Half-Naked Woman Crashes Through Cook Out Restaurant Ceiling
A 26-year-old woman burst through the ceiling and fell in a Tennessee fast food restaurant.
What makes it extra strange is that she did so while half-naked.
What makes this absolutely mind-boggling is that she did it twice.
So, for context, Cook Out is a delicious fast food restaurant that offers burgers and barbeque.
Earlier this week, a Cook Out employee called the police at about 10pm.
(Cook Out generally stays open until 3am or 4am, which makes them a favored restaurant for partiers and night owls)
According to the employee’s call, she saw a woman burstin through the ceiling tile.
The woman was then able to pull herself up and retreat back into the ceiling.
Officers responded to the call, and found some damage in the kitchen.
Additionally, they found what appeared to be the ceiling woman’s wallet on the building’s roof.
Police were still on the scene when the woman fell through the ceiling a second time.
This time, she was unable to scramble back up, and attempted to exit the kitchen.
Police apprehended the woman identified as Harley C. Morton.
They also noticed that she was naked from the waste down.
Morton was transported to jail and charged with criminal trespass, vandalism, and disorderly conduct.
Most Cook Out locations do not have indoor dining areas.
They rely upon drive-through and walk-up customers and may have picnic tables.
This location did have a dining room, but there is tragically no known video of this woman’s bizarre emergence from the ceiling.
“Fortunately,” a term that we use very loosely in this instance, this is not a unique phenomena.
Wasn’t it just last September that a woman fell through the ceiling of a Mexican restaurant in California?
That fall through the ceiling was captured on video, and you can see that for yourself:
So, the Cook Out incident probably looked something like this, but without the red ceiling.
And instead of customers looking on in awe, you probably had Cook Out kitchen employees just an hour or two into their shift reacting.
Some may have freaked out.
Others almost certainly responded by thinking that it’s not the weirdest thing they’ve ever seen at Cook Out.
In broad daylight, I once watched a man place his order at a walk-up window and then job, while screaming repeatedly, around the building to access the bathroom facilities.
People go to Cook Out for the food and especially for their famous milkshakes, but seeing the absolute weirdest humans on Earth is part of the experience.
We hope that this story provides entertainment and does not discourage anyone from visiting Cook Out.
Their milkshakes are famous for a reason. Their food is also almost unbelievably cheap.
Full disclosure, I did not even know that they had locations in Tennessee.
(Also, I absolutely recommend their quesadillas)
We hope that Ms. Morton is okay. There are still no indications of why she was in the ceiling.
Hopefully, she is getting whatever help she needs. And hopefully Cook Out has already mended its ceiling and made their building a little less accessible.

Mechanic Steals Airplane, Crashes to Death In Puget Sound
A bizarre and tragic story unfolded on Friday night in and around Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
According to various outlets, as well as footage captured by stunned pedestrians, an airport mechanic hijacked a plane around 8 p.m., flew it around for about an hour…
… and then crashed into the Puget Sound in Washington, killing himself in the process.
The man, who was referred to as Rich by air traffic control personnel in various exchanges that have been made public, worked for Alaska Air Horizon and allegedly stole a Horizon Air Q400, shutting down the airport for a brief period of time.
In a statement released on Twitter last night, Sea-Tac Airport officials confirmed the reports of an “unauthorized takeoff,” saying in full:
“An airline employee conducted an unauthorized takeoff without permission at Sea-Tac; aircraft has crashed in south Puget Sound. Normal operations at Sea-Tac Airport have resumed.”
The incident is not considered to have been a terrorist act of any kind.
Instead, based on the aforementioned traffic control exchanges, it appears to have been a suicidal act by a troubled individual.
“Male is confirmed a suicidal male. Acted alone he is 29-year-old Pierce county residence [sic],” the Pierce County Sheriff Department Tweeted late Friday.
The drama actually played out live over air traffic control monitoring sites.
In audio recordings of the incident posted on Broadcastify, Rich can be heard talking to air traffic controllers as they try to guide him to land the plane.
“I’ve got a lot of people that care about me, and it’s going to disappoint them to hear that I did this,” the man says.
“I would like to apologize to each and every one of them. Just a broken guy, got a few screws loose, I guess. Never really knew it until now.”
It’s terrifying and upsetting to listen to.
Earlier in the flight, the man says: “This is probably like jail time for life, huh? I mean, I would hope it is, for a guy like me.”
“Well,” a controller replies, “we’re not going to worry or think about that. But could you start a left-hand turn, please?”
Throughout the back-and-forths, controllers are calmly trying to steer the man away from any place where he could cause damage by landing or crashing the plane.
They are trying to save his life and also the lives of everyone underneath his flight path.
“Let’s get you on the ground so you don’t hurt anyone,” someone identified as Captain Bill tells Rich.
As Rich flew over the water, a pair of F-15 fighter jets were dispatched to intercept the plane; neither were involved in the eventual crash landing.
The plane was seen by a number of witnesses doing stunts before crashing, as witnesses shared videos of the low-flying aircraft on social media.
“Some dude stole a plane from #Seatac (Allegedly),” Tweeted one witness, adding:
“did a loop-the-loop, ALMOST crashed into #ChambersBay, then crossed in front of our party, chased by fighter jets and subsequently crashed. Weird times.”
Weird times, but mostly sad and tragic times in this case.
The plane was taken from a maintenance position and was not scheduled for a passenger flight, said Gary Beck, Horizon Air’s president and chief executive officer.
An investigation is underway to determine more, but it is not believed that anyone outside of the pilot/mechanic was harmed.
“Our hearts are with the families of the individual aboard as well as all of our Alaska Air and Horizon Air employees,” said Constance von Muehlen, the airline’s chief operating officer.

Ben Affleck Crashes Motorcycle: Did Alcohol Play a Role?
Back in December, Ben Affleck checked into rehab for the third time in 12 months.
Everything the actor does is news, and reports that Affleck was drinking again following his previous stint in treatment were widely reported in the tabloid press and on social media.
But it now looks as though in the weeks before he checked back into rehab, Ben managed to bury an incident that may shed light on his decision to seek further treatment.
According to Radar Online, Affleck was involved in a frightening motorcycle crash sometime last month.
No other vehicles were involved, and though he was thrown from his bike, Affleck reportedly emerged from the incident unscathed.
The actor was reportedly on his way to church at the time, and there’s no indication that he was intoxicated when he lost control of the motorcycle.
Of course, that’s not stopping skeptical fans from pointing out that the accident occurred within days of Ben’s most recent stint in rehab.
“Ben’s still pushing himself to the limits after the bust-up of his marriage to Jennifer Garner,” a source tells Radar.
“And this time, friends are worried he’s pushing himself too far,” the insider adds.
While Affleck didn’t appear to suffer any major injuries, friends and family are reportedly concerned that the Oscar winner may suffer long-term damage from a blow to the head:
“His head took the brunt of the fall” a source confirms.
“He was wearing a helmet, but God knows what sort of damage he may have suffered.”
Ben reportedly refused medical treatment and left the scene abruptly, which many are taking as another indication that he may have had an elevated BAC at the time of the crash.
“You can usually spot injuries with an X-ray or CT scan within the first 24 hours of a serious trauma to the head or neck,” trauma expert Dr. Stuart Fischer tells Radar.
“But without this kind of testing, serious injuries can go undetected for weeks, or even months–and by then it may be too late.”
Again, it does not appear that legal authorities have any reason to suspect Ben of driving while intoxicated.
But given that he was believed to be on the wagon at the time of the crash and was on his way to meet his children at church, he may have feared that trace amounts of booze were still in his system from the night before.
The actor might have had reason to flee the scene even though there was no possibility of legal charges.
After all, the court of public opinion can be much less sympathetic than a criminal judge.

KJ Apa, Riverdale Lead, Crashes Car Following 16-Hour Work Day
KJ Apa, the lead actor on The CW’s Riverdale, was involved in a car accident last week after driving home past midnight, following an especially grueling work day.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Apa had just completed 16 hours of acting on the set of the popular teenage drama.
Apa, who portrays Archie Andrews on the series, fell asleep behind the wheel and was fortunate to escape from the crash without serious injury.
But his car was apparently destroyed after it hit a light pole.
The incident has stirred up a significant amount of controversy, given that actors on Riverdale often work these kinds of shifts and are NOT provided with transportation home afterward.
SAG-AFTRA announced yesterday afternoon that the union would investigate the set in Vancouver after this dangerous crash.
“This is an extremely troubling situation and we are deeply concerned about the safety of performers on the Riverdale set,” the statement read.
“We are sending a team to Vancouver to review the circumstances surrounding safety issues affecting performers on this production.”
A call between reps for the actors and Warner Bros. executives is scheduled for Friday, meanwhile.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Warner Bros. has said the following:
The safety of the cast and crew on all of our productions is of paramount importance to the Studio. Productions adhere to the Screen Actors Guild–mandated turnaround time of 12 hours from wrap time to next day call time for cast members.
In accordance with industry standard policy, if any cast or crew member feels tired or unsafe at any time after working, the Studio will provide a taxi, a driver or a hotel room upon request.
This is communicated to all cast and crew, both in writing and verbally, at the beginning of production and is reiterated continuously throughout the duration of production.
While the sides work out this important issue, Apa’s Riverdale co-stars have taken to social media with evidence that their friend is doing okay.
Camila Mendes, who plays the Veronica Lodge to his Archie, shared an Instagram Story pic of her colleague resting on the ground on Thursday, for example.
“U good?” she wrote along with it.
And Cole Sprouse – who decided at the last second against sharing a ride home with Apa on the night of his crash – posted a close-up of his pal wearing Jughead’s hat.

Concluded Warner Bros.:
“First and foremost, we are extremely grateful that KJ Apa was uninjured during his recent accident.
“Secondarily, we want to specifically address the characterization that conditions on the set of Riverdale are of concern.
“We have a large cast of series regulars, and our actors do not work every day.”
On the day of the accident, KJ worked 14.2 hours. The previous day he worked 2.5 hours, and the day before that he worked 7.7 hours.”
“KJ has repeatedly been informed about making production aware if he is tired or feels unsafe, and if so, either a ride or hotel room will be provided for him.
“The accident occurred last Thursday.
“Additionally, it is untrue that KJ was taken to the hospital. He was treated by first responders on the scene and released by them.
“We also sent a doctor to his home later that same day for a follow-up to confirm his well-being.”

Sean Spicer Crashes Emmys, Inspires Harsh Backlash

Yes, former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
The ex-Donald Trump lackey has grown into somewhat of a minor celebrity party due to the many lies he told from the administration podium and partly due to Melissa McCarthy"s popular impression of him on Saturday Night Live.
He appeared in this case after Colbert lamented how difficult it is to gauge these days just how many people watch a show.
“Sean,” he called out, “do you know?”
Enter Spicer and his podium.
“This will be the largest audience to witness an Emmys, period, both in person and around the world!” Spicer announced, over hoots and hollers of the Emmy attendees.
This, of course, was a reference to Spicer’s own statement about PresidentTrump’s inaugural crowd size during his first White House press briefing in January.
Photos depicted a sparse gathering, but the Commander-in-Chief insisted otherwise.
“This was the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration — period — both in person and around the globe," said Spicer at the time.
Was this cameo unexpected? Yes.
Was it funny? To some.
Was it controversial? Heck yes.
Spicer was simply doing a job as Press Secretary, taking orders from his boss like so many others around the world.
But he also flat out lied to the American people and misled residents on issues of national importance… over and over and over again.
So now he just gets to enjoy the life of celebrity and even mock the type of manipulative, deceptive, shady, secretive administration that he played a major role in creating?
Many on the Internet were NOT having that…
