In tumultuous times like these it’s be beneficial to indulge in a bit of escapism by reflecting on a less complicated time and when we were relied on simpler pleasures to keep us entertained.
So journey with us back to 2003:
That was the year that the Kim Kardashian sex tape made us all believe that you don’t need talent to become wildly famous – just a dream, an impossibly huge ass, and a mom whose willing to do anything to show the world that she’s more than just O.J.’s bestie’s ex-wife.
While Kim may have moved on and seems to really wish we’d all stop talking about the footage that made her a household name, her co-star is often more than happy to discuss what is arguably the most famous porn ever made.

Ray J has promoted the sex tape in several interviews, and while he has his own career going on (The former recording artist is a regular on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop.), he seems like he’d still sign a copy of the Kim K. Superstar DVD if you approached.
Mr. J was asked about the tape in a recent interview with Heat magazine, and while they’re aren’t too many new details to reveal these days, he did confirm some long-held suspicions about how it came to be an Internet sensation.
“I only did my part [in making her famous],” he said.
“As a man I tried to play my part in the situation … If you’re intelligent you can read between the lines.”
So yeah, sounds like more of Ray J confirming that the tape was not so much “leaked” as released in a coordinated effort to boost Kim’s public profile.
He also went to reaffirm that releasing the sex tape was Kris Jenner’s idea.
“Kris was totally involved in arranging the sale of Kim’s tape,” Ray J said.
But if that sounds like shade-throwing, it’s not:
Ray J went on to praise Kris as a “real, true hustler.”
Though he’s basically made a second career out of spilling Kim’s secrets, Ray says there’s no bad blood between him and his ex.
“Kim was just a ball of energy, always someone who was ready to have a good time all the time,” Ray tells the magazine.
We’re sure Kanye agrees…

Scott Disick Ditches Kourtney Kardashian, Hooks Up with Model in Miami
It’s been such an emotional roller coaster trying to keep up with the status of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s relationship, hasn’t it?
One day they’re together, the next she’s pregnant, they’re broken up again the day after that. It’s a mess.
Throw in a dash of Justin Bieber and a heaping spoonful of Scott’s ongoing addiction issues, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for disaster.
See, Kourtney and Scott have been having a rough month.
It started when Scott accompanied Kim Kardashian on her trip to Dubai for emotional support, as it was her first official appearance since she was robbed at gunpoint in Paris in October.
During that trip, he went missing for a whole day, and later claimed that he “overslept.”
It was fishy, and Kourtney thought so too, so she let him know. She reportedly went off on him, but sadly, Scott isn’t in a position to care too much about what the mother of his children thinks about him.
Shortly after returning home from Dubai, he left again for the Sundance Film Festival, where he allegedly partied hard, booze and all.
Things aren’t looking good already, right? Well, hold on, because it gets worse before it gets better.
(Full disclosure: it actually hasn’t gotten better yet, so …)
OK, so after his bad behavior in Dubai and at Sundance, he went on the family’s Costa Rica vacation to make things up to Kourtney.
So that’s nice, right? Maybe they’re patching things up? Not so fast.
Apparently, Scott left the family getaway earlier, because he was photographed yesterday in Miami, hooking up with a model in a hotel pool.
This guy …
The model’s name is J Lynne, and according to TMZ, she’s been telling friends that she just met Scott yesterday and they simply “hung out” all day.
But judging by the photos, it was a pretty intimate hang session: at different points, she had her legs wrapped around him and he was kissing her neck.
It could have been just a one day thing, sure, but if he and Kourtney had any chance at getting back together, that one day could have ruined it completely.
Hope it was worth it, Scott!
Jessa Duggar: Jinger Broke the Courtship Rules!
Now that Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo are married, Duggar rules say they’re free to do whatever they want with each other (so long as it’s done in the name of procreation).
But recent episodes of the Duggar’s reality series have taken place before the wedding, and we’re beginning to learn a bit more about the weeks leading up to the nuptials.
In the past, there’s been controversy over Jinger and Jeremy violating “courtship rules” prior to their marriage.
At the time, the talk was largely dismissed as tabloid chatter, but now we know that the Duggars themselves spent some time talking about Jinge and Jer getting a little too handsy.
On last night’s episode of Counting On, Jessa Duggar commented on Jinger and Jeremy’s “affectionate” behavior in a way that smacks of
“Jinger and Jeremy are much more ‘huggy’ and affectionate, but to each their own.”
“To each their own,” says a woman who believes that everyone reading this is going to hell for like 87 million different reasons.
This is like when someone says, “I don’t mean to be offensive, but…” and then says something completely offensive.
You can’t just tack a half-assed dismissal onto the end of sentence to negate the passive-aggressive smack talk that came before it.
If Jessa really didn’t care about Jinger and Jeremy’s “huggy” ways, she just wouldn’t have commented at all.
Also, “to each their own”?
Is Jessa super woke in terms of her gender-neutral pronoun usage, or did she just skip homeschool that day they learned about grammar?
We’re leaning toward the latter, but hey – to each her own.
Look, obviously we could care less if Jinger and Jeremy swapped partners at a 70s-style key party before they got married.
We’re just calling out the Duggars for some of their most blatant hypocrisy to date.

During a question-and-answer segment in the build-up to this Sunday"s Super Bowl showdown between his Patriots and the Falcons of Atlanta, Brady was initially just going through the motions.

Jenelle Evans: Custody Battle for Jace Gets Pushed Back AGAIN!
Things have really been looking up for Jenelle Evans lately.
It’s about time, huh? She just had her third child – and first daughter – little Ensley, but her journey of self-evolution goes beyond that.
She even has a stable-ish boyfriend in David Eason. He’s a first for Jenelle in that she’s never had to call the police to get him away from her.
She bought a whole bunch of land so she can build a beautiful home for herself, David and her two boys from previous relationships.
She hasn’t been arrested in months and months at this point!
Not only that, but she won her latest court case, the one where she was accused of throwing a glass at the head of her ex’s new girlfriend.
Yep, it looks like Jenelle has really turned over a new leaf.
Unfortunately, you can never fully outlive your past, and she’s still dealing with one pesky little issue from many, many years ago:
That whole thing where she gave up custody of her first child, Jace, to her mother, just a little while after she gave birth to the boy.
Then-teenage Jenelle basically realized that she liked hanging out with her friends and smoking weed too much to be a parent.
So Jace’s grandma, the legendary Barbara Evans, stepped up, and she’s been raising Jace – under legal custody – ever since.
Jenelle was fine with the arrangement for a while, but nearly two years ago now, she began the process to get her son back.
But the process has not been going smoothly, to say the least.
As Jenelle explained all the way back in August, “We haven’t even had, like, one real court date trial for Jace’s case.”
She said that “It’s been going on for a year and a half and my lawyer has been going to court for me and my mom’s lawyer has been continuing it.”
“She’s continued it three different times.”
Then, Jenelle was hopeful that the matter would be resolved in October, but thanks to Hurricane Matthew, that court date was canceled.
It was rescheduled for this month, but as Jenelle revealed today, that potential court date has since been rescheduled, too.
“About Jace’s case,” she announced on Twitter.
“It has been continued again from Jan. Until May!”
The 24-year-old reality star added that despite her repeated efforts, she hasn’t “seen the judge once since filing in 2015.”
One of her followers suggested she ask her lawyer to “push to get the case heard,” but Jenelle said that it wouldn’t work.
She explained “I’m already on the priority list, but there are cases that are older than mine that are in the same position.”
And judging by some other tweets she made last night into this morning, she’s not feeling too much love for her mother right about now …
She retweeted several messages from fans about last night’s episode of Teen Mom 2, messages like “Barb wants Jace to keep you in her life.”
“She is using him … so sad & controlling.”
Another fan told her that it seemed like Jace doesn’t want to hurt Jenelle or Barbara’s feelings by choosing between them, and Jenelle agreed.
“Exactly!” she wrote.
“I let the problem exist between me and my mom and try not to throw him in the middle. My mom then does the opposite.”
She also suggested that Barbara might be hanging onto Jace to get maximum airtime on the show, which honestly just sounds so gross.
We can’t see it from Babs. Even if she loves the fame, there’s a little boy’s future hanging in the balance here, and that comes first. Right?
Whatever happens, hopefully the May court date will stand, and this whole mess can get settled then, one way or the next.
After all, we really think Jenelle’s already had enough drama for literally a million lifetimes … but do you think she’s ready for custody?

Jason Hoppy: Arrested for Stalkig Bethenny Frankel!
Jason Hoppy has finally gone too far with Bethenny Frankel.
One could easily say, of course, that Hoppy went too far many times in the past with Frankel.
Back in November, for instance, Hoppy was accused by Frankel’s then-boyfriend, Dennis Shields, of sending dozens of emails with “increasing frequency and hostility.”
Those were the words of Shields’ attorney at the time.
The emails in question last fall referred to Frankel as old and ugly and warned Shields that she would soon leave him, just as Bethenny supposedly left all the other men in her life.
That was bad.
But the latest allegation against Hoppy is even worse.
According to The New York Post, Hoppy was arrested for stalking Frankel after her allegedly turned up outside the school of the couple’s daughter on Friday and screamed four words at his ex-wife:
I WILL DESTROY YOU!
The New York Police Department has confirmed the arrest and said it relates to the aforementioned email scandal.
After Hoppy sent nearly 50 threatening emails to Shields and Frankel over the span of about three months last year, he was issued a cease-and-desist letter.
Those past instances, combined with what happened late last week, gave the police ammunition to charge Hoppy with stalking.
Said a NYPD spokeswoman to the newspaper:
“On Friday, January 27, the suspect approached [Bethenny] and a friend at her child’s school at around 8:15 a.m. and tried to provoke a fight.
“He said, ‘I will destroy you, you can get all the lawyers you want, you’ve been warned."”
The spokeswoman adds that Hoppy denies this account and was placed under arrest on Friday afternoon and charged with harassment in the first degree and stalking in the fourth degree.
Hoppy and Frankel are parents to a six-year old named Bryn.
They were married for two years prior to getting embroiled in one of the ugliest, most bitter divorce and custody battles on record.
The divorce was not even made official until July 2016, at which time it was believed Hoppy was awarded a ton of money in spousal support.
“Jason is thrilled that this chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached,” an attorney speaking for Frankel’s ex said last summer.
In addition to a custody debate, the angry lovers endured conflict over who could live in the Tribeca apartment Bethenny bought in 2001.
Unable to decide on ownership themselves, the two actually lived for years under that same roof, despite their public and nasty breakup.
Frankel later referred to this arrangement as “brutal” and “horrendous.”
“I have cried enough tears to fill the Hudson River,” Frankel said last year of the split “I’d think, how could this go on for so long? Four years on a two-year marriage!”
Neither Frankel nor Hoppy has commented on this new arrest and the new stalking charge.
We aren’t going to choose a side in their ongoing drama.
We’re just going to say that a little girl is caught in between and we hope both sides remember that.

Kailyn Lowry: Caught Cheating By Javi Marroquin?!
With how much of their lives they share with TV audiences on a weekly basis, it’s hard to believe there’s anything we don’t know about the ladies of Teen Mom 2.
But it seems there are still some secrets that Kailyn Lowry is carefully guarding.
If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you know that Kailyn’s love life has been a source of near-constant turmoil for the past two years.
Kailyn and Javi Marroquin’s divorce appeared to be going smoothly at first, but these days the former couple appears to have hit a serious rough patch.
Kailyn has been accused of cheating on Javi in the past, and there’s been talk that she’s been concealing her romantic relationships from her ex even in the months since their split, for fear that he might not approve of the man or men that she’s bringing into the home she shares with Marroquin’s son.
Kailyn’s refusal to film TM2 scenes and reluctance to talk about certain matters on camera has made fans even more suspicious, but now a source is clarifying things on Kailyn’s behalf and claiming that Javi was mistaken when he thought he walked in on Kailyn and her new man:
“Kail was home trying to leave to go to Walmart,” the insider tells Radar Online.
“They had an agreement that at 5:00 he was to come pick up his stuff by himself and drop Lincoln off. It was 4:00 when she was trying to leave. That was within minutes of Kail telling Javi she was leaving for Walmart.”
It seems Javi showed up ahead of schedule and walked in on what appeared to be an incriminating scene.
The friend insists that the man who was at Kailyn’s house at the time is a long time platonic friend, but admits that that doesn’t mean Javi’s suspicions are without merit:
“The guy in the episode has been Kail’s friend for years, Javi acted like he walked in on something romantic between those two, but he didn’t,” the insider said. “
They’ve been friends for a few years and tried to see their potential romantically. They are still together.”
Asked about the incident, Kailyn seemed on the verge of admitting that the guy at her house that day is someone with whom she’s romantically involved.
“There’s so much that was left out,” Kailyn says of the scene.
“But throwing him under the bus doesn’t solve anything. I’m going to bite the bullet on this one. The truth will eventually reveal itself.”
Javi confirms that something sketchy occurred, and says he caught Kailyn lying and claiming that she was at Wal-Mart, when she was actually at home with the mystery man:
“I texted her and said can I drop Lincoln off and she was like, ‘I’m at Walmart right now come in an hour,’” he said.
“We pull up earlier since Kail’s car was there and we see another car. I knock on the door, Lincoln goes in and I said, ‘Let me get my stuff’ and she won’t let me in. I’m like I’m not leaving my son with another dude here, not happening.”
It sounds like things are gonna get a lot worse between these two before they get better.
Trump Supreme Court Pick: Who Will it Be Tonight?!
U.S. President Donald Trump plans to name a Supreme Court justice to replace the late Antonin Scalia tonight, according to reports.
Trump has reportedly narrowed his search to two candidates …
He is considering appeals judges Thomas Hardiman of the Third Circuit in Pennsylvania and Neil Gorsuch of the 10th Circuit in Colorado.
Hardiman is 51 and Gorsuch is 49.
Naturally, both men are being brought to Washington D.C. ahead of the announcement, which will be made by Trump on live television.
Would you expect anything less from the Showman-in-Chief? Maybe fog machines and an Apprentice style “You’re Hired!” ceremony?
In all seriousness, this is a big deal.
The pick (and possible future ones by Trump) could help to shape the ideological balance of the nation’s highest court for years to come.
Currently, eight justices sit on the court, following the death of Scalia, and there’s good reason that many recent decisions have been 4-4.
Chief Justice John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito form the more conservative wing of the eight justices at present.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Stephen Breyer fill out the traditionally more liberal wing of the court.
Anthony Kennedy, the most senior of the eight justices, is considered the closest thing to a moderate or swing vote among them.
The vacancy itself has sparked controversy.
President Barack Obama picked Merrick Garland, a Washington appeals court judge, to fill the seat vacated by Scalia last year.
The Republican-controlled Congress never held a vote on the nomination, saying it would be left to the next President to fill.
They’re about to get their wish.
Thomas Hardiman, a federal judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, was nominated by President George W. Bush in 2007.
He was confirmed to his current post 95-0.
Trump’s older sister, Judge Maryanne Trump Barry, who sits on the Third Circuit with Hardiman, has spoken to her brother about him.
Hardiman has established conservative credentials, particularly when it comes to the issues of gun rights, law enforcement and crime.
On the flip side, certain rulings involving discrimination claims from marginalized groups depart from traditional conservative orthodoxy.
A native of Massachusetts, Hardiman was educated at the University of Notre Dame and later at Georgetown University’s Law Center.
Neil Gorsuch was also nominated to his judgeship in 2006 by Bush, and has a reputation of solidly conservative rulings himself.
He has expressed admiration for Scalia, saying last year that he was “not embarrassed to admit” that he cried hearing about his death.
Gorsuch has been a defender of religious exemptions for private companies and nonprofit groups related to the Affordable Care Act.
Like Scalia, he is described as an originalist, judges who give weight to the text of the Constitution as they feel it was intended at the time.
Gorusch is from Colorado and is an avid outdoorsman.
Another man believed to be a longtime favorite for the seat, William Pryor of Alabama, was reportedly among Trump’s top three candidates.

According to at least one supposedly reliable source, Ivanka Trump is unlike her father in a rather important and mature way:
She can admit when she’s wrong.
And this source tells Us Weekly that the First Daughter is well aware she messed up on Saturday by posting a certain image to her Instagram account.
The 35-year old came under fire over the weekend after sharing a photo of herself in a silver Carolina Herrera gown on her various social media account.
The picture was snapped while Trump was attending the annual Alfalfa Club dinner.
And while this could have typically been shrugged off as just another example of Trump flaunting her wealth, good looks and status online for all to see… well…
… Saturday was not exactly a typical day across the nation Ivanka’s dad now rules.
In response to President Trump’s Executive Order that banned refugee access to the United States from seven predominantly Muslim countries, thousands of protestors took to airports around the country.
There were gatherings held in support of immigrants in Chicago, Nashville, Los Angeles and New York, to name just a few cities.
So many critics considered it rather tone-deaf of Ivanka to not only NOT mention these protests online, but to post a photo that depicted her luxurious lifestyle for all to see.
And Trump reportedly understands this viewpoint.
A source familiar with the situation told Vanity Fair today that Trump “feels terrible about the post, and does not want something like this to happen again.”
She has not deleted the post, but this sort of recognition is a good start.
A second insider, meanwhile, told the news outlet that although the post showed her “naiveté in not understanding her surroundings or circumstances,” Ivanka “can adjust her behavior accordingly, and she’s open to that.”
And then there’s a third source, who actually says Trump had no idea any sort of protests were even going on throughout the country.
How is this possible?
Because, according to this report, Ivanka and her husband were in the middle of observing Shabbat.
Both halve of couple are Orthodox Jews, meaning they don’t use technology or do any work between sundown Friday and sundown Saturday.
Could they truly have not known about Trump’s Muslim ban and the subsequent outrage? And then Ivanka Tweeted the controversial photo above after sundown on Saturday, but before checking the news?
It’s possible, we suppose.
But we still can’t blame those who fired back with insults, quips and comments such as the one below:
Kushner is, somehow, a close advisor to President Trump.
Ivanka, conversely, does not official role in her father’s administration, but she stuck closely by his side throughout the 2016 presidential campaign and has moved her family to DC since he won the election.
She has not made a public comment about the Women’s March held on January 21 or about the protests in response to her father’s Executive Order last Friday.
A source close to the Ivanka told Us Weekly last week that her dad “looks to Ivanka for advice and consultation on almost everything.” Which is a scary prospect, if you think about.
Then again… Donald talking to Steve Bannon about almost everything is A LOT scarier.

Kim Kardashian: "Stuck" in Marriage to Kanye West?!
By now you’re probably heard (and possibly already dismissed) the rumors:
According to insiders, tabloid headlines, and Twitter eggs, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are headed for divorce.
The reports have been circulating for months, and normally, the fact that no legal action has been taken by either party would be taken as evidence that the breakup talk is without merit.
However, these are special circumstances, and while they’re not known for jealously guarding their privacy (quite the opposite, in fact), when the Kardashians want to keep something out of the press, they can do so quite effectively.
Sure, Kim has been divorced twice before, but this time is different:
For one thing, it’s her third divorce, and the always image-conscious reality star is no doubt aware of the jokes that will be cracked on social media if she becomes half of three failed marriages at the age of 36.
Kim has implicitly characterized those first two marriages as misguided “starter” attempts, and her marriage to Kanye as the real deal.
For the most part, fans have been willing to buy that explanation.
After all Kim was very young the first time she got hitched, and her second marriage lasted only 72 days.
She and Kanye have been married for nearly three years; they have two kids together; and Kim seems to very much like the “type-A wife and mom who’s put her wild days behind her” narrative.
Add to that the fact that Kanye is an emotional time bomb, liable to spill all kinds of secrets in the event of a divorce, and it’s not hard to see why Kim might feel that she’s “stuck” in an unhealthy marriage.
Earlier this week, the Kardashians went on vacation to Costa Rica, but were not joined by West, a move that many took as an indication of trouble in paradise.
Now, however, sources are claiming that Kim cut her trip short in order to rush home to Kanye.
“She would not stop talking about Kanye while they were away and she doesn’t know what she wants to do she feels like she is stuck and is unhappy but she doesn’t know how to make it better and fix the situation,” an insider tells Radar Online.
Yes, it souns like Kim is simply tolerating her marriage at this point.
Normally, we’d say she’ll eventually get fed up and leave, but when it comes to Kim, we don’t think there’s any limit to what she’ll put put with for good publicity.

In her opening monologue for today"s episode of her very popular talk show, Ellen DeGeneres refused to discuss something very unpopular among her fellow celebrities:
Donald Trump"s new immigration policy.
You can click HERE to see what Ellen"s fellow stars have said about this controversial executive order, which bans the entry of refugees into the United States from seven predominantly Muslim nations.
But, nope, Ellen didn"t want to talk about this new law on air.
She just wanted to talk about the plot to Finding Dory.
This also seemed relevant because reporters confirmed that Trump and his family screened the beloved movie (which, of course, features the voice DeGeneres for the main character) in the White House on Saturday.
"Finding Dory is about a fish named Dory," Ellen explains in the following clip.
"Dory lives in Australia and these are her parents, and they live in America. And I don’t know what religion they are, but her dad sounds a little Jewish. It doesn"t matter.
"Dory arrives in America with her friends Marlin and Nemo. She ends up at the Marine Life Institute behind a large wall. They all have to get over the wall and you won’t believe it, but that wall has almost no effect in keeping them out."
Hmmm… wait a second.
Might Ellen be using this summary as a way to make a larger point about what"s happening in the country?
Might she be making a similar point as that of her co-star, Albert Brooks, who Tweeted over the weekend:
"Odd that Trump is watching Finding Dory today, a movie about reuniting with family when he"s preventing it in real life."

Over the past couple years, Budweiser has made headlines for its Super Bowl commercials for one reason and one reason only:

Dogs and other animals have typically been associated with the memorable Budweiser Super Bowl commercials of the past.
But Anheuser-Busch appears to have made a very different decision for Super Bowl LI, having just given us an early look at the most prominent ad it will run on Sunday, February 5.
Featured below, the commercial is a minute-long origin story about Adolphus Busch’s initial experiences in the United States after arriving from Germany in 1857.
Titled “Born the Hard Way,” the spot depicts the beer"s young founder being told, “You’re not wanted here! Go back home!” after he takes a boat over and faces numerous hardships prior to settling in St. Louis and meeting co-founder Eberhard Anheuser.
It certainly appears to be the company"s pointed response to Donald Trump"s controversial new immigration policy.
According to Ad Age, however, the commercial was filmed long before Trump’s Executive Order was signed on Friday.
Via press release, Anheuser-Busch’s vice president Ricardo Marques says the following of the ad:
“This commercial shows the start of Budweiser’s journey, and while it is set in the 1800’s, it’s a story we believe will resonate with today’s entrepreneurial generation – those who continue strive for their dreams.”
(For those wondering, yes, there are Clydesdales.)

Lala Kent: Identity of Her Mystery Boyfriend Revealed?!
If you watch Vanderpump Rules online, you know that one of the seasons’ central storylines has been Lala Kent’s clandestine relationship with a man who’s rumored to be a married, middle-aged “sugar daddy” type.
Lala quit the show, and has rarely appeared on camera in recent weeks (She’ll reportedly return for at least one more episode, in order to provide some closure.), but the rest of the cast remains intrigued by her affair.
The big question that’s hung over this season, of course, is that of the mystery man’s identity.
So who is this well-heeled Range Rover-gifting two-timer?
It was beginning to look like we might never find out (and it’s still possible that we won’t), but in 2017, no mystery is too big for the amateur sleuths of the Internet, and some folks now believe they know who’s been putting Lala on all those private jets.
This is the part where we cover our asses by pointing out that this is pure speculation, and that we’re simply regurgitating unconfirmed rumors originally published by other media outlets:
It seems that many are convinced Lala is dating a successful film producer named Roland Emmett.
Emmett, 45, is indeed married (to actress Ambyr Childers) with whom he has a child, and he is very well-off – which means he fits the bill in terms of what we already know about Lala’s sugar daddy.
It seems the speculation began when former co-star Stassi Schroeder jokingly tweeted at Lala to “give Randall a big kiss for me.”
Given that nugget of information, Vanderpump obsessives quickly uncovered a number of clues pointing at links between Kent and Emmett.
The most damning connection may be that Kent appears to have landed a role in a Nicolas Cage movie on which Emmett is credited as a producer.
Lala and Randall have been photographed together on multiple occasions …
… and she recently deleted a photo of her kissing a man whose face had been blocked out after fans pointed out that the bracelets worn by the man look similar to the ones Emmett often sports.
Pretty damning evidence, but we’re guessing Lala won’t be issuing any sort of response or denial in the near future.
It seems the reason that she quit Vanderpump and has been slowly backing away from the spotlight has been to preserve her relationship with whomever it is that’s got her living the unemployed high life these days.
It makes sense for her from a monetary standpoint.
(Reality shows don’t tend to pay newer castmembers the big bucks, and her Lala seems to be doing better without the show.)
That said, she really needs to start holding out for better “gifts.”

Stevie J: Going to Prison For $1.3M in Unpaid Child Support?!
If you watch Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta online, you know Stevie J is always at the center of drama, on and off the smash hit VH1 show.
Crazily, he’s in so deep when it comes to his previous child support arrangements that his recent baby drama with Joseline feels tame.
He just had another kid with Joseline (and is possibly expecting another with Ms. Jackson), even as he’s struggling to support his others.
Stevie J’s unpaid child support stands at $ 1.3 million (!) and he’s so far behind, a federal prosecutor wants him to pay – with hard time.
U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara says the reality star’s track record of ignoring his child support responsibilities has been flagrant and disrespectful.
In court documents, Bharara points out that the music producer (real name Steven Jordan) has already gotten plenty of “second chances.”
Whether he fails drug tests or simply doesn’t learn his lesson, the situation has not improved, and Bharara is ready to throw the book at him.
The prosecutor wants him locked up for at least six months.
Given that’s he’s admitted flaking on child support payments and has a history of other legal lapses, Stevie is facing serious jail time.
Last fall, he confessed skipping child support payments for two of his kids, spanning 1999-2015 and totaling approximately $ 1.3 million.
Compounding the troubled reality TV personality’s issues is the fact that he also recently came clean about using drugs while on parole.
That would be a major no-no by any measure.
In his final statement with the New York District Court where the Stevie J child support trial is ongoing, Bharara requested that he do time.
TMZ cites a source stating that because the government believes he “repeatedly screws up” with no remorse, he deserves what he gets.
That may be, but if he’s scared about being sent away, you wouldn’t know it by Stevie J’s twitter, where he continues to be pretty upbeat.
Reading those inspirational words is interesting.
On the plus side for Stevie, he’s trying to squash his beef with Joseline, and remains on good terms with recent baby mama Mimi Faust.
On the negative side … well, everything else.
He’s certainly swimming through troubled waters, but not a lot of people we know would be so optimistic under these kinds of circumstances.
That or the man is blissfully clueless.
Somehow we think that when it comes to prosecuting deadbeats, the U.S. and its representatives can swim fairly well in this metaphor.
