This week, Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth broke off their engagement and their relationship.
2. They had been together for three years
Most couples on The Bachelor break up within a year — and plenty part ways after just a few months. Three years is like a lifetime for the Bachelor Fam.
3. Kaitlyn and Shawn even released a breakup statement
“This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration,” the couple issued in a statement to People. “Even though we are parting as a couple, we’re very much committed to remaining friends.”
4. These things are always sad — and awkward
“We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways,” they said.
5. Breakups are personal, but breakup announcements are not
“Due to the nature of how we met, our relationship has always been very public, and we have enjoyed sharing it with all of you,” they concluded. “But we ask that you respect our decision and our privacy at this time.”

Ariana Grande Pays Tribute to Mac Miller One Week After Pete Davidson Split
It’s been one full week since the world learned that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have ended their engagement.
The reasons for the split remain mysterious, though some ugly rumors about Pete’s behavior in the final days of the relationship have made their way across the social media landscape.
The only thing insiders seem to agree on in accounts they’ve offered to the media is that the death of Mac Miller played a role in Ariana’s decision to end her relationship with Pete.
Grande and Miller dated for over two years and parted ways not long before the singer began her relationship with Davidson.
Last month, Miller died of an apparent overdose after struggling with addiction for several years.
In the wake of her ex’s passing, Grande has made it clear that despite the dissolution of their romantic relationship, her love for Miller remains intact.
And she’s once again reminded fans of that fact with her latest Instagram story.
Grande posted a video she shot at last year’s Academy Awards.
In the video, Miller is seen joking and smiling with Grande’s mother and grandmother backstage.
“I should have worn that for the night,” Miller jokes while watching an interview with a flamboyantly-dressed Elton John.
At that point, Miller turns to Grande and laughs.
The singer overlaid the video with a small heart as a symbol of her affection for the departed rapper.
It’s not the first time that Ari has paid tribute to Mac in the weeks since his passing.
After grieving away from the public eye for several days, Grande broke her silence last month when she posted the above video of Miller with the following caption:
“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will,” she wrote.
“i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do.”
“you were my dearest friend. for so long,” she continued.
“above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved.
“i hope you’re okay now,” Grande concluded “rest.”
Our thoughts go out to Ariana and all of Mac’s loved ones as they continue to mourn the passing of an incredibly gifted young man.

Justin Theroux Finally Speaks on "Gentle" Jennifer Aniston Split
No one told Justin Theroux his life was gonna be this way.
His job isn’t a joke. The guy definitely isn’t broke. And his love life, when it comes to Jennifer Aniston, was not DOA.
But the marriage was put to sleep back in February of this year, as the famous couple ended their union after two and a half years.
Did it die a slow and painful death, though?
The former Leftover lead has said next to nothing about his split from America’s Sweetheart, remaining almost entirely mum on the topic until speaking to The New York Times for an article that went viral on Saturday.
“The good news is that was probably the most – I’m choosing my words really carefully – it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity,” the 47-year old told the publication.
He added:
“In a weird way, just sort of navigating the inevitable perception of it is the exhausting part.”
That perception, of course, is that someone cheated.
Or there was some huge and ugly falling out.
Or, of course, that Aniston just wants to get back together with Brad Pitt and this romance was destined to fail.
Theroux and Aniston must have known that this is the sort of stuff people would say once they announced their divorce, so at least they were prepared to deal with the fallout.
In reality, however, Theroux says here that the break-up did not come about due to any one significant issue.
Rather, there were many small cracks that eventually led to an unfixable fissure.
“These are actually in reality small events that take place,” he said, explaining as best he could to The Times:
“But everything can feel like 10 on the Richter scale if you make the headline big enough and salacious enough.”
Sources at the time mostly blamed the split on different lifestyles and different visions of the future.
Aniston wanted to live full-time in Los Angeles, for example, while Theroux preferred New York.
Now, seven months later, Theroux says he’s adjusting well, noting that breakups in Hollywood are different because of what he refers to as a “kind of carny lifestyle” with frequent scenery changes.
“[It] doesn’t have that seismic shift of an ordinary couple, where everything is, like, you have to tear a baby in half,” he said.
“Neither one of us is dead, neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It’s more like, it’s amicable. It’s boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be.”
That really is pretty boring.
Yet it also makes sense.
It must be challening to keep a spark lit when each half of the couple has such a busy schedule and is traveling so often.
“It was heartbreaking only in the sense that the friendship would not be the same, as far as just the day to day,” he concluded.
“But the friendship is shifting and changing, you know, so that part is something that we’re both very proud of.”
For her part, Aniston has clapped back against most of the BS out there.
“It’s pretty crazy,” she said in August. “The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.
“Or that I’m sad and heartbroken.”
Having dealth with rumors about her womb and her love life forever and ever, Aniston rightfully went off this summer as follows:
First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken.
And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me.
They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.

Kourtney Kardashian-Younes Bendjima Split Gets Ugly as Side-Piece Speaks Out!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima have called it quits after dating for much, much longer than anyone expected them to.
Proving once again that the eldest Kardashian sister has the absolute worst taste in men, Younes allegedly cheated on Kourtney while she ignored some textbook warning signs.
You’d think that after ten years with Scott Disick, she’d be more savvy about this sort of thing, but maybe all that time with the Lord has caused Kourt to lower her standards.
Like, as long as a guy is in the same country as her, and he’s not currently hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, that’s good enough.
Anyway, Kourt and Younes have called it quits, and the spilt should be an amicable one, as Bendjima was clearly just a rebound dude who overstayed his welcome.
Then again, Kourtney has been in exactly one serious relationship in her adult life, and that ex fell madly in love with his very next love interest, so she may have gone into this thing with high hopes.
Whatever the case, the relationship is now over, and by all accounts, it ended in ugly fashion.
Sources concur that Younes was caught cheating on Kourtney, an allegation he strongly denies.
Instead, the male model says he was unceremoniously kicked to the curb.
“Kourtney was the one who initiated the split,” he recently claimed.
Younes has confirmed that “Kourtney was the one who initiated the split,” but he takes issue with media outlets who want to “wanna make me the bad guy.”
“Once again you guys failed,” Bendjima wrote on Instagram this week.
“I’m not attached to this ‘life’ so you can’t touch me. I know who I am and where I’m from and where I’m going and that bothers you.”
Shortly after the split, Younes was spotted partying with former Hooters waitress and Kardashian groupie Jordan Ozuna, who was previously linked to both Tyga and Justin Bieber.
Ozuna has now issued a statement claiming that she and Younes are just friends.
“Younes and I are not involved romantically at all,” she wrote.
“We were both invited to Mexico for a mutual friend’s birthday party with 13 other people.”
The abrupt end to the relationship, coupled with the fact that Younes reportedly awfully friendly with Younes seem to support the cheating rumors, but some insiders claim otherwise:
“Near the end of the relationship, the two weren’t getting along and the age difference ultimately played a part,” one source tells E! News.
“Younes is young, and although mature for his age, he and Kourtney are at different stages in their lives.”
Well, hopefully, these two can just go their separate ways, and maybe one day they’ll reflect fondly on their time together.
Whatever the case, at least they don’t have kids together.
Sadly, Kourt is shackled to Disick’s drunk ass for life.
