Tori Roloff Opens Up About Marriage to Zach: I Always Have to Reach the High Shelf!

Little People, Big World star Tori Roloff is a wonderful mother to her adorable baby, Jackson.

But she’s also an amazing wife to her husband. In fact, she posted the ultimate anniversaty tribute to Zach earlier this year.

Now, she’s opening up to fans about how her husband’s dwarfism impacts their marriage. She gets very honest.

On Monday night, Tori Roloff took to Instagram for a no-holds-barred Q&A with her fans and followers.

Seriously, no topic was off-limits.

Tori gushed about having found an entire community of little people through her husband, Zach Roloff.

Tori wrote that she is “so blessed that I’ve made such amazing friends in the dwarf community.”

(Disclaimer: some little people are totally onboard with the dwarf label while others are emphatically not)

Tori went on to speak about how Zach’s dwarfism impacts their relationship.

It turns out that the effect is not as great as some people have assumed.

Tori is quick to shoot down the misconception that his dwarfism is a “limitation” within their marriage.

She does say that the biggest impact is that she has “asked to reach the high shelf a lot.”

That sort of thing can happen in a lot of marriages where there’s a height difference.

Tori says that things go smoothly so long as neither of them are trying to be a different height than they really are.

“To me it feels weird to crouch,” Tori confesses.

“And,” she adds. “Zach always told me to stand.”

“I’m not trying to be shorter and he’s not trying to be taller,” she notes.

Any relationship is going to be healthier while both parties agree to be exactly who they are.

“I love my husband for his heart not his height,” Tori affirms. “Love is love is love.”

She’s right — and it’s good that she makes it clear that she is not a “chaser.”

That is, she is not someone who fetishizes him for his dwarfism.

She loves Zach for who he is, neither for nor despite his height.

That is just as it should be.

She also speaks about baby Jackson, and this is when she starts talking science and genetics with her followers.

“It’s a dominant gene,” she explains. “So you only have the gene if you are an achon.”

(How many other reality stars can hold their own in a conversations about hereditary traits and genetics?)

“They do all carry the gene for dyostraphic,” Tori continues.

“But,” she notes. “Their partner would also have to carry the gene to have children with dyostraphic dwarfism.”

Fans ask how she feels about the very real possibility that sweet baby Jackson might need to undergo surgeries, like his father and grandfather.

Tori says that “of course” the idea of that scares her.

“There’s no telling,” Tori admits.

Tori then notes: “but we’re blessed to have no health issues so far.”

“But we have so much support and love,” Tori says. “And I know we’ll handle anything God throws at us.”

Right now, she’s more worried about the bumps and bruises that Jackson is very naturally getting as he learns to walk.

Tori and Zach Roloff: 14 Things You Probably Didn"t Know About Us

Tori and Zach Roloff star on a reality television show that documents their lives.

But still.

How well do you feel like you really know these Little People, Big World stars?

The couple manages to be an open book, but it also manages to NOT reveal every single chapter of their story.

With this in mind, we"re put together a list of facts and tidbits that may surprise even the most ardent of Zach and Tori followers.

Were you aware of each of the items listed below?

1. Tori Worked at Roloff Farms!

Adorable on thanksgiving

It’s true. She met Zach because she was hired in 2010 to help out with the very busy pumpkin season. “A coworker told me, ‘Zachary really thinks you’re cute, but doesn’t think you’ll ever go out with him,"” Tori once told People.

2. It Was Love at First Sight

Jackson tori and zach

Or close to it, at least. “Our first date lasted five hours, and we’ve been together ever since,” Tori told People in this same interview. How sweet, right?

3. Tori Was Zach’s First

Roloffs on xmas eve

His first GIRLFRIEND, that is. We can’t speak on anything else. But Zach once told People that he “never really dated” before meeting his wife.

4. The Couple Got Married on TV!

Roloff wedding day

TLC aired the 2015 ceremony; which, of course, was attended by all of Zach’s famous loved ones. “My parents played a huge role in setting up the farm, making it all nice,” said Zach back then, while Tori added: “Matt planted a bunch of wheat fields behind the gazebo. There’s like these huge rolling hills of wheat, which are really beautiful.”

5. Tori’s Maiden Name is Patton

Nothing too groundbreaking here, we’re just guessing most people didn’t know this.

6. Tori Cried While Reciting Her Vows

Tori zach and jackson roloff

“I commit myself to you, body and soul,” Tori said on her wedding day, promising her new husband “neck rubs” and to try and be a “less picky eater,” while making US cry by concluding: “You are my light Zachary, I cannot wait to see what God has in store for us.”

Zach Roloff Gets Accused of Endangering His Son

Irritating, cruel and judgmental people on the Internet are on the attack once again.

And this time, Zach Roloff is the target.

As part of his recent visit to his mother’s native state of Michigan, Zach shared an adorable photo of his son on Instagram this week.

It featured Jackson sitting peacefully on his own on the beach, chilling in front of the water, seemingly contemplating life and all that lies in front of him.

At least that’s how we interpreted this image.

Who would look at this snapshot and think it was anything but precious, cute and even artistic?

The sad answer? A large number of people on the World Wide Web.

“Kind of too close to the water for that baby by himself,” one idiotic person wrote as a comment to the photo.

“I hope someone was closer by,” added another moron.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time total strangers have looked at a harmless picture of Jackson and formed a harsh and critical opinion of his parents based on it.

Back in April, a handful of followers freaked out in equally dumb fashion after Roloff was photographed on a tractor, young son on his lap.

It had to eventually be clarified that the tractor was not on and that Zach, of course, had the safety of his offspring at the forefront of his mind at all times.

We hate that it needs to be said, but Zach and Tori have never given Little People, Big World fans any reason to doubt they aren’t loving and dedicated parents.

“Being a dad’s been great. Jackson’s the cutest little thing,” Zach said on an episode of his family’s reality shiw this spring, adding on air:

“I would love to have, like, a little pack. I definitely want to have more kids.”

His wife, Tori, has subsequently made it pretty clear that a second child will be on the way at some point in the near future.

“We def want to expand our family soon,” she told a social media followers who asked about her baby-making plans last month.

Thankfully, there are a bunch of level-headed folks out there who rushed to Zach’s defense after trolls tried to make him feel guilty for the Jackson back picture.

“Beautiful pic. Only a–holes would worry. These parents are on the case. Stop finding things to b– about,” one of these defenders wrote, while another remarked:

“OMG the baby is 2 feet away from his parents OH NO! PANIC!!! [Shake my head] Stop the lame comments. This kid is fine.”

And then there was this comment:

“People need to understand Zach and Tori are not going to set there and let something happen to there baby.

“Fans need to quit making things seem worse than what it is that’s how crap gets started so fan’s please keep your opinion too to your self please don’t.”

Amen.

Tori and Zach Roloff Adopt Puppy (And You Know What This Means!)

Tori and Zach Roloff have expanded their family.

No, not in the way you might be thinking or hoping.

Not yet at least.

Late this week, Tori presented maybe the cutest picture in the history of the Internet to her Instagram followers, posing with a brand new dog Murphy.

“Guess what?!?! world: meet Murphy! We are so excited to bring this friend home. Our world just got a little crazier,” wrote the TLC star as away to introduce the puppy to fans.

Murphy, who is absolutely frickin adorable, is a Bernese Mountain Dog; just like the canine Tori and Zach lost last year, Sully.

His inclusion in this beloved immediate family has been met with the requisite ooooh’s and aaaaah’s by Little People, Big World followers.

Partly because he is so precious, yes.

But also partly because of what his adoption may mean for the couple.

Already parents to a one-year old son named Jackson, Tori and Zach will have at least one more child.

This much is clear.

On a recent episode of Little People, Big World, Zach made it clear that he would love for Tori to get pregnant right now. He’s ready for another child.

Tori, however? She placed one condition on adding to her gorgeous brood:

They had to get a dog first!

Tori to hilariously tell her husband that “the shop is closed” until this dog is added to their lives, taking away the possibility of another kid entering their universe.

dog and kids

We don’t know if Tori really abided by this funny threat, we just know Murphy is now a Roloff!

“We fully disagree on the dog situation and what child we want next,” Tori said to conclude this segment on the aforementioned episode.

It looks like she got her way, though.

So… are you pregnant again yet, Tori?

Elsewhere, Zach and Tori assured viewers this week that a new Little People, Big World season was on tap and that they would be a part of it.

They wanted to make this clear after Jeremy Roloff confirmed that he and Audrey Roloff were done with the series.

“Back at it,” Tori wrote as a caption to photos of her and Zach, alerting us that filming was already underway on the new season.

“We’re not going anywhere!” Tori announced on her Instagram Story, prior to engaging with fans and responding to some of their inquiries.

Hooray!

This would have been exciting enough before, but now we have more glimpses of Murphy to look forward to as well!

Little People, Big World: Are Tori and Zach Roloff Leaving, Too?

Little People, Big World are reeling right about now.

On Tuesday afternoon, Jeremy Roloff made an announcement that took fans of this TLC franchise by surprise:

He and wife Audrey Roloff will leave the series after this upcoming season.

“It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride,” wrote Jeremy on Instagram, explaining that he and Audrey made the choice to depart about a year ago.

Roloff did say something positive in his heartfelt post, at least:

“We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!”

Will he go on past this season?

And, if so, which family members will be a part of Little People, Big World?

TLC is yet to provide an answer to the first question, but Tori and Zach Roloff has now provided an answer to the second — and it can be summed up by the photo below.

“We’re not going anywhere!” Tori announced on her Instagram Story, prior to engaging with fans and responding to some of their inquiries.

“Will Z & T be staying with LPBW?” one user asked.

“YAS! And J too,” Tori replied, referring to the pair’s son Jackson, whom they welcomed in May 2017.

Elsewhere, a fan asked why the couple has chosen to remain on the show after getting married; sort of an odd question, but one Tori responded to anyway:

“Because we feel like we’re not done telling our story.”

Tori later said that her favorite part of filming is “getting to share our story with our fans.”

TLC has not yet announced whether or not it will bring Little People, Big World back for another season.

We’ve had our doubts of late because Matt Roloff is moving to Arizona and Amy Roloff has expressed some doubt about remaining on the farm.

Zach and Tori, however, have simply been enjoying life as parents for about a year now and recently moved into a new home, one close to the family farm.

They aren’t going anywhere.

The same can’t be said for Jeremy and Audrey, however.

“We’re not disappearing,” Jeremy assured fans in his statement. “We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and are eager to continue the world that the Lord has called us to!”

UPDATE

The cable network has now released a statement of its own, confirming that the show WILL be back in 2019!

“We wish Jeremy, Audrey, and Ember the best, and are excited to continue to keep up with other members of the Roloff family when Little People, Big World returns next year,” TLC says.

Meanwhile, Tori told her more than 700,000 followers that sharing their lives with the television universe can be weird, but the family does not hold back.

At all.

“Our philosophy is if we aren’t willing to share something with others we probably shouldn’t be doing it,” she wrote.

“Plus something we’re going through can ultimately help others (even though that still baffles me today).”

Zach and Tori Roloff are Selling Their Home: What Does It Mean?!?

Little People, Big World…

… Major Changes Ahead?

According to Radar Online, Tori and Zach Roloff are the latest cast members of this popular TLC series to take a significant step toward their future, one that leaves us wondering what it will mean to the future of their program.

Before we wildly speculate, however, this is what has gone down:

Property records indicate that Tori and Zach have placed their Portland-area home on the market.

This residence – which has been featured on Little People, Big World plenty of times – was purchased in 2013 for $ 260,000. And it’s now on sale for $ 429,500.

That would be quite the handsome profit for the reality stars if they sell anywhere close to asking price.

Many questions naturally abound from this news, starting with the following:

Where are Tori and Zach headed?!?

We presume someplace nearby, if only because we’d have heard otherwise if they were planning some huge move far away that would impact both their show and their relationship with their relatives.

But even if it is nearby, we must then wonder:

Why? Why are Tori and Zach moving?

The home that’s now for sale isn’t huge; it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Might they be upgrading to a larger house because they plan on soon having a larger family?

It’s no secret that one-year old son Jackson will have at least one sibling at some point, as Tori and Zach openly discussed the possiiblity on last week’s episode of Little People, Big World.

“We’ll probably be having our second kid here very soon,” Zach told the TLC cameras, visibly stunning his wife, who chimed in as follows:

“Ooh, nope. We’re not having kids for a while. We’re gonna get a dog.”

Later on, Tori admitted she would like to have a daughter, but also said she’s not in a huge rush to do so.

“After Jackson, I definitely want more kids,” she said on air. “But I want like six months to be independent and then I definitely want another one. And I want to get a dog first.”

Jackson was only born last May. The Roloffs certainly have a whole lot of time to wait, be patient and then still have multiple kids down the line.

“Being a dad’s been great. Jackson’s the cutest little thing,” Zach said, clearly anxious to procreate again. “I would love to have a little pack, so I definitely want to have more kids.”

Meanwhile, fans of this long-running TLC program are also curious whether Zach and Tori’s move will impact the series itself at all.

Remember: Matt Roloff is moving to Arizona for part of the year.

And Amy Roloff has admitted that she may sell the farm at some point and start anew with boyfriend Chris Marek.

It’s hard not to be afraid that the end may be near for Little People, Big World.

Zach and Tori have lived in their current home since they got married.

We’ve never seen Amy nor Matt reside anywhere but on their farm.

It makes perfect sense that things would change and evolve and that life would take various family members in various directions.

We’re just curious if this is all leading to the end of one of the most enjoyable reality shows out there. Let’s hope not.

Zach Roloff: Accused of Endangering Precious Little Jackson

Zach Roloff and Tori Roloff may be the least controversial couple on television.

The Little People, Big World stars seem totally and completely in love, both with each other and with their 11-month old son, Jackson.

Heck, Tori has made a point to say that her Instagram feed will be full of positivity, gratitude and light.

What could there possibly be to criticize about the TLC personalities, right?

Apparently some folks on the Internet have taken this question as a challenge, considering Tori just received some negative feedback on a social media post for the first time we can remember.

Earlier this week, the mother of one does what she does so often:

She posted a very sweet photo of Jackson hanging out with his father.

In this case, however, Zach is sitting on a large riding lawn mower and Jackson is on his lap and a bunch of followers were simply NOT having it.

“Hopefully the lawnmower wasn’t moving. If so, seriously consider a helmet for Jackson,” wrote a user named “harper1965” in response to the picture below.

Other similar comments were also listed alongside the image.

Initially, Tori paid these no mind.

She quoted the movie The Greatest Showman in her original caption, writing at the time of sharing:

It’s everything you ever want. It’s everything you ever need. And it’s here right in front of you. This is where you want to be.

However, upon being made aware that a bit of backlash had built up in regard to Jackson’s safety in this set-up, Tori made the unusual step of returning later on to update her caption.

And this is what she added:

“GUYS. THE MOWER WASN’T ON.”

LOL. So there you have it.

Even when folks think they’ve found a reason to drag Tori and Zach, the stars come out and prove these trolls wrong.

Everyone should have known they’d never place Jackson in any sort of danger.

Over the past few weeks instead, Mom and Dad have placed Jackson in nothing but fun situation.

First, as you can see above, Tori gave fans an update on Jackson’s swim lessons.

Then, as you can see below, Tori posted a number of terrific Jackson photos from his very first Easter:

So very precious, right?!?

Jackson turns a year old on May 10 and we simply can’t wait to see what sort of celebration the Roloffs throw for him.

We’re excited to add to the following photo gallery of adorable images.

We started collecting them as soon as Jackson was born and we’re rather proud of how many are included here.

Check them out now!

Zach Roloff Shares Precious Pic with Jackson AND Ember Jean!!

Seeing photos of precious baby Jackson is always a treat. So is seeing pictures of his little cousin, sweet Ember Jean.

As the Little People, Big World stars look forward to 2018, Zach Roloff has been posting sweet photos.

Including one of him with both babies, showing off his pride as a father and an uncle in the sweeted Roloff picture that we’ve seen.

This photo of proud father Zach Roloff with his son, adorable baby Jackson Roloff, is a treasure.

In the photo’s caption, Zach says that the two of them are watching soccer together. Cute!

(As I’m sure you remember, Zach Roloff was enthusiastic about sports as a child, and went into coaching as an adult, so this father-son activity is near and dear to his heart)

But Zach also shared a new photo, and this time, he and Jackson have a very special guest:

Awwww, look at them!

Zach captioned the photo:

“Cousin Ember hanging out with her Cousin Jackson and Uncle Zach.”

Both babies have spent so much time together that they’re no strangers to it.

But getting to see Zach in his role as proud father and proud uncle at the same time? That’s a rare and special photo.

We imagine that part of what may have encouraged the picture was that a number of followers and fans (errantly) assumed that another photo had shown Jackson and Ember side-by-side.

Now, there are a few photos of the two baby cousins together.

But a number of followers commented, some sounding confused, that “Ember” had blonde hair. She didn’t. It was a different baby.

Folks, the Roloffs do have friends and acquaintances who aren’t each other. That’s part of being a person.

We wonder if that got Zach thinking that he should post a new photo of the Roloff cousins — and himself, as a bonus.

Fans were thrilled to see the photo of Zach with the pair of baby cousins, and they added the comments to show it:

“Aww cute cousins!”

The cutest of cousins, in fact.

“Such a cute picture. Just think, [next] Christmas Zach will be chasing them around and you’ll be trying to catch action Jackson for a quick pic..lol”

Honestly, calling a 7-month-old “action Jackson” seems a little premature, but we like the sentiment.

“Zack you look so happy there with your beautiful niece and your handsome son Jackson they are getting so big!”

He does look happy!

“Good luck to you young man many years I’ve seen you all on tv and God bless you and all your family in this world.”

Other fans commented on how naturally Zach has “taken to” the babies.

Of course, another “fan” commented about Zach’s sex life. We’re sure that the suggestion came with the best of intentions, but … boundaries, dude.

Some fans believe that family black sheep Jacob Roloff may be expecting his own child. If so, Zach will be a double-uncle (okay, still just an uncle) and the photo opportunities will get even better.

Though, as one of those commenters warned, these babies aren’t going to be sitting still for long.

We need to enjoy these pics while they’re still easy to take.
