Selena Gomez Suffers "Emotional Breakdown," Agrees to Treatment
Selena Gomez is once again in need of professional help.
According to TMZ, the pop star was hospitalized on two occasions over the past two weeks for health concerns related to Lupus.
(Gomez was diagnosed with this autoimmunse disease in 2015; the illness can damage almost any part of the body – including joints, skin and internal organs – because it causes the immune system to be unable to tell the difference between foreign invaders and healthy tissues.)
The first hospital visit took place toward the end of September and was the result of a low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant last year.
The artist was released after a few days days later …
… but had to be re-admitted last week because her blood cell count remained at a dangerous level – and this development prompted Selena to fall into a downward emotional spiral.
She insisted on leaving nearly as soon as she was under doctors’ care again, only for these same doctors to say she had to stay in the hospital.
TMZ writes that Selena had “a meltdown” and “freaked out.”
She allegedly tried ripping the IV’ out of her arm, with multiple sources referring to the episode as “an emotional breakdown.”
Once she recovered from this state, Gomez agreed to check into an East Coast psychiatric facility, at which she is receiving dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
This is a treatment method designed to identify, and then change, negative thinking and behavioral patterns. She has undergone the same treatment before.
Let’s all pray it works this time.
“She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point,” a source tells People Magazine, confirming the TMZ report and adding:
“She realized she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues. She’s surrounded by close family and has a lot of support. She’s doing better now.”
We’re very glad to hear it.
Sadly, however, this incident and everything related to it wasn’t all that hard to see coming.
Just two weeks ago, Gomez took a break from social media, explaining why in a heartfelt video that touched on her battle with depression.
“As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given,” she wrote.
“Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember— negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings.”
In this Instagram Live session, Gomez admitted that she had been dealing with mental health issues for about five years.
She also said she had been “kinda just going through the motions and figuring out who I am and just doing the best I could and then slowly but surely doing that” for about half a decade.
Translation: Gomez is truly unsure about who she is and who she wants to be.

Many folks are naturally wondering whether Justin Bieber’s engagement to Hailey Baldwin is playing a role in Selena’s latest troubles.
The short answer, of course, is that we have no idea.
We’d rather not speculate.
Gomez has entered rehab at various times over the past few years and Lupus is a serious disease that does result in a myriad of physical ailments.
It’s only natural for these physical ailments to eventually take a mental toll, as well.
It’s also only natural for anyone to have a very hard time dealing with a serious ex moving on in such a significant manner.
All we can do right now is wish Selena Gomez the best and hope she has a full recovery.

Ariana Grande Reveals Pain, Deep Emotional Struggles
A lot of Americans had a hell of a week and a very difficult Thursday, in light of current events. Well, so did Ariana Grande.
Ariana has inspired fans to cope and heal in the wake of Mac Miller’s tragic death, but she’s having a difficult time, too.
On Thursday, she revealed her emotional struggles on Twitter.
Thursday, September 27, Ariana Grande took to Twitter to share that she was going through a difficult time.
“Can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls,” she tweeted.
Ariana continued her plea to the universe — or perhaps a scream into the void, as so many of us use Twitter.
She wrote: “i’m so tired pls.”
From this point, her tweets took on a darker, more negative tone.
Ariana tweet-quoted her post from earlier in the week, which read “everything will be okay.”
She had clearly reconsidered, as she wrote: “j f–king k.”
As if that were not already crushing enough to read from such a good-hearted, wonderful celebrity, she also expressed a troubling state of mind.
“[Thank you] for loving me [so much] i do not deserve it,” Ariana tweeted.
Fans saw these tweets and were understandably very worried.
After fans gave her an outpouring of concern and love, Ariana gave a heartfelt reply.
“ur angels in my life,” she assured her beloved Arianators.
“it’s just been a tough month,” Ariana explained.
“i’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal,” Ariana continued. “And it’s hard and i’m human and tired.”
“sorry i let u in or worried u,” Ariana pologized. “i shouldn’t have tweeted. i kno better.”
For the record, Ariana should absolutely have tweeted. Her fans and followers love her and want her to feel free to express herself, whether she’s thirsting over her fiance or grieving the tragic death of her ex.
Or even if she’s just having a bad day.
Ariana sent out a couple of “ily” tweets following her more negative tweets, telling her followers that she loves them in an appreciation of their support.
We absolutely hope that Ariana is doing well.
Every person has their struggles, but Ariana has been through so much recently.
In 2017, Ariana and her audience were the victims of a vicious terrorist attack. Fans — including children — were wounded, maimed, and killed.
Ariana, along with so many others, was traumatized by the event. She took a long time to recover, and was just returning to public life with the release of her album, Sweetener, this summer.
She was celebrating her return and her engagement to Pete Davidson when Mac Miller died of an apparent overdose.
Now, Ariana is living a nightmare. Not only did her ex die suddenly, but some of his fans were cruel enough to blame her. Generally speaking, the only thing to blame for an overdose is addiction.
Ariana is a treasure and a talent and she deserves all of the happiness in the world. It is heartbreaking to see her suffering. We hope that she is able to find that comforting light again.

Paola Mayfield Shares Sweet Baby Bump Pic, Emotional Message to Fans
Paola Mayfield has made it official:
Two body parts of hers are growing these days.
As previously announced, the 90 Day Fiance star is expecting her first child with husband Russ, as the reality stars themselves confirmed this blessed news just over a week ago on Instagram.
Naturally, as a result, Mayfield’s belly is getting bigger by the month.
But the TLC personality has also now made it clear via social media that something aside from her stomach has increased in size of late:
Her heart.
Indeed, Paola just shared a new, precious picture (above) of Russ kissing her baby bump, adding as a lengthy caption:
“We are so thankful and happy for each one of your beautiful messages! We weren’t expecting so much love and so much support. Thank you all so much.”
She then referenced some of the marital strife that she has been through over the past year or so.
“You guys know all that Russ and I went through the past months,” Mayfield said in her caption, continuing in further detail:
“I was angry and devastated after all you can never completely recover from something like that but today we have a reason to smile and to be happy, a reason to move forward and to be the best we can.
“I wish I could keep up and like all your comments from my last post. I love you all so very much!
“Thank you for living this amazing experience with us and for showing us so much love.”
Mayfield is mostly referencing a miscarriage she suffered last year in this passage.
As is the case with so many couples that go through this awful experience, Russ and Paola nearly hit a breaking point due to the tragedy.
Paola made it pretty clear on air and in a few statements that she though Russ wasn’t there for her in the way she needed following the devastating news.
Meanwhile, Russ thought his wife was trying to shut him out.
It’s never been clear just how close the stars were to splitting, but their relationship hadn’t seemed entirely stable even before the miscarriage.
The main storyline surrounding the Mayfields during their time on 90 Day Finance had been Paola’s penchant for posing nearly-naked and Russ’ unease over his wife showing the world such revealing assets.
This was a legitimate issue between the husband and wife.
It became so well known and questions about their relationship so pervasive that both sides of the romance semi-recently addressed their status online.
“He accepts me,” Paola told fans in early July of Russ. “Loves me and respects me the way I am and lets me work even when he is not 100% comfortable.”
Russ, for his part, also made it evident a short bit ago that he loves Paola and is committed to Paola and people need to stop claiming anything to the contrary.
“I accept and am proud of my wife for the beautiful woman she is,” Russ has said, adding:
“I am tired of the comments from the marriage ‘experts’ stating I deserve better, my wife doesn’t respect me, or she only loves me for my money and so on and so forth…
“I am proud of where I come from. And where I am going and that’s with the love of my life.”
And now also with a precious bundle of joy!

Danielle Staub – the former full-time Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member known for having a sex tape and screaming at Teresa Giudice and sort of being a criminal coke whore – is involved in more drama.
This time, the drama, involves Marty Caffrey, Staub"s husband of two months.
Who may not be her husband for very much longer.

Yes! She tied the knot with Marty on May 5 in the Bahamian island of Bimin. Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs were Matrons of Honor, while Melissa Gorga served as bridesmaid.

Jax Taylor Pens Emotional Tribute to His Late Fater
In December, Jax Taylor’s father died following a cancer battle. Cancer is the actual worst, folks.
Months later, on his late father’s birthday, Jax has taken to social media to share his thoughts on his dearly departed dad.
Jax was clearly able to be emotionally honest, because you can tell that he wrote this from the heart.
Jax Taylor’s father, Ronald Cauchi, is gone but not forgotten by his son.
On Tuesday, June 12, Jax posted a tribute to his father on Instagram.
“Happy birthday to my angel in the sky,” Jax writes. “I love you so much dad and I miss you more and more each day.”
Losing a loved one can get easier over time, but … not in just a few months.
“Since you have left you have changed me in so many ways,” Jax writes.
Recent stories about Jax have made it sound like he’s really thinking about what sort of person he wants to be.
Jax then adds: “Thank you for being my father.”
There is no good time to lose a loved one.
“My new goal in life,” Jax announces. “Is to be exactly the man you are to your family.”
He makes it clear that he is not the only one who thinks that his father was a good person.
Jax continues: “Jenny and I are still getting messages from your friends on what an incredible man you are…”
He adds elipses there at the end, showing that he is pausing to find the words. This is an emotional message.
“I am so f–king proud to be your son dad,” Jax writes.
That is so sweet.
His father is going to miss on some major life milestones.
“My only wish is that you could see me and Brittany on our wedding day,” Jax laments.”And meet your grandchildren.”
Jax and Brittany Cartwright are actually engaged. Like we said, it seems like he’s really stepping up.
Jax takes comfort in one thing: “But I know you will be with me in spirit and help guide me the rest of my life.”
That is so heartwarming to read.
“I love you dad…” Jax trails off again.
Even in print, sometimes deep and powerful emotions can be difficult to express.
“Until we see each other again, keep the fireball ready and the redwing game on.”
Jax ends his post on a seemingly alarming note.
“I’ll see you soon,” he writes. “Cheers pop.”
Despite his phrasing, we absolutely do not believe that Jax is expressing the expectation that he will die any time soon.
We think that he instead means that, in comparison to the vastness of eternity, the rest of his long and hopefully happy life will seem relatively short.
This is a sweet and tender message and shows how sensitive Jax can be as a person.
Not only was Jax’s father’s birthday this week, but Father’s Day is coming up right around the corner.
You know that this holiday celebration is going to be emotionally challenging for Jax.
Perhaps even surprisingly so. When you are grieving a loved one for that first year, sometimes you don’t always anticipate which days are going to have the strongest emotional impact.
Father’s Day is not one of the subtle ones. We’re sure that he’ll be with family — including his fiancee Brittany — to see him through the day.
