Meghan Markle Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction, Shows Her Underwear to the People of New Zealand
Ever since she married Prince Harry back in May, we’ve been hearing a lot about Meghan Markle’s various gaffes and faux pas.
Meghan’s breaches of royal protocol are generally pretty tame, of course.
Take, for example, the time Meghan failed to curtsy properly.
Only the very stuffiest of royal traditionalists would ever get upset over something so patently ridiculous.
Meg’s latest slip-up is a bit more scandalous than all of that, but while it may have caused much pearl-clutching among elderly residents of the UK, it probably won’t make many waves on this side of the pond.
That’s it, folks.
That’s the “wardrobe malfunction” that supposedly has Buckingham Palace up in arms.
Meghan is wearing a sheer skirt during an appearance in New Zealand, and while a faint outline of the royal knickers is visible, this certainly is not the sort of thing that’s likely to spark a national incident.
And so, it’s time once again to play our favorite game, Is Meghan Being Judged More Harshly Than Her Royal Peers and Predecessors?
To be fair, it’s not as if the UK tabloids have ever been especially nice to Kate Middleton.
In fact, they had a field day when nude photos of Kate made their way onto social media.
But it often feels as though they weren’t quite so quick to find fault with every little thing Kate did, the way they do with Meghan.
There are numerous reasons why the press might be giving Meg a harder time.
They range from the nefarious (low-key racism) to the benign (Meg is an American and a former actress).
It’s even been suggested that the media dislikes Meghan’s awful family and they’re projecting those feelings onto Meg herself.
That’s a depressing possibility to contemplate, as it basically means that Meghan’s family is winning.
They’ve set out to destroy her, and if the press is judging her more harshly
Of course, it’s entirely possible that we’ve devoted way too much thought to this brief glimpse of Meghan’s underwear.

Selena Gomez Suffers "Emotional Breakdown," Agrees to Treatment
Selena Gomez is once again in need of professional help.
According to TMZ, the pop star was hospitalized on two occasions over the past two weeks for health concerns related to Lupus.
(Gomez was diagnosed with this autoimmunse disease in 2015; the illness can damage almost any part of the body – including joints, skin and internal organs – because it causes the immune system to be unable to tell the difference between foreign invaders and healthy tissues.)
The first hospital visit took place toward the end of September and was the result of a low white blood cell count in the wake of her kidney transplant last year.
The artist was released after a few days days later …
… but had to be re-admitted last week because her blood cell count remained at a dangerous level – and this development prompted Selena to fall into a downward emotional spiral.
She insisted on leaving nearly as soon as she was under doctors’ care again, only for these same doctors to say she had to stay in the hospital.
TMZ writes that Selena had “a meltdown” and “freaked out.”
She allegedly tried ripping the IV’ out of her arm, with multiple sources referring to the episode as “an emotional breakdown.”
Once she recovered from this state, Gomez agreed to check into an East Coast psychiatric facility, at which she is receiving dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
This is a treatment method designed to identify, and then change, negative thinking and behavioral patterns. She has undergone the same treatment before.
Let’s all pray it works this time.
“She has had a tough few weeks and the panic attack in the hospital was the tipping point,” a source tells People Magazine, confirming the TMZ report and adding:
“She realized she needed to seek additional help for her ongoing emotional issues. She’s surrounded by close family and has a lot of support. She’s doing better now.”
We’re very glad to hear it.
Sadly, however, this incident and everything related to it wasn’t all that hard to see coming.
Just two weeks ago, Gomez took a break from social media, explaining why in a heartfelt video that touched on her battle with depression.
“As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given,” she wrote.
“Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember— negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings.”
In this Instagram Live session, Gomez admitted that she had been dealing with mental health issues for about five years.
She also said she had been “kinda just going through the motions and figuring out who I am and just doing the best I could and then slowly but surely doing that” for about half a decade.
Translation: Gomez is truly unsure about who she is and who she wants to be.

Many folks are naturally wondering whether Justin Bieber’s engagement to Hailey Baldwin is playing a role in Selena’s latest troubles.
The short answer, of course, is that we have no idea.
We’d rather not speculate.
Gomez has entered rehab at various times over the past few years and Lupus is a serious disease that does result in a myriad of physical ailments.
It’s only natural for these physical ailments to eventually take a mental toll, as well.
It’s also only natural for anyone to have a very hard time dealing with a serious ex moving on in such a significant manner.
All we can do right now is wish Selena Gomez the best and hope she has a full recovery.

Jamie Otis Suffers Another Miscarriage, Remains Determined to Have a Baby
Jamie Otis is a woman on a mission.
But that mission has taken another tragic turn for the terribly unfortunate.
The former Married at First Sight cast member, who is the mother to a beautiful daughter named Gracie and who suffered a miscarriage in 2016, confirmed on Sunday that she experienced a chemical pregnancy just days after she posted a picture of a pregnancy test that she hoped was positive.
This is such heartbreaking news.
“Sorry I’ve been MIA, this very bizarre positive pregnancy test then negative test then faint positive lines gave me hope that Gracie was going to become a big sis in 9 months,” wrote the ex-TLC star, adding as part of a caption to the photo above:
“But the night before last I began having terrible contraction-like pains & spotting.”
Otis is a nurse. She had a strong feeling about what this meant.
“Then over the night full blown everything – if you know what I mean,” she continued.
“I’m a nurse so I had my suspicions; but my midwife confirmed I had a chemical pregnancy.
“I don’t know why some people have it seemingly SO easy to get preggers & carry their babies to term and others struggle?”
There’s no answer to this question, of course.
It’s just a very unfair aspect of life.
(For those wondering, a chemical pregnancy is defined as an early pregnancy loss that occurs shortly after implantation of a fertilized egg. The exact cause is unknown.)
Referring to her daughter and to husband Doug Hehner, Otis put on an impresively brave face and continued:
“What I do know is that I am so, so thankful for this little girl [and her daddy] right here. It’s like she knew mommy was in so much pain bc she just wanted to be held and snuggled all night long.”
Otis had shared a photo of what looked like a positive pregnancy test on Instagram on Friday, August 31.
“If I stare long enough I see the faintest ‘+’ sign,” she wrote, asking followers to send “baby dust, prayers & positivity” her way.
Jamie and Doug met on the first season of Married at First Sight.
And the former emphasized in this same Instagram post that she isn’t done trying to give Gracie a brother or sister.
Showing gratitude to her fans for their “prayers & positive energy,” Otis wrote:
“We have to wait a cycle before trying again, but I am on a mission to make Gracie a big sis now. …has this happened to anyone else where you go through a loss & then all you want – the only healing thought – is to become pregnant with a healthy pregnancy?!
“This happened to me after our sweet Johnathan & the same feelings have come back.”
Johnathan is the name Jamie and Doug gave their son who they lost after Otis was pregnant with him for four months.
They honored him in moving fashion about a year later.
Otis concluded her latest post by thanking her fans as follows:
“I feel like I have a million sisters/friends who i call my ‘frans’ right here & I appreciate you, your prayers, your thoughts & words of love for me & my little family more than you’ll ever know!”

It’s a phrase that was first popularized by Justin Timberlake to describe the public misfortune that befell Janet Jackson at Super Bowl …
In the years since, the term has entered popular usage, as celebrities and peasants alike have fallen victim to nip slips, open flies, and other sartorial calamities.
Yes, even royals aren’t immune to unintentional nudity.
It’s a lesson that at the wedding of Prince Harry’s longtime friends Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks.
Yes, apparently those are real people and not characters from a lost F. Scott Fitzgeerald novel.
Anyway, the nuptials took place on August 4, which happened to be Meghan’s 37th birthday.
And it seems the Duchess decided to combine the two celebrations by attending the ceremony in her birthday suit.
Okay, so that might be a bit of an exaggeration.
According to a report in OK! magazine — an outlet that tends to be about as trustworthy as Alex Jones on these matters — Meghan “accidentally flashed her bra” as she arrived at the wedding.
Onlookers who witnessed the “wardrobe malfunction” claim that Meg “left the top button of her dress undone, the see-through lace could be seen underneath.”
Scandalous stuff, obviously.
Don’t be surprised if the Brits try to pin this one on America resulting in a second Revolutionary War that should be a bit shorter than the first one, as our $ 600 billion now has the capacity to carpet bomb the British Isles into oblivion several hundred times over.
We kid of course, but it turns out this wedding was one of the major social events of the summer across the pond.
Yes, as it turns out, Van Straubenzee is more than just the proud owner of a Bond villain last name.
In fact, he’s so close with the Royals that he’s godfather to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s daughter, Princess Charlotte.
Speaking of Kate, if there’s anyone who knows Meg’s pain, it’s her.
As you may recall, there was a time when Kate Middleton topless pics were screamed about in all-caps headlines in every tabloid in America.
Obviously, meg didn’t show nearly as much skin, so this thing should blow over pretty quickly.
Of course, there’s still the matter of Meghan breaching royal protocol yet again.
Will she be criticized by the Queen for flashing a quarter inch of Victoria’s Secret lace?
Only time will tell.

Britney Spears Suffers Nip Slip on Stage, Doesn"t Give AF
Britney Spears is a living legend, a wonderful mother, and anabsolute music phenomenon. She is also currently on her Piece of Me Tour.
On Saturday, she suffered a bit of a wardrobe malfunction while on stage. Specifically, it was a nip slip.
An insider close to the tour is dishing on exactly how Britney is reacting to the realization that she was flashing the entire crowd for a couple of minutes.
On June 14, Britney Spears experienced a nip slip — or rather, her audience did. Neither she nor her dancers seemed to notice for a full two minutes.
Now, a source explains to HollywoodLife that Britney"s nip slip was no big deal.
"Britney is so not bothered by wardrobe malfunctions," the insider reveals.
"At this stage in her career," the source continues. "They’re like second nature to her."
She"s had a lot of shows and a lot of costumes in 20 years.
"She just rolls with it," the insider explains.
It totally makes sense that Britney is unfazed by the nip slip. Realistically, the naked eye is not going to be able to spot the naked nipple on stage.
"She will," the source admits. "Make sure to use some stronger tape going forward though."
That"s smart. Just because you don"t freak out about something doesn"t mean that you want for it to happen again.
Britney will do this, the insider states, "as she doesn’t want to intentionally flash the audience!"
Of course not!
There"s nothing wrong with nipples, but they should only come out to play when you want them to.
There"s more than just Britney"s life experience that gives her such a calm attitude.
The insider explains, reminding us that "Britney is on stage every night pretty much."
This is a grueling tour. Thankfully, she"s in the best shape of her life.
Britney works hard to keep her body like this, and it pays off.
"And," the source continues. "She’s used to changing quickly in and out of outfits backstage."
That is all part of the business.
The insider points out that these costume changes take place "in front of her dancers,"
Her dancers are all professionals — and plenty of them are changing clothes in these moments, too.
But Britney has grown accustomed to the exposure, the insider dishes, "so being naked doesn’t faze her."
Kind of like how your first no-clothes party in college was probably kind of awkward, but by your fifth you were grumbling about having to wear clothes to and from the party.
Britney is a world-savvy adult "and nip slips aren’t mortifying to her." the source explains.
Not, the insider points out, "like they would be to a lot of other people."
If, say, Taylor Swift were to have a wardrobe malfunction that led to her being partially nude on stage, it would be a huge deal.
Taylor is younger and is very deliberate about how much of her body she is willing to reveal.
Britney"s been at this longer and very naturally has become more accustomed to little slip-ups that can happen on stage.
It goes with the territory when you"re one of the greatest performers in human history.

Meghan Markle"s Dad Suffers Heart Attack! Won"t Attend Royal Wedding!

According to TMZ, Thomas Markle suffered a heart attack last week and has decided it’s best for his health if he does not board an airplane and fly to London.
(A newly-famous recluse, Thomas lives in Mexico and has tried to stay as far away from the spotlight ever since his daughter started dating Harry.)
Thomas initially checked himself out of the hospital in order to attend the Royal Wedding, but he tells TMZ that he’s chosen to remain home for reasons that go beyond his physical well-being.
You see, Markle recently made news when it became public knowledge that he’s been staging various paparazzi photos.
As you may have noticed over the past several months, photographers have captured Thomas buying beer, looking disheveled and not exactly presenting the best version of himself.
He says now that he finally accepted some money from a paparazzi agency in order to set up shots that appeared candid but which were, in reality, staged ahead of time.
He did so partly to earn some cash, but mostly to avoid embarrassing his family with snapshots that depicted him in a negative light.
Now that this information has gone viral, Thomas himself is embarrassed and TMZ reports he does not want to attend the wedding and bring any shame to those involved.
It all sounds pretty darn sad, to be honest.
Markle will at least have her mom by her side when she exchanges her vows this Saturday, but one pressing question now remains:
WHO WILL WALK HER DOWN THE AISLE?
Mere days prior to the ceremony, this is a rather huge issue to not have an answer for at the moment.
The topic of Markle’s family in general continues to be a pressing one.
Simply put, some of her relatives seem a bit… off.
The former Suits star has been the target of wrath from her half-sister for weeks, for example, as Samantha Markle keeps dragging her sibling in the media because she isn’t invited to the wedding.
And her brother also says Markle sucks!
“She’s clearly forgotten her roots. It’s torn my entire family apart,” hr recently told The Daily Mail, adding:
“Meg likes to portray herself as a humanitarian, a people’s person and a charitable person but she is none of those things to her family.”
UPDATE: Samantha now says that she’s the person who actually set up Thomas Markle’s paparazzi photos.
“I have to say I am entirely the culprit,” she said during an appearance on British talk show Loose Women on Monday, explaining:
“As we know the media can take very unflattering photographs of people on their casual days and blow it way out of proportion. I said, you know, the world has no idea you’re getting in shape, doing healthy things.
“They don’t photograph you buying vegetables and PH water. They photograph you as unflattering ways as they can…
“So I said, really you need to show the world that you’re getting in shape and doing great healthy things. So I suggested it.
“There’s a lot of scrutiny that it was money motivated, it was not. It was my suggestion that to benefit him and to benefit the royal family that everyone looked good and they depict you as you are – in shape and doing healthy things.”
Neither of Meghan’s half-siblings will be at the wedding.
They were grown up and out of the house by the time Markle was born and the ex-actress has never really had a relationship with them.

Kevin Smith Suffers "Massive Heart Attack," Receives Support From Fans
Scary news from one of Hollywood’s most beloved filmmakers.
Kevin Smith revealed to fans last night that he’s been hospitalized after suffering a near-fatal heart attack.
“After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack,” Smith tweeted, along with the image above.
“The Doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka “the Widow-Maker”). If I hadn’t canceled show 2 to go to the hospital, I would’ve died tonight. But for now, I’m still above ground!”
Smith was filming a standup comedy special at Alex Theatre in Glendale, California the night of the incident.
His cardiac event apparently took place sometime between the 6 pm and 9 pm shows.
Sources say Smith “felt ill” following his early show and was taken to a nearby hospital.
Smith got his start in the industry with the influential, self-financed cult comedy Clerks in 1994.
He’s worked non-stop in the decades since, most recently helming the feature Yoga Hosers and an episode of the CW series The Flash.
A new season of Smith’s reality series, Comic Book Men, premiered on AMC last night.
Back in 2015, Smith lost 85 pounds and stated that he believed he was in the best shape of his life.
News of Smith’s heart attack quickly made him a trending topic on Twitter, where fans and a legion of famous friends pid tribute:
“Kevin we don’t know each other too good but I have loved you since Clerks and I’m praying my ass off for you cause I believe in the healing power of prayer. Can you please pray with me people!?” tweeted Chris Pratt.
“Fans of Kevin Smith please take comfort he is in a good hospital with great doctors but if he needs 2nd or 3rd opinions from the worlds finest cardiologists we’ve got him covered too,” wrote Tom Arnold.
Sources close to Smith say that the filmmaker is resting comfortably and eager to begin the long recovery process.
