Tori and Zach Roloff Adopt Puppy (And You Know What This Means!)

Tori and Zach Roloff have expanded their family.

No, not in the way you might be thinking or hoping.

Not yet at least.

Late this week, Tori presented maybe the cutest picture in the history of the Internet to her Instagram followers, posing with a brand new dog Murphy.

“Guess what?!?! world: meet Murphy! We are so excited to bring this friend home. Our world just got a little crazier,” wrote the TLC star as away to introduce the puppy to fans.

Murphy, who is absolutely frickin adorable, is a Bernese Mountain Dog; just like the canine Tori and Zach lost last year, Sully.

His inclusion in this beloved immediate family has been met with the requisite ooooh’s and aaaaah’s by Little People, Big World followers.

Partly because he is so precious, yes.

But also partly because of what his adoption may mean for the couple.

Already parents to a one-year old son named Jackson, Tori and Zach will have at least one more child.

This much is clear.

On a recent episode of Little People, Big World, Zach made it clear that he would love for Tori to get pregnant right now. He’s ready for another child.

Tori, however? She placed one condition on adding to her gorgeous brood:

They had to get a dog first!

Tori to hilariously tell her husband that “the shop is closed” until this dog is added to their lives, taking away the possibility of another kid entering their universe.

We don’t know if Tori really abided by this funny threat, we just know Murphy is now a Roloff!

“We fully disagree on the dog situation and what child we want next,” Tori said to conclude this segment on the aforementioned episode.

It looks like she got her way, though.

So… are you pregnant again yet, Tori?

Elsewhere, Zach and Tori assured viewers this week that a new Little People, Big World season was on tap and that they would be a part of it.

They wanted to make this clear after Jeremy Roloff confirmed that he and Audrey Roloff were done with the series.

“Back at it,” Tori wrote as a caption to photos of her and Zach, alerting us that filming was already underway on the new season.

“We’re not going anywhere!” Tori announced on her Instagram Story, prior to engaging with fans and responding to some of their inquiries.

Hooray!

This would have been exciting enough before, but now we have more glimpses of Murphy to look forward to as well!

Cole DeBoer: Should He Adopt Chelsea Houska"s Daughter?

Chelsea Houska is undoubtedly one of the most beloved moms in the entire Teen Mom franchise, if not the most beloved.

When the franchise features people like Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham, it’s not that difficult to be a favorite, but still.

Chelsea gets a lot of love because she has her life together, and because she’s adorable, with adorable family to match.

She’s never been arrested, she’s not rude and hateful on a regular basis, she’s never neglected her kids.

She’s a good mother, and it’s even more notable since her oldest child’s father is arguably the worst person in Teen Mom history.

Chelsea dated Adam Lind off an on for a good long while when she was younger, and they had little Aubree together, but he was never really a present father.

Since then, Adam has been getting sketchier and sketchier, and last year he failed a court-appointed drug test with a substantial amount of meth in his system.

He was also arrested multiple times for domestic assault, and there have been warrants out for his arrest thanks to his failure to pay child support for both of his children.

It’s a whole lot of bad stuff, basically, and so Chelsea has obtained sole custody of Aubree.

She’s also had Aubree’s last name changed from Lind to Lind-DeBoer, at the request of Aubree herself.

And speaking of her new last name, let’s talk about where it came from: Cole DeBoer, Chelsea’s husband, father of little Watson, and Aubree’s adoring stepfather.

Cole is amazing, right? He’s sweet and very attractive and best of all, he treats Aubree like his very own.

He constantly steps up for her like her real father never does, and he did it again last night.

Because, believe it or not, Adam skipped Aubree’s father-daughter dance. For the third year in a row.

The first time was in 2016 — Aubree was expecting Adam, but he didn’t show up, so Cole took her by himself. Adam later said he couldn’t come because he was training for a bodybuilding competition.

The second time was last year, and there was no mention of Adam at all, Aubree and Cole just went and had a nice time together.

And this year, again, for the third year in a row, Cole and Aubree dressed up and headed out for a lovely little evening.

He shared this adorable photo of her — it looks like he took her to dinner, too — and he captioned it “Look at my STUNNING little sweetie. I am so so lucky to have her as my dancing partner!!! Father daughter dance time!!!”

It’s so cute it hurts, right?

And if that one hurts, this next one will probably destroy you.

In the second photo Cole shared, he’s giving Aubree some flowers while she’s posing in front of a sign that reads “I love you Daddy!”

“I love this perfect girl so much!” he captioned this one.

It’s clear that he does — and to many people, it’s clear that he deserves to be her real father in every way, including legally.

“Adopt her!!!!” one person commeneted on Cole’s Instagram. “She loves you so much and you’re the best daddy ever!!!!!”

Another person suggested her adopt her because her ‘dads’ a low life, she’s so much better off with you as her father.”

So many people had so many kind words to say — one told him that he’s “amazing for showing that little girl what a daddy is supposed to be.”

“Cole you are by far the best Father that sweet little girl will ever know!” someone gushed. “You should try and adopt her Coley Dad!!”

Yet another person wrote “Plese adopt her! Adam should be smart enough to let you take over completely from here. You already have in every other way.”

These kinds of comments are very common in basically any story about Adam or Cole — Adam is the worst, Cole is the best, so Cole should adopt Aubree.

Could that be a possibility? Maybe, if Adam keeps getting worse.

But despite his many, many flaws, Aubree does seem to love her father, so it could be hard for her to cut ties with him like that.

Amy Duggar: I Want to Adopt All 13 Tortured Turpin Children!

We all read in horror about the California parents who were arrested after shackling their 13 children in their house of horrors. David and Louise Turpin were only caught after a 17-year-old’s daring escape.

Many wonder what will happen to the 13 victims, aged 2 through 29. It’s very likely that they’ll be separated, and they’ll need a lot of physical and psychological care after what they’ve been through.

One of the people staring at their screen and wishing that they could adopt and care for all 13 Turpin children is none other than Amy Duggar King.

On the surface, David and Louise Turpin seemed like a nice, loving couple. Admittedly, Dan seems to have not picked a new hairstyle since the 1970s, but other than that, they were almost normal.

But they had 13 children, most of whom were starved and many of whom were literally shackled to their beds — rope, you see, allowed too much possibility of escape.

The tortured children have revealed that they were only permitted to shower once per year. They were deprived in every way imaginable, for purposes that we cannot fathom.

And, though we refer to them as “children,” several of the 13 young Turpins in the house were adults. A lifetime of malnourishment, however, made them appear years younger.

Physically, they may never fully recover from the way in which their starved bodies were warped by a lifetime of deprivation.

Mentally and emotionally … it is also difficult to imagine anyone coming back from that, even if they go on to the best possible homes and healthcare from here on out.

Like so many of us, Amy Duggar King saw the story.

Taking to Twitter, Amy wrote: “I just texted Dillon and told him I wanted to adopt all 13 Turpin children.”

“I would love to show them true love and have a beautiful life and provide a secure and stable home for them.”

She does clarify, however, that she has a realistic understanding of how daunting of an undertaking that would be.

“#ifonly #houseofhorrors God can restore what the devil has stolen.”

She follows that with an emoji depicting uncontrolled crying.

Amy wrote again on the subject in a follow-up tweet.

“Anyone who can hurt animals and starve /torture children in any way need to be hung by their toenails.”

That’s quite an image. And she’ll get no argument from me.

“Watching the news just breaks my heart.”

She follows that with a broken heart emoji.

Amy knows that, realistically, she doesn’t have the resources to care for all 13 Turpin children.

The 2-year-old didn’t appear to have been neglected in this way, yet. Perhaps the Turpins wait a few years before they begin breaking their children.

(Again, we don’t know what their motives could possibly be, beyond some sort of sadistic delight)

Like so many abuse survivors, Amy Duggar has seen firsthand what a monster looks like.

Even if we reluctantly set aside abuse allegations about the main Duggar family, Amy is a Duggar cousin, who famously opened up about her childhood abuse before being adopted by Jim Bob and Michelle. 

Among other things, she says that her father once tried to run her over with a car. She said that the scariest thing was that one never knew what might set him off. That part, at least, is a familiar childhood story for way too many people.

So Amy must feel a special connection to the Turpin children.

We don’t know what fate lies for the Turpin children. We don’t even know what fate is in store for the Turpin adults.

(Unless you believe in hell, we suppose)

Will they quietly accept a plea that lands them with, like, 600 years in prison?

The only reason for which prosecutors would even offer a plea in the first place might be to avoid making any of the Turpin children testify.

At the same time, some of the Turpins — particularly the adults — might find it therapeutic to safely confront the monsters who ruined their lives with torture and chains.

If there is a trial, one can be sure that there will be a lot of coverage, whether cameras are allowed within the courtroom or not.

Like Amy Duggar, so many of us are captivated by this gruesome story.

Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard: Will They Ever Be Allowed to Adopt?!

In recent weeks, Derick Dillard has made waves and angered both his famous in-laws and his former bosses.

As a result, Derick was fired by TLC after harshly criticizing transgender teen Jazz Jennings on Twitter.

The reaction against his unprovoked bullying campaign has been swift and harsh, but now it looks as though Derick mght not be through suffering the consequences of his foolish remarks.

As fans are no doubt aware, Derick and Jill Duggar have talked about adoption on several occasions.

Obviously, the couple has kept busy making biological children in recent years, but they seem to believe that the adoption option remains open to them should they ever decide to take advantage of it.

However, should they ever initiate the process, they may learn that that’s simply not the case.

As In Touch Weekly points out Jill and Derick may have hurt their chances for adoption with their recent conduct.

Adoption agencies–particularly international agencies, of the sort in which Jill and Derick have expressed interest–often factor in the social media activity and political and religious views of prospective parents when making their decisions.

Jill has not publicly espoused Derick’s transphobic views, but she has stated that she fully supports her husband in all matters.

That loyalty could work to her detriment if she and Derick ever decide to adopt.

Of course, thus far, several Duggars have spoken at length about adoption, but none has actually initiated the process.

Fans have expressed annoyance with those circumstances, arguing that it’s beginning to look as though the famiy simply enjoys the adulation they receive from fans when they talk about adoption, but would never actually take an adopted child into their home.

Jill and some of her sisters have also discussed the idea of becoming foster parents, but that seems even less likely.

Agencies that match foster children with families often have strict rules with regard to disciplinary practices and the sort of beliefs that foster parents are permitted to instill in their charges.

And it seems unlikely that the Duggars would be willing to comply with by which all foster families must comply.

“Because of the trauma these children have endured, the agency does not allow corporal punishment,” reads a page on the Foster Family Home Inquiry website.

“Foster parents will need to recognize the religious beliefs of the foster child and support them in exercising their religious beliefs.”

The Duggars would likely be unwilling to accept a situation in which they were unable to use corporal punishment (the family’s fondness for “blanket training” has been well-documented) or impart their own unorthodox beliefs to children living under their foor.

Ironically, all the talk of adoption and fostering that was supposed to highlight the Duggars’ benevolent side is bringing all their most controversial ideas and practices to the forefront.

Maci Bookout: I Want to Adopt a Fourth Kid!

Maci Bookout has made a lot of tabloid headlines in recent weeks, but most of them have had to do with her troubled ex and original baby daddy, Ryan Edwards.

Edwards checked into rehab to be treated for substance abuse issues shortly after getting married to Mackenzie Standifer last month.

His first order of business after leaving treatment was to slam Bookout in an Instagram rant, so we think it’s safe to say she has more than enough on her plate these days.

Bookout says she’s committed to helping her ex remain sober and be the father that her eldest child needs.

But just because she’s up to her eyeballs in Ryan drama these days, that doesn’t mean Maci isn’t ready to take on even more responsibility.

The mother of three sat down for a surprisingly candid interview recently and revealed that she and husband Taylor McKinney may be open to the idea of further expanding their family:

“I don’t want to be pregnant again, but Taylor and I are both definitely interested in adoption,” Maci told E! News.

Knowing that that’s the sort of quote that makes the rounds on social media and prompts a tidal wave of premature congratulations from fans, Maci immediately clarified that she’s talking about the distant future:

“If it does happen, it will not be anytime soon,” she told the interviewer.

That’s probably for the best.

Like we said, Maci has a whole lot going on these days, and the most recent season of Teen Mom: OG was one of her mst emotional to date.

In addition to the drama surrounding Ryan, Maci revealed that she often fights with McKinney at night, when both of them have been drinking. 

Bookout was criticized by fans following that bombshell, but those who know her best rushed to her defense, insisting that they’ve never met a more capable or competent mother.

In the past, Maci has enjoyed one of the more stable lives of any of the Teen Moms.

(Some fans have gone so far as to describe her storylines as “boring.”)

But this season proved that on a long enough timeline, the stresses of adulthood find us all.

Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton: We Want to Adopt a Baby Girl!

Ever since the world learned that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are dating, fans have been pushing them to get married and make babies with the urgency of a terminally bored grandmother.

Rumors about Gwen and Blake getting married began circulating pretty immediately.

Not surprisingly, Stefani pregnancy rumors followed shortly thereafter.

We’re not sure why there’s been such a push for Blake to put a baby in Gwen, as she’s 47 and already has three kids, but the fans want it, and supposedly Blake wants it too.

He hasn’t really said much on the topic.

The 4 million Gwake stans who have changed their profile pics to photos of the couple and live-tweet The Voice like its a presidential debate seem pretty convinced that Gwen’s vagina shall deliver unto us a chosen one to lead us from the darkness.

Thus, the Gwake-child talk continues … but with a twist:

“They will absolutely pursue adoption,” a source close to the couple tells Life & Style.

“It might be a baby, or it might be a toddler. But no matter what, they want a little girl in their arms by the end of 2017.”

Psssht … adopting babies and toddlers is so passe.

We say adopt a 23-year-old grad student and pay off his student loans.

That’s the future, y’all.

And it would be a perfect arrangement for Gwen and Blake.

They can both remain devoted to their careers, and Blake can take the kid out to pound some Bud Heavies on the weekend, but they’ll still get all the satisfaction of attending his graduation and being like:

“We did that! Us! As a couple!”

Anyway, if there’s any truth to these rumors, then you can take them as a pretty sure indication that Gwen and Blake are planning to get hitched in the very near future.

After all, why would they pick an arbitrary date like “the end of 2017” unless they were planning to be man and wife by then?

Sources say the pop icon has always dreamed of raising a little girl, but she’s not currently in a relationship; she’s reportedly insanely busy with her Vegas residency, and well, those flawless abs she’s been showing off lately didn’t happen overnight.

So what’s Brit to do?

Well, if the latest report from In Touch is to be believed, Ms. Spears may soon be asking an overseas adoption agency to hit her with a baby one more time. That joke worked better in our minds.

“Britney wants to adopt a baby girl from China,” a source tells the tabloid. “She realized how much fun it would be to have a little girl!”

The insider claims that Brit’s protective father isn’t crazy about the idea, but she won’t allow herself to be dissuaded 

“She’s determined to bring home a baby,” says the source.

Maybe she’ll just show up on his doorstep holding a little girl all like, “Oops, I did it again!” 

Man, these Britney jokes are just not hitting home today.

Anyway, we hope she works things out with her existing family before she attempts to make any new additions.

Otherwise, Britney could wind up bringing her daughter into a toxic situation.

Farrah Abraham Reveals Plans to Adopt Another Daughter, Discuss Porn Past With Sophia

We’ve known for a while now that Farrah Abraham wants to adopt another child, but it wasn’t until recently that we learned the details of Farrah’s plans to become her generation’s Angelina Jolie…minus the talent, career, fan base, or lack of realistic plastic molds of he b-hole for sale on the Internet.

Yes, Ms. Abraham served up one of her signature word salads yesterday while discussing her oddly specific plans to bring another young girl into her household:

“We’re open to adopting someone who’s not just – a child that can not just only be a newborn,” Farrah said. “But also a child that is maybe 3 or older.

“There’s a lot of, you know, orphans that are so adorable. So, I mean, it just breaks my heart when I see things like that because I grew up around adoptive families and I’ve always wanted to help. So it’s just a time and a place and hopefully soon I will be ready.” 

She added that she’s planning to adopt a girl “within two years.”

So if you’re a sufficiently “adorable” female child who will reach the age of three within the next two years, you’re in the running for a mom who will totally give you the low-down on her life as a porn star.

Yes, Farrah says she totes plans to talk about her career as an adult film actress and incredibly highly-paid stripper with her daughter, because apparently she hasn’t already done enough to ensure that little Sophia will spend the rest of her life in therapy:

“I want to keep it real with her,” she says. “Like, a friend. Like, if you wanted to talk and you asked me in-depth details, I would be more than open, you know. “

Yeah! Farrah likes to keep it real! Unless she’s lying about being raped, then all bets are off.

Caitlyn Jenner to Adopt a Child in 2016?!

Caitlyn Jenner has six children, a few grandchildren, a ton of stepchildren and step-grandchildren, and some famous quasi-in-laws to boot.

Why not throw an adopted baby into the mix!

“She sees this next year as a whole new start,” says a source quoted by Radar Online, “and what better way than to set up a new family?”

Yes, the website claims Caitlyn is adopting.

The insider adds, “It’s a sensitive process, but she’s consulting with experts and seeing what she needs to do to get things started.”

“Ideally she would find a baby here in the States, but she’s not opposed to adopting from overseas,” continued the source.

“She’s aware it could take some time, but she definitely wants to be a mom and believes this is the right time in her life.”

Seriously?

While more unexpected things have happened (see: Bruce Jenner transitioning into a woman), we just can’t see this anytime soon. 

Not because she’s not a good person or wouldn’t want to help a baby in need, but Cait’s got a lot on her plate right now, doesn’t she?

Radar begs to differ, saying that her age (66) and the prospect of delving into parenthood again without a partner do not faze her at all.

“Caitlyn is perfectly secure whether she’s single or not,” said the insider. “She does miss raising kids and has so much love to give.” 

It would be awesome, but we’ll believe it when we see the pictures … and we mean real ones, not bad In Touch Weekly Photoshop.

Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to Adopt 20th Child?!

To say it’s been a rough year for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar would be putting it very mildly.

The Josh Duggar sex scandals damaged their family’s reputation seemingly beyond repair and led to the cancelation of the TLC reality series that had been their livelihood for seven years.

Now, however, it looks as though Michelle and Jim Bob may be planning to kill two birds with one stone by adding to their massive brood and distracting the public from the ugly events of the past year all at the same time.

According to Life & Style, the Duggars are planning to adopt a child, bringing their total number of offspring to a nice round 20.

“They’ve been mulling it over for a long time, and they feel the time is right to get legal advice and get the process underway,” a source tells the tabloid. “They’re looking to adopt a child in the New Year.”

The source says the Duggars have no preference with regard to the child’s sex, ethnicity or age:

“Michelle says she doesn’t care if they adopt a boy or a girl, or what ethnicity the child is. She says she just wants to help a child’s life.”

The Duggars have long been open about their desire to welcome another kid.

Even after Michelle’s miscarriage in 2011, she and Jim Bob continued trying to conceive until a doctor told them another pregnancy would put her life at risk.

Kate Gosselin: Plans to Adopt a NINTH Child Revealed!

A new season of Kate Gosselin’s reality show premiered on TLC this week, and even though Kate Plus 8 ratings have hit an all-time low, interest in the 40-year-old’s sordid past has never been higher.

Excerpts from Gosselin’s diary, which were originally published in Robert Hoffman’s tell-all, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World, have been making the rounds online, and many fans and Kate-haters alike have been surprised by the bombshell revelations they contain.

Yesterday, we shared a passage in which Kate admits to physically abusing her children.

Today’s entry shows a different side of the famously unstable mother of eight, as Kate writes about her desire to adopt a ninth child from Korea. 

“Lately Jon and I have been talking about adopting our baby from Korea,” she wrote in an entry from December 24, 2006. “Jon is not totally opposed to the idea and is actually nicely entertaining the idea, which is quite nice for me!”

Yes, it seems there was a time when Kate was eager to add to her already massive brood.

Thankfully, she didn’t go through with it. Kate Plus 9 just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Oh, and there’s also that whole business about her being a horribly abusive mother.

Farrah Abraham Says She Wants to Adopt; Children of the World Run For Cover

Yesterday was World Adoption Day, and since Farrah Abraham never lets a trending hashtag pass her by without attempting to jump on the bandwagon, she shared her thoughts on the occasion with her millions of social media followers. 

As is often the case with Farrah, her heart was in the right place, but her brain was a good thousand miles or so from where it needed to be:

“Let’s embrace the power and beauty that family brings with adoption. There are over 145 million orphans in the world,” Farrah wrote.

“I grew up with all my neighbors being adopted and in foster care and I’ve seen it mean the world to them to have loving and caring homes ‘a family.’ I hope soon Sophia and I can make a world of difference by bringing home a baby brother or sister for Sophia.

“I always have been passionate about adoption as it means so much to me, my family, my community, my church and my heart thank you to all the parents who have adopted and to all the amazing children with their loving families. God Bless.”

Now, a post like this is certainly a more worthwhile use of Farrah’s time than posting the world’s most unnatural makeup free selfie, but as usual, she’s sort of missing the point.

The goal of an event like World Adoption Day is to find suitable, stable homes for children who need them. There’s nothing remotely stable about Farrah’s life.

We’re not saying there’s anything inherently wrong with a woman who sells rubber molds of her vagina for a living adopting a child, but Farrah travels constantly, she has frequent emotional breakdowns, and she’s talked about her 6-year-old daughter getting plastic surgery and starring in her own “sex tape.”

She’s only 24, and it’s possible that 10 years from now, all of those things will be distant memories.

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin Adopt Dog, Get Even Cuter

As it turns out, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are not getting a divorce because Clooney has been having a gay affair.

Shocking, we know.

But the actor and his wildly intelligent wife have arrived a major decision in their life, it just doesn’t involve splitting up.

It involves becoming new parents! No, sorry, Amal is not pregnant.

Instead, George and Amal visited the San Gabriel Valley Human Society earlier this week and left with Millie, a short-legged, long-eared basset hound who may actually be cuter than Clooney himself.

“It was a happy day at the shelter for Millie!” the shelter wrote on its website on Wednesday.

“She is a four-year-old Basset Hound mix with gorgeous looks that would land her on any ‘Hush Puppies’ commercial!

“Millie was found without a home and hoping for food scraps outside of a local restaurant in San Gabriel earlier this month. Today her luck changed for the better when she was adopted by George and Amal Clooney.”

The famous tandem were already parents to an adopted cocker spaniel named Louie, who they brought in to meet Millie to make sure the canines got along.

According to Us Weekly, meanwhile, the Clooneys may soon be adding to their family in a very different way.

“They recently visited a fertility center,” a source told the tabloid. “[A baby] is something they really want.”
