The Voice Recap: Three Second Chances, Three Exits

It was the penultimate night of the Battle Rounds on The Voice, and that meant it was time to whittle down the remaining contestants.

As has been the case for much of The Voice Season 14, the episode featured the best and worst of the talent.

There were some steals, some great performances and some that made us wonder why the performer made it through the Blind Auditions.

Let’s break down Night 3 of the Battle Rounds!

Team Blake: Pryor Baird vs. Kaleb Lee –  “Don’t Do Me Like That”

We already knew Pryor was going to win this battle. Pryor has some of the best vocals to grace the stage. There was really no competition here, and it was difficult not to feel bad for Kaleb.

Kaleb decided to dial the volume all the way up, and it definitely changed his vocals for the worse.

Winner: Pryor

Steal: Kaleb to Team Kelly

Team Adam: Mia Boostrom vs. Genesis Diaz – “Because of You”

Who would have thought that Mia would be one of the best performers of the night? Her previous performance was rather mediocre.

But she brought it in a big way for her battle. Mia won a lot of praise for hitting the lower notes and the higher ones without much of a struggle.

That’s not to say Genesis was bad. It was a great rendition, but Mia had the edge throughout.

Winner: Mia

Team Kelly: Justin Kilgore vs. Molly Stevens – “Burning House”

This battle was a polarizing one. On the surface, Justin had the charisma and the stage presence to put him to the front of the pack.

Unfortunately, his vocals were not up there with Molly’s, so we’re surprised Molly did not get taken to one of the other teams.

Winner: Justin

Team Adam: Drew Cole vs. Miya Bass –  “Knocking’ on Heaven’s Door”

This one was a close race throughout. Both competitors gave it their all, and it truly came down to the wire who would live to sing another day.

Winner: Drew Cole

Steal: Miya to Team Alicia

Team Blake: Wilkes vs. Jordan Kirkdorffer – “Nobody to Blame”

Chris Stapleton songs are not easy to cover, and Jordan learned that the hard way. He struggled to keep up with Wilkes, and it was glaringly obvious which one of them had the longer shelf life.

Winner: Wilkes

Team Alicia: Britton Buchanan vs. Jaclyn Lovey – “Thinking Out Loud”

Pitting two of the best performers against each other is not a good idea on paper, but it is when a steal is thrown in for good measure.

Both Britton and Jaclyn showed off their rock-solid vocals, and we are happy both made it through.

Winner: Britton

Steal: Jaclyn to Team Blake

The Voice continues tonight on NBC!

Donald Trump Impeachment Odds: What Are the Chances of the President Getting Fired?

You’re fired.

It was Donald Trump’s catchphrase during his tenure as host of NBC’s The Apprentice and The Celebrity Apprentice.

It’s a phrase no one wants to hear, filled as it is with the dread of an irate authority figure and terminated employment and yet, it helped endear Trump to an American public that had all but forgotten about him

And now, millions are aching to repeat those words back the the 45th President of the United States.

From the time of his stunning election, there’s been talk of the possibility that Trump might not last a full term in office.

In the wake of news that his administration may have been colluding with Russia for much of the past year and the resignation of top national security adviser General Michael Flynn, it seems more likely than ever that Trump will face a full investigation sometime in the near future.

Bad news for America, but potentially good news for gamblers who are bored with playing the ponies and betting on point spreads.

As they do with pretty much everything else, from the length of the national anthem at the Super Bowl to the likelihood that Jennifer Lawrence will fall down at an awards show, oddsmakers are calculating the chances of a Trump impeachment.

And these days they’re liking the president’s chances of getting the boot.

The odds of a Trump impeachment in 2017 are currently sitting at 4/1.

If he makes it through his first year in the White House, however, it seems the likelihood that Trump will last a full four years will jump considerably.

The odds of a Trump’s impeachment in 2018 are currently at 9/1.

In 2019, they’re 16/1 in 2019 and they’re at a whopping 20/1 in the year 2020.

So if you have an inkling that Trump will get tossed three years from now, you may want to put some dollars down on it.

Not surprisingly, oddsmakers are deeming it less likely that the president will voluntarily step down.

The “no” prop bet on Trump resigning is currently at 4/11.

The “yes” is a 15/8.

Of course, anyone familiar with Trump’s ego knows that all the sh-t would have to hit all the fans simultaneously for Trump to admit defeat and surrender the White House.

But hey, these are exciting times in the worst possible way, and anything is possible!

So get your bets in now, before we’re all wagering in rubles!

Wish us luck, rest of the world!

Angela "Big Ang" Raiola Talks Cancer Treatment, Reveals Chances of Survival

Back in April of 2015, Mob Wives star Angela Raiola was diagnosed with throat cancer.

That same month, she underwent surgery, and the tumor was successfully removed

"Big Ang," as she"s known to fans, announced online that she was in complete remission, and she even scheduled a public appearance tour to celebrate.

Sadly, just last month Raiola learned that her cancer had returned in a particularly aggressive form.

In a public statement, Raiola"s family revealed that the popular reality TV star is now fighting stage 4 cancer, and doctors have advised that she prepare for the worst.

“Chemotherapy was started January 5," said Ang"s sister, Janice Detore.

"On January 26th the doctor reviewed her CT scan and informed us that the treatment was not working, and in fact one tumor grew larger and the other tumors had no change.”

Today, Ang appeared on The Dr. Oz Show for her first interview since learning that the cancer had returned.

She revealed that doctors have given her a 30 percent chance of survival, and that she"s parted ways with her husband of six years, Neil Murphy, after he failed to "step up" during her treatment.

Watch Big Ang talk about her illness and her decision to go it alone in the clip below:
