Meghan Markle & Prince Harry"s Star-Studded Wedding: Which Celebs Were Invited?
Moments ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were married in an unforgettable ceremony at Windsor Castle.
Meghan looked flawless in a Givenchy dress, and Harry was dapper as always in his military uniform.
Which is all to the good, as the newlyweds had some A-list guests competing for the spotlight.
Royal weddings are typically attended by a few celebrities, but they’re generally not as star-studded as Harry and Meghan’s.
It’s a testament to the strength of Meghan’s Hollywood ties that some of the biggest names in the entertainment world made the trip to London for her big day.
For starters, the closest thing that America has to a queen – Oprah Winfrey herself – was in attendance.
Sadly, she didn’t give in to the temptation to start handing out cars to the assembled dignitaries.
Of course, Oprah certainly wasn’t the only A-lister on hand.
Among the few that publicly confirmed in advance that they would be attending were George and Amal Clooney.
Amal turned heads in a yellow Stella McCartney dress with an asymmetrical train.
The human rights attorney’s connection to Meghan is a powerful one – sources say she advised the actress on London hairdressers shortly after Markle made her move to the UK.
Needless to say, ties don’t get much stronger than that.
Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian were also on hand.
Alexis is a co-founder of the social media platform Reddit.
Serena, of course, needs no introduction.
Williams rocked a blush cocktail dress and got into the spirit of a royal wedding with some elaborate headgear.
Speaking of international sports icons, it wouldn’t be a major UK social event if the Beckhams weren’t in attendance.
Yes, Posh and Becks looked stylish as ever matching black ensembles.
Very subdued. Kim and Kanye would be proud.
Victoria might be pulling double duty today, as its being rumored that the Spice Girls will perform at Harry and Meghan’s reception.
It’s sort of unfair of the new Duke and Duchess of Sussex to pull off such a baller event right at the beginning or wedding season.
Being a bridesmaid in your former dorm mate’s ceremony next week just can’t measure up, ya know?
Also in attendance were Elton John, Priyanka Chopra, Joss Stone, and of course, Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Meghan’s onscreen love interest – Suits star Patrick J. Adams – also made the guest list.
He posted a loving tribute to his former co-star on Twitter last night:
“Going to bed now and thinking a lot about the strange surreal and wonderful day my friend Meghan is going to have tomorrow. Meghan – wherever you are – we are so grateful to be here to watch you both take this monumental step together,” he wrote, adding:
“Love deeply and live well.”
Sound advice, and we’re sure both Meghan and Harry took it to heart.

The Royal Wedding: Hey, Look Who"s Invited!
The most important date in the recent history of Great Britain is nearly upon us.
No, we’re not really exaggerating here.
On May 19, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will get married at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle; in front of thousands cheering them on in person and millions watching around the world.
But you already knew that.
You probably know all there has been to know so far about the upcoming Royal Wedding, such as who Harry has selected as his Best Man.
Kensington Palace, however, released a statement on Friday that confirmed a new piece of vital information.
Following much speculation, and a few rumors to the contrary, it turns out that Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, will walk his somewhat estranted daughter down the aisle on her big day.
(Markle’s mother, Doria Radlan, will also travel with her by car before the ceremony.)
There had been some questions as to whether this would happen because Markle’s parents divorced many years ago and Thomas has chosen to live a mostly secluded life in Mexico.
He has not even met his son-in-law to be just yet.
Said Harry’s communications secretary in a just-released statement, though:
“Ms. Markle is delighted to have her parents by her side on this important and happy occasion.
“Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are very much looking forward to welcoming Ms. Markle’s parents to Windsor for the wedding.
“Mr. Thomas Markle and Ms. Doria Ragland will be arriving in the UK in the week of the wedding, allowing time for Prince Harry’s family – including The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, and The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – to spend time with them before the big day.”
Markle herself, of course, is beloved by all who make her acquaintance.
However, she is not especially close to some of her relatives.
The future bride’s half-sister, for example, has been complaining non-stop over Twitter about how she isn’t invited to the wedding.
Taking his whining a step further, Markle’s half-brother penned an open letter last week in which he urged Harry to call off the entire wedding.
“As more time passes to your royal wedding, it became very clear that this is the biggest mistake in royal wedding history,” the 51-year-old wrote. “Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you.”
The general reaction to this letter has been: LOL!!!!
But he went on to say Markle has let her fame “[go] to her head” and that she sucks and Harry should be an end to the “fake” fairy tale.
We doubt he will, though.
We can also confirm the wedding service will take around an hour.
After the ceremony, loved ones will wave off the newlyweds as they step into an Ascot Landau carriage to take them through a 25-minute ride through Windsor Town.
“Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are very much looking forward to this part of the day. It will be their chance to express their gratitude for the goodwill and warm wishes they have received from all quarters in the months since their engagement,” this latest announcement reads.
Elsewhere, in case you did not receive a invite and/or in case you cannot watch the event live on TV that day… don’t worry.

Donald Trump: Will He Be Invited to the Royal Wedding?
Americans spend every waking hour concerned about what President Donald Trump may do or say next.
And now a new report claims citizens of Great Britain can relate to their allies’ perpetual state of fear.
With the country very excited (and we mean VERY EXCITED!) for the impending wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, a new question is starting to dominate the British headlines.
And starting to cause headaches for those in charge.
That question is this: Will Donald Trump receive a wedding invitation?
Moreover, will Barack and Michelle Obama receive a wedding invitation?
And, if the ex-President does, yet the current Commander-in-Chief does not, just how much of a tantrum will Trump throw and what will it mean for Britain?
“Harry has made it clear he wants the Obamas at the wedding, so it’s causing a lot of nervousness,” a senior government source tells The Sun, adding the obvious:
“Trump could react very badly if the Obamas get to a royal wedding before he has had a chance to meet the queen.”
Prince Harry and President Obama have collaborated on the Invictus Games.
The Royal Hunk even interviewed the ex-Oval Office occupant for a recent podcast.
In other words: the two are pretty close. They get along well. There’s no real debate as to whether Obama will be invited to the May 19th ceremony.
But President Trump? Well… he has no history with Harry or anyone in the Royal Family.
(He does watch a lot of television, however, so he may be familiar with Markle’s work on the USA Network hit Suits, FWIW.)
In order to maintain a positive relationship with the United States, however, Prime Minister Theresa May may “lay down the law,” this same article states.
She may force Harry to extend an invite to Trump and, in that case, “Harry will just have to suck it up.”
Just this fall, Trump re-Tweeted racist videos from far-right group Britain First, drawing an unusually strong reaction from Downing Street.
May isn’t exactly a fan of the President’s, either.
But she may recognize the need to avoid further issues by simply letting Trump know he can attend the nuptials if he so desires.
Harry and Markle announced their engagement last month.
They proceeded to sit for a joint interview and make a few public appearances, including a trip to church with Kate Middleton and Prince William on Christmas.
Check out those photos here:
Neither Markle nor Harry has said much of anything regarding President Trump, but both are known for being rather liberal and progressive.
We doubt they like the guy very much.
But they may also recognize the need to just suck it up, as the above insider states, and see if the President wants to come.
If he chooses to do so, the event will no doubt be the BEST WEDDING OF ALL-TIME.
That’s what many people are saying will happen if Trump attends, that is.

Josh Duggar: No Longer Invited to Family Functions?
Shortly after news of the Josh Duggar sex scandals went public, it looked as though the disgraced 29-year-old would no longer be welcome at gatherings hosted by his famous family.
After all, Duggar weddings and birthdays serve two purposes–they’re occasions for celebration, of course, but they’re also much-needed ratings bootsters for the family’s reality series.
And if Josh is on hand, costly precautions need to be taken to ensure that he doesn’t wind up on screen.
We witnessed the lengths the Duggars are willing to go to when Josh was edited out of sister Jinger’s wedding special.
The production team behind Counting On was so desperate to prevent Josh from popping up in crucial scenes that they employed CGI pillars and artificial lens flares to block his face from view.
To the surprise of many fans, however, Josh has appeared in several Duggar social media posts in recent months.
It seemed to be the family’s way of testing the waters and finding out how fans were ready to forgive the known sexual predator.
Not surprisingly, they were not.
Many were outraged by the sight of Josh smiling alongside some of his past victims on Facebook and YouTube.
Jim Bob and Michelle now seem to realize that posting images and video of their eldest son was a gross miscalculation, as to many fans, he’ll never be anything more than “Josh Duggar the molester.”
It may have taken them several failed attempts to realize that Josh’s public image is beyond rehabilitation, but it looks as though the message has finally been received.
The Duggars celebrated two birthdays in the past week, as Josh’s sister Johannah turned 12, and his daughter MacKynzie turned 8.
The family assembled to celebrate both big days at once, and as many fans have pointed out, Josh was nowhere to be seen:
“We had a lovely lunch celebrating our two upcoming birthday girls, Johannah and Mackynzie!!” Michelle Duggar captined the photo.
In fairness, it looks like the lunch was a ladies-only affair, but it’s one of many photos from the past week’s celebration, and Josh isn’t present in any of them.
Anna Duggar posted a photo collage tribute to Mackynzie on Twitter and Josh did appear in one of the images.
But tellingly, the pic was clearly not taken at the girl’s birthday party.
In fact, the absence of Josh and Anna’s youngest son, Mason, has led many fans to the conclusion that the photo was taken several months ago.
So have the Duggars finally decided to stop inviting Josh to family get-togethers?
If so, we’re sure Counting On producers are thrilled by the decision.
The absence of Josh is sure to save them thousands on their editing budget.

Rachel Lindsay: ALREADY Planning her Wedding! See Who"s NOT Invited!
Last night’s season finale of The Bachelorette may have been something of an upset (or, at least, upsetting) for a lot of fans, but Rachel made her choice.
She’s engaged, but for the fairytale ending that she wants, she’ll need a wedding to match. Reportedly, Rachel Lindsay and her fiance are already planning their nuptuals.
And while we don’t know everything yet, we do have some of the details.
Life & Style reports that Rachel Lindsay is planning her wedding with Bryan Abasolo, who is currently her fiance after winning The Bachelorette.
She expects to have about 300 or so guests.
It will definitely be in Texas, but either next fall or winter so the suffering from blistering temperatures should be at a minimum.
(For Texas, anyway)
The wedding itself might very well get filmed by ABC for fans to watch:
“Rachel would be down to have her love story continue on TV.”
That’s incredibly nice of her … though perhaps not the best recipe for
“She’s aware people think Bachelor engagements don’t last, so she wants to say ‘It did work for me!”
Two things:
One, a lot of the times, these things don’t work out because the couple didn’t get to know each other off-camera very much while they were “dating.”
Deliberate on-camera behavior aside, people’s behavior and language may just subconsciously shift when they’re off-camera.
You have to get to know someone one-on-one, not on camera.
(And not through chaperoned “courting” either, Duggars)
Not to mention that, well, a lot of engagements break off. That’s life.
Two, though, while filming the wedding is well and good.
(Plenty of people film their weddings)
Teasing the idea of Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo’s love story continuing to be filmed sounds like she might be open to a reality series.
Do we really need to remind you of what happend with Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins?
Those who thought that they were going to live happily ever after, and they got an appropriately (if, in the long run, ironically) named reality series.
The omnipresent cameras meant that, even during their engagement, they couldn’t be open with each other and communicate like a healthy couple needs to do.
Were there other factors? Absolutely.
But putting your whole relationship on camera from the get-go is a recipe for disaster.
Rachel Lindsay doesn’t need to prove anything.
Life & Style‘s insider had more to add about Rachel Lindsay and her plans:
“She’s frugal but wants her wedding to be the biggest day ever. Rachel has had her wedding planned since childhood. She used to play pretend and go shopping for dresses and everything.”
That’s sort of the stereotype, right?
Well, the huge wedding thing isn’t a stereotype for Millennials — if you’re going to splurge on something on that scale, you want it to be a house or something like that.
But, as far as gendered stereotypes go, most women are socialized from a young age to fantasize about their weddings.
Rachel’s kept the dream alive as she entered adulthood, however, and she’s gotten some very specific ideas.
She even know who she wants to design her dress.
“[She] used to watch Project Runway and gush about how she wanted [contestant] Michael Costello to design her dress.”
She wants the big color of the night to be red with hints of gold, black, or brown.
(Which sounds gorgeous — somewhere between the Sith and Gryffindor colors)
The bridesmaid dresses will match that scheme, of course.
It sounds like Rachel Lindsay’s wedding will have everything.
Oh … with one major exception, says the insider.
“I can’t see her inviting any of the guys she’s sent home. That would be too awkward!”
Well, nobody expected her to invite Lee Garrett, but as much as people might like to see Dean Unglert or Peter Kraus at an event like that … yikes.
We certainly can’t imagine that Bryan Abasolo would want them there.
Plenty of Bachelor Nation folks in general might make the guest list, though.

Josh Duggar: Was He Invited to Joy-Anna"s Wedding?
If you’re a fan of the Duggar clan, you’re probably aware that Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth in a secretive ceremony over Memorial Day weekend.
The family went to such great lengths to keep the nuptials low-key that they even posted what appears to have been a fake wedding registry for Joy-Anna that was designed to give the false impression that the wedding wouldn’t take place until October.
It seems like an unnecessarily shady precaution, but the Duggars have gotten used to such cloak-and-dagger operations over the past couple years.
Yes, it’s impossible to talk about any milestone event for the Duggars without mentioning the dark cloud of the Josh Duggar sex scandals that continues to hang over their heads.
The family has made every effort to sweep Josh’s misconduct under the rug, but the fact remains that the same Duggar compound that’s now witness to so many staged scenes of togetherness was the scene of an unknown number of sex crimes.
The same smiling parents who beam with joy as their daughters leave the nest to start families of their own are the same that helped hide Josh’s serial molestations from legal authorities.
Given the horrendous nature of the situation, it’s not surprising that the Duggars have gone to almost laughable lengths to ensure that Josh is not seen on camera during the Counting On‘s highly-publicized wedding specials.
During Jinger Duggar’s wedding back in November, footage was edited to keep Josh off camera using sun spots and other obstructions that were added in post-production.
This time around, Josh, his wife Anna, and the couple’s four kids were nowhere to be found either in the wedding photos released online or in the congratulatory video clips recorded by the other siblings.
Fans were left wondering if Josh was even invited to the wedding, and believe it or not, some expressed pity for the admitted sexual predator.
“No congrats from Josh & Anna and the kids? They are still part of the family,” one follower commented on the family’s Facebook page.
“It would be nice to see them once in awhile!”
Fortunately, Duggar detractors were on hand to keep the situation in perspective:
“I can’t imagine that Joy’s new husband would be all that keen on getting well wishes from the older brother who used to molest her,” wrote one astute observer.
”I’m not being hateful, just stating facts. Josh is kept put of the spotlight because they could lose all sponsorship and their show if he reappears. He’s got major personal problems for this family’s once squeaky clean outer appearance.”
Watch Counting On online to witness the constant effort the Duggars put in to pretending the Josh situation never happened.
