Ariana Grande Pays Tribute to Mac Miller One Week After Pete Davidson Split
It’s been one full week since the world learned that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have ended their engagement.
The reasons for the split remain mysterious, though some ugly rumors about Pete’s behavior in the final days of the relationship have made their way across the social media landscape.
The only thing insiders seem to agree on in accounts they’ve offered to the media is that the death of Mac Miller played a role in Ariana’s decision to end her relationship with Pete.
Grande and Miller dated for over two years and parted ways not long before the singer began her relationship with Davidson.
Last month, Miller died of an apparent overdose after struggling with addiction for several years.
In the wake of her ex’s passing, Grande has made it clear that despite the dissolution of their romantic relationship, her love for Miller remains intact.
And she’s once again reminded fans of that fact with her latest Instagram story.
Grande posted a video she shot at last year’s Academy Awards.
In the video, Miller is seen joking and smiling with Grande’s mother and grandmother backstage.
“I should have worn that for the night,” Miller jokes while watching an interview with a flamboyantly-dressed Elton John.
At that point, Miller turns to Grande and laughs.
The singer overlaid the video with a small heart as a symbol of her affection for the departed rapper.
It’s not the first time that Ari has paid tribute to Mac in the weeks since his passing.
After grieving away from the public eye for several days, Grande broke her silence last month when she posted the above video of Miller with the following caption:
“i adored you from the day i met you when i was nineteen and i always will,” she wrote.
“i can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. i really can’t wrap my head around it. we talked about this. so many times. i’m so mad, i’m so sad i don’t know what to do.”
“you were my dearest friend. for so long,” she continued.
“above anything else. i’m so sorry i couldn’t fix or take your pain away. i really wanted to. the kindest, sweetest soul with demons he never deserved.
“i hope you’re okay now,” Grande concluded “rest.”
Our thoughts go out to Ariana and all of Mac’s loved ones as they continue to mourn the passing of an incredibly gifted young man.

Ariana Grande Pays Moving Tribute to Mac Miller
Ariana Grande has broken her silence in response to Mac Miller’s shocking death.
In her own way, that is.
One day after Miller was found dead inside his home of a suspected overdose, the singer has acknowledged the tragic death of her ex-boyfriend.
Grande and Miller dated for about two years, breakng up in May, just a couple months before Miller would pass away.
According to sources at the time, the rapper substance abuse problem was a sigificant reason that Grande was forced to finally end the romance, as it had become highly toxic and unhealthy for her.
Because lots of people on the Internet are awful, some trolls attacked Grande on Instagram Friday evening because they:
- Blamed her for Miller’s overdose.
- Wondered why she had not yet commented on his passing.
Like we said, lots of people on the Internet are awful.
On Saturday afternoon, however, Grande did share the following photo of Miller on her official social media page:
She did not include a caption along with it.
Within an hour of going live, though, the black, white and sort of artistic image has garnered over 3.6 million Likes.
About a week after Miller and Grande split, the former was arrested for drunk driving after he got into a very serious car accident.
Grande responded by telling Mac to “Pls take care of yourself,” and she then clapped back hard at anyone who blamed her then as well for Miller’s personal issues.
“I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be,” she tweeted this spring, adding:
“I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years. Of course I didn’t share about how hard or scary it was while it was happening but it was.”
Miller was also in Manchester last year when a terrorist killed 22 people at one of Grande’s concerts.
These two had been through a lot prior to Mac’s death.
The day Grande and Miller broke up, Ariana wrote the following on Instagram:
Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet malcolm mccormick.
I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!
Unconditional love is not selfish.
It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and i’m so proud of you!!
Elsewhere, another of Miller’s ex-girlfriends, Nomi Leasure, has spoken out on his death… and his life.
“So grateful we had our final moment. Our clarity, clearing of the air. You changed my life. I, yours. The residual effects of your passion ripple on. You are not gone. Not in the least.”
Leasure and Miller started dating in high school and broke up not long before he moved on wth Grande.

Sally Field Pays Heartfelt Tribute to Burt Reynolds
Hollywood has lost a legend.
And Sally Field has lost a true love.
As previously reported, Burt Reynolds died on Thursday of a heart attack, passing away at his home in Jupiter, Florida of a heart attack.
The legendary actor was 82 years old.
Upon learning of his death, a number of entertainment industry heavyweights have expressed their sympathy and their sorrow (scroll down), but one name stands out from all the rest right now.
Sally Field met Reyonds on the set of the 1977 smash hit comedy, Smokey and the Bandit.
The actress and the actor would date for five years… while also co-starring in several more films, including Smokey and the Bandit II, The End and Hooper.
Although they split for good in 1982, Reynolds recounted the romance over 30 years later in an interview with Vanity Fair, referring to Field as “the love of my life.”
And it’s clear now that Reyonds was never far from the two-time Oscar winner’s heart, either.
“There are times in your life that are so indelible, they never fade away,” Field said in a statement this afternoon, adding of Reynolds:
“They stay alive, even forty years later. My years with Burt never leave my mind. He will be in my history and my heart, for as long as I live. Rest, Buddy.”
Reynolds’ manager, Erik Kritzer, confirmed the passing of this big screen icon, while his niece, Nancy Lee Hess, said the following on Thursday:
“My uncle was not just a movie icon; he was a generous, passionate and sensitive man who was dedicated to his family, friends, fans and acting students.
“He has had health issues, however, this was totally unexpected. He was tough. Anyone who breaks their tailbone on a river and finishes the movie is tough. And that’s who he was.
“My uncle was looking forward to working with Quentin Tarantino (in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and the amazing cast that was assembled.”
In recent years, Reynolds used a cane while out in public. His last appearance in front of a big crowd took place at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival.
In the wake of his passing, nearly everyone across Hollywood chimed in with a story about Reynolds or with a few thoughts about the highly-respected actor. To wit:
Arnold Schwarzenegger: Burt Reynolds was one of my heroes. He was a trailblazer. He showed the way to transition from being an athlete to being the highest paid actor, and he always inspired me. He also had a great sense of humor – check out his Tonight Show clips. My thoughts are with his family.

Lauren Swanson Wears Nude Heels (!!!), Pays Tribute to Josiah Duggar
Lauren Swanson has gotten naked, folks.
Kind of. Sort of.
Okay, not really at all.
But the newlywed wife of Josiah Duggar has made headlines both for what she just wrote about her husband on Instagram and for what she wore while doing so.
Yes, to be more clear, of course Swanson wore clothing.
She isn’t that much of a rule-breaker.
She hasn’t gone full Cardi B on her conservative in-laws or anything.
But Swanson did get all dolled up in a flowing green skirt, striped top and nude heels to pose alongside Josiah and write the following over the weekend:
“Can’t believe it’s almost been 2 months since I married my best friend!!!’
She concluded with the hashtags “#2monthiversary #marriageisthebest #amazonoutfit.”
Swason and Duggar got married on June 30, shocking fans and supporters because they had not confirmed their wedding date ahead of time.
The ceremony took place at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
It was officiated by Lauren’s father and the couple gushed afterward to People Magazine:
“What a joy it is to be husband and wife! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!”
And then Duggar on his own stated:
“What was even more perfect was to see my beautiful bride walking down the aisle.
“We are so thankful the Lord has brought us to this place and we can’t wait to begin our journey as husband and wife!”
Ever since their big day, there’s been speculation that Swanson is pregnant, which would explain why the stars moved so quickly to exchange their vows.
This speculation has not been verified, however.
But while having sex and getting pregnant before marriage would be the ultimate in Duggar family rule-breaking, Swanson’s ensemble in the photo far above isn’t that far off.
(Okay, fine. It’s pretty far off from premarital sex. But it’s still very very frowned upon by Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.)
According to TLC.com:
“You won’t catch any of the Duggar girls in trendy crop tops or mini skirts. Instead, they practice modest dress, which means keeping shoulders, thighs, and cleavage covered.
“Not only does it prevent distractions while dating, but it also ‘keeps the relationship pure’ according to Michelle.”
Is Swanson exposing any cleavage in the photo in question? No.
But she’s coming close to a dress that goes above the knee and some might label those “f-ck me heels” and she also shared the image directly above on Instagram.
It features her and Josiah making out in the dark — and while some may interpret it as sweet and artistic, the elder Duggars may interpret it as akin to pornography.
We’re not kidding.
And neither was Josiah when he said THIS about marriage, keeping it as real as one can about this blessed union.

Back in January, Mackenzie McKee revealed that her mother, Ange Douthit, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
In the months since, she"s frequently updated fans on Ange"s condition, and while Mackenzie is generally optimistic, she"s also realistic.
No one in Mackenzie"s family is under any delusions about what the future holds, but rather than give into their grief, they"ve opted to make the best of every remaining day with Ange.

Ian Somerhalder Pays Tribute to "Magical" (And Naked!) Wife
Ian Somerhalder wants the world to know two things about Nikki Reed:
1. She is an amazing woman.
2. She’s gorgeous! Especially when she’s wearing her birthday suit!
The former Vampire Diaries star paid tribute to his wife on the occasion of her first Mother’s Day as an actual mother on Sunday, posting a lengthy message that once again proved Somerhalder may have gone into the wrong profession.
As profound as they come, he should perhaps be a poet instead of an actor.
But the reason why Somerhalder’s Instagaram caption has gone especially viral is because it accompanied a photo of Reed naked.
Totally and completely, folks.
“No filter needed,” wrote Ian to open his tribute, adding of Reed:
“I remember taking this image of this magical human with a tiny magical human inside.
“Nicole, you are the warmth of the sun, you are the light of the moon, you are the air in my breath and the ground beneath my feet.”
See, we told you Somerhalder should be a poet.
The lovely image, as you can see above, features Reed very far along in her pregnancy.
The famous couple welcomed its first child into the world last July, naming its little girl Bodhi Soleil.
Shortly after announcing her arrival to the world, Somerhalder explained that he and Reed were going to go social media silent for a month in order to fully embrace parenthood.
He also addressed his wife and wrote:
“Thank you for being my partner in this life and thank you for inspiring not just me but all others who read, hear or see what your soul gives us.”
Man, this guy is good.
In this latest tribute, Somerhalder continued as follows:

Jill Duggar Pays Birthday Tribute to Derick Dillard ... Who Promptly Gets Roasted By Fans
It’s been a rough few months for Derick Dillard.
The troubles started when Derick got fired by TLC after launching an unprovoked social media attack on fellow network star Jazz Jennings.
In the months since, things have only gotten worse for poor Der.
It’s almost like costing his family their only source of income in order to settle some petty social media score wasn’t the smartest move.
This week has been a particularly hard one on Derick, as he was torn to shreds for complaining that TLC refused to pay his son’s medical bills.
(As many followers pointed out, employers give you money in exchange for labor, so that you can pay for unexpected expenses yourself.)
But it’s Friday, and it’s Derick’s 29th birthday, so right about now he probably just wants to kick back with a spicy Virgin Mary and forget about the online world for a bit.
Unfortunately for Big D, the internet doesn’t take days off.
Earlier today, Derick’s wife, Jill Duggar, posted the above photo along with a heartfelt birthday message:
“Happy birthday My Love! You’re the best hubby and father! I’m so in love with you! I hope this last birthday in your 20s is a good one,” Jill captioned the pic.
Unfortunately, the last year of Der’s twenties isn’t off to the greatest start, as Jill’s followers took the opportunity to roast the controversial house husband within an inch of his life:
“Derick, happy birthday. As you blow out your candles, you should wish forgiveness from God for the things that come out of you mouth,” wrote one follower.
“May Derick learn the true meaning of being a Christian for his 29th year,” another commented.
“Wow! 29 and still doesn’t have a real paying job! How very sad,” another roast-master remarked.
“I don’t think this year will be a good birthday. After all, he posted on Twitter yesterday he seems really emotional and upset. I have a feeling Derick will be on Twitter again all day complaining how life isn’t fair.”
Needless to say, there’s not a lot of birthday love out there for Der today.
Maybe he should flip the script and give Twitter a present by deleting his account.

Jeremy Roloff Pays Tribute to Billy Graham
Like millions of people around the world this week, Jeremy Roloff is in mourning.
The Little People, Big World star has a lot to say in the wake of Billy Graham passing away.
Yesterday morning, word broke online that the 99-year old pastor had died at his home in North Carolina of natural causes.
The long-time religious figure had served for decades as the spiritual adviser of several Presidents, while also preaching to a greater number of people than anyone else in history.
According to estimates on his website, Graham spoke to a lifetime audience of approximately 215 million people in over 185 countries and territories, with “hundreds of millions more” viewing him on television, video, film and via the Web.
In response to Graham dying, Roloff shared the above photo and the following message:
I was first saved at a Billy Graham event in downtown Portland. I must have been eight at the time.
I remember clinging to the words he spoke with curiosity and wonder. Something deep in me wanting it to be true – it took a decade until I realized it was.
The world has lost a great warrior for the kingdom. A true “good and faithful” servant.
However, in the words of C.S. Lewis – Christian’s need never say goodbye.
Typically, Audrey Roloff is the half of this famous couple who speaks candidly about her relationship with God.
And she has also made a mention of Graham, sharing Jeremy’s caption in her Instagram Stories, along with and a photo of the preacher.
But Jeremy was clearly touched on a personal level by the reverend and felt a need to speak out on his own in this unique and sad case.
He wasn’t the only well-known individual to publicly pay tribute to Graham, either.
“My entire family came to faith through Billy,” Kathie Lee Gifford said on air during The Today Show on Wednesday, while adding on Twitter:
“Rejoicing with my precious friend, Billy Graham. Without a doubt, the finest man I ever knew. So grateful that I am among the millions that he led to faith in Jesus and the promise of eternal life.”
And there was this from President Trump:
“The GREAT Billy Graham is dead. There was nobody like him! He will be missed by Christians and all religions. A very special man.”
And this from President Obama:
“Billy Graham was a humble servant who prayed for so many – and who, with wisdom and grace, gave hope and guidance to generations of Americans.”

Ellen DeGeneres Pays Tribute to Late Father
It may be the job of Ellen DeGeneres to make people laugh on a daily basis, but the talk show host was sadly forced to turn serious on Thursday.
For the saddest of reasons:
Because her father passed away at the age of 92.
Ellen broke this news to her viewers in a moving tribute to her dad, Elliott, which followed a long talk with Oprah Winfrey about the fatal mudslides in their home town.
“In addition to what’s going on in Monetico, I lost my dad this week,” DeGeneres said, fighting back tears as she spoke.
“He was 92 years old. He had a good, long life. And he lived his life exactly how he wanted. He was Christian science his entire life. He never had medicine his whole life.
"He never went to a doctor. We never had a vaccination. We never had medicine growing up and he lived to be 92.”
Continued the comedian:
"He was very proud of me. He loved this show. He was a kind man, very accepting man.
"There was not one bone of judgment in his body. He was very funny … Before he passed away I got to talk to him, so I got to say goodbye to him.”
We don"t know the exact cause of death in this case.
But the man was 92 years old.
As you can see immediately above and below, Ellen also paid tribute to her father on Twitter yesterday.
"It wasn"t unexpected," Ellen added on Instagram.
"I was able to say goodbye. When I was a kid, my dad took us on one vacation to Warner Bros. Studios. He loved this business. He loved that I was in it.
"When he died, I saw this rainbow over the stage they named for me."
Previously, Ellen has said the following to Winfrey:
"So many times over the past 15 years, people have come up to me and say to me that when they"re going through a tough time this show gets them through it.
"Today, I need you because there"s a lot going on in my life right now."
