Julia Louis-Dreyfus Thanks Fans for Support, Has Coolest Son Ever

On Thursday, the record-breaking Emmy Award winner shocked the entertainment industry when she confirmed she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The beloved star learned of this illness the day after she won yet another Lead Actress in a Comedy trophy for her hilarious role on Veep.
“1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one,” Dreyfus wrote on Twitter, adding a plug for universal health care to her stunning admission:
“The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring family and friends, and fantastic insurance through my union.
“The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
Dreyfus husband Brad Hall have two sons together, one of whom shared a precious tribute to his famous mother one day after the world learned of her diagnosis.
“I couldn’t be more thankful for the outpouring of support for my mom yesterday,” Tweeted Henry Hall, along with a throwback photo that he pretended was taken last year.
“Love to you all,” he concluded.
Responded Dreyfus:
“I’m thankful, too. And also thankful for my dear boy with good manners.”
Sort of wants to make you melt into a million pieces right there on the spot, doesn’t it?
It hasn’t just been her immediate family members who has reached out to Dreyfus, of course.
You’d be hard pressed to find a more respected television actress in Hollywood.
“@OfficialJLD so sorry you have to go thru this, pal, but I know you will prevail. We are here if/when you need and we love you,” Tweeted Jason Alexander, who co-starred for years opposite Dreyfus on Seinfeld.
The legendary actress also received social media support from her Veep cast members Timothy Simons and Diedrich Bader, who play Jonah Ryan and Bill Ericsson, respectively.
“All our prayers for a complete recovery If love is any help at all, know that you are truly loved,” Bader tweeted.
And Simons:
“Julia is one of the most talented, most giving, most empathetic people that I’ve had the pleasure to meet. That she takes this news and turns it to help others is of no surprise. Get well, Boss. We love you.”
Then there was former Vice President Joe Biden, whose real job Dreyfus has pretended to have on HBO for the past six years.
“We Veeps stick together. Jill and I, and all of the Bidens, are with you, Julia,” Biden wrote, along with a photograph of himself and the actress in sunglasses.

Kris Jenner is looking for ways to profit from that (to no one’s surprise),
For the longest time, it seemed like Khloe Kardashian just couldn’t get pregnant.
As it turns out, Khloe’s uterus wasn’t to blame for all of that.
Recently, Khloe strongly suggested that Lamar Odom is sterile when confronted about getting pregnant now despite past storylines making her seem barren.
Tristan Thompson sure isn’t firing blanks, though.
Kylie is pregnant and will become a mother at age 20.
Kim is pregnant via surrogate and is set to welcome her third child into the world.
Khloe is pregnant at an appropriate age, but this will be her first.
Like any mother about to see one of her children give birth for the first time and about to get another grandchild, Kris Jenner must have been over the moon.
Specifically, she was excited about all of the fun ways that she could use this good news … to rake in more dough.
RadarOnline reports that Kris has something very specific in mind in terms of monetizing Khloe’s pregnancy.
Specifically, Khloe would get her own miniseries.
“Kris is really pushing for Khloe to do a Keeping Up with the Kardashians spinoff to document her pregnancy.”
Unlike Kocktails With Khloe, which reportedly ended because Khloe was losing interest in doing it, this is a series that would have a limited run by its very nature.
Like … you can’t renew a pregnancy.
“She told Khloe that she would even be willing to film it in Cleveland, since that is where she spends most of her time.”
That makes us wonder … is Khloe planning on raising her child in Cleveland?
No shade, but … we’ve never spoken to any Ohio natives who were glad to have grown up there.
“Kris thinks that it would be a nice change to shoot in Ohio because it would hit a completely different demo than what KUWTK viewers are used to.”
Is that really how demographics work? Like, surely it would be the same people watching.
Plus maybe a few folks in Ohio keeping an eye out for familiar landmarks.
And maybe some sportsball fans who want to see Tristan Thompson, we suppose.
Overall, RadarOnline‘s source says tht Kris Jenner’s excitement is immeasurable.
“Kris is absolutely through the roof fight now.”
We can only imagine.
“This is like a dream come true for her because more babies means more grandkids and better ratings for their TV show.”
Kris will certainly love her new grandchildren. Like, in the way that a grandmother loves her grandchildren.

Because she’s definitely going to use these future little bundles of joy to get bundles of dough.

To be clear, we do not mean any of what we’ve said about Kris here in a critical manner.
Kris Jenner is amazing and, quite frankly, a role model.
The Momager can use infamy, “bad” publicity, scandals, and outright hatred to her advantage and she’s turned her family’s existence into a media empire that’s spawned multiple wildly successful businesses.
That means that not only is she incredibly wealthy — even more so than she was before — but her children are all extremely rich.
(Well, Rob is just … rich)
Which sets up her grandchildren to all one day be rich themselves, with endless opportunities before them.
Isn’t it every grandparent’s dream to be able to do something like that for their offspring and grandchildren?

We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but it sounds like Meghan Markle is not a witch.
Hmmm … this might require some context.
You see, it’s about a story relating to Kate Middleton’s pregnancy. …
Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third royal baby.
Everyone’s excited about it.
Admittedly, this kind of thing has diminishing returns in terms of public excitement, but still, everybody’s pumped.
Among other things, another royal child will be a welcome distraction to the Brits in the face of the looming chaos and despair that is Brexit.
Over a week before they announced Kate’s pregnancy, we told you that Kate Middleton was probably pregnant again.
We even listed the reasons why — one of which being that there were signs that she was “ill.”
Kate is known to suffer from particularly unpleasant morning sickness.
Specifically, she has hyperemesis gravidarum, which means that her morning sickness is so unpleasant that it has a name that sounds like a Harry Potter spell.
Which brings us to Meghan Markle and her alleged healing powers:
So, there was a story going around that said that Kate Middleton couldn’t eat because of her extreme morning sickness.
(Sorry, late ’90s television shows — not everything’s better when it’s “extreme”)
That sounds totally believable, right? Morning sickness, even the normal kind, can be hell on the body.
Star came forward with a story in which their source claims that Meghan Markle provided a solution to Kate Middleton’s problems.
“Meghan put her culinary expertise to royal use. She researched all-natural, ancient remedies for morning sickness, then made a mild broth using organic herbs.”
There’s … so much in that.
One, there’s the implication that MegMar was able to fix something that Kate’s doctors could not.
Two, the always dubious “all-natural ancient remedies.” We’re all for herbal remedies (sometimes) but just because people did something a long time ago doesn’t mean that it works.
Three, citing her “culinary expertise” is next-level amazing. Using food to heal an illness is something normally reserved for video games.
“[Markle] had it rushed to Kate’s bed chamber.”
The use of the word “chamber” is always more fun than “rooms.” Because, you know, they’re royalty.
“Grateful Prince William gushed it was the first thing his pale princess had been able to get down in days.”
Nice alliteration.
So, like we said, we are sad to say that Meghan Markle does not seem to be a witch.
We’re sure that this would be great relief to Prince Harry’s ancestor, King James I, who was absolutely terrified of witches to the point where he’d have probably fainted on the spot if someone had offered to read his palm.
But gosh, it sure is less interesting than Prince Harry’s girlfriend and very likely his future wife secretly being able to cure incurable ails through natural remedies and the culinary arts.
But Gossip Cop reports that the story is bogus.
They report that a reliable source close to Meghan Markle assured them that it’s a total fabrication.
So … that’s that.
The fact of the matter is that people are thirsty for stories showing what kind of relationship Meghan Markle has with Harry’s family.
Kate Middleton was an outsider in that she wasn’t royalty already. That was, at the time, a big deal.
Meghan Markle is a divorced actress and she’s American. We’ve come a long way from Princess Diana having had to “prove” her virginity.
But … some worry that Meghan is such an outsider that Harry’s family might just put on polite smiles in public but secretly be discouraging their union.
People want reassurance that she’ll get along well with the people who could very well become her in-laws.
That, we imagine, is why this story had such appeal.
And, again, there’s entertainment value in an actress having magical powers. Even if it’s not true.

Jinger Duggar & Jeremy Vuolo: Moving to SCOTLAND?!
Shortly after she married Jeremy Vuolo in November of 2016, Jinger Duggar became the first of her father’s daughters to permanently relocate from her native Arkansas.
Jinger and Jeremy moved to Laredo, Texas after their wedding, and it’s been said that Jim Bob Duggar was less than thrilled by that development.
So we’re guessing he’s really not too happy about what the couple may have in store next.
Last week, Jeremy got fans buzzing with a tweet about a potential career change.
Linking to a post about a job opening at an organization called Banner of Truth, Vuolo tweeted the following:
“Ahhhhh!!! I told you this was my dream job.”
The ecstatic tone led fans to believe that Vuolo had already accepted the position.
Which is interesting, because it would require him to move to Edinburgh, Scotland.
Banner of Truth’s Twitter page describes it as “a Christian organisation which publishes books, organises conferences, and publishes a monthly magazine. You are what you read.”
Currently, Vuolo works as a preacher, and he’s been vocal about his passion for theological research, so it’s not hard to see why the position of editorial assistant at a Christian publishing company would appeal to him.
According to the Banner of Truth website, the job would have Vuolo directly involved in the publication of faith-based books and periodicals:
“The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the editorial work, from early manuscript development, to detailed editing, proofing, and page design,” the description reads.
It’s still unclear if Vuolo has accepted or even applied for the job, but fans are speculating that such a move would outrage Jim Bob for a number of reasons.
For starters, if Jim Bob was displeased when Jeremy and Jinger relocated to Texas, we’re guessing he’d really be angry if they up and moved across the pond.
On top of that, Jim Bob and Jeremy differ in their religious beliefs to the extent that Jim Bob was hesitant about giving his daughter permission to marry Vuolo.
It seems the primary point of contention is the fact that Jeremy is a Calvinist, a belief system that fliest in the face of much that Jim Bob holds dear.
Though the movement began in France, Scotland is considered to the the epicenter of modern Calvinism, a designation that Jim Bob is no doubt very much aware of.
A move to Scotland would send a strong message to Jim Bob from both Jeremy and Jinger, who’s been openly rebelling against some of the draconian strictures of her childhood ever since she became a Vuolo.
It’s impossible to predict how Jim Bob would respond, but it will certainly be interesting to see how all of this plays out.

But who will fill Rachel Lindsay"s shoes in the next season of The Bachelorette?
Obviously, we don"t expect to know right away. And there"s always a chance that a few viable candidates will emerge from among the contestants on Arie"s season of The Bachelor.
That doesn"t mean that we can"t consider the possibilities, though. Because the Bachelor Nation has some very strong candidates already.
Some of these women are beloved by the Bachelor Nation. Others are … we don"t want to say reviled, but they don"t necessarily foster warm feelings with potential viewers. We shouldn"t dismiss their entertainment value, however.
So let"s look at who it might be!
Of course, since showrunners apparently chose Arie Luyendyk Jr. in part because they worried that it was too easy for fans to guess who would be next, maybe we"re disqualifying all of these ladies just by mentioning their names.
We hope not.
1. Kristina Schulman
This girl won a lot of sympathy on Bachelor in Paradise during her love triangle with Dean Unglert. While his reputation sunk, her star has never been brighter. Should she become the Bachelorette?
2. Vanessa Grimaldi
You might be thinking that they’d never cast Vanessa, because she and Nick only JUST broke up. Well, Arie Luyendyk Jr. had a girlfriend until just a couple of days before he was announced as the Bachelor. The real question is, since Rachel Lindsay was just the Bachelorette, would they have two leading ladies back-to-back who hate each other?
3. Corinne Olympios
Hear us out on this one. The scandal on Bachelor in Paradise this summer wasn’t her fault or DeMario’s. She’s still entertaining and seeing her be the Bachelorette would be the stuff of dreams. She has a heart of gold and a platimun vagine — literally what more could you ask for? Plus, there’s a chance that she’s already in talks for it.
4. Ashley Iaconetti
She’s been on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise and she knows how to stay relevant even between seasons. Some might question her star power, but she could very well have what it takes to be the leading lady.l
5. Andi Dorfman
“But she was already The Bachelorette!” Yes. But, especially given that it resulted in a tumultuous relationship with Josh Murray, doesn’t she deserve another bite at the apple?
6. Amanda Stanton
Amanda dismissed the idea of becoming the Bachelorette, but … that could be a deliberate deflection. She’s gorgeous, she’s a mom, and she’d be great in that role.

Megyn Kelly Wraps Up Awful Week With Awkward Jab at Critics
Well, it’s Friday, and no doubt many of our readers are wrapping up tough weeks at work.
But folks, rest assured that no matter how many presentations you botched or flasks you were caught sipping from during important meetings (Susan in accounting is so damn judgemental!), you almost certainly didn’t have as terrible a week as Megyn Kelly.
It’s hard to overstate just how hard Megyn bombed in her first week hosting the second hour of Today.
It’s looking more and more like Kelly’s move to NBC will be remembered as the media equivalent of Crystal Pepsi – a costly corporate misstep that left the masses shaking their heads in disbelief that the big guys at the top could be so clueless.
But before we get to the awkward interviews, the savage Twitter roastings, and the on-camera cursing, let’s briefly recap how Megyn went from Fox News firebrand to perma-grinning Savannah Guthrie impersonator.
Kelly signed on with NBC back in January amidst continued shakeups and scandals at Fox.
Many wondered how the politically-neutral-ish network would use Kelly, who made a name for herself as a mouthpiece for the far-right.
And now it looks as though execs were equally unsure of where the 46-year-old would fit into their lineup.
She started out with a 60 Minutes-style Sunday night newsmagazine, and while Kelly’s ratings were decent, her interviews with Alex Jones and Vladimir Putin drew widespread condemnation from her media colleagues.
Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly is currently on hiatus, and its future is uncertain.
But that’s fine, because Kelly is totally done with politics, anyway!
Or at least that’s what she told her audience during her opening segment on Today Monday morning.
Unfortunately for Megyn, it seems she was a much better fit in the political arena than in the world of weekday morning perk-peddling.
The blunders started early and happened often.
First, Megyn asked a Will & Grace fan if watching the show “made [him] gay.”
(Series star Debra Messing later denounced Kelly’s comments.)
One day later, she got roasted by Jane Fonda for questioning the revered actress about plastic surgery in front of a live audience.
“Given the fact that we don’t have a lot of time and [Robert Redford] is right here, it’s a weird thing to bring up – whether I’ve had plastic surgery or not,” Fonda said after the interview.
“I have and I’ve talked about it. Seemed like the wrong time and place to ask that question,” the actress concluded.
The slip-ups and awkward moments were so plentiful that a cameraman saying “sh-t” live on the air barely attracted any media attention.
Kelly may have cut ties with the political world, but she’s brought the living nightmare/trainwreck vibe of Washington in 2017 to morning television.
She’s basically delivering the Trump administration of morning talk shows.
This morning, Kelly attempted to make amends and essentially ask for a re-do with a closing monologue that’s already being torn apart on social media:
“I just want to take a moment to thank all of you so much for watching this week. It’s been very exciting. It has been educational. I’ve just been so delighted that the media response, which has really — no,” she told her audienc in an attempt at humor.
“But the viewer response has been awesome, and I am so grateful to have all of you giving us a chance.”
For the record, the audience response had not been “awesome,” at least not according to the ratings, which have been in steady decline since Monday.
It may be time for both Kelly and NBC to cut their losses.

Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner are all set to become mothers.
It"s incredible, yet true.
The former is expecting her third child via surrogate, while the latter siblings are pregnant for the first time.
With so many wombs so very active and so many nurseries about to be full of so much cuteness, we"ve compiled a rundown of everything you need to know about these impending children and their parents.
Are you prepared to keep up with these future Kardashians?
1. A Third Baby for Kimye
Due to pressing health concerns, Kim cannot afford to get pregnant again. She and Kanye West have therefore hired a surrogate to give birth to their child, immediately after which he or she will be adopted by Kimye.
2. What Do We Know About the Surrogate?
Not a lot. She lives in California; she is African-American; she is married; she is in her 20s; Kimye found her through a surrogate service; and she is being paid $ 45,000 for effort.
3. So, This is Really Happening?!?

4. Okay. What About Khloe?
She is pregnant with Tristian Thompson’s baby. The stars have been dating for just over a year.
5. Was It an Accident?
We doubt it. Granted, the couple is not married, or even engaged, but Khloe has been talking about wanting kids FOREVER.
6. Did She Use IVF?
We also doubt it. Khloe considered fertility treatments back when she was married to Lamar Odom, but she was “determined to have a natural baby with Tristan,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

In light of the news that Khloe Kardashian is pregnant, some fans were quick to point out that, in the past, Khloe Kardashian had appeared to struggle with fertility issues. In light of her current pregnancy, they accused her of lying.
Khloe, first of all, insists that she never lied to anyone about that.
And second of all, while speaking out about this pregnancy, she blames failures to conceive on Lamar Odom.
Khloe’s pregnancy comes on the heels of the news that Kylie Jenner is pregnant and will become a mother at the age of 20.
Since Kim is also pregnant via surrogate with her third child, 2018 is going to be a very interesting year for the Kardashians.
For one thing, we’ll be learning three new Kardashian baby names.
Kim is already a mom and she’s married and has her life together, so we don’t really have any real concerns in that department.
Kylie Jenner … well, she got pregnant at 19 after, by our calculations, very likely getting pregnant with Travis Scott’s baby after one month of dating him.
It doesn’t help that Travis Scott is Kylie’s rebound boyfriend after her years of on-again, off-again with Tyga.
On top of her youth and maturity issues, people just don’t think that Kylie has any realistic grasp of how time-consuming it is to have children.
Aside from her massive network of supportive family members and her basically infinite resources, Kylie’s one real asset is that she might actually make a good mom. She’s caring towards her dogs and that’s usually a great sign.
Khloe, on the other hand, has a reputation for being controlling. Some worry that she might not make the best mother.
But some fans have other concerns about the mom-to-be.
Fans have long memories, and thanks to the internet, nothing ever just “goes away.”
So, for years now, it’s looked like Khloe might genuinely struggle with fertility issues. It’s been a recurring storyline on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
One fan in particular, Instagram user @ttorria, worried about how that storyline meshed with Khloe’s current pregnancy.
“Am not hating, but you lied to us on the show when you were married to @LamarOdom that you were having issues conceiving.”
That’s an interesting accusation. And a good point.
“After that you finally tell us the truth that you never wanted to have a child with him because you both had bigger issues in the relationship.”
Like Lamar’s alleged substance abuse issues, basically.
“It’s unfair to those who are truly struggling in that area.”
You get the feeling that maybe this is personal to this Instagram user.
Khloe Kardashian actually replied, defending herself … and kind of throwing Lamar under the bus in the process.
“I never lied to anybody on the show. I did try and I did go through fertility treatments. Those were documented.”
It sounds like maybe they should have done more testing before she put herself through that.
“But once we went through the fertility treatments and we realized the problem did not lie within me.”
Gee … we wonder who that might be.
“The only thing I ever withheld was who had an issue fertility wise. Finally a light went off in my head — let me remind you — it takes two to conceive.”
Nice use of subtlety there, Khloe.
Khloe doesn’t say that Lamar Odom is sterile, but … isn’t that what she’s saying?
We’re reminded of that line from Kourtney and Kim Take New York that became one of our favorite memes.
To the camera, Kim Kardashian says: “I’m dropping hints that I’m single.” The camera then cuts to Kim’s conversation, where she bluntly states: “I’m single.”
Well, you might say that this is Khloe “dropping hints” that Lamar Odom is sterile and that this is the reason that they were unable to conceive.
It’s a reasonable explanation, though we don’t know that Lamar will appreciate it.

Rain Brown Pens Moving Note to Alaskan Bush People Fans
Rain Brown has been going through a lot over the past several months.
As reported on at length, the Alaskan Bush People star and her siblings are faced with the strong possibility that their mother will soon pass away, considering Ami Brown"s lung cancer diagnosis.
In response, the 14-year old has been taking often to social media, having to actually deal with trolls who are giving her a hard time over the way she"s handling this difficult situation.
Thankfully, Rain hasn"t been backing down.

Miranda Lambert and Anderson East: Racing to Marry Before Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton?!
Well … this is nuts.
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seem to be close to tying the knot. Blake Shelton’s recent song was all about marriage, which … is not subtle at all.
But in the race between exes to actually tie the knot, it looks like Miranda Lambert intends to win. By any means necessary.
Have you ever heard one of those romance stories (probably in a movie) where a couple breaks up but they both meet new people and end up being way happier because of it?
Life … rarely works out that way.
But sometimes people who seemed like a solid match aren’t so well-suited for each other.
And sometimes they do both move on and find new people.
The trouble, of course, is that real life has rebound relationships.
That’s a real thing — not just something that bitter exes call someone’s new datemate. You get out of a long-term, serious relationship and suddenly you miss the companionship and affection and convenient sex. So you find someone right away, just to fill that void.
That thirst for a rebound is how Kylie Jenner got pregnant at 19. (She only just turned 20, folks)
In the case of Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, they both ended up in serious relationships that have now lasted for a couple of years.
Blake Shelton’s relationship with costar Gwen Stefani — who had just gotten out of her marriage after reportedly being cheated on — has been more widely publicized.
In part because they’re costars on The Voice. In part because Gwen Stefani is a mainstream musician, and Country music exists in its own little world.
Miranda Lambert hooked up with fellow Country singer Anderson East, who we should note is ever-so-slightly younger than she is. They only recently celebrated two years together.
So … which of them is going to be the first to tie the knot?
According to InTouch Weekly‘s source, Miranda Lambert and Anderson East may just elope.
That’s not the sort of celebrity wedding that you’d expect.
Especially not when the woman in the couple is so well known that even non-Country fans recognize her name.
Reportedly, Miranda and Anderson had been looking at a “countrypalooza-type wedding.”
It would have had performances from their favorite Country stars (who are also their friends) and been a whole production.
Like a Hollywood wedding, but maybe in Tennessee or something.
But now … plans have changed.
“They are pushing to run away and elope by year’s end.”
October starts on Sunday, so year’s end is three months away.
“They’ll make time during the holidays to elope and have a honeymoon.”
That’s so soon!
Not inappropriately soon. They’ve been seeing each other for two years. So, you know, that’s fine.
But … we have to wonder what’s motivating this.
It’s not like “Miranderson” is especially camera-shy or publicity-shy or whatever.
So a big wedding wouldn’t be out of the question.
Are they concerned about their guest list feeling conflicted because of ties to Blake Shelton?
It’s also possible — and we’re just speculating, here — that Miranda Lambert has had enough with Blake and Gwen’s massively publicized relationship, and that she doesn’t want to read about them getting married when she and Anderson haven’t exchanged vows yet.
That might not be the healthiest reason, if it’s her motivation.
But elopements are a hell of a lot easier to plan than weddings.
Elopements are also cheaper — no matter how rich you are or how fancy your elopement might be.
(Well … not if you elope into space, but that’s not a thing quite yet)
We’re always leery of rumors of elopement.
Like, sometimes people make offhanded remarks about how they’d rather elope than keep planning their wedding.
Just because a friend takes it seriously and leaks it doesn’t mean that the bride or groom was doing anything more than venting or fantasizing.
On the other hand, there’s a lot to be said about eloping.
Many consider big weddings to be a wasteful industry — even when rich people do it.
So maybe Miranda and Anderson have the right idea.
But even if they’re planning to tie the knot in only three months, there’s still a chance that crazy-in-love Gwen and Blake might beat them to the altar.
