Pamela Anderson and Rick Salomon did not succeed at first.
So then they tried and tried again at marriage, failing two MORE times before finally realizing in February that they needed to divorce for the third time.
What proceeded from there was an especially ugly battle, one that involved disputes about everything from their dogs to their sex life.
Heck, Anderson even obtained a restraining order against Salomon last month, after alleging he attempted to smother and strangle her while the two were engaged in intercourse.
Meanwhile, he claimed she was a “serial baby killer.”
So, yeah. It got nasty.
But now Anderson and Salomon have finalized their issues and taken an unusually awesome step: they've issued a joint apology to friends and family members!
"Public divorces can be harsh and cruel – we apologize to our families and friends for any hurt and embarrassment we have caused," they wrote, adding:
"We have come to an amicable agreement and are moving on. There are private and personal family sensitivities to consider and we retract any hurtful comments made in haste and distaste. We wish each other and our families well."
In addition to this statement, Anderson and Salomon also released the above photo showing them posing with their dogs.
Their divorce settlement reportedly forces Salomon, who had pushed for an annulment, to pay Anderson just over $ 1 million.
