The unprecedented run has crossed all industries, too, kicking off in early January with Gaga earning her first-ever Golden Globe Award for her role in American Horror Story: Hotel.

Kylie Jenner vs. Kylie Minogue: Unexpected Feud Alert!

You might think that aside from their first names, 18-year-old Instagram queen Kylie Jenner and 47-year-old Australian pop star Kylie Minogue have very little in common. And you would be right.

However, it looks like their shared monikers might soon be enough to land the moguls in court.

As you probably know, Kylie has been marketing everything from “lip kits” to waist trainers to hair extensions online.

With an audience of 50 million Instagram followers, many of whom would wear burlap sacks to school if Kylie declared it the in look for spring, it’s not hard to see why everything she touches turns to gold. 

Now, however, it looks rapidly-growing multi-media empire has encountered its first speed bump.

According to several sources, Kylie recently filed paperwork to trademark her first name so that she can go the mononym route for marketing purposes, a la Cher or Madonna.

Unfortunately for Ms. Jenner, there’s another famous Kylie, who’s not willing to take a back seat to the teenage sensation.

Kylie Minogue – who just got engaged to Joshua Sasse last week – has filed a legal opposition to KJ’s trademark attempt, and yesterday, the singer even threw some shade on social media, tweeting:

“Hello….. My name is KYLIE #lightyears.”

The tweet is an allusion to Minogue’s 2000 single “Light Years,” but it may also refer to the fact that the elder Kylie has been in the business for about 3 decades longer than Jenner.

It’s not every day that a member of the Kardashian clan gets a lesson in humility, so we’re definitely Team Minogue on this one.

Matt Baier: Accused of Sexual Assault By Ex-Girlfriend

In the year since we first learned that Amber Portwood is dating Matt Baier, a number of troubling details about the 44-year-old’s past have emerged.

First we learned that Baier is a deadbeat dad who might have as many as eight children by six different women.

Shortly thereafter, we found out that Baier tried to hookup with other Teen Mom stars before eventually turning his attention to Amber.

There have been many, many red flags that should have given Amber ample reason to kick this guy to the curb months ago, but they all pale in comparison to the latest revelation, reported moments ago by Radar Online.

According to court documents obtained by the site, Baier stands accused of sexually assaulting an ex-girlfriend less than a year before before he started dating Amber.

The alleged victim filed for a restraining order against Baier in may of 2014. Her affidavit includes the following description of their encounter:

“I went to Matt Baier’s residence to have dinner and a date. He started touching me inappropriately in a sexual manner. Afterwards, he sexually assaulted me.

“I am in fear of him and how he will react to these allegations, and am requesting a restraining order.”

After determining that Baier presented a threat of “immediate danger of abuse,” a judge ordered him to remain at least 100 yards away from the alleged victim and her workplace.

A source says the woman later asked that the order be lifted, “because she was afraid [Baier] would retaliate if she didn’t.”

Leah Messer: My Life Isn"t Perfect But It"s Getting Better!

For the first time in a very long time, things are looking up for Leah Messer.

Last month, Leah regained custody of her twins after a long and frequently ugly legal battle with Corey Simms.

In an even more surprising development, sources say Messer and Simms are now on good terms and peacefully co-parenting for the first time in years.

So while Leah has been accused of just pretending all is well on her social media profiles, now when she expresses her contentment and optimism about the future, we’re inclined to believe her.

“Every little piece of a puzzle doesn’t always fit perfectly,” Leah recently tweeted. “If it’s good enough for you it’s good enough for me.”

Some fans have interpreted the comment as a veiled reference to her situation with Simms.

Leah hasn’t replied to requests for elaboration, but whatever inspired the tweet, she certainly seems happier than she was this time last year.

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, you know that last year, Leah’s struggles with her prescription pill addiction and her dissolving marriage to Jeremy Calvert made for one of the show’s most depressing storylines to date.

Now, Leah is filming new episodes, and if her web presence is any indication (shockingly, Leah has made positive comments about both of her ex-husbands in recent weeks), we should be in for a much brighter season.

Chrissy Teigen Throws MAJOR Shade at Stacey Dash"s Oscar Appearance

If you watched the 2016 Academy Awards last then you the night’s most memorable moment was not Spotlight’s mild upset win for Best Picture, or even Leonardo DiCaprio finally taking home the gold for his work in The Revenant.

No, the moment that really that got the attention of the (surprisingly small) TV audience watching at home was a random, unexplained, and completely baffling cameo from actress-turned-conservative-commentator Stacey Dash:

As far as we can tell, Dash’s appearance was meant to be funny.

This morning, the 50-year-old Fox New pundit wrote a blog post in which she purported to explain why she was at the Oscars, but really just rambled on about the difference between “free-thinking blacks” and “cookie-cutter blacks.”

Needless to say, we’re still pretty confused.

Thankfully, we have Chrissy Teigen’s amazing facial expression to help sum up our feelings about the whole awkward situation:

This isn’t the first time that Chrissy’s grimace has given us awards show gold, but this time, she accomplished the remarkable feat of summarizing an entire nation’s embarrassment with one epic cringe.

When some Twitter followers mistakenly thought that Chrissy was reacting to Sarah Silverman’s jokes about James Bond’s dong, Mrs. Teigen-Legend quickly cleared things up:

“I was making the face from the Stacey Dash moment ahhhhhhh not Sarah!” Chrissy tweeted. “No I am not good at poker.”

Thankfully, she is good at making us laugh with a simple contortion of her facial features.

Kris Jenner Wants to Ground Kanye West

This just in:

Kanye West likes to Tweet.

Actually, that"s not accurate. Kanye West likes to Tweet… a lot.

And he likes to Tweet some rather crazy stuff, like how Amber Rose and Taylor Swift both suck or how he doesn"t want white people critiquing to his music.

During an appearance on Ellen this week, Kris Jenner was asked about her son-in-law"s penchant for saying wacky stuff on social media, telling the host that she would definitely prefer if Kanye took a chill pill on occasion.

“There have been days where there should be a no tweeting law and I feel like I will ground him," Jenner said with a smile on her face.

But you just know she wasn"t really joking.

There"s been a lot of talk that Jenner is legitimately upset with Kanye, fearful that his social media barrage will hurt her family"s brand.

But good luck telling West that!

“Sometimes I feel like what he is trying to say… when he was like, ‘Oh I am 53 million dollars in debt,’ that whole thing, what he was trying to say was that’s what he has done to spend on his clothing line over the last 15 or 20 years or whatever its been,” Jenner added.

“But it comes out not exactly the right way and people get it misconstrued through the media and then its complicated, what can I say.”

Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill: Is It Over?!

It’s been just over a year since we found out that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are dating, and the couple has been moving at breakneck speed ever since.

They publicly confirmed their relationship almost immediately after they started hooking up, and it’s even been rumored that Nicki and Meek are engaged. Now, however, it might all be over as a result of Meek’s mounting legal troubles.

Earlier this month, Meek was sentenced to 90 days house arrest for a probation violation stemming from a 2009 drug and firearms possession arrest.

Now, sources are saying the rapper expected Nicki to put her career on hold and basically serve the sentence with him.

When she refused, Meek apparently went off on her, leading Nicki to call it quits.

Meek will reportedly begin serving his sentence this week, and insiders say he was shocked to learn that Nicki had no intention of canceling appearances and travel plans in order to hang out at his home in Philadelphia for three months.

It’s bad enough that Meek basically blamed Nicki for causing him to violate his probation when he testified at his hearing. Now he expects her to put her career on the back burner so that he doesn’t get bored?

Meek, you’re more famous as Nicki’s boyfriend than as a rapper. Don’t ruin two careers just because you’re gonna be rocking an ankle bracelet.

Khloe Kardashian & Blac Chyna: Screaming at Each Other Over Rob Kardashian?

It’s been over a month since we first learned that Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are dating, but some members of Rob’s family still haven’t gotten used to the idea of the former recluse hooking up with the longtime Kard clan rival.

Specifically, Khloe Kardashian is said to be beyond pissed about what the sketchy relationship.

“[Khloe] feels so betrayed by Rob, because he’s told her to back off since moving in with Blac,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.

But while Rob is the one who basically admitted that he screwed over his family in order to get laid, it seems he’s not the one that Khloe blames for the unusual situation.

Sources say Khloe thinks Blac is using and manipulating her brother, and the ladies recently got into a screaming match when Khloe tried to call Rob and talk some sense into him.

“Blac’s a trouble-making gold-digger and Khloe doesn’t want her near Rob,” the insider says. “The last phone call she had with him, Blac snatched the phone away and gave Khloe a piece of her mind.

“She doesn’t like this relationship one bit, knowing just how much he wears his heart on his sleeve.”

No surprise there. Khloe famously kicked Rob and Blac out of her house shortly after the relationship began, thus forcing the troubled 28-year-old to move out of her guest bedroom and into his own place.

What is somewhat surprising, however, is the intensity of Blac’s negative feelings toward Khloe:

“Blac thinks Khloe and the family bully Rob, and now he’s even more in love with her than before because she stuck up for him,” says the insider.

Something tells us this situation won’t do much to improve Rob’s volatile emotional state.

Brad Pitt: Caught Nearly Having Sex with Robin Givens!

Mike Tyson appeared on The Real this week and talked about the time he walked in on Brad Pitt about to have sex with Robin Givens.

There"s a sentence we never expected to write.

But the former heavyweight champion of the world goes into awkward detail below about an incident from three decades ago in which he was on the verge of filing for divorce from Givens.

The divorce was not final yet, however.

And you know how it is, Tyson tries to explain… you know… when you"re about to legally split from your wife… but you haven"t yet… so you still get it on sometimes… you still go over there to "clean the pipe" on occasion…

So anyway.

Tyson says he pulled up to Givens" house in anticipation of a "rump session," only to notice a car in the driveway he did not recognize.

He thought it belonged to one of the actress" girlfriends, but then he saw Brad Pitt get out of the vehicle with Givens! 

How scandalous! (Sort of. This was long before Pitt was married and long before he was accused of cheating on Angelina Jolie with Selena Gomez.)

So, as Tyson puts it, "I didn’t really catch them in the act, maybe right before the act."

He also ends his story by casually saying Pitt was a "really nice guy."

Sure. We don"t doubt it. That probably helped him clean his pipe at some point within Givens" plumbing system… if you know what we mean.

Kesha and Dr. Luke Clash Over Lady Gaga Oscars Tribute

It was the most emotional night of the 2016 Academy Awards.

At one point during the long ceremony, Lady Gaga sat behind a piano and belted out the meaningful lyrics from “Til It Happens to You,” a song about sexual assault.

As you can see in the video below, the artist was joined toward the end of her rendition by numerous victims of this horrible crime.

Gaga received a well-deserved standing ovation from those in attendance, most of whom cried openly throughout the performance.

Soon after it aired, Kesha referenced both Lady Gaga and Vice Presidet Joe Biden, who introduced the singer, by writing the following on Twitter:

“thank you @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars.  it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons.”

Kesha, of course, is referring to the fact that she has filed a lawsuit to free her from her recording contract, claiming in court that producer Dr. Luke sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions over a 10-year span.

Earlier this month, a judge ruled against Kesha.

Numerous celebrities have since showed the artist support on social media (below), with Gaga being among the most prominent.

Dr. Luke, however, refused to let Kesha get away with the implication in her aforementioned Tweet, releasing his own statement to TMZ in which he once again denies ever raping the star.

Said an attorney of the producer to the celebrity gossip site:

“Ms. Sebert, who in sworn videotaped testimony from 2011 stated that she had never been sexually abused or drugged by Dr. Luke is neither a victim nor the appropriate person to be held up as an example for this important issue.”

Kesha argues that Dr. Luke threatened her into denying allegations of rape during the deposition in question.

Dean McDermott: Tori Spelling Is Faking Her Migraines!

Mommy has a headache.

It hasn’t been the easiest start to 2016 for Tori Spelling, who was hospitalized with migraines a few weeks ago.  Sources close to the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star say it was due to the financial stress she and husband Dean McDermott have been under. 

When Spelling came home from the hospital, McDermott wasn’t exactly ready to take care of his wife.  In fact, he was ready to unload their four kids on her after having to play Mr. Mom.

“As soon as Tori got home, she went straight to bed. Dean had been on his own with the kids for days, and was frustrated,” a source told Radar Online.

McDermott wants his wife to sack up and stop being such a ninny.  There are chores to be done and money to be made.

“He doesn’t think the migraines are as bad as Tori says, and doesn’t believe she needs to go to the hospital,” the source added.

Like any mother with four kids and no help (we assume), Spelling allegedly sees the hospital as her refuge and a place for peace and quiet.

“Tori threatened to go back to the hospital because Dean was yelling at her,” the source said of the most brilliant threat in modern familial history.

Also, it sounds like McDermott is being a total dude, because he’s accusing his wife of being a bit of a hypochondriac.

“During the last two years, Tori has gone through ten doctors!” the source said of Spelling’s medical history.

As Patricia Arquette read the winner of Best Supporting Actor last night, two nominees shared the same first name.

For a brief moment, both thought they had won.  However, when the last name was read, only one emerged victorious.

Bridge of Spies star Mark Rylance ended up going home with the statute, but our hearts broke a little when the cameras focused on Mark Ruffalo, who, until “ylance” was announced, thought that perhaps it was his name on the envelope.

Not so, but Ruffalo was an excellent sport about it, turning around to his colleagues with a laugh as if to say, “Whoa, what a fake-out!”

It’s ok, because before leaving the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Ruffalo took part in some Academy Awards tom foolery.

“I tried to make off with the big one,” Ruffalo wrote on Instagram of the massive Oscar statue he was trying to swipe.

“Security stopped me. Darn it.”

Ruffalo was nominated for his portrayal of Boston Globe reporter Mike Rezendes in Spotlight, winner of Best Picture for breaking the Catholic Church molestation scandal in 2001.

Before donning his tux for the ceremony, Ruffalo joined the film’s director/co-writer Tom McCarthy and co-writer Josh Singer to protest outside Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles.

The men supported members of SNAP, the Survivors Network of Those Abused by Priests, who demanded the names of pedophile priests be released.

“The movie is about something important and it’s handled in such a really mature, serious way that to have it being embraced today when there’s so much bombast in filmmaking – which I’m also part of – it’s a very sweet moment for all of us,” Ruffalo told People last month.

Jill Duggar & Derick Dillard: Criticized For Joking About Zika Virus

For the past four months, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard have been in Central America with their 11-month-old baby Israel.

The couple is performing missionary work in an undisclosed nation (they’re believed to be in stationed in El Salvador), but while the Dillards are keeping mum on their exact location, they’re definitely living in a part of the world that’s being profoundly affected by the Zika virus.

Jill and Derick briefly returned to Arkansas last month, and it initially looked as though they planned to remain in the States in order to decrease their chances of contracting the mosquito-borne illness, which causes severe birth defects in the children of infected mothers.

The Dillards religious beliefs forbid them to use birth control, and rumors that Jill is pregnant with her second child have been circulating for several weeks.

To the surprise of many, however, the couple returned to Central America after spending just a few days in their hometown, presumably to film scenes for the upcoming TLC reality series Jill & Jessa: Counting On.

Now, some fans are concerned that Jill and Derick aren’t taking threat of contracting Zika seriously:

Derick recently posted the above photo, along with a caption that’s drawn criticism from many of his social media followers:

“I knew I could count on Walmart to have what I need to combat that Zika Virus! #beprepared #zika,” Derick wrote.

Derick is clearly joking, and that’s exactly what has some fans worried.

Those living in Zika hot spots have been advised to avoid getting pregnant for at least two years.

Even if the rumors that Jill is currently expecting turn out to be untrue, it’s very unlikely that the Dillards will go another two years without having a child.

Especially since the couple is almost certainly not heeding all the advice of health experts, it’s not surprising that Derick is being criticized for making flippant remarks about a very serious disease.

Here’s hoping he and Jill are taking their preventative measures more seriously than they seem to be.

Scott Disick Gets Wasted, Parties With Kylie Jenner in Shocking Video

It’s been less than three months since Scott Disick left rehab after four weeks of in-patient treatment.

While Scott has gone to rehab and fallen off the wagon several times in the past, this time he claimed that he was fully committed to remaining sober for the sake of his kids. However, a video shot over the weekend and posted by Kylie Jenner tells a different tale.

The clips above, which appeared on Kylie’s Snapchat page on Saturday show Kylie and Scott backstage at one of Tyga’s concerts.

Kylie is following Tyga on tour (some say to ensure that he remains faithful) and apparently Scott decided to join her on one of the stops.

Unfortunately, it seems he also decided to get completely wasted while hanging out with the 18-year-old sister of his baby mama.

In the clip on the left, Scott sounds heavily intoxicated as he mumbles something about his watch.

On the right, he slurs something about the Holocaust.

Needless to say, the footage is not terribly flattering for the 32-year-old father of three.

Oddly, Kylie seems to find nothing odd about his behavior, and she posted the videos to her social media accounts moments after they were shot.

In fairness, to her she’s basically grown up with the sight of a drunk Scott Disick.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Why He Needed "Privacy" After Oscar Win

Sometimes we all just need a brief time-out from the malarkey.

Such was the case for Best Actor winner Leonardo DiCaprio, who finally took home an Oscar for his role in The Revenant.

Producers thew DiCaprio a bone during his acceptance speech, allowing the environmentalist to speak about his personal causes without the interruption of cut-off music.

“Making The Revenant was about man’s relationship to the natural world…climate change is real.  It is happening right now,” DiCaprio told the audience.

“It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters or the big corporations but for all people.

“Let us not take our planet for granted,” he said, wrapping up his speech.  “I do not take tonight for granted.”

After, DiCaprio and his entourage headed to the Governor’s Ball, held atop the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.

According to the Daily Mail, DiCaprio briefly lost track of his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken inside the party/

“Where’s my mom?” he asked, as members of his crew went in search of her.

“I’m so hungry,” Dicaprio admitted before eating slice of chicken pizza (OSCAR WINNERS GET HUNGRY, TOO).

The famously private actor is press-shy and doesn’t grant many interviews, so it was no surprise that he was overwhelmed by the amount of people and photographers who approached him at the party.

The Daily Mail reports that DiCaprio “begged to be allowed to eat in peace” at his table, which was soon “ringed” so as to let him decompress in peace.

“Leo is asking for a little bit of privacy,” one of his security guards told well-wishers.

After the ball, TMZ filmed DiCaprio going into Ago Restaurant and enjoying his vaporizer, as you do.

Apparently one of DiCaprio’s crew members assigned to Oscar forgot something important, because someone was seen running after DiCaprio’s car with the statue.

Good news, though; a bottle of of alcohol did make it into the vehicle.

Justin Bieber Throws Self Early Birthday Bash: Who Was Invited?

It’s about to be Justin Bieber’s birthday…

… and he’ll invite all the ex-lovers he wants to.

The artist, who turns 22 years old on March 1, threw himself a wild and crazy party a couple days early this past Saturday.

It was held at a mansion in Bel-Air and it included a couple of guests who have allegedly both seen Justin Bieber naked.

According to various sources, per Us Weekly, both Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin stopped by the shindig.

Kourtney, of course, was linked romantically to Bieber toward the end of 2015, with multiple outlets reporting that Kardashian was hooking up with Justin.

But Bieber then kicked off 2016 by taking a vacation with Baldwin, a young model who has pretty much confirmed that she’s having sex with Bieber.

Others in attendance at this early birthday party included Scooter Braun, Joe Jonas and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The music mogul gifted The Biebs with a Bad Boy letterman jacket that Bieber tried on in front of guests at one point.

“Had to give lil bro that official #BadBoy Jacket for his Birthday,” the rapper captioned an Instagram post that referenced the event over the weekend.

Kardashian, meanwhile, posed in a photo booth with some of Bieber’s closest friends, most notably good call Alfredo Flores, who posted the image on Instagram:

Then there was Braun who is also the singer’s longtime manager and who Instgrammed another photo, writing as a caption:

“All grown up. Happy bday @justinbieber. Love yah buddy.”

Lindsay Lohan: Dating Random Russian Real Estate Agent?

The 2016 Academy Awards were held in Hollywood last night, and in keeping with one of the the film industry’s proudest traditions, Lindsay Lohan was not invited.

Lindsay still hopes to win an Oscar someday (ed. note: LOLOLOLOLOL), but in the meantime, she’s apparently found contentment with a 22-year-old Russian real estate agent named Igor Tarabasov.

According to Radar Online, Linds met Igor (who we’re assuming is a recent winner of the prestigious World’s Most Russian Name prize) back in October, and the the couple has been “inseparable” ever since.

“Lindsay has obviously had some issues in the past, and probably been attracted to the wrong sort of guys, but this is different,” says one insider.

“He’s a bit younger than she is, but he’s a very smart businessman. He’s much more mature than his age suggests, and he’s a good influence.”

Given Lindsay’s proclivity for banging famous guys, it might seem odd that she would give a Russian real estate agent the time of day, much less date him. 

Fortunately, the source has an explanation for that:

“He is a perfect boyfriend and – as he is quite wealthy – pays for quite a lot of stuff like meals out and trips away. He has been traveling the world with her, and posting loads of pictures of their trips online.”

Sounds like Lindsay’s ideal arrangement.

Of course, back in January, Lohan claimed to be a victim of domestic violence, then quickly deleted the allegation from her Instagram page.

If what the source says is true, she would have been dating Igor at the time.

Not cool, comrade.

Sam Smith Thought He Was the First Gay Man to Win an Oscar

Unlike Stacey Dash, Sam Smith did not randomly wander on to the stage at the 2016 Oscars and make a complete fool out of himself for no comprehensible reason.

But that doesn’t mean the talented singer wasn’t at the center of his own controversy on Sunday night.

Upon accepting the trophy for Best Original Song, Smith accepted the award by saying the following to a national audience:

“I read an article a few months ago by Sir Ian McKellen, and he said that no openly gay man had ever won an Oscar. If this is the case – even if it isn’t the case – I want to dedicate this to the LGBT community all around the world.”

Pretty harmless, right?

Smith even made a point of recognizing that he might not have his facts correct, but the overall dedication – the crux of his message – remained.

But this wasn’t good enough for Dustin Lance Black or a number of people on the Internet.

See… McKellen was actually referring to the acting categories only when making this statement to The Guardian in January.

Melissa Etheridge, an open lesbian, actually won the same award as Smith in 2007; while Elton John, Stephen Sondheim and Scott Rudin are among other past winners who were also openly gay at the time they were victorious.

So was Black when he won Best Original Screenplay for Milk in 2009.

And he was not about to let Smith forget it!

“Hey @SamSmithWorld, if you have no idea who I am, it may be time to stop texting my fiancé,” Black Tweeted last night, referring to Olympic diver Tom Daley.

The insecure Black then linked to a video of his acceptance speech from the 81st Annual Academy Awards and added:

“Here’s a start.”

Later informed about his snafu, Smith told reporters backstage that he was a “little drunk” and added “Sh-t. F-ck that” in regard to his mistake.

We think he should be forgiven.

Especially because it prompted this Tweet from Clay Aiken:

“Congrats to Sam Smith for being the first openly gay man to inaccurately claim he is the first openly gay man to win at the #Oscars.”
