Grey"s Anatomy Recap: Is Catherine Dying?!
Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy featured the return of Catherine Fox who was out of town dealing with her foundation and a health crisis.
It also featured her husband, Richard at his darkest moment yet, and some relationship drama for that pesky ‘ship that is Jaggie.
At the top of the hour, Meredith and Koracick were whisked off to L.A. with the aim of helping Catherine who summoned them to help out with a patient.
Once at the building Mer and Kor (It has a certain ring to it, right?!) were ordered to room with technology that you would expect in a futuristic movie.
They noticed a tumor in the vascular and nerve domains, and when the two surgeons wanted to know who the patient was, Catherine confirmed it was her.
It was a stunning twist. But Catherine didn’t want to be taken away from the ribbon cutting of the building, so she was adamant about business as usual.
The three went out for drinks, and while Catherine wanted to know whether her prognosis was grim, the doctors had no answers until results returned.
She went on to say that she couldn’t tell anything to Richard.
“I don’t know if he can handle this,” she said, which explained why she text Richard at the top of the hour to say she was spending more time in Los Angeles.
Later, as the ribbon cutting kicked off, Koracick admitted to Meredith that Catherine was suffering from cancer, and he was scared that he could not save her.
“I have no idea how remove it without paralyzing her or killing her,” he said with a sad look on his face. Grey’s really wasn’t lying with its “15 seasons of feels” promotional efforts.
As for Richard, he was going through some struggles of his own. Hell, he’s been spiraling since his sponsor died last season.
At the hospital, Nurse Frankie had some major complications with her pregnancy. After stabilizing her, she died in the O.R., and it left Richard in a horrifying situation.
He went to the bar and talked about his sobriety. The barman poured him multiple shots of vodka, and let him have at it.
But this was not the type of support Richard was looking for, so he trashed the bar and found himself in jail. How far will he spiral after his wife’s cancer diagnosis?
As for Jaggie, things took an awkward turn when Maggie noticed a woman was texting him and learned that her knight in shining armor was romancing other women.
Well, he got close with another woman while having his crisis of faith. This rubbed Maggie the wrong way, and she took it as him sleeping with other women.
Maggie claimed she thought she would be the reason their relationship fizzled out, and Jackson countered that she was the first one to run in any given situation.
Jackson went on to say that he was made he and April had the crisis of faith at different times, and that was enough for Maggie to call the time of death on the relationship.

Grey"s Anatomy Recap: Who"s Dying?
Ghosts from the past roamed the halls of Seattle Grace Memorial on Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy as Día de Muertos weighed heavily on the minds of our favorite characters.
It was all thanks to a girl named Flo who was in the hospital for surgery, so her family decided to celebrate their tradition, and it resulted in a lot of blasts from the past.
Before that, Richard pulled Meredith aside to let her know that one of his friends told him her father was dying of cancer and was in a hospice.
Gulp.
This threw Meredith for a loop as she tried to conclude whether her deadbeat father deserved to be graced with her presence one last time.
As such, she turned to Maggie because they’re as close as ever, but Meredith quickly realized the journey ahead was one she had to travel on her own.
Cece set her up on another date, and she wasted no time in talking about her issues with her father, and it rendered the whole romance a dud.
Both Link and DeLuca were in a battle for Meredith’s heart, so they were especially pissed to learn that she was still dating.
After embracing Día de Muertos, Meredith exited the hospital, but there were ghosts from the past walking the halls.
There was Derek, Lexie, George and even Meredith’s mother, Ellis. Meredith somehow found herself getting closer to Link after visiting Alex instead of her father.
Elsewhere, Miranda and Jo worked together with a woman who was planning her funeral because she was under the impression she was not getting the liver she needed in time.
A patient died, and Miranda decided to try and salvage the liver from his body because he was a match with the woman who needed the liver.
Despite the liver functioning, Alex shut the whole thing down, claiming that he couldn’t allow it to go ahead in case there were issues down the line that put the hospital under scrutiny.
But Bailey and Jo went ahead with the surgery thinking they were saving a life, and that they did. The surgery went well, and the woman survived with a new lease on life.
Jo thought Alex was going to flip out, but he loved that she was right and they got hot and heavy in his office.
Elsewhere, Betty went missing, and it threw a wrench in Teddy’s plan to tell Owen all about her carrying his child.
Yes, this storyline is going to be dragged on until the midseason finale, you guys!
Amelia, Teddy, and Owen worked together to find the teenager, but their mission was unsuccessful. They ultimately gave up when Amelia had to go to a meeting because she thought she was being triggered.
The mystery of Betty’s whereabouts will continue on next Thursday’s installment.

Johnny Depp: I Look Like This on Purpose! I"m Not Dying!!
In recent photos, Johnny Depp has looked gaunt and frail. That’s bad news if you’re a fan.
But if you’re the sort of person who happens to be concerned with Depp’s well-being, there is good news! Sources claim that he’s totally healthy, all appearances to the contrary.
So … that settles it?
Recent photo ops with fans have shown that Johnny Depp looks, well, worse for wear. Fans have remarked that the 54-year-old looks gaunt, older than his age, and even withered.
Is his health in decline?
From what a source tells Us Weekly, Johnny Depp’s health is totally fine.
“Johnny is healthy and enjoying his time on the road with his band [Hollywood Vampires].”
The band has been touring abroad, which is where so many fan photos have left fans alarmed and critics filled with schadenfreude.
An additional source tells the tabloid that Depp “purposely lost weight because he’s on tour and is trying to stay in shape.”
But clarifies that he “doesn’t have any major health issues or anything.”
Despite the harrowing accusations of domestic violence against Johnny Depp, he continues to have a large number of fans.
(That’s not actually surprising. Celebrities have diehard fans who will defend them no matter what. Hell, even Bill Cosby still has supporters)
These fans have left comments on social media, expressing their concern.
“I think my hero looks ill.”
It’s one thing to admire an actor despite their behavior. It’s another to call them your hero.
“You are one of my favorite actors and I enjoy watching you in [movies] I hope you truly are okay.”
These folks are fans — they’re not trying to be shady. They’re genuinely concerned.
“Johnny you are looking really lean. Hoping your health is good.”
Some comments were a bit more … blunt.
“This is healthy?”
Kyler Clark is a Nashville-based photographer who works as Alice Cooper’s assistand and who has been documenting the adventures of Hollywood Vampires.
On June 3, he wrote:
“He is FINE.”
You can practically feel Clark’s exhasperation.
“We move around a lot at an erratic pace and we are all f–king exhausted.”
Sure … we can understand that.
“Does ANYONE look great as soon as they open their eyes? Does anyone look great when they are sleeping?”
Well, most people don’t look like a wraith has been siphoning off their life force while they slumber. Especially when they’re posing for photos with fans.
“What about when they’ve been on a plane every day for the last month bouncing around the world? No. I know I don’t.”
Some folks couldn’t help but connect Depp’s worse-for-wear appearance with his lawsuit.
Depp’s bodyguards are suing him, claiming that he failed to pay them for months on end.
The guards allege some out-of-control drug use, where they were even tasked with wiping cocaine off of Depp’s face. Yikes.
All things considered, though, that’s not the worst accusation against Depp.
His alleged drug use played a role, ex-wife Amber Heard says, in his alleged domestic violence against her during their marriage.
Even fans who disbelieved Heard, the witnesses, and text message evidence were alarmed when Johnny Depp was accused of attacking a crew member on a film set.
Some wonder if this alleged rampant drug use is impacting both his behavior and his physical appearance.
Depp remains a controversial figure.
His central role in the upcoming The Crimes of Grindelwald film from the Harry Potter franchise is the reason that some lifelong, diehard Harry Potter fans will not be seeing it.
But it is understandable that those people who are his fans are concerned about his health.
Is it true that he’s just tired from nonstop travel and not being as young as he used to be?
Is it really the result of drug use? Or is Depp just not aging as gracefully as he might.

The Walking Dead Shocker: Who"s Dying?!
We think it’s fair to say that The Walking Dead Season 8 has been polarizing for long-time fans of the series.
With the death of Chandler Riggs’ Carl in the can, The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 13 was all about advancing the plot, and it left us with a startling revelation: Another character is about to die.
When the twist-filled episode got underway, the Hilltop was gearing up for the next round of their war against the Saviors. The villains were on their way to the Hilltop, so it was time to prepare for a fight.
We were introduced to Dr. Dana who admitted that Siddiq was all talk and of very little use to them as a medic. If you watch The Walking Dead online, you will know that Carl’s dying wish was for Siddiq to find his place in the group.
But Siddiq used this to his advantage, and Dr. Dana changed her views on him. Why the swift 180? Did she want him to stop being so passive, and stick up for himself?
Maggie and Simon had it out over the walkie-talkie, and the former made it clear that she was not opposed to offing the hostages she had. This did nothing to faze Simon.
He was more concerned about the people who were not tainted by the Hilltop, and that it was time to bring this war to a grinding halt.
Dwight tried to reason with Simon because he knew there was a possibility that Negan survived the big fight with Rick. Simon continued with the stance that it was time to fight.
Daryl showed up in a blaze of glory and sent bullets towards the villains. But things took a turn, and Tara ended up being hit by an arrow. This was moments after Dwight refused to kill her.
Maggie cut the lights, and it seemed like the Hilltoppers made their getaway, but they didn’t. It was all a ruse to get the Saviors into the open and to shoot them down.
Simon and his team left the compound, but not before Rick greeted them with some bullets. Rick’s back, and ready to fight his way to the top!
The victory became a defeat when Tobin, Dr. Dana, and some others passed away. The Saviors had infected all of their weapons, and it meant that whoever got hit was going to turn into a walker.
As the characters battled the wave of walkers, it became apparent that Tara was about to die. Daryl swore that he was going to take down Dwight, while Tara realized she would soon be dead.

The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 8 Recap: Who Is Dying?!
There’s only so long one side can have the upper hand in the war.
That was the biggest takeaway from The Walking Dead Season 8 Episode 8 which picked up in the immediate aftermath of Negan’s team managing to overthrow the walkers at the Sanctuary.
Rick realized that there was about to be a whole lot of pushback from the villains, but before he got lost in his thoughts, Carol and Jerry conveniently picked up, and they got ready to find a way to save themselves.
Everyone in Alexandria had no idea that Negan managed to get the upper hand, so things seemed to be going well for them. That all changed when Negan showed up and started yelling expletives through a megaphone.
He told the Alexandrians to form a line outside their homes, and he would spare the person who was the sorriest about everything that happened.
He threatened to bomb their homes if they did not follow his orders, and destroy the whole compound. Maggie was worried about the Saviors being there because she knew they would not come in peace.
But Maggie knew straight away that something was not right when a tree was conveniently cut down to block the path back to the compound.
That’s when a group of Saviors appeared and made it known that Negan was back and in charge.
Carl sprung into action and tried to save all the Alexandrians he could because he knew that things were going to get worse with Negan back in power.
Carl said he wanted to be the one to die for the sins of the past, but things took a turn when the bombs started exploding, and everyone worried about what was coming next.
Dwight led a group of Saviors right to Daryl, Michonne, Tara, and Rosita, before turning the gun on his people to prove to the others he was the.
The same drama was playing out at the Kingdom, and Ezekiel set off an explosion to lay waste to the place before the villains could take up residence.
Maggie went into full-blown killer mode back at Hilltop and killed the Savior who had an answer for everything.
Dwight tried to get Daryl to keep him as part of the group, or he would be killed, but Daryl only took notice when Dwight revealed that Eugene was the one who saved the Saviors.
At the conclusion, Rick and Negan fought it out, but Rick realized it was too late and made off to meet with Michonne. The final portion of the episode found Carl being struck down with a zombie bite.
Yes, the kid is dying!

Louis Tomlinson: THIS Was My Mother"s Dying Wish
In December of 2016, Louis Tomlinson was forced to say goodbye to his mother.
At the young age of 42, Johannah Deakin died of cancer.
In a statement at the time, the family said it was filled with “immeasurable sadness” as a result and “respectfully [requested] that the [they were] given time and space to grieve in private.”
A few months later, however, Tomlinson has spoken out about his late mother, talking to The Sun about one of the final things she said to him before passing away.
“My mum said, ‘You’ve got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life’s too f-cking short,"” Tomlinson told the British newspaper, adding:
“A mother’s intuition is just f-cking crazy. It always felt supernatural to me. My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted.”
The artist, of course, is referring to Zayn Malik, his former colleague in One Direction who quit the boy band back in March of 2015.
Since that departure, Malik hasn’t exactly spoken positively about his time in One Direction, either, once slamming the quartet’s music as “generic.”
He and Tomlinson even got into a Twitter dispute shortly after Malik’s announcement, prior to the entire group taking a hiatus.
But that was then.
Now, Louis says he’s taken his mother’s pleas to heart and reconciled with his former friend and fellow singer.
“I can’t stand to hold a grudge with anyone. It doesn’t sit with me right,” Tomlinson told The Sun.
“If there is any animosity, just clear the air. I met up with him and it was nice.”
Describing Malik as “just a little misunderstood,” Tomlinson says he and Zayn were especially close just a few years ago.
He doesn’t think they’ll ever be besties again, but at least they are on solid terms now.
“I could always break the rules a little bit with Zayn,” he told The Sun this week.
“So after that whole thing, it was that brotherly love. We will always have that love for each other. I can’t speak on behalf of him but we really care about each other.”
As for how he’s holding up overall in the wake of his parent’s death?
“Throughout the time after my mum died I felt the support,” he told publication, adding:
“It stretched past the fan base. People did have my back, it was a really nice feeling…
“I’m thankful that my mum pushed everything onto me because I know I’m dealing with it really well.”

Empire Season 3 Episode 13 Recap: Is Lucious Dying?!?
Empire has staged a comeback in Season 3, with storylines that are actually coherent and make us care for the characters.
On Empire Season 3 Episode 13, Lucious was shocked to hear that his condition was deteriorating and he was treated from his bed because he was not strong enough to go outside.
He lied to Cookie that he was struck down with the flu, so she used it as her opportunity to release some new music from Jamal. Jamal was initially against that, but he agreed after learning just how sketchy Lucious could be.
However, things took a turn when Cookie was interviewed about the track and opened up about her love for Lucious. She did not bank on this interview being uploaded to Empire X-Stream, and Angelo was not impressed.
A group of girls hounded the pair when they were voting and seemed a little too excited about the prospect of Cookie and Lucious rekindling their relationship. Angelo, stormed off, leaving Cookie alone.
Later, Anika visited Cookie after receiving death threats from Thirsty and Lucious. She asked Cookie to look after Bell if anything ever happened to her. Yes, these two women actually have a thing in common: Their love for their family.
Cookie agreed, with Anika saying she knew Cookie still loved Lucious, even though Cookie tried to deny it. This prompted Cookie to think about her past and the good times she had with Lucious.
Elsewhere, Hakeem struggled to come to terms with the news that he was being sued after the woman was attacked at his birthday celebrations. Thirsty decided to go forward with deposing the woman.
Hakeem was upset that Thirsty went too far and decided to release a song about being nice to women. Cookie and Jamal seemed to think he needed to do this to show off that he was not a misogynist like his music seemed to imply he was.
While all of this was going on, Nessa was introduced to Giuliana, who asked if it would be okay if she could stop by for a threesome. We wish we were kidding about that last part.
Nessa was shocked to learn Andre was saying they had an open relationship and questioned him about it. He said that was how he did business, but Nessa said she was not Rhonda and would not stand for it.
Andre then went to a board meeting with the proposals for the Vegas residency, but Lucious shot it down. The board members decided it was a good idea to go with Andre’s plan and Lucious was shocked to the core.
Finally, Angelo was revealed to be the winner of the election, and Lucious showed up to crash the party. He sang a song he wrote for Cookie that made her remember the good times. Did she fall back in love with him? It sure seemed that way.
Giuliana showed up, and there was an immediate connection between her and Lucious.

D.L. Hughley Slams Debbie Reynolds for Dying
D.L. Hughley has given Internet users an actual reason to be upset.
Over the past couple days, Hollywood has been hit by a pair of tragedies.
First, Carrie Fisher died from complications related to a heart attack she suffered on Friday, December 23.
Then, incredibly/shockingly/depressingly, Debbie Reynolds died just one day later, succumbing to a stroke within 24 hours of saying goodbye to her only child.
Talk about heartbreaking.
In light of these terrible events, an endless array of stars took to social media in order to express their sadness and condolences.
Most of these Tweets were of the expected variety, as actors, actresses and singers told stories about Fisher and paid her tribute online.
But there were a few exceptions.
Alec Baldwin, for example, used Fisher’s passing as a chance to once again throw shade at Donald Trump and how unqualified he is to be President of the United States.
Steve Martin was taken to task for a Tweet simply because it referred to Fisher as a “beautiful creature,” with critics coming down so hard on the comedian that he had to delete his message.
Cinnabon exploited Fisher’s death to cite her “buns” and share a pretty hilarious photo of a pastry superimposed over her famous Princess Leia hairdo. (The company eventually apologized for the error in judgment.)
Then there was Charlie Sheen, who simply asked God to kill Donald Trump next.
Those were the Tweets that drew the most outrageous reactions.
But Hughley has now stepped forward and put them all to shame.
Or, to be more specific, Hughley has now stepped forward to bring a lifetime of shame upon himself.
While most celebrities (and warm-blooded human beings in general) have reacted to Reynolds’ passing with nothing but stunned grief, Hughley has instead taken the unusual path of actually blaming the veteran actress.
For dying.
Yes, D.L. Hughley has slammed Debbie Reynolds for being too weak to survive without her daughter.
He’s also managed to bring race into the equation.
“Debbie Reynolds died a day after her daughter did!” wrote Hughley, contrasting this event with the way African-Americans women respond to the death of their children and writing:
“Black Mama’s don’t die cuz they kids do!They cry and say God don’t make no mistakes!”
No, really. Look below. He actually Tweeted this:
Hughley didn’t back down upon receiving backlash for the message, either.
Upon being told that he basically sucks as a person and comedian, Hughley shot back to one critic as follows:
That’s one take on life, we suppose.
Some might say that Hughley is just “keeping it real,” while others might say:
WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING, MAN??!?!?!?
WHY ON EARTH ARE YOU BRINGING UP RACE AND HOW ON EARTH ARE YOU BLAMING ANYONE FOR DYING, LET ALONE SOMEONE WHO JUST LOST HER CHILD?
You know, either or. Reaction could go either way.
If Hughley is looking for a more sympathetic way to respond to someone’s death, may we suggest the following messages?
Or Hughley could have just said nothing at all.
It may take some stars by surprise, but there’s no requirement to comment on a fellow celebrity’s death.
This is advice that many people on social media would do well to follow.

In the United Kingdom, a man named Mark took to Facebook to reveal the news that his dog would be saying goodbye and that he would be taking him to the beach for one final walk.

He posted this announcement on Facebook and things took a turn when #walkwithwalnut begun trending and it paved the way for some sad scenes at the beach, as hundreds of people and their dogs gathered to say farewell.

Michael Jackson: Dying Wish Revealed?!
It’s hard to believe that it’s been more than seven years since Michael Jackson passed away unexpectedly at the age of 50.
In that time his two eldest children have matured into young adults, and his youngest has entered adolescence.
Though he’s best known to most of us as the King of Pop, insiders say that in his final years, Jackson’s top priority was being the best father he could be to Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket.
And it seems that desire was reflected in his dying wish, which shows that the future of Jackon’s children weighed heavily on his mind in his final days.
Sources close to the Jackson family recently revealed that Michael made a very specific final request in the week leading up to his fatal heart attack.
Jackson reportedly asked that his close friend Diana Ross remain a constant presence in the lives of his children.
While Michael made his mother, Katherine Jackson, the kids’ guardian, Ross has apparently served as a sort of mentor and second grandmother.
“Diana admits that Michael’s kids are a ‘constant concern’ for her,” a source close to the family tells Radar.
Ross is reportedly deeply concerned with how the children are coping with the media scrutiny that’s been a constant in their lives from birth, and seems to have only become more intense in the years since their father’s passing.
Sources say Ross is particularly concerned with the well-being of 18-year-old Paris.
Though it’s been over three years since Paris attempted suicide, sources she continues to experience symptoms of her various emotional afflictions.
With more than six decades in the spotlight, Ross is well acquainted with the perils of fame, and insiders say she sees reflections of her younger self in Paris.
“Diana really believes Paris needs to be in long-term therapy because she’s never really come to terms with her feelings about her father’s death,”a source tells Radar.
While Michael’s life was beset by tragedy and ended prematurely, the mega-star would no doubt be happy to know his beloved children are well-cared for by a strong support network.
“A lot of people call [Ross] a diva, but she’s proven to be a good mother to her own five children, and she continues to fight for the well-being of Michael’s kids,” says the insider.

Sara Foster Slams Former Stepmom Yolanda Foster: "You"re Not Dying!"
If you watch their show, Barely Famous, you know that David Foster’s daughters don’t mince words.
While their comedic timing is great, Sara and Erin Foster aren’t afraid to be brutally honest when defending their dad, who announced his separation from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ Yolanda Foster on December 1st, 2015.
Yolanda has been public about her battle with Lyme disease, which she was diagnosed with in 2013.
The Foster girls, however, could do without the social media updates.
“It’s not for us to comment on, only she knows her journey, but what I will say is, if you’re capable of continuing to be on a reality show, you’re not dying — let’s be honest,” Sara, 35, said candidly during a Wednesday appearance on SiriusXM’s Dirty, Sexy Funny with Jenny McCarthy.
“I know sick people. I’ve been to Children’s Hospital. I’ve seen children who are f–king dying, so it’s not easy for me.”
Erin, 33, interjected, telling McCarthy that neither sister wishes “anyone ill will of any kind. She did, however, bring up the fact that they weren’t comfortable with Yolanda’s Instagrams, most of which showed her getting treatment for the disease.
“No one wants everyone to know how sick they are and everyone to see how much they are struggling,” Erin added.
“And when that seems to be the focus, of making sure everyone sees how sick you are, that’s just confusing to someone that is trying to be supportive.”
After all is said and done, the girls are sticking by David.
“To be honest with you, our loyalty is to our dad, he’s a really good guy,” Sara said.
“For no one to come to his defense, it was unfortunate. …
“[My dad] will give the shirt off his back to you, to you, to you. To anyone in this room.”

Courtney Stodden Stars As Sexy Dying Mouse For Obscure PETA Protest
I am all for animal rights, but when it gets to a point where I don"t understand what exactly we"re fighting for, then it"s time to go back to the drawing board.
This is more or less what happened on April 14th in Los Angeles, where Courtney Stodden dressed up as a "dying" sexy mouse, complete with a wig, a white leotard with a tail, and thigh high stockings.
Oh, and white stripper heels.
Stodden posed for a few photos before taking her place in front of a PetSmart, where she lay splattered in blood as protestors surrounded her with signs reading "Animals Frozen Alive at PetSmart Suppliers."
Stodden took to her own Instagram to publicize the cause.
"Hopefully this protest against #petsmart will get them to "SMARTen" up," the Mother/Daughter experiment star wrote.
"The suppliers that they get their animals from abuse, neglect & torture these innocent lives… yet Petsmart continues to ignore the cruel truth. It"s time for a change. Don"t buy while animals die! @peta #animalrights."
PETA sent out their own press release to explain the protest.
"Courtney Stodden is dying for PetSmart to stop selling animals. So she dressed as a sweet mouse, went to a PetSmart store in Los Angeles, and "died" on the sidewalk," the statement read.
The reality star "wanted to get involved after a 15-week PETA investigation revealed that a PetSmart supplier was gassing animals in plastic bags and setting them aside "to die and waste away," as one of the supplier’s supervisors put it.
"Another recent PETA exposé of a supplier revealed that small animals were warehoused in plastic bins and rodents were crammed into plastic bags and frozen alive."
The organization, which once threw flour on Kim Kardashian during a red carpet appearance, published a quote from Stodden.
“It’s heartbreaking to think that countless mice, rats, bunnies, and lizards are dying in filthy bins for PetSmart’s stores,” said Courtney. “My friends at PETA and I urge everyone to refuse to shop anywhere that sells live animals!”
If I want to learn how to prevent animal cruelty, I"ll turn to the ASPCA.
If I want to be entertained and forget exactly what I"m fighting for, I"ll watch a PETA campaign.

Celine Dion: Brother Dying of Cancer, Given Just Hours to Live
It’s been an unimaginably horrific week for one of the world’s most beloved singers.
Yesterday, Celine Dion’s husband, Rene Angelil died of cancer, and now, doctors say her beloved brother may have just hours to live.
Like Angelil, 59-year-old Daniel Dion has been battling throat cancer.
Sources say the cancer has been spreading rapidly, and his family has been informed that it’s only a matter of time.
“It looks a lot like René, he had cancer of the throat, tongue and brain,” says Claudette Dion, another of the singer’s 13 siblings. “Our family is very experienced.”
She adds, “He is 59 years old, very young to be the end of life…We are with Daniel, day and night.”
Celine has reportedly canceled all of her upcoming concerts in Las Vegas in order to be by Daniel’s side and help her family with funeral arrangements once he passes.
Claudette says doctors informed the family that Daniel has just “a matter of days or hours,” but adds that he could pull through for another week.
The family has made the difficult decision to discontinue the medications that were keeping him alive, and they say their top priority now is ensuring that Daniel is comfortable.
