Sonja Morgan: RHONY Star Spotted Humping and Grinding
Real Housewives are often shown drinking and displaying out-of-control behavior on camera. But how do you know when it’s gone too far and is bleeding over into real life?
Eyewitnesses claim that they saw RHONY star Sonja Morgan “wasted and humping” people almost indiscriminately.
Sonja is denything that claim … sort of.
Page Six reports that Sonja Morgan was spotted at downtown hot spot Paul’s Baby Grand last week.
And from the descriptions, it sounds like she was feeling no pain.
“She rolled in straight from the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ studio, wasted and humping people.”
Well, so long as that was all consensual humping, that sounds like she was just living her best life.
And that, the source reveals, was just the beginning.
“She was making out with blondes [of both genders] and then left with one.”
Oh dang. Good for her!
But is it true?
Sonja actually spoke to Page Six to clear the air. Sort of.
“This always happens to me!”
That’s quite the opening line.
“I was dancing with a bunch of girlfriends and my friends.”
So she knew these various blonds and blondes, then?
Sonja then casts doubt on the claims about her behavior.
“Humping? What does that mean? Dancing? Grinding? Humping?”
Well, dancing is … dancing. Grinding involves sliding parts of your body against parts of someone else’s. And humping … we don’t have it in us to explain what humping is, to Sonja Morgan or to anyone else.
“That’s all in the eye of the beholder.”
Is it, though? Those sound like pretty straightforward descriptions of activities.
We should note that she’s not exactly shooting down the rumor that she was wasted. She just says that it’s a bit of an overstatement.
“I was drinking, yes. It’s all so exaggerated. I was having fun.”
No one is questioning that she was having a blast.
“That’s why I like to have my parties on Wednesdays at home.”
That is super specific, but she means that she prefers the privacy.
“Because everything gets exaggerated.”
That’s the price of fame, unfortunately.
“You can’t even go out anymore.”
In case anyone is worried that she’s falling prey to substance abuse, she mentions that this has come up before.
“Bethenny [Frankel] confronted me about my drinking binges, whatever season that was …”
She says that she totally went with Bethenny’s advice.
“I reflected, went to a therapist, talked to my doctors, tested all my bloods.”
Okay, tested all my bloods is an amazing line. Someone please embroider that onto something.
“I wanted to see, ‘Do I have a problem?’ And it came out, ‘No, you don’t have a problem. But, you know, you’re going through a lot, you need to talk to somebody.”
Sometimes, that’s the case.
Now, we absolutely do not mean to in any way victim-blame when we ask this question, but …
… If Sonja is lamenting that this “always happens” to her, but notices that this does not happen to all of her costars, does that mean that she’s doing something that they aren’t?
But let’s be super clear about this:
Sonja isn’t being accused of any kind of wrongdoing whatsoever.
The source simply described her as having a very good time in a way that would scandalize Mike Pence, who probably thinks that the pleasant relief of sneezing is best reserved for heterosexual marriage.
Sonja’s solution might be, rather than fighting the rumors, to just say: “Hell yeah I had a blast!”
Even things were exaggerated.

Bethenny Frankel: I Might Leave RHONY ... Again
Bethenny Frankel had one hell of a year. Personal tragedies like the loss of her dog, Cookie. A falling out with Carole Radziwill. A lot of stress from a lot of sources.
A lot of fans are concerned that Bethenny will quit The Real Housewives of New York City. They might be right to worry.
Bethenny says that the show is draining. Will she leave the cast … again?
Bethenny was part of the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City as far back as 2008.
She left in 2010 … only to rejoin the Bravo series in 2014.
She is iconic and has a massive fanbase, but, as she tells The Metro UK, Bethenny still considers leaving the show.
Bethenny says that she thinks about departing “every so often.”
When asked about her future plans, Bethenny is very honest:
“I honestly don’t know.”
She says that the choice to remain part of RHONY‘s cast is a perennial consideration.
“I have to make this decision each season.”
Bethenny does discuss how exhausting reality stardom can be.
“This season was a very emotionally draining one.”
There was more than just appearing on cameras that tired her out, however.
“I took on way too much with the Puerto Rico effort.”
She did a huge amount for Puerto Rico. She’s known for her philanthropy, and she raced to fill the gap when the Trump Administration refused to provide sufficient assistance.
“Combined with motherhood, my career, three renovations, and three TV shows, I hit the wall.”
That happens to everyone. Even to someone as driven and relentless as Bethenny.
“I am very focused on philanthropy and I hit a wall and had to revisit my life, my choices, and my personal happiness.”
Self-care is important.
Bethenny also discussed some new friendships that she forged with a couple of RHONY castmates
“Bonding happens for different reasons.”
She’s absolutely right.
“This season, Luann and Sonja (and even myself) hit rock bottom in different ways so it formed a connection between us.”
And they sort of grew closer in the process.
“We all needed to make a change in our lives.”
She was particularly impressed by Countess Luann de Lesseps taking control of her life after she was arrested for trespassing and kicking a police officer.
“To be honest, Luann handled her very negative situation in an impressive and graceful way.”
That’s certainly true.
Bethenny continues to praise Luann’s recovery.
“She faced it head on and moved forward. I felt genuine compassion for her and simply felt a connection there.”
As for how their newfound friendship has formed, Bethenny says that it was spontaneous.
“It just happened. I cannot explain it, but that was the evolution of the relationship.”
Hey, that’s how a lot of things happen.
“If you see something, you react. Luann seemed vulnerable and scared and was handling it with dignity and grace.”
That is absolutely true.
“No matter what she does or has done, if she is honest about it, I can connect to her. Her honesty was what bonded us.”
That’s wonderful! And it would be a great reason for Bethenny to remain on the show.
That said, Bethenny’s fallen friendship with Carole Radziwill has to be weighing on her.
The two simply grew apart as they spent months on end last summer doing very different things.
Carole competed in a marathon, which is great if you like running, but sometimes people move on when they’re not side-by-side.
The fallout from that has led to some palpable tension on RHONY.
But maybe her new friendships will be enough to keep Bethenny onboard for a little while longer, at least.

Luann de Lesseps: Already Filming for RHONY in Case She Goes to Prison!
Within less than a year’s time, Luann de Lesseps got married, got divorced, and got arrested on multiple felonies.
For a person, that’s disastrous. But for a reality star? That’s amazing fodder for television.
And producers are reportedly so enthused about Luann’s upcoming court drama that they’re pulling out all of the stops to capture her story … before she potentially spends time behind bars.
Because 2017 wasn’t surreal enough, Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps got arrested for kicking a police officer.
In Florida, of course.
Apparently, she went to the wrong hotel room and refused to leave it. When police were called, she locked herself in the bathroom … and went so far as to slam a door on a police officer’s face.
Here’s some advice, folks: don’t do that.
Luann checked herself into rehab for alcohol, a great way to either work on getting better or at least make it appear that she’s addressing her behavior.
But she’s due in court later this month, after being charged with four felonies.
Now, Luann tweeted out her apologies, sounding mortified, revealing that being in Palm Beach had brought up some powerful negative emotions.
Hey, we get that. It’s not an excuse, per say, but you don’t need old marriage drama for Florida to have that effect on you. Just saying.
Honestly, the wildest part of that whole situation is the details of Luann’s arrest.
Not the violence or the threats of violence — that’s, you know, not actually funny. But the fact that she slipped her handcuffs.
Either some PR-conscious officer cuffed her a little too gently, or Luann is a serious escape artist. Dang.
Some feared that Luann de Lesseps’ arrest might get her fired from The Real Housewives of New York.
If you were one of those worried, you can probably rest easy.
All reality television is essentially the TV version of a messy b–ch who lives for drama. The wilder that someone’s real-life highs and lows are, the better television they’l make.
Besides, Luann’s arrest isn’t exactly secret, which makes it free publicity for the show.
There is such a thing as bad publicity, don’t get us wrong, but this wasn’t it.
RadarOnline reports that producers are already working to make sure that Luann’s storyline is captured on film.
“Bravo is NOT filming at the moment but producer have reached out to her and asked that she document what’s going on in her life.”
Does that mean that she’s filming, like, confessional segments on her phone or a webcam? We’re not sure. No matter what the camera quality, though, it’s bound to be interesting.
“They need as much home footage as possible to edit Luann and her troubles into the show.”
That makes a lot of sense.
That same source goes on to assure us all that Luann’s status as a Real Housewife is safe.
“If anything, this incident has secured her job.”
Though it has, to be clear, endangered her actual real life.
“The producers love nothing better than real life drama and with the exception of wedding and divorces, nothing is better on reality TV than a court hearing that could result in jail.”
Luann might be worried about her future — with four felony charges, that’s justified. But producers feel differently:
“They are giddy with excitement about what will happen to Luann.”
Well, that’s show business.
