The Real Housewives of New York City Reunion Recap: Bethenny Puts Jules On Blast

Now it makes sense why Jules Wainstein is leaving The Real Housewives of New York City:

She wants to get as far away from Bethenny Frankel as humanly possible.

And we can’t blame her, not after Wednesday night’s display.

On part two of the show’s annual reunion special, Frankel took aim at Wainstein, insulting her marriage, her integrity and even her religion.

The barrage of endless insults was rather impressive, really.

It started after viewers watched a highlight reel of Jules and her soon-to-be ex-husband, Michael, which prompted Jules to get teary-eyed and claim that her marriage over the past decade was nothing like the mess the series depicted it to be this season.

What happened between the two?

“I can’t really talk about it,” Wainstein said.

But Frankel was happy to do so!

She claimed that anonymous “mutual friends” had told her that Jules had signed a prenup and was “going on the show to get divorced.”

Wait… huh? Can you expound, Bethenny?

Actually, please do not, Dorinda Medley said.

“You’re hurting her!” Dorinda told Bethenny “She doesn’t want to talk about it, Bethenny. Respect that.”

So that topic was dropped… but then a new one emerged.

Once the topic of Jules’ eating issues came up, Bethenny mentioned how she saw her mother struggled with a disorder as a child and, well, this means Jules is a terrible Jewish person.

“I don’t think that you represented a positive side of being Jewish at all,” Bethenny hilariously said, prior to listing things Jules had done.

Such as: bragging about hiring a woman to potty train her child for a $ 2,000 fee and asking her nanny if she would wait in line at a sample sale.

Frankel even came and said Jules was making a mockery of Judaism.

“You can’t say that!” Sonja snapped.

“I can do whatever I want, Sonja,” Bethenny replied.

HA! We loved it.

We also loved the discussion of Luann and Tom, especially how the former insists on standing by the latter.

No matter what.

Luann said she “knew in the first week” that she would marry Tom, even though the impending marriage will strip her of her countess title.

What about the romantic gestures Tom made toward Ramona, which she was all too happy to recount? Such as the specific restaurants they went to and how they played pool?

Sonja then said that while this romance had been going on, she had also been seeing Tom.

Heck, “I’m single now,” Jules quipped. “Maybe I’m going to get to date Tom!”

But Luann didn’t care about Tom’s past or his lying. She didn’t even care when Ramona showed her an old picture of her hand with a heart drawn on the palm, along with her and Tom’s initials.

Clearly, a lot more had gone on there than Tom had claimed.

“She doesn’t know what a lie is because she lies so much!” Carole screamed, while Bethenny called Luann “Lie-ann.”

“Back off!” Luann snapped before calling Sonja “delusional.”

After Sonja made it pretty clear she had slept with Tom many times, Luann had had enough.

“We are soul mates, and we are getting married,” she said very simply.

Anyone care to wager on how quickly they get divorced?

Jules Wainstein: NOT Returning to The Real Housewives of New York

Her divorce has taken its toll, so much that Jules Wainstein is not coming back to The Real Housewives of New York.

After just one season, the willowy brunette has decided to focus on her personal life, which at the moment is in turmoil.

Though neither Jules herself nor Bravo has confirmed the departure, a source told E! News that the Modern Alkeme founder has decided to put her energy towards her children.

“Jules is going good through a divorce and is putting her family first,” her rep told the site, careful to avoid confirming her exit.

Jules, 35, filed for divorce from husband Michael back in June, and since then the cops have been called to the couple’s apartment at least twice.

Last month, Jules was granted a temporary restraining order from Michael, whom she has allegedly said she feels “threatened” by.

“She is a great mom who is just focused on her kids right now,” a source close to Jules told E! News.

“With the ongoing drama starting to take its toll, the source says Jules is “trying take the high road.”

The couple’s eight-year marriage ended because Jules believed Michael was unfaithful several times.  Most recently, Michael has been spotted holding hands with psychologist Elyse Bensusan.

The Daily Mail published photos of the two shopping at Homegoods and heading to an apartment that they are believed to be moving into.

Michael is eight years older than Jules, whom he has known since they were young.  Like a lot of Housewives marriages before them, Jules and Michael’s began to unravel on the show.

Jules was asked by friend and fellow castmate Dorinda Medley, whom she met at a wedding five years ago, to join the franchise.

“She called me up one day, and she was like, ‘Would you be interested in being a Housewife?’ For me, it was kind of perfect timing,” Jules told the New York Post.

“I love attention.  Imagine having your hair and makeup professionally done all the time, and then people, like, staring at you through a lens.

“It’s fun.”

At the time, Jules was ready to become a star, unaware that reality TV was a nasty beast that would chew her up and spit her out.

“I kind of get high off of taking risks. So I couldn’t say no,” Jules continued.

“My whole life, everyone said, ‘You need your own reality show.’ But I never thought it would actually happen,” she said.

“It’s still like a dream.”

Oh, gurl.

Jules Wainstein: Husband Michael Wants Full Custody Of Their Kids!

Things are bad between The Real Housewives of New York‘s Jules Wainstein and her estranged husband, Michael.

Michael, a principal at Private Capital Group, filed for divorce in mid-June, and Jules’ rep confirmed to Bravo that Michael’s infidelity led to the end of the marriage.

Now, TMZ reports that Michael is going after full custody of the couple’s two children, Jagger and Zoe.  Sources tell the site that his lawyers are preparing to request primary custody, and to only allow Jules supervised visits.

Michael believes that Jules is too “erratic” to have even joint custody.

Jules called 911 on the morning of August 10th after having an argument with Michael, who left the house before police got there.  A source close to Michael told Page Six that the reality star “went insane” and was yelling inside the couple’s New York City apartment.

“She started screaming, ‘I will get you out of this house!’ As he was walking out the door with their son, she screamed, ‘You hit me!’” the source said.

Not so, an insider close to Jules claims.

“That did not happen,” Jules’ friend said.

“He ran out naked in front of his son and daughter. He did something s - - - ty in front of their son. The lawyers are well aware. She’s at court getting a restraining order.”

Jules has accused Michael of having an affair with their friend, psychologist Elyse Bensusan.  The Daily Mail has photographs of the two walking hand-in-hand in New York last month.

Michael and Elyse were also spotted shopping at Home Goods, then traveled to an apartment where they are believed to be moving into. Elyse is separated, and has two daughters with estranged husband Tsion Bensusan.

The cracks in Jules and Michael’s marriage has begun to show on Housewives, which Jules has only joined this past season.

Both parties will report to court on September 8th to hammer out divorce details.

Jules Wainstein: Husband Files Shocking Divorce Papers

We already knew that Jules and Michael Wainstein were divorcing.

We didn’t know much about the reasons behind it, but Michael kindly filed the divorce papers and gave us a little insight into it all.

Michael filed the divorce on July 15, with reports claiming that Jules has very much been served.

Michael has listed the divorce as contested.

This means that the couple are at war and they require a judge to step in and set the terms of the divorce.

We’re still none the wiser about what really caused it, but it’s clear they’re struggling to agree on some things.

There’s even word that they’re using the same attorneys that represented Bethenny Frankel.

Are these attorneys somehow associated with Bravo?

There’s a good chance of that. It’s difficult to imagine that it can be much of a coincidence. Right?!

If you recall, Bethenny’s divorce carried on for three years, so Waintsteins should probably get used to the fact that they aren’t parting quickly.

They have two children together. There’s no word on if there will be shared custody between the two of them.

Jules’ friend and cast mate, Ramona Singer recently spoke out about the whole divorce and made it clear that she would stand by her friend.

She also noted that she strictly abides by girl code.

If you watch The Real Housewives of New York City online, you probably know that Bethenny and Jules are far from best friends.

It does make for some first class TV.

What do you think about all of this?

Jules Wainstein Calls Cops on Estranged Husband

The Jules Wainstein divorce has gone from scandalous to scary.

Multiple outlets have confirmed that The Real Housewives of New York Star star called the police on her estranged husband on Thursday morning after feeling threatened by her soon-to-be ex, Michael.

“Jules was the one who called the police,” an insider tells E! News, adding that Wainstein needed help from the authorities because Michael was speaking to her in a threatening manner.

It’s unknown at this time exactly what was said.

But no arrests were made.

This call to the cops arrives on the heels of the reality star confirming that her marriage has come to an end after eight years together.

Unsurprisingly, the E! source says “this divorce is contentious and it’s going to be ongoing.”

At least Wainstein has the support of Ramona Singer, however.

Those who watch The Real Housewives of New York City online or on television say tension between the Wainsteins reach a boiling point this past Wednesday.

During the latest episode of the Bravo hit, the famous couple arrived late to dinner with Dorinda Medley and her boyfriend, John.

A frazzled Jules apologized to her costar and friend, blaming their tardiness on her husband.

Michael then kept excusing himself during the meal to talk on his phone, prompting Jules to openly wonder who he kept talking to.

At one point during the very awkward (albeit entertaining!) evening, Michael made a quip about hiring the coat check lady to be their nanny.

“If Michael is making a joke to the coat check about having a hot nanny, go f–k yourself,” Jules told the camera.

It’s worth noting that the couple is getting divorced because Jules suspects Michael of cheating.

“They were having issues before the show but I think pressure from filming clearly put a strain the marriage,” an insider told E! in the recent past.

“It brought things to a head.”

This is all especially said because the Wainsteins are the parents to two kids, Rio, 2, and Jagger, 5.

The Real Housewives of New York City airs on Bravo Wednesdays at 9/8c.

Ramona Singer Opens Up About Jules Wainstein Divorce

Ramona SInger has opened up about Jules Wainstein’s divorce.

She wants to make it clear to the world that she will continue to support her friend through her divorce.

“I’m very saddened for Jules. I know her heart’s broken. It’s never easy when there are problems in a marriage, especially when you realize you need to divorce and I’m there for her,” the reality star told E! News.

“She’s doing as well as she can in the situation and her priority—because she is such a great mother—are her two children.”

Ramona continued: “I think Jules was totally shocked by what happened and was very disappointed and it’s sad. It’s just very sad.”

Jules was a new addition to the cast for The Real Housewives of New York City Season 8 and things looked pretty rosy for her family on the outside, but apparently the cameras were not a welcome addition for her husband, Michael.

Things were rocky to say the least, yet these cameras seemed to be the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Jules obviously didn’t bank on losing her husband due to the series, but we’ll no doubt get to see a lot more about the whole thing when we watch The Real Housewives of New York City online.

Ramona maintains that girl code is a top priority of hers and she will ensure that her friend is supported through thick and thin.

“I believe in girls’ code. Girls help other girls and I know I’m going to be there so much for her,” she told E! News.

“I’ve already spoken a number of times with her and I plan to meet with her and just be there to support her in any way I can.”

Having friends through this tough time will no doubt help Jules get through this tough stage of her life.

It should be interesting to see how it all plays out on the show.

Better yet, will Michael stay back from filming for good now?

There is also the possibility that he will want to get his side of the story across to the public.

No one likes a one-sided story!
