Barbara Kavovit: Joining The Real Housewives of New York City!
Poor Luann de Lesseps has been so embattled during her recovery from alcoholism. She could always use another friend — and there’s good news.
Luann’s friend Barbara Kavovit will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City.

Us Weekly confirms that Barbara Kavovit is joining The Real Housewives of New York City!
Barbara, who runs an on-the-go bag business called DIYva, is known for her friendship with Luann de Lesseps.
Given Luann’s recent struggles with sobriety and the hurtful claims that some have made about her recovery, fans will be happy to see Luann have another ally in the room.
It is unclear whether Barbara will be a Full Housewife or not, and Bravo has declined to confirm that Barbara is joining at all just yet.
But given that Carole Radziwill has just departed after six seasons of that status, someone has to fill that role.
Back in Season 9, Barbara had an off-camera discussion with Carole Radziwill about Tom D’Agostino, who was, at the time, Luann’s fiance.
She didn’t show up on camera in the episode, which aired in May of 2017, but fans could hear her voice because it was picked up by Carole’s mic.
“I think she has something to prove,” Barbara could be heard speculating about Luann’s determination to get married.
If you’ll recall, everyone tried to talk her out of marrying this man who was clearly no good for her. To no avail.
“She’d rather go through with it and get divorced than call it off,” Barbara assessed.
It was reported that Barbara tried her best to prevent the audio from airing. She and Luann are friends.
After all, in May of 2017, Luann and Tom were still married. But that wouldn’t last much longer.
Their 8-month marriage came to a crashing halt in August of that year.
(You know, just how Barbara and Bethenny and everyone else had told her that it would)
Clearly, Barbara’s little bit of gossip that aired hasn’t hurt her friendship with Luann in the long run. They were spotted hanging out together just last month!
As we mentioned, Carole has departed from the series.
“After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best,” Carole said in a statement.
Carole clarified that she means that she will be focusing on “journalism and producing.”
“I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind,” she writes.
That is a very generous assessment. Every Housewife has fans and haters in droves.
“My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years,” Carole explains.
That definitely sounds a lot better than Bethenny and I stopped being friends and this isn’t fun anymore.
“And,” Carole continued. “I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”
“I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind,” Carole says.
Carole’s statement concludes: “I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy.”
Let’s hope that Barbara Kavovit enjoys her stay.

That"s it, reality TV.
We give up. You win.
Every time we think this genre of entertainment cannot get any more absurd or far-fetched, we fire up the Internet or turn on the small screen and we"re proven wrong.
We figured we"d never be shocked again after Bristol Palin was hired to come on board as full-time Teen Mom OG cast member next season.
But now comes word that someone from who past will also appear on upcoming episodes.

1. Yes, Bristol Palin Really is Joining the Show
This announcement, which we still cannot get over, was made in mid-July, taking all fans by total and complete shock.
2. Is Bristol a Teen Mom?
No, but she was easily the most famous pregnant teenager in the country back when her mother ran for Vice President in 2008 and America learned that Palin, at 17 years old, was expecting a child.
3. What About Now?
Palin has three kids: a son named Tripp and two daughters, Sailor and Atlee. She is divorced from the father of her second two children, Dakota Meyer.
4. Who is the Father of Her Firstborn?
Levi Johnston, to whom Bristol was briefly engaged back during the 2008 Presidential campaign and someone who was rather prominent on the national scene at the time.
5. It’s True!
This goes back a decade, so we understand if some readers may not have been following the news closely back then. But, look, here he is ON STAGE at the Republican National Convention.

Maci Bookout Has One Big Problem with Bristol Palin Joining Teen Mom OG
Maci Bookout held little back as a guest this week on Kailyn Lowry’s “Coffee Convos” podcast.
First, as previously detailed, Maci spoke out for the first time since ex Ryan Edwards got arrested for approximately the 174th time.
From there, Bookout delved into the most pressing topic facing Teen Mom OG viewers at the moment…
… the addition of Bristol Palin to this franchise.
In mid-July, this daughter of an ignorant, close-minded and controversial former Vice Presidential candidate confirmed that she was headed to MTV, claiming she was joining the series in order to serve as a role model.
Asked about Palin as a co-star, Maci at first took a shot at former co-star Farrah Abraham, who was dismissed from Teen Mom this past winter due to her penchant for appearing in amateur porn videos.
“I really feel like I’m not gonna be mad about anybody joining because anybody’s better than Farrah,” Maci told Kailyn on the podcast.
Not many folks out there will disagree with this opinion.
It wasn’t exactly Maci’s most scorching take of all-time.
Bookout went on to tell Lowry and cohost Lindsie Chrisley that she doesn’t “really care if other people join the cast,” nor does she blame Bristol for doing so.
She simply would have appreciated any kind of heads-up prior to MTV announcing the decision.
“I think me and Catelynn [Lowell] and Amber [Portwood] are all pretty much on the same page,” Bookout explained, adding:
“If they bring in new cast members, we don’t want it to be called Teen Mom OG because that’s not true if there’s new cast members.
“We don’t really care who joins because in our minds, we’re like, if somebody is presented with the opportunity, or like, say, one of us was never on the show and they asked us, no one’s going to turn the opportunity down.
“You can’t be mad at somebody for accepting an opportunity.”
This is a reasonable point of view.
Of course, Palin is reportedly making $ 250,000 for one season of filming, which may be cause for tension between her and her new colleagues.
This huge salary could be considered disrespectful to those who have been part of the cast for years.
Bookout says she would have appreciated a “courtesy call” from producers, but didn’t sound all that peeved about Palin:
“That’s my problem. Like, hey, they know when it’s going to come out. They know when the official release is coming out so, like, an hour before, call.
Give us a call and be like, ‘Hey, by the way, this is who your new cast member is going to be. it’s being released today. … We’ve been doing this for 10 years!”
In her own statement since the news went viral, Bristol said the following about her upcoming role on Teen Mom OG:
I am excited to join MTV’s ‘Teen Mom OG.’ I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey.
Elsewhere, Lowry also asked Bookout about the reports that The Challenge’s Cheyenne Floyd and Corey Wharton are joining the cast.
But the long-time reality TV personality did not confirm or deny the casting rumor. Or seem to care much.
“I think because Bristol Palin has such a … I mean, her mom ran for vice president, so I think it’s just a bit of a bigger deal than fellow MTV stars coming on,” she said.
MTV has not yet announced a premiere date for Teen Mom OG Season 8.

Denise Richards: Joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?!
Remember the days of Denise Richards: It’s Complicated? The series debuted about a decade ago. it also came to an end almost a decade ago. That’s life.
But it looks like Denise is poised to return to reality television — but this time, as part of a successful franchise.
Denise is poised to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
A source tells People that Denise Richards is in talks to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the series’ 9th season.
“It’s not final yet,” their insider tells them of the negotiations.
But the source says that “It’s very close.”
That’s great news for fans, and could be even better news for Bravo.
The insider says: “Everyone is really excited about the possibility of having her on board!”
You would think that Denise Freaking Richards joining the cast would take nothing more than her expressing an interest, but things aren’t always so simple.
“Denise,” a second insider reveals. “Has been wanting to join the show for a long time.”
Well, dang. What’s the delay?
“She’s a huge Housewives fan and watches all of the shows,” the source continues.
If you imagine that just being a huge fan is enough to get you on the cast, though, you should think again.
But Denise has more than just fame to make her a total shoe-in for the role.
For starters, she’s already part of that world.
“And she has close relationships with many of the women in real life,” the insider explains. “Including Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna.”
Lisa Rinna just celebrated turning 55 with a nude selfie, reminding everyone why she’s a delight. But why hasn’t Denise joined the show before now?
“The timing was never right for her in the past,” the source reveals.
Okay, so that explains it. Timing for Denise and for Bravo needs to line up just right. We can absolutely understand that.
Right now, however, it’s become clear to the showrunners that Denise is exactly what the show requires for its ninth season.
“But,” the insider says. “The producers needed to shake the dynamic of the show up.”
Reality shows can stagnate, and the easiest way to change that is by shuffling the cast. Real Housewives is well known for this.
The source points out that Bravo knew that they needed to make a change “after a season without much conflict.”
People mature and quash feuds, which is great for them. But it doesn’t make for good television.
Denise could really spice things up.
But Denise isn’t intended as any old change. She’ll be an interesting addition on her own.
“She’s going to be a great fit,” the insider states.
That’s no surprise. She’s no stranger to television.
The source reminds everyone: “She’s not afraid of the drama.”
We should think not — we’re talking about a woman who was married to Charlie Sheen.
“And she lives a glamorous, Hollywood life,” the insider says. “Which the show looks for.”
We hope that this deal doesn’t fall through.

Bristol Palin Confirms Teen Mom OG News: This is Why I"m Joining...
Yup, she really is on her way, folks.
As previously reported, Bristol Palin is joining the cast of Teen Mom OG, ostensibly as a replacement for Farrah Abraham, who was fired by MTV in February of 2018.
While fans of the series continue to digest this stunning piece of news, Bristol herself is here to confirm two things:
- She IS coming on board.
- She has a benevolent reason for doing so.
What could that be?

1. I’m In!
Bristol shared this photo of herself, her three kids and also some cameramen as proof that she’s on board. This was her confirmation picture, posted to Instagram.
2. And This Was Her Confirmation Message:
She wrote as a caption to this image: “I am excited to join MTV’s ‘Teen Mom OG.’ I look forward to sharing my experiences and hope that I can help others on their journey.”
3. Reaction Has Been Mixed
As you can see from this excerpt of Instagram comments, some viewers are excited about Bristol… others think she is too “privileged” to be part of the cast… and others think she lacks “morals and class.”
4. No Morals? No Class?
We aren’t the ones saying this, but critics have long criticized Palin for having three kids by two different men, the latter of whom, Dakota Meyer, she’s in the process of getting a divorce from.
5. Maybe, That Is
It appears as if Palin and Meyer have reconciled, at least based on social media posts and messages. The two got married in May 2016 and the marine DID filr for divorce back in February. We just can’t verify where that filing now stands.
6. Bristol HAS Been Here Before
Remember, Bristol appeared on “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” in 2010, a Lifetime series titled “Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp” for one season in 2012 and two separate seasons of “Dancing with the Stars,” even finishing third one time. She is no stranger to reality TV.
Honey Boo Boo: I"m Joining Dancing With The Stars!
Olympics darling Adam Rippon and dance partner Jenna Johnson won Dancing With The Stars in the series’ first athlete-centered season.
We now know what the reality dance competiion series’ next gimmick will be: young stars.
And who better to reportedly join the new season’s list of competitors than one of the world’s most famous child stars, Honey Boo Boo.
Honey Boo Boo’s real name, of course, is Alana Thompson. She was just a little girl when she first rose to fame, but now she is 12 years old. She’ll become a teenager later this year.
And, according to The Blast, Alana Thompson is joining Dancing With The Stars.
They report that Alana has been in Los Angeles for the past week to train for the series.
She has been spotted going in and out of practice over these last several days.
According to all reports, she is apparently taking this very seriously.
This new season will be called Dancing With The Stars: Juniors, and will feature other famous kids.
According to Just Jared Junior, a bunch of familiar dancers headed into the DWTS studio to mentor these young stars.
Per their report, these dancers were Cheryl Burke, Hayley Erbert, Jenna Johnson, Lindsay Arnold, Artem Chigvintsev, Keo Motsepe, Sasha Farber, Gleb Savchenko, Whitney Carson, and Emma Slater.
Just Jared Junior also revealed that a slew of younger professional dancers will be actually dancing with the young stars.
These dancers were Rylee Arnold, Hailey Bills, Brightyn Brems, Artyon Celestine, JT Church, Kami Couch, Tristan Ianeiro, Lev Khmelev, Jake Monreal, Kamri Peterson, Sage Rosen, and Eliana Walmsley.
Mama June Shannon is reportedly in L.A. to support Alana on her Dancing With The Stars journey.
We’ve heard June explain that she has been regaining weight because she’s going blind.
She has recently been living in North Carolina so that she can receive world-class eye treatment at Duke Hospital to save what little eyesight she has left.
If she’s well enough to travel across the country to L.A. to support Alana in her foray into a reality dance competition, then hopefully she is doing better.
It would be nice if she can put that particular health scare behind her.
In recent episodes of From Not To Hot, Alana has seemed to bristle at being coached while preparing to enter a beauty pageant with her mother.
There’s no telling how much of that is Alana being 12, how much of that is her being experienced in pageants, and how much is just for the show.
(Face it, folks — people behave differently when they know that they’re on camera, and it’s not always for the better)
So some fans and viewers are wondering how well Alana will take to being coached on dancing for the series.
But maybe, since she has less experience with (professional) dancing, she’ll be more inclined to heed the advice that she’s given.
To be clear, ABC has not officially announced any part of this upcoming season’s cast list.
But new episodes of Dancing With The Stars: Juniors should air this September at 8pm.
We don’t know which other young stars will be competing alongside Alana, but we are excited to find out!

Mackenzie McKee: Joining Teen Mom OG! Officially Replacing Farrah Abraham!
What was long rumored is now official:
Farrah Abraham has been fired from Teen Mom: OG … and the void created by her absence is being filled by a familiar franchise face:
Mackenzie Douthit McKee!
Rumors of Mackenzie replacing Farrah have been swirling in the last few weeks, and for once, it looks like the rumors were true.
As you know, Farrah Abraham was fired by the network, making staggering accusations against MTV on her way out the door.
According to Farrah, producers shamed her for adult industry dealings, discriminated and committed hate crimes against her.
Abraham, who is suing Viacom over her dismissal, recently called for the cancellation of both Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2.
Not happening, obviously.
Not long after the special moment when producers fired Farrah (above), they pitched Mackenzie the idea of joining OG in her place.
McKee thought about it long and hard and after talking it over with her family, she reluctantly agreed on a number of conditions.
Ha! Just kidding.
She was all over that s–t like Farrah on a CamSoda live stream, as McKee, 23, had long sought to return to the spotlight.
Once a breakout star of the ill-fated, one-season flop Teen Mom 3, Mackenzie faded into obscurity after the show was axed.
McKee fought long and hard to remain relevant, building her Instagram fitness “brand” and growing her social media presence.
When times were tough, she got into insane public feuds with her husband Josh, possibly to gain celebrity news site coverage.
A year ago, she openly lobbied to join Teen Mom 2, only to have the network go with fellow Teen Mom 3 castoff Briana DeJesus.
The spurned Mackenzie feuded with Briana and let it be known publicly that she was the rightful choice to return to the network.
Finally, her work is paying off.
Not to be deterred, she was in the right place at the right time when Farrah ran afoul of her handlers for the final time last fall.
According to a TMZ report, McKee has officially joined the OG cast, and she’s already shooting scenes for upcoming episodes.
They were already shooting a two-hour special with her about her mom’s cancer battle, which she revealed earlier this year.
Mackenzie’s mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 brain cancer, and that heartbreak will be depicted on a special MTV event.
But that’s just the beginning.
Insiders confirm that Mackenzie agreed to step in for Farrah and has been filming for more than a week at home in Oklahoma.
Ryan Edwards’ wife, Mackenzie Standifer, was also considered as MTV’s replacement, and appeared to have the upper hand.
Standifer, being married to Maci Bookout’s ex, was already on the show in a sense and did not need to be introduced to fans.
Ultimately, that worked against her, as she will likely continue to be on the show as long as Ryan is … and he is a lot lately.
Enter Mrs. McKee.
The seemingly innocent Starbucks selfie above signaled that she was back in the fold, as the staff often gets their coffee before filming.
In any case, Mackenzie’s mom is reportedly struggling to pay her medical bills, so you can feel good about her getting paid for this.
Moreover, Teen Mom is often criticized for its negative portrayal of single moms, and McKee may offer a breath of fresh air.
Explosive Facebook fights aside, she is married to the father of her three kids, and retains an enthusiastic fan base online.
Replacing someone as unpopular as Farrah with the beloved Mackenzie may be just the message producers want to send.

Sofia Richie: Joining the Cast of Keeping Up With the Kardashians?!
It’s never easy to see a recent ex move on with someone new.
Fortunately, unlike Kourtney Kardashian, most of us will probably never find ourselves in the position of being forced to star on TV series with our ex’s new significant other.
As you may have heard, Scott Disick is dating Sofia Richie.
Despite the age difference (Scott is 34; Sofia 19), Scott’s alcoholism, and about a bajiliion other obstacles, the couple is said to be moving very quickly.
In fact, after just a few months of dating, Scott and Sofia have reportedly pledged their love for one another.
This news comes on the heels of reports that Scott is seething with jealousy over Kourtney’s relationship with Younes Bendjima and only dating Sofia out of a desire for revenge.
Needless to say, the situation is complex and rife with drama–which means it should come as no surprise that Kris Jenner is looking for ways to exploit it.
“Kris is considering officially taking Sofia on as a cast member because the alternative is losing Scott, who’s a real fan-favorite,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“Kourtney can’t believe it. She can barely tolerate Scott let alone his new 19-year-old ‘piece’ as she calls Sofia.”
While it’s true that Scott is often the most enteraining part of KUWTK, the decision to add Sofia to the cast is not understandably not sitting well with Kourtney, especially since it was her own mother who made the call.
But apparently, Kourtney’s protestations are falling on deaf ears:
“The idea that this kid could start profiting from the family show makes Kourt feel totally betrayed, but Kris argues that she hasn’t made a bad business decision yet and that Kourtney needs to trust her,” the insider says.
Oh, man. That attitude must get exhausting.
Imagine arguing with a parent who also made your awesome career, and every time you make a good point, they’re like, “Yeah, I guess that’s true. Remember when you weren’t rich and famous, and I changed that?”
Between dealing with Scott and Kris, Kourtney could probably write a book on coping with narcisstic d-bags.
On the other, hand that’s really not necessary.
