Hurricane Harvey Relief: Which Celebrities Donated?
Hurricane Harvey was a Category 4 storm when it first made landfall in Texas.
We have all seen the photos of the flooding. We"ve seen highways that have flooded so high that the water above them has waves.
We"ve seen people standing on rooftops, people riding boats between houses, and heard the horrifying stories of people who were swept away by the water.
Celebrities have heard this, too, and they have been using their considerable platforms and their own personal resources to help with the relief effort.
As climate change continues to destabilize what were once more temperate weather patterns, these "500 year storms" will be coming more and more frequently.
Many believe that we need a better coordinate governmental response when these disasters strike. It"s good to hear stories of private citizens acting as heroes, but it"s better if they never have to.
In the mean time, however, boat owners have been taking time off of work and traveling with their boats towards Texas where they hope to help distribute supplies and reach people who are still stranded.
Celebrities are donating money to the relief effort, but some stars are doing even more.
1. JJ Watt
JJ Watt’s relief fundraiser had an initial goal in the six digits. It has currently raised over $ 10 million and the amount continues to clim as donations pour in.
2. Jennifer Lopez and Alexander Rodriguez
J Lo and A-Rod have each donated $ 25,000. They have also used their celebrity status to encourage their followers to donate to the Red Cross.
3. DJ Khaled
In addition to sending his prayers to the people of Houston, DJ Khaled has also donated $ 25,000 to aid those ravaged by Harvey.
4. Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj announced that she was donating $ 25,000 when she shared Kevin Hart’s message.
5. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Dwayne Johnson donated $ 50,000 and shared Kevin Hart’s plea.
6. Kevin Hart
Kevin Hart is said to be the first major celebrity to donate, putting up $ 50,000. He’s also encouraged other celebrities to do the same.
Tom Brady: Caught Lying About Floyd Mayweather Friendship?
As expected, Floyd Mayweather defeated Conor McGregor Saturday night in a fight that was far more entertaining than it had any right to be.
Of course, now that his career in the ring is over, Mayweather will likely spend the rest of his days engaged in the other kind of battle he’s become famous for.
No, we’re not talking about the many incidents of spousal abuse he’s been arrested for over the years.
We’re talking about the odd, passive-aggressive verbal sparring between Floyd and random celebrities that seems to take up much of the boxer’s time.
The most high-profile example in the past year saw Floyd getting dissed by former friend Justin Bieber, who decided to cut ties with the Money Man as a result of Mayweather’s ungodly ways.

Now, Floyd is in a tift with another talented, but widely-despised pretty boy.
And amazingly, he’s found a frenemy who might be even more universally-disliked than Bieber.
Asked about his celebrity friends in a recent interview, Mayweather stated that he and Tom Brady are pretty much besties.
“That’s a close friend of mine. Tom Brady is a very, very close friend,” Mayweather said.
“An unbelievable guy with unbelievable talent…he’s a great guy. Actually, Tom Brady texted me yesterday.”
In case you didn’t get the point that he and Tom are bros for life, Mayweather continued:
“We have a cool friendship. He texted me and asked me ‘How’s everything going?’ And I texted him back: ‘Everything is cool, how you doing? How’s the family?’ And he said, ‘Everything is going A-OK."”
Wow, sounds like they’re pretty tight.
Unless, of course, you ask Tom Brady about his supposed BFF.
Fortunately, that’s just what a pair of Boston radio hosts did this week, and the results were hilariously awkward.
After repeating that he’s only met Floyd “a couple of times,” Brady responded with a curt “no” when asked if he and Mayweather are friends.
“No, I met him a couple of times,” Brady said, clearly dying to move on to a new topic.
“I think he’s a great fighter. That was a great fight the other night.”
We hate to side with Floyd on … well, on anything, really, but Mayweather is probably telling the truth here.
TMZ is reporting that Floyd was spotted video conferencing with Brady during a press conference just before his fight with McGregor.
For boxers, every fight is one of the biggest days of their life, so if they’re video chatting with you the night before, you’re probably more than just some dude they met a couple times.
In all likelihood, the Patriots QB is just trying to manage his public image after the debacle that ensued last summer when the world learned that Brady and Donald Trump are friends.

90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? is right to put that question mark at the end of their name. No couple is guaranteed happiness, but especially not those who — through legal constraints — only have a few months to get to know each other before they marry.
The second part of the explosive Tell All segment will air this Sunday, and we have the big dramatic moment from the first segment for you below.
We can also tell you a little about what"s coming on Sunday. For one thing, it looks like the conflict between Paola and Russ isn"t quite resolved. Oh, and everybody says exactly what they think about Anfisa Arkhipchenko.
So, let"s just make sure that everybody"s up to speed.
Paola Mayfield and Russ usually seem happy together. This is especially true when you compare them to their costars.
But Paola is a model, while Russ is from Oklahoma and holds conservative views and is sometimes uncomfortable with his wife wearing underwear on camera.
On camera, Paola Mayfield wore lingerie for a job against Russ" wishes, which has been a sore point for him ever since.
Anfisa Arkhipchenko and Jorge Nava met over Instagram because Anfisa is a model and Jorge fell for her immediately.
When Anfisa came over to the US and found out that Jorge was no longer as well off as he had been and was in fact in debt, she didn"t take it so well.
Also, Anfisa once hit Jorge on camera. That takes the toxicity of their relationship to another level.
They separated, though it was over a confrontation between Anfisa and Jorge"s sister.
Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali only had sex once, to consummate their marriage.
After that, Danielle constantly accused Mohamed of cheating on her.
Eventually, the two of them parted ways. Not only are they no longer married, but Mohamed Jbali temporarily left the country.
(Not because of Danielle"s repeated attempts to get him deported, however)
He"s back, though.
So, for the first segment of the big Tell All, the most dramatic moment was the confrontation between Russ and Paola while on the couch.
The two are posed cuddling because that"s how you sit when you"re reality stars who are a couple on a show about your relationship.
But, as you can see in the clip below, as Paola responds to questions and begins to express her frustrations with feeling torn between her career and her husband, Russ makes things worse.
Russ seems to insult Paola"s career, suggesting that she doesn"t get that many job offers in the first place so she can"t possibly be turning that many down on his behalf.
The way that he gets upset about her career is, honestly, a huge red flag. There are plenty of models — for that matter, plenty of sex workers, from strippers to porn stars to those who engage in prostitution — who have loving and supportive partners.
And then there"s Russ Mayfield, who seems unable to deal with the thought of her wearing lingerie outside of their bedroom. It"s not cute; it"s controlling and alarming.
But to see him insult her like that on camera, in such a snappy voice (many fans of the series have described Russ as "whiny" and that"s accurate) makes for some difficult viewing.
Paola has enough and storms out, which seems to only make Russ more irritated. It seems sometimes that he doesn"t care about her feelings, but maybe he"ll wise up.
The official description of this Sunday"s episode includes:
"At the end of Part 1 of the tell all, Russ and Pao’s emotional confrontation over her wearing lingerie for a music video led to her storming off set. The fight continues backstage as they hash out their differences over Pao’s career choices."

As for Anfisa and Jorge, it looks like their time to shine … or whatever … is coming on Sunday"s Tell All.
Anfisa"s desire to be treated like a princess and Jorge"s inability to spoil her has been a major point of contention between the two of them.
From what The Wrap has learned about Sunday"s episode, Jorge Nava is confronted by Loren Brovarnik about everything in his relationship with Anfisa.
It sounds like the intervention that Jorge has needed for a long time.
Loren demands to know if Anfisa loves Jorge if she just fell in love with his money.
"There is no way that you can look at them and say that they were truly in love," Loren tells the camera.
Loren then describes Anfisa as fake, saying that she looks at her and just sees "a bunch of Botox."
Jorge describes how he felt a connection to Anfisa, and defends their relationship as it began:
"When I had money, everything was cool."
This issue is personal for Loren, as she and her husband Alexei struggled to acquire his Green Card. Loren laments that Alex was denied a Green Card twice, while Anfisa got hers within just two months.
"That"s not fair," Loren says, arguing that couples who truly love each other should be allowed to be together.
She"s not wrong.
For what it"s worth, during that intervention, Paola and Russ seem to look on with amusement.
So maybe the two of them finally manage to work past their issues.
Paola even seems to pitch in, asking if Anfisa is a mail-order bride and then assuring Jorge that Anfisa isn"t even all that pretty.
It sounds like Paola thinks that he could do better.
That"s probably something that he needs to hear.

Luann de Lesseps and Tom D’Agostino are divorcing. Officially. After their short, short marriage, they’re not trying a trial separation but just ripping off the bandaid.
It’s such a sorry situation for Luann that even Bethenny Frankel feels sorry for her. And Bethenny Frankel isn’t exactly what you’d call a bleeding heart.
Apparently, things aren’t so hard on Tom D’Agostino. And, to absolutely no one’s surprise, Tom is reportedly already back to dating.
Hey, so, remember when Tom D’Agostino spoke to Us Weekly and told them that he and Luann had a lot of love between them and had no plans to split?
Well … we don’t want to be mean and say womp womp, but that sure didn’t last.
As it turns out, cheating on your fiance right before your engagement party doesn’t usually spell success for your marriage.
Basically everyone had warned Luann, but if she was a fool to marry Tom, then she was a fool who wanted to believe that love could conquer all obstacles and overcome any issues in their relationship.
There are worse dumb things to believe.
Overall, it seemed, Tom D’Agostino just had a wandering eye, and wandering other parts, and wasn’t going to let a little thing like marriage to a beautiful celebrity like Luann hold him back.
(It sounds like he might have some impulse-control issues, with a severe case of basically being immune to consequences and the entitlement that comes with that)
So, given that he was reportedly getting around during his engagement and marriage to Luann, it’s not really a shock to hear that he’s already back to dating openly.
Us Weekly reports that Tom D’Agostino is
“Tom has been seeing a few of the women in his life, including Missy, but hasn’t rebounded with anyone in particular yet.”
That’s a reference to his ex-girlfriend, Missy Tool.
Us Weekly says that another source insists that Missy and Tom are “just friends.”
Overall, though, that sounds pretty consistent with Tom, though we’d point out that seeing a bunch of different women is fine … when you’re single.

“He didn’t want to do any interviews until he sees Luann’s sit-down with Andy to see if she bad-mouths him. Tom is really trying to take the high road with the divorce.”
Tom and Luann filed jointly for divorce, so it makes sense for them to try to be amicable.
There was a rumor floating around towards the end of their marriage …
(Though the eight-month marriage was so brief that any part of it could also be said to be “right at the beginning”)
… That Luann had struck Tom, slapping him in a restaurant. That sounded a lot like domestic violence.
When asked about it, Luann had stated that she had grabbed his face during their conversation. That’s not okay either, but a lot less alarming.
Tom’s rumored cheating plagued their relationship almost from the beginning, to the point where it became a storyline on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Tom is said to have grown tired of his newfound spotlight and celebrity status that came with marrying a Real Housewife, though … many imagine that the true impetus behind the divorce was the cheating.
We wonder if Tom has ever considered that he should be in an open relationship?
If he wants the affection and stability of a committed partner but also wants to be free to hook up with different women, that’s totally possible.
Polyamorous relationships can take a lot of forms, and the simplest of them is a couple that’s in an open relationship where both partners love and support each other but also know that they don’t need to sneak around if they hook up with a coworker or friend or a stranger in a bar.
Of course, for some people, it’s not that they just don’t like exclusivity — there are people who get a thrill from cheating and prefer things that way. That is something very different.
Honestly, we just want Luann and Tom to be able to move on and live their best lives.
And not repeat past mistakes.
Leah Messer Opens Up About Struggles With Drug-Addicted Father
Leah Messer has suffered more than her share of hardships during her time on Teen Mom 2.
Of course, all of her struggles took place under the glaring spotlight of reality television, which means that her biggest failures were likely compounded by intense feelings of embarrassment.
Leah seems to have felt that humiliation most acutely in the days when she was struggling with an addiction to prescription painkillers.
At what may have been her low point, Messer nodded off while holding a small child.
Leah has consistently refused to publicly acknowledge that she struggled with addiction, and the reason for that is likely the stigma that continues to surround substance dependency in America.
Sadly, Leah is far from alone in what is no doubt an ongoing struggle, and for a reminder of just how pervasive an issue addiction truly is, she doesn’t need to look beyond her own family.
As she’s stated in the past, Leah’s father is an addict, and she’s been open about her decision to cut ties with him as a result of his issues.
She’s reportedly gone years without any communication with her father, but he still reaches out to her from time to time.
His most recent attempt at a reconciliation apparently came yesterday.
Leah tweeted about the ordeal to her 1.4 million followers, revealing that she couldn’t bring herself to answer her father’s phone call.
“When your dad calls and you haven’t heard from him in quite some time,” she tweeted.
“Do you answer or let your voicemail do the talking?”
By way of explaining her refusal to pick up the phone, Leah continued:
“It’s the same thing every call. Maybe this time he really is going to choose life over death. All I can do is [pray].”
So we assume that the elder Messer only calls his daughter when he’s looking to borrow money.
If that’s the case, then Leah’s situation is even sadder than we thought, and her decision to cut ties with her fsther is imminently understandable.
But if his situation provided her with the inspiration to sober up for her kids, then at least there’s a silver lining to this incredibly dark cloud.

Jenelle Evans is no stranger to fighting.
It’s basically her number one pastime.
She fights with her mom, she fights with her boyfriends, she fights with her toddler when he just won’t sit still, be quiet and behave like your average two-year-old.
She fights with her boyfriends’ new girlfriends, with her friends, with strangers on the internet …
Basically, if you are around Jenelle at all, either physically or virtually, there’s a good chance she will fight you.
And we’re seeing that now, thanks to her brand new feud with Randy Houska.
Randy is Chelsea Houska’s father, and he’s a lovable guy. He’s definitely one of the best grandparents in the Teen Mom franchise.
We love him because he’s always been so supportive of Chelsea, in whatever way she needs, and it’s such a nice contrast to some of the other moms’ relationships with their parents.
Also, we love him because he’s a bit of a gossip.
He frequently comments on big Teen Mom stories on Twitter, and he often live-tweets episodes of Teen Mom 2.
He did it for this week’s episode … and that’s how he made the unfortunate mistake of crossing Jenelle.
Randy, along with the rest of us, watched Jenelle get into a screaming match with her mother, Barbara, right in front of Jace and some other kids.
It was uncomfortable to watch, to say the least.
“It is good to scream at each other in front of kids,” Randy tweeted about the situation. “It teaches them great things.”
When Jenelle saw the tweet, she reasonably responded with “Hey fat f-ck, I am so sick of you commenting on my life. Go tend to your own family. You don’t know a f-cking thing I’ve been through.”
She added the middle finger emoji, because Jenelle is nothing if not classy.
When a follower told her to chill, she wrote “I don’t give two sh-ts anymore. Not any other parent comments about me negatively except Randy. Nothing positive, EVER.”
If he doesn’t say anything positive, then maybe she needs to consider that she doesn’t give him a lot to work with?
“If my mom wasn’t involved then there wouldn’t be issues, anger or tension,” she added. “The love and compassion would be the vibes.”
… Is she seriously trying to say that she only yells when her mother is involved? Because that’s the biggest fib of all the fibs.
Jenelle has deleted her tweets about Randy, but don’t think it’s because she realized how awful she was being.
Because, in a new interview with Radar Online, she doubled down on her criticism of Randy.
“I wish he would stop,” she said. “He doesn’t know me or what I have to deal with when it comes to my mom.”
“Yes, of course my mom brings out the worst in me so we are bound to argue sometimes, but it’s gotten better and everything is a lot more calmer on my end.”
She keeps failing to realize that Randy had an excellent point with his tweet — it’s awful how much Jenelle and Barbara fight and scream in front of Jace.
But instead of saying anything like that, she decided to lash out in the worst way.
“He should be more focused on Aubree being ignored, since all they show is me yelling and if that’s true and that’s all we do 24/7 … then I guess MTV is true about Aubree being ignored since Watson was born,” she said.
Hold up.
Did Jenelle seriously just bring Aubree into her feud with Randy? Why would she ever think that’s a good idea? Ever?
Chelsea has complained about how her scenes are being edited this season, and she’s made it clear that she’s very upset with how MTV has made it look like she’s ignoring Aubree.
Instead of acting like that’s true, even sarcastically, Jenelle should sympathize with her — after all, no one has complained about MTV editing more than she has.
But we have to remember, this is Jenelle Evans we’re talking about. We can’t expect her to make sense.
In the interview, she insisted that “The only time I’m angry is if my mom comes around.”
“I’m not as bad as a person Randy thinks, but if he wants to spend his time checking Twitter daily like it’s his job, then so be it. He’s just now another creepy Teen Mom troll in my book.”
“Maybe that’s why Aubree is ignored … his attention is dedicated to Twitter, not his family,” she added.
“He just makes it look like I’m psycho. He never has anything nice to say and I don’t say a damn thing about him. I don’t get it.”
Poor Jenelle even said that Randy “ruined” a date night with David Eason because he was “making me cry because I was so upset by him making these comments over the years.”
She claims that her MTV producer texted her “telling me he was extremely sorry for Randy’s actions and agreed it was wrong and will be reaching out to him about his behavior.”
Yeah, we’re sure that happened.
Even with all the feuding between the Teen Mom cast members that has happened over the years, it’s very, very rare for someone to bring up one of the children, for any reason.
It’s just not done.
And although Chelsea hasn’t directly commented on Jenelle’s accusations about Aubree, she did make a pretty telling move on Twitter.
After Jenelle’s interview was published, someone tweeted to her “The fact that you are proud of yourself for dragging Aubree, a child, into your argument is sad. You really are pathetic.”
Chelsea liked that tweet.
We’d advise Jenelle to do better, but, well, you know. If she hasn’t done better by now …
Jana Duggar: Wedding Dress Shopping!! (For Joe & Kendra)
Jana Duggar is forever a bridesmaid, never a bride … and boy will she have a lot of bridesmaid dresses by the time all is said and done.
The next member of the Duggar family to tie the knot will presumably be Joseph, who is eyeing this fall for his wedding to Kendra Caldwell.
Just minutes after Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth’s wedding, Joseph popped the question to Kendra to become next in line.
Previously, Joe bumped out Jedidiah Duggar – his own brother – to make a move on Kendra, but that’s neither here nor there right now.
In any case, they’re looking into October for their wedding date, and naturally, they’ve enlisted Jana Duggar to help with the preparations.
You’d think that between doing Michelle’s housework, taking care of her siblings and Jana raising Josh Duggar’s kids, she’d have a full plate.
Might as well pile more on though, right? She lives for this!
Jana and her twin, John David Duggar, accompanied the future newlyweds to Kentucky to score a dress for Kendra’s monumetal occasion.
Jana, John David (their personal pilot) and their mother Michelle Duggar all joined in to help a girl out, and pose with some fans of course.
The eldest daughter of Michelle and Jim Bob, 27-year-old Jana has never been engaged, despite being engaged in all the family activities.
Recent rumors of Jana Duggar courting a family friend got the fan base all kinds of fired up, but both families actually shot that one down.
You know Jana’s love life is a topic of great interest when people actually go on record talking about it. That’s not likely to change, either.
Just because she’s single doesn’t mean it’s for lack of interest, and the fact that Jana has rejected multiple men simply adds to the mystery.
For now, though, she’s back in a familiar spot.
You can expect Kendra’s wedding dress shopping will be front and center when you watch Counting On online this fall on TLC.
Jana, a fan favorite, obviously doesn’t have a wedding of her own to plan, or a relationship to devote time to, so she’ll be there.
Fans were happy to see her on social media.
“Jana is beautiful,” one fan said beneath the photo above. “She always looks great. John David looks more out [sic] together than usual.”
Another wrote, “Jana knows how to dress.”
Yes. Yes she does. And to bite her tongue. One can only imagine what she must be feeling given her role in this famous family and in life.
As always, she will assume her usual place on the back burner for the most part as Joseph and Kendra prepare to tie the knot.
“We are super excited,” the couple said to People earlier this summer. “It’s great to not be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!”
Joseph described his proposal thusly:
“I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘I’m just waiting on you!’”
Many members of Duggar Nation also thought they might receive news of a Joy-Anna or Jinger pregnancy on the September 11 premiere.
So much for that. Joy-Anna is pregnant with her first child, she announced yesterday, just three months after marrying Austin Forsyth.
With Jessa and Jill both welcoming their second kids within the past year, there will be no shortage of storylines for producers this fall.

Joy-Anna Duggar Got Pregnant Before Marriage, Doctor Claims
If you’re a fan of the Duggar clan, then you’ve likely heard by now that Joy-Anna Duggar is expecting her first child.
We don’t know Joy-Anna’s due date, but there’s been plenty of speculation based on the below photo of her rather sizable baby bump.
Joy-Anna married Austin Forsyth back in May, and many fans have conjectured that she got pregnant during her honeymoon in Switzerland.
But not surprisingly, there are those who believe Joy-Anna is keeping mum about her due date because she’s farther along than she’d have us believe.
The Duggars, of course, take a hard line stance against premarital sex, forbidding unmarried couples from engaging in any physical contact beyond hand-holding.
Reports about Joy-Anna and Austin breaking the rules of courtship cropped up several times during the early days of their relationship, and now Joy-Anna’s bump is being cited as proof that the Duggars aren’t practicing what they preach.
Of course, every pregnancy is different, and in any case, it’s difficult to tell how far along an expectant mother is on the basis of a single photo.
So the folks at Radar Online took the investigation into Joy-Anna’s pregnancy a step further by consulting with National Enquirer Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Stuart Fischer.
After examining the photo for himself, Dr. Fischer decisively concluded that Joy-Anna is “four or five months pregnant.”
It’s important to point out that Dr. Fischer has never treated Joy-Anna, and his observation is based only on the image she posted to Instagram.
Since Joy-Anna and Austin tied the knot on May 26, if she’s as far along as Dr. Fischer claims, the Duggars would certainly have some explaining to do.
In all likelihood, most of the family’s fans don’t care if young people engage in premarital sex, and they’ve already demonstrated a willingness to forgive the family for some pretty egregious misconduct.
(It’s hard to imagine any other famous family surviving something like the Josh Duggar sex scandal.)
But another instance of the Duggars misleading their fans in order to maintain their wholesome image could still prove damaging.
By now, we’re well aware that version of the Duggars that appears on television is only loosely based on the reality of their day-to-day lives.
Still, like professional wrestling fans, reality television viewers want the illusion to be maintained as convincingly as possible.
If the Duggar slip-ups keep piling up, at some point ratings will decline right alongside the family’s credibility.

Aaron Rodgers FINALLY Talks About His Olivia Munn Breakup!
Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn broke up earlier this year, and just when rumors were circulating that the two might become engaged after dating for three years.
The two have been reluctant, at best, to talk about the reason behind the split.
But Aaron Rodgers gave an interview and he talked about relationship struggles. And yes, he even talked about why he and Olivia Munn split.
Aaron Rodgers is a sportsball player — a football quarterback, specifically.
He became part of the Green Bay Packers about a decade ago and led his team to victory at the 2011 Superbowl.
Normally, we’d refer to the Superbowl as “that big football game before and after [whichever celebrity]’s concert,” but the Black Eyed Peas played at Halftime that year.
So it wasn’t a Left Shark situation where the Superbowl was super memorable. No wardrobe malfunctions and no Beyonce.
Anyway, Olivia Munn actually drew criticism during her relationship with Aaron for “distracting” him and this impeding his performance on the field.
That’s absurd, obviously.
Those rumors died down when Aaron Rodgers’ performance improved on the field and people could no longer blame Olivia Munn for, like, leeching his strength through sorcery or whatever it is that they thought was happening.
Olivia Munn is an actress, perhaps best known for portraying fan-favorite mutant Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse last summer (the film was entertaining and beautiful but not … not good, but we’d say that Olivia Munn did a more than decent job in the role).
She was also a correspondent on The Daily Show for a while, back during the Jon Stewart days.
The two broke up in April and basically said nothing except that the split was amicable.
With no solid answers or official statements to explain what happened to the couple that had seemed on the cusp of marrying, what were people to do but speculate?
Some wondered if Aaron Rodgers may have cheated on Olivia Munn.
Honestly, a lot of relationships end because of cheating.
Aaron Rodgers’ estrangement from his family became well-publicized after his brother, Jordan Rodgers, appeared on and then won JoJo Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.
Though fans of that couple worried that they’d split after JoJo and Jordan briefly unfollowed each other on social media, they are still together.
Just this week, JoJo surprised Jordan for his birthday.
Some of Aaron Rodgers’ family believed that Aaron was distant from them because of Olivia Munn — because, again, people want to see her as some sort of sorceress responsible for everything about Aaron that they don’t like.
The truth is more complicated and involves “family issues,” according to Aaron, who has always seemed reluctant to go into detail. That could mean all sorts of things, but … a lot of families are screwed up.
So one point of speculation about his split was that perhaps Aaron Rodgers dropped Olivia Munn to reunite with his family. That doesn’t appear to have been the case.
Now, at least, Aaron is willing to talk about it.
In an interview with ESPN The Magazine, Aaron Rodgers discussed the problems with dating while famous.
And yes, Olivia Munn came up.
First, though, they eased him onto the topic by asking about the challenges that come with dating while famous.
“Decreased privacy. And increased strain or pressure or stress associated with relationships. Friendships and dating relationships.”
That sounds about right.
It’s good that he mentions that it’s a burden on friendships as well as romantic relationships.
“When you are living out a relationship in the public eye, it’s definitely … it’s difficult.”
Yep.
Then they asked Aaron, point-blank, if all of that was in play with his breakup with Olivia Munn.
And he answered.
“It has some extra constraints, because you have other opinions about your relationship, how it affects your work and, you know, just some inappropriate connections.”
It sounds like part of that, at least, is a jab at his fans — who seemed to blame Olivia for all that ails the world.
Part of that might also be a jab at his family, because whatever the extent of Aaron’s issues with the Rodgers family, Olivia Munn was a sore point for some of them involved.
We’ll probably never know the whole story. Aaron kept that vague and very general on purpose.
Maybe one day, when they’re both feeling less raw about it, they’ll tell their story.
For now, it sounds like a factor behind their split was just the constant chatter about them.

Spencer Pratt: BLASTS Lauren Conrad and Caitlyn Jenner, Makes a Total Ass of Himself
In case anyone needs a reminder, podcasts are totally public. If you’re a celebrity and you go on a podcast and make a total ass of yourself, people are going to find out.
If you come across as a bigot, even if you didn’t mean to, it is not going to stay a secret.
Spencer Pratt seems to have forgotten that, because — on top of bashing Lauren Conrad and then asking why she doesn’t want to work with him — he said some truly unacceptable things about Caitlyn Jenner.
You know, the recent Spencer Pratt has been relatively well-behaved.
Don’t get us wrong, he’s still the guy who blew through millions of dollars in a frighteningly short amount of time.
(That was a collaborative effort between him and Heidi)
But he’s been doing so well. He and Heidi Montag are expecting their first child.
That’s a huge milestone for the legendary reality couple.
(At seven months, Heidi Montag’s baby bump was ginormous! And Heidi is coming up on eight months, now)
It’s seemed like they’ve settled into being people who set realistic goals, instead of people who respond to dwindling finances by spending six figures on crystals because they hope that the energies or vibrations or whatever will restore their bank accounts.
He still likes them. But hey, who doesn’t?
Unfortunately, Spencer recently sat down for an interview for the podcast, Allegedly With Theo Von & Matthew Cole Weiss.
Spencer Pratt bashes Lauren Conrad, talks about Scientology and Ryan Gosling, discusses his unborn child’s potential dating life … and says some almost unrepeatable things about Caitlyn Jenner.
First, you know how some celebrities accept some nice financial incentives to let a magazine do some exclusive photos — of a wedding or, say, of their new baby?
Spencer and Heidi haven’t gotten any kind of lucrative photo deal, and Spencer blames Lauren Conrad.
“Well Lauren Conrad just blew it for us, having the worst selling magazine cover in the history of the publication. She killed our numbers. She’s supposed to be the queen of The Hills, so all our money just went way down because of her.”
Lauren Conrad’s People cover sold very poorly, it’s true.
“I would rather taken no money to have that happen to her so it’s a win regardless.”
Wow that is spiteful.
You may remember that the conflict between Lauren Conrad and her former friends became a central storyline on The Hills for years until Lauren left.
Apparently Spencer is still feeling that resentment, after all of these years.
Spencer’s explanation for why Lauren Conrad won’t do a reunion with them is, in light of his bitterness, pretty interesting.
“Some people don’t want to share any shine, they’d rather sit on their Instagram account.”
Maybe Lauren Conrad doesn’t want to interact with someone who can’t stand her.
Also, maybe Lauren Conrad didn’t hemorrhage money left and right and is estimated to be worth something like $ 25 million today.
She doesn’t need to do a reunion special if she doesn’t want to.
Spencer says that he’d be okay if his unborn child grows up and wants to date Lauren’s son, Liam.
“If he wants to date Liam, that’s up to him. I personally will be targeting Kristin Cavallari’s $ 100 million + daughter for my son. Kristin, I’ll be such a good in-law!”
Okay, that’s funny. And a nice blow to heteronormativity. A lot of parents just assume that their kid will be straight by default, and they set themselves up for a surprise.
(To be clear, we don’t think that Spencer and Heidi are actually planning to raise their kid to be a gold-digger)
Spencer Pratt says that he and Ryan Gosling used to be neighbors who hung out, and that Ryan Gosling told him some chilling tales about Scientology.
“He told me a story about Scientology that has stuck with me for years. Let’s just say it involved people not surviving heavy shit and I was like, oh wow, this is not something to joke about.”
To be clear, we don’t know where Ryan Gosling would have heard these stories, except perhaps from ex-Scientologists. But we’ve read enough horrific accounts about that organization to never be surprised at what we hear.
Spencer gets really awful now, so … brace yourselves.
He not only deadnames Caitlyn Jenner, but also misgenders her — as if he’d just awoken from a two-year coma.
“I’m Team Kris Jenner. I was Team Brody. Bruce is like the worst person ever. He wouldn’t even call Brody on his birthday and he was in the valley. It’s not like he was in the Czech Republic. He was always bad as a human from what I saw as Brody’s best friend. I had heard he had gotten hormone injections and all that but to me I was like, whatever, maybe that’s Tuesday.”
It’s incredibly rude to misgender someone or use their deadname, even if you’re talking about why they suck. And even if you’re talking about them before they transitioned or before they came out.
Caitlyn is a woman. You can say that she was a piss-poor parent without disrespecting her gender and that of every other trans woman on the planet.
Maybe worst of all is Spencer’s commentary about Caitlyn’s reasons for transitioning or … something.
“It was so back in the day and I loved titties so much, I thought maybe he just wanted titties to rub on, like his own titties, I don’t know. He was a ghost.”
In case it needs to be said, trans women who get top surgery don’t do so because, um, they love boobs so much that they want to touch them.
Part of it is about being able to dress and be perceived as they want to.
Many (though not all) trans woman also experience dysphoria, where their bodies feel wrong until they have top surgery and then things feel like they’ve settled into place, as they should be.
Spencer doesn’t mean anything cruel by this, we think.
He’s probably just still the same idiot we saw on The Hills.
On a brighter note, Spencer and Heidi might be coming back to reality television.
“My own show, the paperwork’s signed. We’ll see if it ever goes onto an actual … one thing I’ve learned about networks is they’ll pay you and maybe the show [will never happen]. I’ve now been paid for two shows, whole seasons, that never went.”
Yep. That’s how scripts and projects end up in limbo or development hell.
A network might think that something’s good enough that they won’t let anyone else do it, but not necessarily good enough to actually develop.
Oh, and Spencer and Heidi don’t have a sex tape. He says that he’d be willing to do one now for $ 10 million.
We’ll just … pass on that.

While she’s never been arrested or spent time in jail or developed a serious drug addiction or started a career in porn like some of her fellow Teen Moms, she’s definitely had her problems.
This year, her main thing was having her third baby with her third baby daddy, something that has — surprise! — turned out to be a little bit of a mess.
She had her baby at the beginning of this month, and he’s very precious and she seems just as happy as can be to have another child.
But still … the drama.
All throughout her pregnancy, we heard that the baby’s father, Chris Lopez, was kind of a fling for Kailyn, and he didn’t stick around after he knocked her up.
Some reports even claimed that he wanted nothing to do with her or their baby, and she seemed to confirm that herself.
In these weeks after Baby Lo’s arrival, Chris has stepped up a little bit, but rumor has it that he’s still struggling with the idea of being a dad.
And, according to one especially alarming rumor, Chris’ mother may be trying to force the role on him by urging him to go for full custody of Baby Lo.
“Chris has no desire to try and take his kid away from Kailyn,” the insider who first revealed this development claims, “but his mom is concerned about visitation rights.”
Not only that, his mother is also concerned about Kailyn’s “lifestyle,” as well as “the fact that she has three children from three fathers.”
Apparently “Chris’ mom really wants Baby Lo to be raised by her family and standards.”
Even though Chris, who we assume was “raised by her family and standards,” chose to impregnate this woman she’s looking down on — and he also nearly abandoned her.
But that’s none of our business.
So if we’re to believe this report, Kaliyn is caring for Baby Lo mostly on her own while also caring for her two other sons, and now she has to worry about all this.
And according to this update on the custody situation from Hollywood Life, she is really, really worrying.
“Kailyn is so shocked and disgusted that Chris would even consider trying for custody,” a source claims. “It’s unbelievable to her.”
“She truly thinks he would never take things to that level, but just the threat of losing her baby is enough to send her into a tailspin right now.”
Poor Kailyn “still has a lot of pregnancy hormones surging through her body,” and “she’s feeling very emotional and vulnerable.”
“Plus she’s looking after a newborn as well as two other kids, so she’s exhausted and sleep deprived.”
She has said that she chose to get pregnant with Chris, so really she should have known that things could get this messy.
But still, it sounds like a terrible situation, and we can’t help but feel sorry for her.
As the insider continues, “Kailyn’s an awesome mom,” and “she’s proved that” — which is true.
She’s definitely made some mistakes and more than a few questionable choices, but Isaac and Lincoln are both happy, healthy, darling little kids, and she had a whole lot to do with that.
Thankfully, the source also says that “Although she hasn’t got her parents in her life, she does have a strong support network around her.”
“None of Kailyn’s friends think it’s a possibility, and they keep reminding her to stay strong and just focus on her children.”
“But that said,” the source goes on, “it’s still really upsetting and frightening and it’s really the very last thing she needs to be dealing with right now.”
Smartly, “Kailyn’s trying to defuse the situation by throwing love at it.”
“She’s being super sweet to Chris’ mom and trying to involve her as much as she can in the baby’s life, and hoping that by doing so she’ll come around and see what a great mom Kailyn actually is.”
