, it isn"t the first time Kristen"s been used as a music video muse.
One of her close friends, Jenny Lewis, has this little band, too, and while it"s not nearly as popular as that of The Rolling Stones, Stewart"s been in several of Lewis" videos, too.
Multifaceted, multitalented, super gorgeous, and willing to take on one or the other genders.
Could there be a more beloved celebrity in all of Hollywood right now?
There might be, but you"ll likely be hard-pressed to find one.
Check out the video below … it"s pretty much a guarantee that you won"t regret it, even if you absolutely, positively hated Twilight.
Disclaimer: aside from Kristen, we utterly promise that there"s nary a Twilight star or a sparkly vampire in sight, and better yet, no heavy, auto-tuned Muse-overload in this video.
In short — you"re not gonna regret how you spend the next three-plus minutes, and that"s a fact.

Pregnant Pole Dancer: You Go, Girl or... EWWW, Go Away, Girl?
You know how the Internet gets really upset when a pregnant woman shows off her toned stomach?
We can"t wait to see how the Internet therefore reacts to the following story…
The following video features Kat Bailey, a woman who is seven and a half months pregnant… and who we also meet while she’s dancing on a pole.
The mother-to-be is NOT a stripper, it"s worth noting.
But she"s certainly engaging here in some stripper-like behavior.
Bailey is a former lecturer in psychology at Nottingham Trent University. She’s taking part below in a theater pole dancing skit, which is apparently a thing.
At least in England.
As you can see, Bailey is rocking a rather huge baby bump.
She is also executing a number of moves – including an inverted sit-ups and crazy pull-ups during – that involve her stomach being pressed up against the pole.
Nevertheless, she totally kills her high-energy performance, even while carrying important cargo.
But should she have been doing this in the first place?
"Our doctors were very supportive," Bailey told the Nottingham Post, explaining:
"If you"ve done something for a while before you were pregnant then keep on doing it. It"s not a great idea to take up a dangerous hobby when you become pregnant, but in general they do encourage exercise when you"re expecting."
That"s true.
You typically hear that sort of advice when it comes to exercise, not pole dancing.
But we guess pole dancing is a type of exercise
