Demi Lovato: Getting Back Together With Wilmer Valderrama While In Rehab?!
It’s been nearly two months since Demi Lovato suffered an overdose that nearly claimed her life.
After spending more than a week recovering in a Los Angeles hospital, Lovato headed straight to rehab, where she’s been devoting herself to the hard work of getting sober ever since.
Fortunately, Demi enjoys the support of a vast network of family, friends, and fans who are committed to assisting her in any way they can.
And it seems one special person in the singer’s life has really been going the extra mile to ensure that she knows she’s not alone during this dark and difficult time.
Despite the fact that Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama broke up back in 2016, the pair have remained close as friends, and it seems Demi has been leaning heavily on her ex in recent weeks.
According to TMZ, Demi recently transferred to a different rehab facility.
Her whereabouts are being kept under wraps, but sources have confirmed that she relocated in part so that she could be closer to Valderrama.
The actor has been spotted visiting Demi at the facility several times, and witnesses claim that the two of them have visited a nearby Starbucks together several times.
The facility reportedly has an “open door” policy, and patients are permitted to come and go as they please.
In fact, going for walks and frequenting local businesses is said to be encouraged, as the treatment center is a long-term facility that seeks to help residents transition back into everyday life.
Sources close to the facility say that it features a group-based recovery program, a claim that seems to be confirmed by the fact that Demi has been spotted at Starbucks with large groups of fellow patients.
As for the question of her relationship with Wilmer, sources claim the exes are nothing more than platonic friends, but fans have their doubts.
There have long been rumors that Demi is still in love with Wilmer, and the fact that he appears to have put his life on hold in order to assist with her recovery has been interpreted by many as a signal that the two of them are romantically involved.
Whatever the case, we wish Demi all the best on her road to recovery, and we applaud Wilmer for sticking by her side throughout this life-or-death struggle.

Demi Lovato: Here"s How I Feel About Wilmer Valderrama!
For a guy whose last name looks like “drama” if you squint at it just right, Wilmer Valderrama seems to be living a drama-free life these days.
But he has his share of exes … and his recent ex, Demi Lovato, is happy to let the world know where they stand.
Demi Lovato is strong and talented and a genuinely good person, but even she uses Instagram stories, which is the most annoying feature that Instagram has implemented since making it impossible to right-click to save photos.
In this instance, she used stories to post a snap of herself with ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, looking cozy with each other.
Wilmer attended a barbeque that Demi threw to celebrate LA Pride over the weekend, and though it’s been more than a year since they broke off their six-year relationship, they’re clearly anything but stereotypical awkward exes.
Deciding that the photo wasn’t enough, Demi elaborated with a caption:
“Best of friends no matter what.”
She then tagged his Instagram handle. Take a look:
They look as cute as ever.
Yes, it looks like Demi Lovato is joining Mandy Moore — also a talented singer, also Wilmer’s ex — in Mandy’s habit of perennially running into Wilmer and sharing an amicable photo or two.
In Mandy’s case, that took some time, as he’d said some honestly pretty gross stuff about his relationship with Mandy in a Howard Stern interview.
But sometimes time heals some wounds, you know?
For Demi, even though they’d ended a six-year relationship, it never seemed like the end of an epic struggle.
Honestly, Demi had been dating him since she was a teenager — like, he’s 13 years older than she is, and their relationship got plenty of side-eye because of that age gap and because of how young Demi was when it started.
We’ll never know everything that went into their split.
Our feeling is that Demi entered the relationship as a teen and sort of needed to experience being in the world as herself, outside of the context of their relationship.
We can’t help but wonder if Demi was also wondering what dating within her own age group might be like.
Demi has dabbled in dating since then, and so has Wilmer.
But neither have plunged straight into another six-year relationship, which is honestly a good thing.
Long-term relationships don’t need to come back-to-back.
Now, we don’t think that her photo or caption was supposed to be a sign that they’re getting back together.
When they split, Demi said that they’d agreed that they were better off as best friends.
It looks like she’s just affirming that.
Of course, they each have their own lives, but there are different definitions of “best friend.”
Hell, some people use “best friend” as a tier of friendship rather than a position, but that’s its own can of worms.
Honestly? We should all break up on such good terms that we’d happily invite our exes to barbecues with no ulterior motives.
Because no, it doesn’t count if you invite them over hoping for a convenient, familiar hookup.
It extra doesn’t count if you invite your ex-spouse over to introduce them to your charming coworker in the hopes that they’ll hit it off an you won’t have to keep paying alimony.
Also, really either of those would have been a gross misuse of a Pride celebration.
We love that they’re way more mature about their breakup than a lot of actors who are way older than either of them, though.

Wilmer Valderrama and Minka Kelly: Officially Back Together!
Just a few months ago, Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato ended their long-term relationship in friendly fashion.
But now the actor has been spotted VERY friendly with one of his famous ex-girlfriends…
… if you know what we mean!
An insider has confirmed to E! News that Valderrama and Kelly, who split back in 2012, spent Labor Day Weekend in Mexico together.
No one else joined them on the trip and the former lovers appeared to be picking things right back up after over four years apart.
In one paparazzi photo, Valderrama is drying off with a towel, while Kelly wearing a baseball cap and chilling under an umbrella.
The vacation took place a after days after the actor and actress were spotted at Palms Thai restaurant in Hollywood last Wednesday.
An onlooker told E! News that the stars looked quite cozy and close close during their time out, adding that Valderrama was a total gentleman, opening the car door for his date and paying for the meal.
“They sat across from each other and it was just the two of them,” this witness said.
“I didn’t personally see if they were holding hands or if they were being affectionate, but it looked like a date. They looked casual and relaxed.”
Based on these reports, E! News writes that Valderrama and Kelly have “reconciled their romance and are officially dating again.“
Poor Demi Lovato, huh?
In early June, she and Valderrama released a joint statement that reads as follows:
“This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends.
“We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years.”
These two had seemed like one of the happiest, most stable couple in Hollywood.
But sources claimed the romance had turned into almost more of a sibling type of relationship, with Valderrama feeling like he was more akin to Demi’s big brother than her boyfriend.
How is she reacting to the news of her ex getting back together with one of his exes?
We have no idea, but Lovato did Tweet the following on Saturday:
You have to be capable of being honest with yourself before you can get honest with other people.
Might this have been a reference to Valderrama?
No one can blame Demi if she’s bitter, can they?
After dating someone for many years, seeing them with someone else is heartbreaking.
But seeing them with someone else they had dated before you? Just a few months after your split? Who is as attractive as Kelly?

Wilmer Valderrama: Cast on NCIS Season 14!
For over six years, Wilmer Valderrama was one half of one of the most popular couples in Hollywood.
Now, he’s set to be one cast member on the most popular show on television.
Earlier this month, Valderamma and Demi Lovato stunned the world when they announced the end of their lengthy relationship.
Both sides confirmed the break-up via a statement on social media, saying they are “better off as best friends.”
But while the actor’s personal life has made news for several months now, the Internet is now buzzing over a professional decision:
Wilmer Valderrama will be a series regular on NCIS Season 14.
Fresh off a five-episode arc on Grey’s Anatomy Season 12, Valderrama will come on board network television’s highest-rated series as a “once grounded NCIS field agent who accepted a deep cover assignment years ago and never resurfaced. Many agents don’t know he’s still on the job or that he’s even alive,” according to a press release.
Now, the character is “back and his dedication to job and country has left him an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon.”
Via statement, executive producer Gary Glasberg said the role will permit Valderrama to “flex his dramatic, physical and comedic talents.
“Fans are going to see him like they’ve never seen him before. This is going to be fun. We’re thrilled he’s coming aboard.”
NCIS just lost long-time star Michael Weatherly, who concluded his 13-year run on the show this past May.
We’ve also learned that British actor Duane Henry and 24 alum Sarah Clarke will recur on the drama this fall.
Previous to joining NCIS and to appearing on Grey’s Anatomy, Valderrama stopped by such shows as Minority Report, From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series and Suburgatory.

They seemed so happy. They seemed so in love.
They seemed destined to get married and have lots of kids and grow old together and holds hands on their rocking chairs while talking about their grandkids many decades from now.
But looks can be deceiving, we sadly suppose.
A few days ago, the world was stunned to learn that Wilmer Valderrama and Demi Lovato have broken up, with the former couple taking the unusual step of releasing a joint statement to announce the news.
They had been a romantic item for six years.
“This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends,” wrote the stars, adding:
“We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years.”
So… what happened between Lovato and Valderrama?
How did they go from potential spouses to mere friends, seemingly in the blink of an eye?
“[The relationship] had turned into more of a big brother-little sister kind of [thing],” an insider tells E! News.
It’s worth noting here that Valderrama is 36 and Lovato 23.
“The romance wasn’t what it used to be,” the source continued.
“That said, Wilmer is still very protective of her. He did a lot for her – not just in terms of being there for her when she had her health issues, but really helping build her brand and launch her product lines.
“You never saw him out in front, though. He never tried to ride her fame.”
It’s true. Lovato would very often thank her then-boyfriend for the positive influence he has had on her life.
But Valderamma never took any kind of credit himself.
While most exes always say they will remain friends, it really does seem as if that will be the case this time around.
“He was very close to her family. I don’t expect that will change. There was a lot of love there,” E! writes.
As happy as Demi and Wilmer seemed together, it does say something that they never got engaged.
Clearly, at least one half of the couple sensed something was off.
“They love each other but aren’t in love anymore,” a second source concludes. “They are really great friends, which they’ll continue to be, but the romance sort of died.”

Over the weekend, we learned that yet another Hollywood romance had bitten the dust.
After six years together, Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama announced they were splitting up.
The couple made the announcement on social media with the following message:
“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship.
“This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends.
“We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years.”
Despite their marked age difference – Valderrama is 36 and Lovato 23 – fans had gotten used to the two of them together and suspected all was well.
But a source now reveals the reason for the split.
“[Demi and Wilmer] both were not in a rush to get married, they both were not in a rush to have kids and they thought that would change even when their close friends were doing all of that,” the source told HollywoodLife.
“But the fact that they didn’t have the urge to get married and have kids really got them talking on if it was worth continuing the relationship,” continued the insider.
“And that is when they realized being best friends was the best option for them.”
Well, if both of them realized they wanted the exact same thing – i.e., not to get married and have kids – that actually sounds like the perfect reason to stay together to me.
Or could it be that they do want marriage and children – just not with each other?

“After almost 6 loving and wonderful years together, we have decided to end our relationship,” both Valderrama, 36, and Lovato posted to their Instagram pages on June 3rd.
“This was an incredibly difficult decision for both of us, but we have realized more than anything that we are better as best friends.
“We will always be supportive of one another. Thank you to everyone who has offered us kindness and support over the years.
“With only love, Wilmer & Demi.”
Earlier this year, Ellen DeGeneres teased the pop star about rumors of an engagement.
“I don’t see a ring,” Lovato answered during an appearance on DeGeneres’ talk show.
“I wouldn’t mind if I saw one, but there’s time for everything.”
In May 2015, Demi Lovato told Huffington Post Live that Valderrama stuck with her through her darkest time.
“He never takes credit for my sobriety, but I guarantee I wouldn’t be alive without him today,” the 23-year-old singer said.
“We’re in control of what we’re able to post online, and we’re very open about our relationship,” Lovato said.
“As I get more serious in my life, I’m more proud.”
Lovato entered rehab in 2010 after allegedly punching a dancer on her tour whom she thought revealed Lovato’s suspected drug use.
“Afterwards, Demi felt awful about her behavior and realized she needed to take personal responsibility for it,” a family source told People at the time.
“Because of this, and because of the battles Demi has fought throughout her life, both she and her family realized she needed to take steps to get help immediately.”
Lovato confirmed last year that she was diagnosed with depression and bi-polar disease.
