Christmas Abbott Speaks Out After Arrest: People Are Lying About Me!
Big Brother alum Christmas Abbott was arrested for an alleged attack on her baby daddy’s side piece.
Now, she isn’t hitting back at the allegations directly, but she’s put up a cryptic post.
Christmas is implying that there is more to the story that the public doesn’t know.
Fresh after news spread about her arrest, Christmas Abbott took to her Instagram stories to share a cryptic message.
“There are lies & truth to every story,” her post begins.
“And,” she says. “I’ll share mine when I’m ready.”
If you are part of an ongoing legal matter, publicly commenting is generally considered unwise by any decent attorney.
“Until then,” Christmas continues. “I am being proactive with taking care of my responsibilities to have this matter [resolved].”
Christmas makes it clear where she’ll be directing her attention in the near future.
“I’m focused on providing for Loyal,” she reports.
Her one-month-old baby, Loyal Atticus, should definitely be her primary concern.
“And,” Christmas says, she will be “recovering from a very emotionally challenging pregnancy & difficult delivery.”
No childbirth is easy, but it sounds like she really had a hard time with it.
“Being a single mother is challenging enough,” she writes. “Without the world having an opinion on a situation they know nothing about.”
Christmas’ post may be vague, but her meaning is no mystery.
As we reported earlier this week, the Big Brother alum was arrested after allegedly attacking her baby daddy’s side piece.
According to reports, she confronted the woman, and then “rammed another vehicle multiple times.”
“[Abbott] came to the gym to confront her child’s father’s romantic partner,” documents say.
“Once there, she threw a coffee cup and caused a scene,” the report continues.
“The suspect entered her Mercedes-Benz SUV and proceeded to ram the victim’s vehicle twice,” the document reports.
It concludes: “This caused over $ 5,000 worth of damage to the victim’s vehicle.”
Christmas has had more to say on Instagram this week, however.
“How could I ever get enough of that sweet smile?!” she wrote on Wednesday, beside two sweet glimpses of her wee little baby.
“I literally can stare and watch him all day long,” she confesses. “Just to watch him & maybe see a lil laugh or giggle.”
That’s why they’re so cute, folks.
Christmas gushes: “He simply lights up my heart & makes me so fulfilled!”
She made this post at the same time that everyone was reading about her arrest.
But she made it clear that she just wanted to rave about her baby, not address her rap sheet.
“No teaching point on this post,” Christmas writes.
“Just some simple love & appreciation for my son,” she clarifies. “And all that he brings into my life.”
“There’s moments that are hard as hell,” she admits. “But countless more that are priceless.”
Some might cynically say that Christmas was trying to distract from the alleged vehicular attack by using her baby’s cuteness.
We hope that we do not have to explain that someone allegedly cheating on you is not an excuse for property damage.
In fact, it’s not much of an excuse for anything except a breakup. You can write a diss track if you like.
The fact that Christmas is accused of having confronted her baby daddy’s alleged side piece makes this even worse.
Any cheater — if he really was cheating — should be ashamed, but that other woman doesn’t owe Christmas the time of day.
That said, Christmas was very pregnant at the time of the incident.
While it doesn’t excuse her behavior, hormones can do wild things to a person’s mind.
Her state of mind should probably be taken into consideration if Christmas ends up facing any criminal penalties.

Travis Scott Speaks at Beto O"Rourke Rally: Watch!
Years ago, we would never have expected to say this, but … Kylie Jenner makes better relationship decisions than her sister Kim.
Beto O"Rourke"s campaign for Senate has attracted national attention, in part because he is looking to unseat Ted Cruz.
As you"ll see in the video we"ve included, Travis Scott returned to his hometown to support O"Rourke"s campaign.
On Sunday, October 28, Travis Scott appeared at the Bayland Park Community Center in his hometown of Houston, Texas.
He was there to drum up support for Beto O"Rourke.
"You just need to go out, hit these polls …" Travis encouraged the crowd while speaking with a microphone.
"We need to just tell our peers, man," he continued. "To like step out and vote."
Travis assured those who had gathered: "We can change the world."
Travis is from Houston. In fact, his family still lives there.
Famously, he and Kylie were spotted in Houston after news of her pregnancy broke, as he introduced her to his family.
Kylie"s baby daddy was not the only celebrity who was there to promote O"Rourke.
NFL player Arian Foster, another Houston native, was there to drum up support.
O"Rourke tweeted a photo, writing: "Houston"s @trvisXX and @ArianFoster! Big thanks to both"
There is often a narrative that celebrity endorsements are a form of outside influence.
(This is a narrative pushed by the political Right, whose celebrity endorsements tend to be rarer and much stranger)
O"Rourke"s campaign side-stepped this issue by being endorsed by Houston"s native sons while in the city itself.
A Texan, celebrity or not, supporting a candidate in Texas is the furthest thing from "outside influence."
If elected, O"Rourke will be part of the face that Texas shows to the world.
Beto O"Rourke was instantly likeable to many because he is running against Ted Cruz.
Dislike of Cruz is not a partisan issue — it is one thing that united Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.
O"Rourke gained national attention when the GOP tweeted a photo of him from years ago when he was in a band.
This was a huge misfire by political strategists, who hoped to show Beto as a young musician and not a serious politician.
Instead, people around the country just noticed that O"Rourke was both cool and hot.
That"s O"Rourke on the left. People who have never set foot in Texas in their lives saw this photo had had sex dreams about him.
But we have a sneaking suspicion that sex appeal is not why Travis Scott is endorsing the guy.
Instead, Travis Scott wants a better country for himself and his family than the one that we currently inhabit.
Violence, bigotry, and vitriol fill the news every week.
This has to be particularly concerning to Travis because he is now the father of an almost-nine-month-old child.
Travis wants a better future for Stormi.
A couple of years ago, when Kylie was dating Tyga, we would never have imagined that we"d be praising her partner.
Instead, look at Kim"s marriage to a MAGA-hat-wearing impulsive man-child who won"t listen to anyone.
Kanye is embarrassing his loved ones with his antics. Even Caitlyn Jenner admits that Trump sucks.
Travis Scott seems to have a good head on his shoulders and to be a good person.
Sometimes, people find it difficult to feel optimistic about midterm elections.
The answer is to vote, whether you feel enthusiastic about it or not. Do your part to make the world a better place.

Justin Theroux Finally Speaks on "Gentle" Jennifer Aniston Split
No one told Justin Theroux his life was gonna be this way.
His job isn’t a joke. The guy definitely isn’t broke. And his love life, when it comes to Jennifer Aniston, was not DOA.
But the marriage was put to sleep back in February of this year, as the famous couple ended their union after two and a half years.
Did it die a slow and painful death, though?
The former Leftover lead has said next to nothing about his split from America’s Sweetheart, remaining almost entirely mum on the topic until speaking to The New York Times for an article that went viral on Saturday.
“The good news is that was probably the most – I’m choosing my words really carefully – it was kind of the most gentle separation, in that there was no animosity,” the 47-year old told the publication.
He added:
“In a weird way, just sort of navigating the inevitable perception of it is the exhausting part.”
That perception, of course, is that someone cheated.
Or there was some huge and ugly falling out.
Or, of course, that Aniston just wants to get back together with Brad Pitt and this romance was destined to fail.
Theroux and Aniston must have known that this is the sort of stuff people would say once they announced their divorce, so at least they were prepared to deal with the fallout.
In reality, however, Theroux says here that the break-up did not come about due to any one significant issue.
Rather, there were many small cracks that eventually led to an unfixable fissure.
“These are actually in reality small events that take place,” he said, explaining as best he could to The Times:
“But everything can feel like 10 on the Richter scale if you make the headline big enough and salacious enough.”
Sources at the time mostly blamed the split on different lifestyles and different visions of the future.
Aniston wanted to live full-time in Los Angeles, for example, while Theroux preferred New York.
Now, seven months later, Theroux says he’s adjusting well, noting that breakups in Hollywood are different because of what he refers to as a “kind of carny lifestyle” with frequent scenery changes.
“[It] doesn’t have that seismic shift of an ordinary couple, where everything is, like, you have to tear a baby in half,” he said.
“Neither one of us is dead, neither one of us is looking to throw hatchets at each other. It’s more like, it’s amicable. It’s boring, but, you know, we respected each other enough that it was as painless as it could be.”
That really is pretty boring.
Yet it also makes sense.
It must be challening to keep a spark lit when each half of the couple has such a busy schedule and is traveling so often.
“It was heartbreaking only in the sense that the friendship would not be the same, as far as just the day to day,” he concluded.
“But the friendship is shifting and changing, you know, so that part is something that we’re both very proud of.”
For her part, Aniston has clapped back against most of the BS out there.
“It’s pretty crazy,” she said in August. “The misconceptions are ‘Jen can’t keep a man,’ and ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.
“Or that I’m sad and heartbroken.”
Having dealth with rumors about her womb and her love life forever and ever, Aniston rightfully went off this summer as follows:
First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken.
And second, those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me.
They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.

Demi Lovato"s Drug Dealer Actually Speaks on Near-Fatal Overdose
The man who allegedly sold Demi Lovato the drugs that nearly ended her life has actually stopped on the sidewalk and given an interview.
And he’s talked rather openly about the entire situation as well.
Over the past week or so, reports have identified Brandon Johnson as the dealer with whom Lovato had supposedly worked since April.
The two had developement a pretty close relationship that some outlets even claimed cross over from professional… to plutonic… to sexual.
Jacobs had just recently gotten arrested prior to meeting Demi — and has been under fire (even more fire than comes the way of most drug dealers, that is) because there’s a rumor floating around that Lovato took tainted drugs.
This is to say, Demi may have been unaware that the substance she was given had been laced with fentanyl.
Was this the case, TMZ asked Johnson when the website grabbed a few moments with him over the weekend?
The artist “100% she knew what she was taking,” Johnson tells TMZ, adding:
“I disclosed to her that these were not pharmaceutical. There were after market drugs, they were much stronger. She understood fully.”
Johnson would very obviously be an example of the kind of toxic acquiantance that Demi let into her life since she fell off the wagon this past spring.
He says the two had a “flirty friendship” that did, at times, becomes a “sexual” relationship and that they occasionally “messed around.”
Why did she text him at 4 a.m. the night of July 23, after going out with some friends to celebrate a birthday and then going back to her home with a select few of them?
“Cause she’s a girl and she wanted to kick it,” he said.
What did he and Lovato during at this late hour?
“We hung out. We watched our detective shows as usual… she sometimes has such long days, stressful hours and a stressful job” and she needs to relax.
Johnson admitted that he and Demi also took drugs together, but he didn’t get into any specifics and he claimed to not even have known what the drugs were mixed with.
Moreover, Lovato was a “little drunk” when he showed up, this shady individual confirms, but he tucked her in and left around 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. after she appears to be safely in bed, asleep.
“I’m not here to hurt anybody. I care for her very much,” the drug dealer told TMZ, concluding:
“I care for her a lot. I hope she comes through this better than she was before she got into it.”
Last we heard, Lovato was doing pretty well in rehab.
She is at an undisclosed location and she will remain there for an extensive period of time; the rest of the year, at minimum, according to various insiders.
When she gets out, she’d be wise to continue therapy in some fashion; to rely on her family members and long-term friends; and to never contact anyone such as Johnson ever again.

Sarah Drew Finally Speaks Out on Grey"s Anatomy Firing!
This year’s Grey’s Anatomy casting shocker impacted a lot of fans. Some even proposed a boycott of the series.
Fans were not happy to see April leave the series. And no one was more disappointed than the actress herself, Sarah Drew.
For the first time, she is speaking out in detail about how the news was broken to her, how she reacted, and what she wishes had been different.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Drew finally details how she found out that she was leaving Grey’s Anatomy.
First of all, she explains the reason that she was given.
“I was told that the show had too many characters,” Drew reveals. “And that they needed to downsize because they couldn’t service all of the characters effectively.”
So we shouldn’t blame Ellen Pompeo and her huge salary, in other words.
Drew explains: “They didn’t want any of us to be left in the background and not getting much of a story.”
Writing a book and writing a TV series are not the same, and have different considerations because there are real people involved.
Drew also shares that a showrunner explained why her character in particular went to the chopping block.
“Krista Vernoff said that she felt like April had been through so much and had come out the other side,” Drew says. “And that she didn’t know what she could put her through again.”
Viewers are familiar with watching a beloved character suffer again and again and wanting them to get their happily ever after.
Well, shows are built on conflict. Most characters don’t get a happily ever after and to get to stay on the show.
“It was really hard to hear that,” Drew admits. “But Krista had a lot of very complimentary things to say about the work that I had done — especially this past season — and that April was going to have her happy ending.”
The news was, of course, difficult to take.
“It was in the afternoon and I went back to my trailer and I did my crying and called my people,” Drew shares. “A whole bunch of people came into my trailer to give me hugs and cry with me and tell me they were so sad I was leaving.”
Thta sounds devastating.
“I was supposed to be shadowing Kevin this whole episode with the hope that I would get to direct an episode of Grey’s,” Drew reveals. “But [after being let go] it seemed like wasn’t a possibility anymore.”
She says that her Emmy nomination was a source of comfort.
“My confidence had gotten a bit shaken in the wake of being let go,” Drew confesses. “And the nomination after the fact made me go, ‘I don’t need to be worried about anything or have my confidence shaken.”
Like many Japril shippers who watched at home, Drew had imagined that things would go differently for her character.
“In the midst of it, I was devastated that Jackson (Jesse Williams) and April wasn’t an end game,” Drew confesses.
She thought that April would be looking into those famously beautiful eyes for the rest of her life.
“I thought Jackson and April were meant to get back together,” Drew admits. “And they were going to get married again and realize they’d been crazy and it was just going to be this long, slow burn.”
So many viewers have been there.
Drew acknowledges: “But after thinking about it, there’s a real sweetness to that story of April’s faith.”
Drew says: “She ran off with Jackson and loved him and wouldn’t regret a single second of that relationship because it made her heart grow and she got a beautiful daughter out of it.”
“She grew as a woman and as a person of faith,” Drew affirms. “All of that had to happen.”
That was not endgame for the character, however.
“But,” Drew says. “There was something beautiful about the redemption story between April and Matthew.”
When the show you love doesn’t end a character or storyline the way that you’d like, well, that’s why fanfiction exists.

Kourtney Kardashian-Younes Bendjima Split Gets Ugly as Side-Piece Speaks Out!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima have called it quits after dating for much, much longer than anyone expected them to.
Proving once again that the eldest Kardashian sister has the absolute worst taste in men, Younes allegedly cheated on Kourtney while she ignored some textbook warning signs.
You’d think that after ten years with Scott Disick, she’d be more savvy about this sort of thing, but maybe all that time with the Lord has caused Kourt to lower her standards.
Like, as long as a guy is in the same country as her, and he’s not currently hospitalized for alcohol poisoning, that’s good enough.
Anyway, Kourt and Younes have called it quits, and the spilt should be an amicable one, as Bendjima was clearly just a rebound dude who overstayed his welcome.
Then again, Kourtney has been in exactly one serious relationship in her adult life, and that ex fell madly in love with his very next love interest, so she may have gone into this thing with high hopes.
Whatever the case, the relationship is now over, and by all accounts, it ended in ugly fashion.
Sources concur that Younes was caught cheating on Kourtney, an allegation he strongly denies.
Instead, the male model says he was unceremoniously kicked to the curb.
“Kourtney was the one who initiated the split,” he recently claimed.
Younes has confirmed that “Kourtney was the one who initiated the split,” but he takes issue with media outlets who want to “wanna make me the bad guy.”
“Once again you guys failed,” Bendjima wrote on Instagram this week.
“I’m not attached to this ‘life’ so you can’t touch me. I know who I am and where I’m from and where I’m going and that bothers you.”
Shortly after the split, Younes was spotted partying with former Hooters waitress and Kardashian groupie Jordan Ozuna, who was previously linked to both Tyga and Justin Bieber.
Ozuna has now issued a statement claiming that she and Younes are just friends.
“Younes and I are not involved romantically at all,” she wrote.
“We were both invited to Mexico for a mutual friend’s birthday party with 13 other people.”
The abrupt end to the relationship, coupled with the fact that Younes reportedly awfully friendly with Younes seem to support the cheating rumors, but some insiders claim otherwise:
“Near the end of the relationship, the two weren’t getting along and the age difference ultimately played a part,” one source tells E! News.
“Younes is young, and although mature for his age, he and Kourtney are at different stages in their lives.”
Well, hopefully, these two can just go their separate ways, and maybe one day they’ll reflect fondly on their time together.
Whatever the case, at least they don’t have kids together.
Sadly, Kourt is shackled to Disick’s drunk ass for life.

Matt Roloff Speaks on Audrey: Is She Pregnant?!?

The Little People, Big World patriarch is aware of what many fans out there are thinking at the moment.
He apparently reads the Internet and is plugged in to the gossip circles and he knows what you’re wondering right now:
Is Audrey Roloff pregnant with her second child?
Chatter surrounding the status of Audrey’s womb is running rampant this week… and it’s sort of all her father’s fault.
A few days ago, you see, Matt Roloff shared a very sweet photo on Instagram, giving followers a sort of candid look at Audrey, husband Jeremy and daughter Ember.
As you can see below, Audrey is laughing and Jeremy is holding his child aloft, all while the immediate family hangs out at Roloff Farms.
Matt then wrote as an affiliated caption:
Today was a crazy day. …. I could explain. But better to just leave it at that. Im going to sleep a happy grandpa.
Interesting and sort of intriguing, right?
Why was Matt happy? Why did he deem the day to be crazy?
According to Radar Online, it was because Audrey and Jeremy had gathered their loved ones together that afternoon and announced they were expecting a sibling for Ember.
Hooray, right?!?
Not so fast, Matt now appears to be clarifying.
“Oh my goodness… my last post was much more innocent then the stir it caused,” the veteran reality star wrote on Thursday, adding:
“let me explain… had a long day with equipment breakdowns, setting up pumpkin season stuff etc etc.. so after a crazy day I’m sitting on my back deck with a few friends and Jeremy, Audrey and Ember pull up to say hi and watch the sunset with us..
“The joys of being a grandpa…. moments like that.”
Oh. Well. Darn.
Matt ended his latest message with the following joke in a caption of a truly harmless image:
“Now… before everyone goes crazy again… this photo is simply me getting all the landscaping power tools cleaned up and ready to go.”
Har, har, Matt.
All this said, it still wouldn’t shock us if Audrey and Jeremy do announce another baby is on the way in the near future.
Their schedule is pretty clear going forward if they want to have unprotected sex around the clock and give it a shot, as the couple will NOT be returning to Little People, Big World.

After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come.
A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last. It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride.
We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun.
We will still be supporting the family as they carry the #LPBW torch onward. This is a decision concerning Audrey and me specifically – the show must go on!
We have a lot of exciting stuff in the works and are eager to continue the work that the Lord has called us to.
Whether or not this means another kid some time, we’ll need to wait to find out!

Ariana Grande Speaks Out About Pete Davidson"s Manchester Bombing Joke: It Wasn"t Funny ...
Recently, the world was reminded that, many months before dating Ariana Grande, Pete Davidson made an unfortunate joke about the Manchester Bombing.
Ariana’s fans, understandably sensitive to the issue, reacted with shock.
Now, after giving it some thought, Ariana is speaking out.
In the autumn of 2017, Pete Davidson put his gallows humor on full display when speaking about Ariana Grande in stand-up.
At the time, he and Ariana were not even dating, let alone engaged.
He joked that the horrible Manchester bombing of Ariana’s concert in 2017 had been a measure of the level of Ariana’s fame.
“Britney Spears,” Pete noted for contrast. “Didn’t have a terrorist attack at her concert.”
It wasn’t terribly funny as a joke and, since Britney was doing her Vegas residency at the time, the comparison doesn’t really work, either.
But more or less everyone forgot about it … until a few days ago, when people dredged it up again now that Pete and Ariana are engaged.
A number of fans, who took the Manchester bombing very personally, were shocked.
(Keep in mind that, not only is a terrorist attack that kills multiple children serious, but a number of Ariana’s fans are too young to remember 9/11 and this may have been their first brush with non-shooting terrorism that touched them, personally)
It was one tweet by an Arianator that prompted Ariana to speak her mind on Pete’s joke.
The fan wrote: “I respect Ariana and I want her to be happy and everything, but she was just broken after the Manchester bombing.”
The fan’s tweet continues: “so I don’t know why she is still with Pete, like yeah he made that joke a while ago, but like it’s not funny, it’s just rude. This is my opinion.”
Ariana clearly gave this some thought before replying.
Ariana replied with a tweet of her own.
“This has been very tough & conflicting on my heart,” Ariana admits.
Referring to Pete, she writes that “he uses comedy to help people feel better about how f-ed up things in this world are.”
He sure does.
“We all deal w trauma differently,” Ariana admits.
She’s right. Different coping mechanisms for different folks.
“I of course didn’t find it funny,” she admits.
“it was months ago & his intention wasn’t/ is never malicious,” Ariana says. “But it was unfortunate.”
There are a few things that we should all remember.
One, Pete Davidson’s father died on 9/11. He absolutely does not think that terrorism is funny, but he uses dark humor to cope.
Two, though this was a bad joke (honestly, barely a joke), there are lines that Pete is not crossing. He’s not wishing a terrorist attack on someone else, for example. He’s not hurling slurs.
Three, somebody making a crappy joke before you ever dated is really not breakup material. Sure, you can break up for any reason, but that would be … odd.
Four, and this can be the hardest to grasp, but the way that Pete spoke before dating Ariana was directed at a more adult audience.
Now that he and Ariana are engaged, he will probably be more conscious that there are impressionable and emotional teens hanging onto his every word.
Ariana and Pete’s whirlwind romance has still caught a number of fans by surprise.
In fact, it was at Ariana’s tribute to the Manchester bombing victims that she and Pete were first spotted cozying up to each other.
Now the two are engaged, and it is understandable that some fans are still scratching their heads and trying to figure out what’s going on.
Some may even have misgivings about Ariana accepting the proposal of this man whom they barely know.
But they should remember that, though Ariana loves her Arianators, they are not literally her family. She does not actually need their permission to date or marry.

Portia de Rossi Speaks Out on Ellen DeGeneres Divorce Rumors
Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have been dogged by rumors of a $ 220 million divorce for years. Even so, they celebrated their 9th anniversary last fall.
But they’re very aware that reportings of an alleged impending divorce are circulating. And Portia is speaking up about them.
Though she acknowledges that it might sound strange, she finds those rumors encouraging.
Portia de Rossi spoke to Us Weekly about how she really feels about the perennial divorce rumors that follow her and her wife, Ellen.
“The divorce rumors came,” Portia says. “And then we really knew the perceptions had changed.”
The perceptions regarding gay marriage, she means.
Portia makes it clear that she is not cracking a joke, saying: “I’m not kidding.”
She explains why seeing rumors about her marriage felt oddly affirming … but is the first to admit that it seems counterintuitive.
“I know it sounds ridiculous,” Portia admits.
Portia continues: “But when that started happening I thought, ‘Oh, now we’re finally accepted.’”
That actually does make sense.
Portia explains: “We get the same s–t as every celebrity couple.”
In other words, people weren’t writing about her and Ellen’s marriage as if it were some strange novelty, either fraudulent or untouchable.
Instead, they were just circulating bogus reports about their lives, just like they would do for straight couples.
“Wow,” Portia remarks about tabloid rumors. “This is great that I’m pregnant, not pregnant, divorced, not divorced, whatever.”
Because what it means is that attitudes have shifted. Eric Trump may think Ellen’s part of the non-existent “Deep State,” but not directly because she’s gay.
“That means,” Portia explains. “There is an acceptance for this.”
And that’s wonderful.
Portia says that she and Ellen don’t exactly laugh off rumors about their marriage.
“I was at a newsstand …” Portia says, describing how she and Ellen respond to rumors about other couples. “And there was a cover of Brad and Jen.”
Since Jennifer Aniston’s split with Justin Theroux, many nostalgic shippers have wished for her to reunite with Brad Pitt.
“I literally just stared at it, and I was like, ‘They haven’t seen each other. … How is this even a thing? I know for a fact.’ …” Portia says.
“I actually took a picture of it,” Portia reveals. “And sent it to Ellen and said, ‘Can you believe this?’”
But while her disbelief at that time prompted a reaction, she says that they don’t let rumors about themselves get under their skin.
“Anyway, no, in other words, we avoid it,” Portia says of divorce rumors. “We don’t care.”
That sounds like a very healthy attitude!
Portia also spoke to People about how she regrets discouraging Ellen from doing stand-up.
“I shouldn’t say this,” Portia begins. That’s always a great way to start an interview. “But the truth is, I was kind of discouraging her from going back to stand-up.”
That’s a stunning revelation.
“Not because she is not brilliant at it,” Portia clarifies. “But she has a job … right?! And it is a full-time job.”
Portia continues: “She is so busy, and I knew that having to write her own material for an hour stand-up special, and travel with it, was going to be exhausting.”
Sometimes loving someone means advising them to not test their limits. Especially when they’re 60 years old.
“So I was suggesting that she put it on hold until she was done with her talk show,” Portia explains. “But, my wife is very impatient, and, a little like me, once she has an idea she just can’t shake it, and she just has to see it through.”
That is probably why Ellen is so successful. Why they both are.
“I am happy to say that I was wrong,” Portia says.
Portia is not afraid to admit when she is mistaken.
“I was really wrong, because it has given her energy, it has invigorated her,” Portia says of Ellen.
Just imagining all of that makes some of us want to take a nap, but not Ellen.
“And I had actually never seen her on-stage and doing stand-up before,” Portia admits. “I’ve seen her specials, but never in the flesh, and she is really good.”
That is so sweet!

Chloe Dykstra Speaks Out After Chris Hardwick Denies Allegations
Last week, Chris Hardwick was accused of emotional abuse and sexual assault by his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra. She didn’t name him, but readers were easily able to connect the dots.
Hardwick strongly denied the horrifying accusations, which included claims of intensely controlling behavior, of using her sexually, of sickening emotional manipulation, and of working to end her career after their breakup.
Now that a week has passed, Chloe is opening up about what the powerful responses to her story meant to her.
“It’s been an intense couple of days,” Chloe writes on Instagram. “I have a few final words to say before moving forward. The link is in my bio. Sending love to all.”
That link leads to Twitter, where Chloe prefaces her lengthy and heartfelt words.
“Thank you all,” she tweets. “From the bottom of my heart.”
This is when her actual message begins.
“Thank you all so, so much, Chloe writes. “The outpouring of support and love I’ve received over the past few days has been incredible and unexpected.”
Unexpected because so many women who accuse famous, popular men of misdeeds end up villified, harassed, threatened, and even doxxed by angry fans.
“The people who have come forward with both stories validating mine,” Chloe writes, she sends her thanks.
Many on social media responded by saying that they had been through an experience similar to the one that she described.
In addition to the validation, Chloe appreciates the people who sent “stories of their own personal experiences.”
That, she reveals, had a powerfully positive impact on her.
Chloe writes that those personal accounts “have helped me immensely with my own healing process.”
It can be powerfully therapeutic to realize that you are truly not alone in your experiences.
“After years of therapy and rebuilding,” Chloe writes. “Your support has done so much more for me than all of it combined.”
That makes sense, though we hope that her therapist doesn’t take it personally.
She is referring to a widespread phenomenon in which those who have been abused — whether it’s emotional abuse or brutal violence — second-guess their own experiences and almost try to convince themselves that what they describe wasn’t half bad.
Part of that is society’s pressures for survivors to keep silent. Part of that is the mind games that abusers play with their victims. Part of that is just human survival instincts run amok, basically.
“This whole experience has opened my eyes to so much,” Chloe’s post continues.
Chloe says that she has learned a lot, “and my heart goes out to those trapped in unhealthy or abusive relationships.”
She has sympathies for those “who haven’t found the strength to leave” these toxic situations.
That might sound victim-blamey, but it takes a tremendous amount of strength to break through the fog of manipulation and threats in which many abusers trap their victims.
Chloe also acknowledges “those suffering in the workplace due to abuses of power or unfair treatment.”
Not everyone can simply leave, and she knows that.
If you have a four-year-old child at home and you’re their only provider, you might grin and bear it as you get harassed or groped at work because you don’t feel like you have other options.
Her heart goes out to all of those people, “and especially to those that don’t feel their voice can be heard the way mine has.”
Chloe Dykstra has fans and followers, despite the alleged efforts to ruin her career after her breakup.
“It is my hope, and it always was,” Chloe writes. “That women and men on both sides of abuse will make changes to either protect themselves, or to stop the cycle of pain their own behavior can cause.”
Honestly, stop being awful is a very modest request of abusers.
“These behaviors are insidious and often hard to spot,” Chloe warns. “We make excuses for them and, bit by bit, we can lose ourselves entirely.”
“Despite recent events,” Chloe continues. “I hope that everyone personally affected by my story can to find their own closure.”
Closure can be a key part of recovery. It’s not always possible, but it’s helpful.
She suggests that they might do so “through the support of loved ones and friends, the way I have.”
Note that she doesn’t specifically identify family. She is probably very well aware that, for many people, family is the source of this nightmare, not the haven from it. That is so sad.
Chloe adds that “in addition, my heart goes out to those caught in the fallout.”
Sometimes, when you call out something bad that someone did, you lose friends or make things uncomfortable with others.
Some people lose half of their family when they flee their abuser.
Chloe feels that, even though doing so was absolutely terrifying, coming forward with her accusations was a huge weight off of her shoulders.
“Having been able to lift from my shoulders that which was weighing me down,” Chloe writes. “I’m ready to move forwards in my life, finally.”
That is so beautiful.
And moving forward is precisely what she intends to do “instead of looking back with fear and sadness.”

Meghan Markle Finally Speaks on Married Life, Makes Bold Statement About Prince Harry
Meghan Markle has made multiple appearances since becoming the Duchess of Sussex.
She’s even made her debut on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and has even established herself in British society to such an extent that she’s receiving backlash for her fashion choices.
So, yes, we have seen Markle ever since her monumental wedding to Prince Harry back on May 19.
But we haven’t really heard from Markle since this she officially became part of the Royal Family.
Not until now at least.
On Thursday afternoon, Markle enjoyed a walkabout in Chester, England, joining Queen Elizabeth II for her first solo engagement with the beloved monarch.
She carried herself very well, as you might expect, even prompting a number of smiles and laughs from the typically-stoic queen.
While speaking with residents gathered along the sidewalk, Markle also addressed her life as a newlywed, specifically giving folks her take on her very famous and handsome husband.
According to press on the scene, the new Duchess of Sussex referred Prince Harry as “best husband ever,” saying simply of being his wife:
“It’s wonderful.”
It is important to remember, of course, that Markle was once married to Trevor Engelson.
She split from him in 2013, but she actually does have a husband to whom she can compare Harry, making the above remark carry more weight.
Last weekend, the married twosome re-emerged in public together for the first time in a few weeks to join the queen at the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony.
As mentioned previously, this event marked Markle’s debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
We’ve since learned that Markle and Harry had been away from the spotlight because they found time to jet off to Africa for their honeymoon.
An insider has confirmed to E! News that the Royal Couple traveled into East Africa, to be accurate, and also visited more than two nations, where their activities included safaris and outdoor adventures, along with much-deserved rest and relaxation in the sun.
(We’re also guessing they had a lot of sex.)
“It was the perfect break and blend of their passions,” this E! source says. “Restorative and the perfect holiday before starting a very busy second half of 2018.”
Busy because Harry and Meghan will be making many public appearances?
Yes, we’re certain this is true.
But also busy because they’ll be preparing to be parents?
Indeed, questions about just when Markle will get pregnant have already started to circulate around the Internet.
We’re not about to add any pressure to the lives of these global stars, however. They only just got married!
We’ll just wish them all the best for a happy and healthy future and ask that they alert The Hollywood Gossip to any baby news prior to any other entertainment/gossip outlet.
