Taylor Schilling Slams "Celebrity Kim Kardashian Culture," Dishonesty in Hollywood
Taylor Schilling feels sad for America these days.
The actress, who is about to star in Orange is the Black Season 3 when it hits Netflix on June 12, opens up to the latest issue of Elle on a number of topics; from the Internet to how Kim Kardashian has pretty much ruined everything.
First, the blonde beauty takes aim at today's self-obsessed social media society.
"There is something so sad about going online and seeing almost everyone shouting 'Notice me, notice me!' Which is such a human desire - to be acknowledged," Taylor says.
"But me responding to that with some sort of 'You're noticed, you're seen' only perpetuates the loneliness."
"Because I'm not seeing you; I'm not noticing you."
Schilling makes a point of saying that we all “deserve to be noticed and valued," but that she feels “lucky to have not grown up with the Internet because it forced me to get out, struggle and be so messy.”
So, what does this have to do with Kim Kardashian... or Kendall Jenner... or Kylie Jenner?
Schilling doesn't believe they live real lives. She thinks they basically exist at this point just to blog and/or pose for selfies.
"It has almost become a defiant thing at this point because I do not believe this celebrity Kim Kardashian culture is what I signed up for," Schilling tells the magazine.
"I'd rather create something honest than try to create something for a social media account."
In general, Schilling simply thinks Kim is fake.
Moreover, the thinks that anyone who posts too much on Twitter or Instagram is not giving people a glimpse at his or her true self.
"It takes a lot of bravery to be authentic and honest and to take that social mask off in order to connect with another human being. So much of what makes us who we are is smoothed away online.
"And what truly connects us is the wrinkles, not the smoothness."
Fair point, but in Kim's defense, she's not all fake. These photos are nothing if not authentic (note: we didn't say they were good) ...

Jonah Hill Spotted On Set Of His New Movie As News About That 21 Jump Street & Men In Black Crossover Breaks!
Jonah Hill sure is busy lately!
Not only does the 31-year-old have 23 Jump Street and that Men in Black crossover coming up, but he was also just spotted on the set of his latest film Arms and The Dudes on Wednesday!
The two-time Oscar nominee will star alongside Miles Teller in, you guessed it, another crime-comedy.

Sophie Turner Turns Back Time With Her 80s Look For X-Men: Apocalypse!
Bryan Singer took a moment out of shooting his newest superhero blockbuster, X-Men: Apocalypse to snap a quick shot of a couple of his young hollywood stars, Sophie Turner and newcomer Lana Condor.
We all knew that Sophie kills it on Game of Thrones, but who knew she’d look this AH-Mazing as an 80s girl. Shout out to Miz Condor too, looking fly in that yellow jacket grrrll!

It has not been a good day for the stars (and their cars) of Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta.
Rapper Yung Joc was pulled over in the ATL Thursday for speeding. The police ran his license and found out there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest. He’s currently in custody.
But Yung Joc isn’t the only star from the VH1 reality show to have some car problems today!
Dee Momma was Ubering home from a lunch when her ride was rear-ended.
Dee claims she injured her back and is in severe pain.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton: On the Rocks Over His Drinking?
Are country stars Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton on the rocks again over his drinking problem … which he feels is not a problem at all?
Though "he got healthy for a bit with Miranda," says a report from celebrity gossip magazine Life & Style, but "now he's back to his old ways."
"She doesn't like that he's always drinking because she gets insecure that he'll cheat on her," an insider says of couple's rocky relationship.
"Blake says he can handle his alcohol and that everyone needs to stop bringing it up ... she's tired of telling him to cut back or get help."
We've heard a lot of this before, and the couple has simply laughed it off. is this any different or more of the same BS from the rumor mill?
In a sign of major discord, Lambert won big at 2015 Academy of Country Music Awards, but never bothered to thank her husband on stage.
"It's definitely a different way to live and to be in a relationship," she reportedly said, "but I feel like our relationship started going separate ways."
That was April 19. Then, during Lambert's April 25 performance at the Stagecoach festival in Indio, Calif., she seemed majorly out of sorts.
"She barely smiled throughout the first few songs and kept the small talk to a minimum," one fan said of Miranda Lambert at the event.
"When she sang 'Over You,' the song her husband Blake wrote about his dead brother, she started crying at the end and wiped away a tear."
"Even from far away, it seemed like she was really going through something," the fan added (something like cheating on Blake with Chris Young?).
One possible reason Lambert was so upset?
While Dierks Bentley was opening for Miranda, Blake "had been in his trailer getting drunk on moonshine" prior to her set, according to reports.
Another possible reason she was visibly breaking down on stage? It's an emotional, powerful song about the tragic death of a sibling.

Floyd Mayweather to Pay Suge Knight's Bail If He Wins Pacquiao Fight?!
On Saturday, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao will square off in the most highly-anticipated boxing match in recent memory.
Win or lose, each fighter stands to make more than $ 100 million for the fight, and Mayweather is already the top-earner in the sports world, with 9-figures in annual earnings.
So financially, there's not much on the line for the Money Man. Perhaps that's what prompted the rumor that he's decided to make things more interesting by essentially gambling with Suge Knight's life.
As you may know, Suge was arrested for murder back in January following a hit-and-run incident that left one man dead.
The rap mogul is currently behind bars on $ 10 million bail (down from its original $ 25 million), and Knight's lawyer claimed this week that the Money Man would foot the bill if he defeated Pacquiao.
Now, TMZ is reporting that reps for Mayweather claim that's a flat-out lie, and the boxer has no intention of helping to spring Suge.
The attorney maintains Mayweather made a promise to Suge's family, and Floyd himself has yet to publicly comment on the situation.
We're guessing Money knows enough to stay out of hip hop drama these days. Mayweather just settled his feud with 50 Cent earlier this week. The last thing he needs is get wrapped up in Suge's shenanigans.

As you probably know, the Kardashian family fancies themselves gods among mere mortals in the worlds of fashion and trend-setting.
Kendall's modeling career is taking off. Kylie's look inspires teens to mutilate their faces. And, of course, Kim is releasing a book of selfies, and hard is it may be to believe, people will actually buy it.

If you saw Kanye's weird Fashion Week exhibit, you know that he dressed a bunch of models like homeless people and made them stand around on stage for an hour.

Plaxico Burress -- I'm Not a Tax Crook ... I Don't Belong In Prison

Plax was indicted on 2 counts of failing to pay taxes — and faces up to 10 years in prison under New Jersey law.
But a rep for the ex-NFL star tells TMZ Sports … Plax has a perfectly good explanation — and says, “Prosecutors are clearly trying to take advantage of a guy who’s been in the news negatively and trying to make an example out of him.”
Long story short … when Plax filed his 2013 tax bill electronically, he noticed the IRS had taken funds out of his bank account.
Plax thought the transaction meant his debt was satisfied — not realizing the IRS only takes federal taxes. He still owed on state taxes.
Now that he realizes the issue, Plax’s rep says Burress has hired a new tax attorney and is “cooperating fully” with state officials to pay his debt and clear his name.
Burress’ rep says Plaxico also had issues with his accountant — and has since fired the firm … adding, “They did a terrible job.”
As for rumors that Plaxico is struggling financially, the rep said that couldn’t be further from the truth — saying the guy is still very well off from his NFL playing days.

Taylor Swift Speaks on Kanye West Collaboration: Will It Happen?
When it comes to a potential collaboration between Taylor Swift and Kanye West, we’re definitely gonna let the artists finish.
Because this would be awesome!
Back in February, West told Ryan Seacrest that Swift wants to get into the studio soon and that he's totally down to work with his former nemesis because he admires anyone with an "amazing point of view, perspective [and] fan base."
Taylor definitely possesses all of these things.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight about the possibility, meanwhile, Swift acknowledged that the idea has been discussed, but says there’s been no movement on any music with Mr. Kim Kardashian.
“He’s one of those people that’s just like idea, idea, idea. Like, ‘What do you think of this? What do you think of that?’” Taylor explained.
“He’s very creative... I completely respect his vision as a producer. So, that’s all I know now. I have no idea what the next album’s gonna be, though.”
West is already helping to produce the next Justin Bieber record, but he has plenty of time to team up with both The Biebs and T. Swizzle.
Swift, who just released "1989' toward the end of last year, is not in a rush to get back inside a studio.
"I’m not making the next record yet,” Taylor says. “That’s going to take a lot of thinking about what that should be...
"With 1989, I love this album so much that I think it would be doing a real disservice to this album to try and copy it the next time around. I think it’s going to have to be something very, very different, creatively."

On Tuesday, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was up all night caring for one of her babies, and had to take her sick child to the doctor.
On the way there, the 36-year-old decided to show her many Instagram followers what she looks like sans makeup!
The Don’t Be Tardy diva wrote the caption:
“Beauty comes from within… my baby is sick heading to doctor… been up most of the night NO MAKEUP NO CARES but my [baby]… #DontStartYourShitSayingIHaveMakeupOn#HaventBrushedMyTeethOrWashedMyFace#ICantDealWithMyBabiesBeingSick”
You go girl! Children should be your top priority!
This isn’t the first time the reality TV personality has used social media to proudly display her natural features.
As we reported, when commenters criticized the Bravolebrity for having “chunky” legs, she shot back with a pic displaying her stems in all their glory!
Natural is the way to go!

Suge Knight Pleads Not Guilty To Murder As Judge Denies The Rapper's Request For Reduced Bail
On April 30, Suge Knight plead not guilty to the murder of Terry Carter.

His request to have his bail reduced from $ 10 million to $ 5 million was also DENIED.
The request was a tad outrageous, considering the bail had already been reduced from $ 25 million at a previous hearing.
Hmm, it seems like Suge should be grateful for the fact that his bail was decreased to begin with, especially when you consider the severity of his crime and the incriminating video that comes along with it!

“Mommies, don’t beat yourselves if you fall off the wagon and eat like teenagers. Yesterday we took our friend out for sushi and I swear I ate everything AND the kitchen sink. Right before I started my typical routine of self-loathing Marco looked at me and said ‘Z, it’s okay. Start again tomorrow’.
I loved him for that, he reminded me there always tomorrow to make right what you have undone today. I’m also reminded that this is for life and not a temporary fix. So why am I going to add more stress to my life by putting a deadline on my healthy lifestyle.”

Suge Knight -- Bail Reduction Denied ... Pleads Not Guilty

Suge Knight will not get the deep deep discount he wants on bail — a judge denied his request during Knight’s arraignment … where he pled not guilty to murder.
The court previously reduced bail from $ 25 million to $ 10 million, but Suge wanted a judge to knock it down even more … to $ 5 million. During Thursday morning’s hearing … the judge stood at $ 10 mil.
Suge walked on his own into court, but did use a wheelchair when he left. He previously complained he was embarrassed because deputies forced him to use the chair.
Knight is charged with murdering Terry Carter during a confrontation which was captured on video. Suge claims he ran over Carter in self-defense.

Tyson was doing an interview with the Undisputed Champion Network — when he was asked about Floyd’s claim that he’s truly the “greatest” of all time.
Clearly, that set Tyson off … who proceeded to explain why greatness isn’t solely defined in the ring.
Long story short, Tyson says Floyd’s just a “small scared man” … who’s so afraid for his own safety in public that he can’t take his kids to school without a security team.

Demi Lovato Fires Back at Bitter Tattoo Artist: Maybe You Shouldn't Tattoo Drunk Teenagers!
A few weeks back, Demi Lovato posted a photo of a new rose tattoo on her left wrist. She made clear in the caption that the new word was intended to cover up an old tattoo of a pair of lips that she had regretted for years.
Yesterday, Ashley McMullen - the tattoo artist responsible for the original work - slammed Demi on Instagram in a rant in which she attempted to shame the singer for the allegedly crude, drunken behavior she exhibited while getting tattooed.
McMullen clearly took offense that Lovato had covered up and publicly criticized her work, and she may have been justified in that regard.
The problem is, she went on to accuse Lovato of everything from peeing on a toilet seat to tipping poorly, and many fans have pointed out that she was thoroughly out of line in doing so.
Lovato recently celebrated three years of sobriety, so calling her out for her ill-advised actions from her drinking and drugging days is seriously uncool.
Fortunately, the older, wiser, more clear-headed Demi took to social media to set the record straight:
"First, I would like to say I'm really sorry I don't remember you or getting tattooed by you, but as you know I was f--ked up and sometimes people act like "#turds" when they're loaded. Second, I apologize for my "#peepeetoiletseat"... That wasn't on purpose, I was simply a drunken teenage girl.
"Lastly, I apologize for making fun of your work.. But... if I were you, I wouldn't claim that one because it looked more like an open vagina (or even a butt hole as my 8 year old little sister called it at the time.
"I also wouldn't be admitting to the fact that you tattooed a very intoxicated 18 year old on a tour bus without the proper judgment that most legit tattoo artists have of saying 'Hmm... This underage kid is wasted, maybe I shouldn't permanently ink a hot pink kiss mark on this girl's wrist....? Oh well... F--k it, she's famous.'"
Ouch! No word from McMullen, but we imagine she's currently recovering in the burn unit.
