Ariana Grande Reveals Pain, Deep Emotional Struggles

A lot of Americans had a hell of a week and a very difficult Thursday, in light of current events. Well, so did Ariana Grande.

Ariana has inspired fans to cope and heal in the wake of Mac Miller’s tragic death, but she’s having a difficult time, too.

On Thursday, she revealed her emotional struggles on Twitter.

Thursday, September 27, Ariana Grande took to Twitter to share that she was going through a difficult time.

“Can i pls have one okay day. just one. pls,” she tweeted.

Ariana continued her plea to the universe — or perhaps a scream into the void, as so many of us use Twitter.

She wrote: “i’m so tired pls.”

From this point, her tweets took on a darker, more negative tone.

Ariana Grande Tweets About Emotional Pain on 27 September 2018

Ariana tweet-quoted her post from earlier in the week, which read “everything will be okay.”

She had clearly reconsidered, as she wrote: “j f–king k.”

As if that were not already crushing enough to read from such a good-hearted, wonderful celebrity, she also expressed a troubling state of mind.

“[Thank you] for loving me [so much] i do not deserve it,” Ariana tweeted.

Fans saw these tweets and were understandably very worried.

After fans gave her an outpouring of concern and love, Ariana gave a heartfelt reply.

“ur angels in my life,” she assured her beloved Arianators.

“it’s just been a tough month,” Ariana explained.

“i’m trying to get my work done and get back to normal,” Ariana continued. “And it’s hard and i’m human and tired.”

“sorry i let u in or worried u,” Ariana pologized. “i shouldn’t have tweeted. i kno better.”

For the record, Ariana should absolutely have tweeted. Her fans and followers love her and want her to feel free to express herself, whether she’s thirsting over her fiance or grieving the tragic death of her ex.

Or even if she’s just having a bad day.

Ariana sent out a couple of “ily” tweets following her more negative tweets, telling her followers that she loves them in an appreciation of their support.

We absolutely hope that Ariana is doing well.

Every person has their struggles, but Ariana has been through so much recently.

In 2017, Ariana and her audience were the victims of a vicious terrorist attack. Fans — including children — were wounded, maimed, and killed.

Ariana, along with so many others, was traumatized by the event. She took a long time to recover, and was just returning to public life with the release of her album, Sweetener, this summer.

She was celebrating her return and her engagement to Pete Davidson when Mac Miller died of an apparent overdose.

Now, Ariana is living a nightmare. Not only did her ex die suddenly, but some of his fans were cruel enough to blame her. Generally speaking, the only thing to blame for an overdose is addiction.

Ariana is a treasure and a talent and she deserves all of the happiness in the world. It is heartbreaking to see her suffering. We hope that she is able to find that comforting light again.

Audrey Roloff: I Love Having God Deep in Me!

Audrey Roloff has sometimes been accused of exploiting her religion for the same of commercialism.

At times, she has shared a lengthy message about her faith on Instagram… only to then link to her online store and/or ask followers to purchase something.

It can come across as a bit phony and very tacky.

But the Little People, Big World star has not done that in her latest Instagram message.

It’s heartfelt and personal and profound… seemingly just to be heartfelt and personal and profound.

“God is more concerned with what he’s doing in me than what he’s doing through me,” Audrey noted to open her post, adding:

“It got me thinking more about who I am supposed to BE and less about what I am supposed to DO.”

This is not such an entirely point from the one Roloff made when she said Jesus wants you to get off Instagram and just go out and enjoy life.

“What is it with our obsession with busyness?” asks Audrey, explaining herself as follows:

“And why is it that our capacity for multitasking is usually met with praise? What if the amount of stuff that we are DOing, is consequently robbing us of BEing…”

It’s a fair question, right?

Think of all the people out there who brag about working 80 hours per week or something?

Why is this impressive? Why should these folks not be more proud of themselves for sitting back, spending time with those who love more often and appreciating their lives?

Continues Roloff:

“What if God wants to rewire our hearts and life to DO less, and BE more! What if all our “doing” is making it harder for us to see who He has called us to BE?”

Audrey and husband Jeremy, of course, do sort of make a living off the phrase “Always More.”

It’s the name of their clothing line and its tagline (“Always Believe in the More That is Within You”) jibes with this general theme of Audrey’s.

She often tries to encourage followers to reflect more than to act; she espouses strong self-esteem and strong faith at all times.

This is how she closed her Instagram caption in this case:

As I was reading late last night the “be” words in scripture started standing out as if the Holy Spirit was highlighting them. “BE patient, BE still, BE thankful, BE compassionate, BE joyful, BE faithful, BE fearless…”

Then it hit me… God takes more delight in my “to-be” list than my “to-do” list….

What’s on your “to-be” list! Who and what has God called you to BE?

What do you think of Roloff’s message here?

Important and helpful? Or a bunch of hogwash?

Eric Trump Thinks Ellen DeGeneres is Part of "The Deep State"

Eric Trump is totally on to Ellen DeGeneres.

She may play all calm and cool and funny and happy and peaceful and loving on television, but the President’s son knows what’s really going on here.

And he’s finally come out and revealing his truth to the world…

… Ellen DeGeneres is a key member of The Deep State!

This is a term often thrown around by Sean Hannity and other like-minded conservatives.

It gained momentum during the 2016 Presidential campaign after being trumpeted by ex-White House strategist Steve Bannon and it refers to an alleged shadowy entity of civil servants.

This shadowy entity of civil servants purportedly coordinates efforts and policies behind-the-scenes to delegitimize the Donald Trump administration.

Many members of the mainstream press, someone like Eric Trump would argue, are working with The Deep State to bring down the commander-in-chief.

How does Ellen fit in?

What has she done to earn this reputation?

It’s unclear.

But consider the following Tweet by Eric Trump, which has gone viral for its hilarious accusation:

“Shocking… once again, here are the @Twitter “suggestions” of who I should follow. #DeepState,” wrote Eric as a caption to the screen capture of who Twitter thinks he may want to follow.

One person listed there is the previous President of the United States.

Another person listed there is the candidate Donald Trump defeated to become President.

(If either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton are members of the supposed Deep State, well, they aren’t very deep undercover.)

And the third person is beloved talk show host, comedian and former American Idol judge, Ellen DeGeneres.

Ellen is very likely a Democrat, but she actually isn’t very outspoken when it comes to politics.

Yes, she once sent a message to Donald Trump that was based around Finding Dory.

But she mostly talks on her show about love and respect and hope, which… okay, nevermind. We get it now.

These aren’t exactly Donald Trump-espoused values, are they?

As you might expect, Eric Trump’s Tweet has become quite a source of ridicule on social media.

Some folks are trying to teach him how Twitter works (“I know you’re not the smart one, but Twitter’s algorithm looks at who you searched for most recently when making suggestions. It looks like you might have recently searched for a Democrat, buddy.”) …

… while others are just openly mocking him.

To wit:

Said another user, pretty much summing up Eric’s statement:

This is the most unintentionally hilarious tweet of the very very new year!

Fast forward 362 days and we have a feeling it may remain the most unintentionally hilarious Tweet of the year.

Good luck, trying to top it, everyone else on the planet.

This is gonna be a challenge.

Life of Kylie Premiere Recap: Inner Struggles, Deep Thoughts and Bathroom Selfies

Kylie Jenner’s new reality show Life of Kylie debuted Sunday, with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star striking out on her own.

We’ve got all the highlights from it right here in case you missed the landmark TV event that was Life of Kylie Season 1 Episode 1 …

Those tuning in to watch Life of Kylie online can expect a lot of introspection and Jenner waxing philosophical about life in the limelight.

Jenner’s social media fame and celebrity are unmatched, but whether this formula for a show can sustain fan interest is another story.

In essence, Life of Kylie explores the behind-the-scenes … well, life of Kylie Jenner that you don’t see online, such as our girl’s friendships.

Chief among those friendships is with Jordyn Woods.

The premiere showed us exactly how Kylie and Jordyn made California high school student Albert Ochoa’s celebrity dream date come true.

Ochoa’s prom featured quite the pair of celebrity guests, which is a really cool thing about fame. But being famous has a downside, too.

Kylie scoffs at those who say she leads a charmed life.

“[I] laugh. In their face. Nobody has a perfect life,” she said. “The only different thing about me is probably just that I have nice things.”

“But what you realize when you get there – when I know I could buy any car, any house – is that that happiness lasts two seconds.”

“That’s not real happiness [or] where I find happiness.”

“I’m so blessed that I got to experience this at such a young age and learn that, so now I can find what really is going to make me happy.”

Of the fact that she has a public persona on display at all times, she says, “There’s an image that I feel constantly pressured to keep up with.”

“In order to stay relevant for the public, I have to be on Instagram and I have to be on Snapchat just keeping people entertained.”

“And then there’s who I really am around my friends.”

“That’s who I want you guys to get to know. It’s way easier for me to post on Snapchat or Instagram than it is to be out in public.”

So she’s … kind of an introvert then!?

“I just feel like for so long I’ve been putting on this different persona to the world … I felt like I started to depend on social media.”

“Feeling the need to post all the time. I feel like I have to keep up this idea of who I am. I think I lost a lot of parts of myself.”

“My funny side … when I was 14 I used to post all these funny videos all the time, just me being like, super weird and funny and myself.”

“I feel like once I started getting a little bit bigger, then people really started to … everyone says mean things sometimes, it’s just how social media is.”

“It’s a really mean, negative space. Every single day I see something negative about me. When that started happening, that really affected me.”

“So I was like: ‘I’m not going to show people that side of me anymore.’ I’m kind of putting up a version of myself to the world that isn’t fully me.”

In that sense, Kylie Jenner – the most popular young woman on the ENTIRE Internet, you could argue – feels like something of an outcast.

“I have a soft spot for the outcasts because I guess I was the outcast in a lot of ways, growing up. I still feel like an outcast,” she says.

“I can’t relate to a lot of people. I had to get home-schooled, not because I wanted to but because I missed so much when I was working.”

“It’s hard to feel normal. I started filming when I was 9 years old. I really don’t know what it’s like to not have everyone know who I am.”

“I don’t know what it’s like to live a normal life, where people  don’t know who you are, to get out of the car and not have everyone stare.”

“I feel like when you grow up on camera, people think that they know you because you’re on social media so much and you’re on reality TV.”

“I for sure didn’t choose this life, but I’m not going to say that I’m totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle.”

“I know I’m making myself more famous by having an Instagram and posting photos, but I’m not that type of person where I want all the attention.”

“I don’t like that. It actually freaks me out, because it reminds me that I’m ‘Kylie f–king Jenner.’ A lot of people have it worse than me.”

“It’s just a lot to handle. Sometimes, I’m like: ‘This is it. I’m insane.’ I feel like this fame thing is going to come to an end sooner than we think.”

“I’m getting the bug again, where I just want to run away. I just don’t know who I’m doing it for. The new goal in my life is to just live.”

In conclusion, the increasingly relatable 19-year-old says:

“I live the most extraordinary life, and I’m very grateful. But the moments I feel completely normal and just a 19-year-old girl, it’s the best.”

Of course, that doesn’t mean she’s going reclusive yet.

Kylie is as known for her selfies as anything, and for good reason, though she adds that it’s harder than you might think to perfect the art.

“Posting a selfie is really hard because it’s a lot of pressure. It has to be perfect. I check the comments right when I post.”

“If they’re like: ‘What the f–k is this Kylie?’ then I delete that s–t super fast and reevaluate my decision!” Kylie reveals.

It’s a hard life, but someone’s gotta head it ….

Prodigy Dies; Mobb Deep Rapper Was 42

Prodigy, the rapper best known for his work as one half of the hip hop duo Mobb Deep, has passed away at the age of 42.

Though no cause of death has been reported, the hip hop icon’s passing is believed to be related to his long battle with sickle cell anemia.

A statement issued by Mobb Deep’s publicist reports that Prodigy was hospitalized  “a few days ago in Vegas after a Mobb Deep performance for complications caused by a sickle cell anemia crisis.”

The representative added:

“As most of his fans know, Prodigy battled the disease since birth.”

Prodigy (born Albert Johnson) was in Las Vegas performing with The Art of Rap tour, alongside such artists as Ghostface Killah, Onyx, KRS-One, Ice-T.

Along, with fellow Queensbridge Housing Project resident Havoc (born Kejuan Muchita) Prodigy formed Mobb Deep in 1992.

The group has long held a position of great esteem amongst hip hop fans and critics, and Prodigy was widely considered to be one of the most gifted technical rappers of the ’90s and early 2000s.

Mobb Deep found mainstream success with hits such as “Shook Ones” and “The Quiet Storm.”

Following a public feud, Johnson and Muchita went their separate ways in 2012, but reunited a year later, and embarked on a number of successful tours in the years that followed.

Considered a rap pioneer for his work alongside Havoc in the early ’90s, Prodigy is often cited as a major influence by such modern-day rappers as Eminem and 50 Cent.

The group signed to 50’s G-Unit production company in 2005 and began collaborating with the label’s roster of well-known rappers.

The back-to-back albums The Infamous and Hell On Earth were both tremendously successful both commercially and critically.

Around the time of those albums, Prodigy and Havoc became embroiled in the East Coast-West Coast hip hop feuds that claimed the lives of both Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.

Prodigy was imprisoned for three years for weapons possession, and released an autobiography shortly after his 2011 release.

Tributes to Prodigy from friends, fans, and the many famous rappers he influenced have made the late emcee a worldwide trending topic on social media.
