Barbara Kavovit: Joining The Real Housewives of New York City!

Poor Luann de Lesseps has been so embattled during her recovery from alcoholism. She could always use another friend — and there’s good news.

Luann’s friend Barbara Kavovit will be joining the cast of The Real Housewives of New York City.

This won’t be the first time that viewers have heard what she has to say on the show, however. …

Us Weekly confirms that Barbara Kavovit is joining The Real Housewives of New York City!

Barbara, who runs an on-the-go bag business called DIYva, is known for her friendship with Luann de Lesseps.

Given Luann’s recent struggles with sobriety and the hurtful claims that some have made about her recovery, fans will be happy to see Luann have another ally in the room.

It is unclear whether Barbara will be a Full Housewife or not, and Bravo has declined to confirm that Barbara is joining at all just yet.

But given that Carole Radziwill has just departed after six seasons of that status, someone has to fill that role.

Back in Season 9, Barbara had an off-camera discussion with Carole Radziwill about Tom D’Agostino, who was, at the time, Luann’s fiance.

She didn’t show up on camera in the episode, which aired in May of 2017, but fans could hear her voice because it was picked up by Carole’s mic.

“I think she has something to prove,” Barbara could be heard speculating about Luann’s determination to get married.

If you’ll recall, everyone tried to talk her out of marrying this man who was clearly no good for her. To no avail.

“She’d rather go through with it and get divorced than call it off,” Barbara assessed.

It was reported that Barbara tried her best to prevent the audio from airing. She and Luann are friends.

After all, in May of 2017, Luann and Tom were still married. But that wouldn’t last much longer.

Their 8-month marriage came to a crashing halt in August of that year.

(You know, just how Barbara and Bethenny and everyone else had told her that it would)

Clearly, Barbara’s little bit of gossip that aired hasn’t hurt her friendship with Luann in the long run. They were spotted hanging out together just last month!

As we mentioned, Carole has departed from the series.

“After six seasons on Bravo’s RHONYC, I have decided to return to what I do best,” Carole said in a statement.

Carole clarified that she means that she will be focusing on “journalism and producing.”

“I am sure this does not come as a surprise to any of the viewers, all of whom have been supportive, encouraging, and kind,” she writes.

That is a very generous assessment. Every Housewife has fans and haters in droves.

“My original curiosity about reality television has waned over the years,” Carole explains.

That definitely sounds a lot better than Bethenny and I stopped being friends and this isn’t fun anymore.

“And,” Carole continued. “I am focusing on TV and writing projects that better suit my more steady temperament.”

“I have worked with amazing producers, made great friends, and I’m thrilled to leave frenemies behind,” Carole says.

Carole’s statement concludes: “I will remember this entire experience with delight, humor, and a veracious accuracy.”

Let’s hope that Barbara Kavovit enjoys her stay.

David Eason"s Mom Slams Barbara Evans: He Doesn"t Beat Jenelle! Shut Yer Yap! [Exclusive]

Barbara Evans has been outspoken when it comes to her daughter Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason, who she believes is dangerous.

David’s own mother tells a different story, however, telling Barb off in a lengthy missive shared exclusively with The Hollywood Gossip.

According to Barbara, David is a violent, aggressive, hot-tempered, controlling yahoo – with a penchant for firearms, no less.

Bit of a worrisome combination right there.

On the Teen Mom 2 reunion on Monday, August 13, Jenelle Evans didn’t show up, but Barbara did – and she didn’t hold back.

Babs openly speculated on MTV that Jenelle no-showed the reunion because her husband wouldn’t let her out of his sight.

“I don’t feel Jenelle is OK,” Barbara said.

“I’m just so so so worried.”

Due to David Eason’s aggression and love of guns, Barbara even said, “I’m going to be the first one shot cause I live closest.”

“It scares me,” she said of living in fear of him.

“He could come over and kill me any time.”

Scary stuff … but complete nonsense, according to another figure who claims she knows him – and his family – better than Barbara:

David’s mom, Mary Jo Eason.

Having heard several versions of this same, savage theme from Barb (above), Mary Jo has had just about enough, telling THG:

“I don’t like to comment on all of this because someone will be there to tell me they know more than I do about my own son!”

“My son does not beat Jenelle or boss her around! He doesn’t beat the children!” she adds, before addressing Babs directly:

“Barb you know he doesn’t! Tell the truth and shame the devil! You should be trying to help your daughter and her family.”

“You never say anything nice,” she says, pointedly directed at a woman she believes lies, manipulates and distorts the truth.

“You hated David from the start … you would rather be on that stupid show then [sic] be a loving parent and grandmother!”

(Jenelle has echoed this sentiment recently, accusing her mom of using her for fame and alleging that Barbara is the real child abuser.

The younger Evans also called 911 on Babs last winter, claiming that her mom had harmed or was going to harm son Jace.)

Mary Jo, she says, is “there every week,” while Ensley, David and Jenelle’s young daughter, “doesn’t even know [Barbara].”

“How can you keep right on saying horrible things about my son? They are happy and you can’t stand it! I’m so sick of so many lies!”

“Our children and grandchildren don’t deserve to be pawns in your nasty games!” Mary Jo continues, pleading with Barbara to stop.

“I’ve always been nice to you and your daughter and your grandchildren. How about try to put love and understanding and help in their lives.”

“Family and love for your family is all that matters,” Mary Jo pleads. “Please be honest and stop your vendetta.”

“You are only a year older than me. Don’t you know with each passing day our time in this Earth gets shorter.”

Damn. Now she’s getting deep.

In closing, David’s mother wants Barbara – and everyone else – to think before they repeat what they think is true.

There are usually multiple sides to a story, but she implies that Barb (and the media) only follow one narrative.

“All of you that keep saying things because you just think them should search your heart and soul and stop,” she concludes.

“David is my son and I know him better than all of you that don’t! I’m sure I’ll have to delete this but I have to speak up for my son.”

“He loves his family.”

Well, there you have his side of the story. Do you believe her? Or is David every bit the dangerous person Barbara alleges?

Discuss.

Jenelle Evans: My Son Hates Barbara Evans Just Like I Do!

Jenelle Evans has spent much of the past year proving that there’s really no contest when it comes to the title of Worst Mom in the Teen Mom franchise.

But amazingly, it seems Jenelle doesn’t see it that way at all.

In fact, the Carolina Hurricane is under the impression that she’s not even the worst mom in her own family.

If you’re a long time Teen Mom 2 viewer, then you’re no doubt aware that Evans’ mother, Barbara Evans, has had primary custody of Jenelle’s oldest son, Jace, for pretty much his entire life.

The reasons for this are myriad, but they mostly have to do with the fact that Jenelle is a violent lunatic who’s been arrested more times than Charlie Sheen.

So despite the fact that Babs is a bit lacking in the maternal instincts department herself, family court judges have decided on multiple occasions that Jace is safer with his grandmother than with his mom.

But Jenelle isn’t giving up without a fight.

On last night’s episode of TM2, Jenelle called the police after Jace contacted her and alleged that Barbara had hit him.

It was quickly revealed that Jace lied about being abused, but being the supremely effed-up human being that she is, Jenelle was weirdly proud of her son and counted the situation as a victory against Babs:

“Dude, you’re so mad because he wants to live with me so bad,” Jenelle said in reference to her mother.

It’s a little sad that Jenelle is battling for the approval of 8-year-old, but what makes the situation even worse is that she seems less concerned with Jace’s well-being than with one-upping Babs:

“This is getting me really scared for Jace’s sake,” Jenelle told David Eason during last night’s episode.

“I just don’t want Jace to grow up like I did where it was constant yelling and screaming.

“I think I’m gonna take my mom back to court,” she told Eason.

“I think it’s time.”

While Jenelle remains convinced that Jace is being mistreated by his grandmother, Babs maintains that the real problem is the fact that Jace has inherited his mother’s anger issues:

“Everything was going smooth at home…and then he came home and had another meltdown,” Barbara said last night, referring to an incident in which Jace punched a hole in a wall.

“Instead of working together, she’s tearing him in half,” Barbara said of her relationship with Jenelle.

“That’s all Jace wants, is us to get along. It’s never gonna happen,” she added.

“We’re extremely worried about his future. Over my dead body, I’ll make sure like hell that I will try my best to get him to grow up properly,” Babs concluded.

Needless to say, it doesn’t look as though this situation will be resolved any time soon.

Fans are almost universally of the opinion that Jace is better off with Barbara, but currently, it looks as though both Evans women are more concerned with besting one another than with ensuring the boy is well taken care of.

And as the competition heats up, it becomes more and more clear that the real loser will be poor Jace.

Watch Teen Mom 2 online for more of the Evans family’s most appalling moments.

David Eason Goes OFF on Kailyn Lowry, Barbara Evans In Epic Rant!

Of all the losers, users and abusers who have gained fame from the Teen Mon franchise, it"s possible that none is so repugnant as David Eason.

Eason was fired from Teen Mom 2 back in February after he launched a homophobic tirade against the fans who dared to suggest that he shouldn"t be singing the praises of assault weapons just hours after the world learned of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.

Now, it looks as though his wife, Jenelle Evans, will be following in his footsteps, as she"s likely to be canned after a road rage incident that ended in her threatening to kill the other driver.

But David isn"t concerned about the fact that his wife is clearly out of her gourd – no he"s much to busy taking shots at Jenelle"s mother and co-stars on social media.

See what we mean in the gallery below:

1. Idle Hands

Jenelle evans boyfriend david eason

David has a lot of time on his hands these days. He’s 100% unemployed after being unceremoniously booted by Teen Mom 2 producers following some truly horrendous comments on social media.

2. Keeping Busy

Jenelle evans david eason on instagram

David COULD keep busy by seeking employment or taking a larger role in his children’s lives. But instead, it seems he’s decided to focus his attention on stirring up further drama on social media.

3. No Lesson Learned

Jenelle evans david eason and ensley jolie

You might think that David would mostly steer clear of online trash talk after it cost him his job, but as evidenced by – well, pretty much everything in his life – this is not a man who devotes much thought to his actions.

4. Shots at Kail

Jenelle evans and kailyn lowry

Evans has long had beef with her TM2 co-star Kailyn Lowry, and it seems Kail wound up directly in David’s crosshairs over the weekend.

5. Crass as Ever

Jenelle eason david eason

“So I guess Kailyn Lowry got her keyboard so greasy from cheetos that her finger slipped and said some tough guy sh-t about me and my wife,” David wrote, no doubt thinking he was being very clever.

6. A Low Blow

“Apparently her plastic surgeon filled her head with the same sh!t he filled her ass with #nocommonsense,” he added.

Professor Celebrates Death of "Racist" Barbara Bush

Former First Lady Barbara Bush passed away on Tuesday. She was 92.

A Fresno State professor tweeted out some accusations about the First Lady, and more or less danced on her grave.

The backlash was intense. The personal consequences may be more so.

A lot of people indulge the impulse to express delight when a famous person dies.

Often, they deserve it. But most people agree that Barbara Bush’s death does not need to be celebrated.

Professor Randa Jarrar, however, is not most people.

She tweeted:

“Barbara Bush was a generous and smart and amazing racist who, along with her husband, raised a war criminal. F–k outta here with your nice words.”

She received thousands of replies and even spent a few hours debating people. She has since made her Twitter account private.

Free speech does not mean freedom from consequences, however.

She has since revealed:

“Currently on leave from Fresno State. This is my private account and represents my opinions.”

Fresno State, in the mean time, has put out a statement reading:

“On behalf of Fresno State, I extend my deepest condolences to the Bush family on the loss of our former First Lady, Barbara Bush.”

That’s an appropriate way to start.

“We share the deep concerns expressed by others over the personal comments made today by Professor Randa Jarrar, a professor in the English Department at Fresno State.”

They emphasize something that is very important, however.

“Her statements were made as a private citizen, not as a representative of Fresno State.”

That won’t prevent certain anti-education opportunists from trying to frame her as a typical “university elite” or whatever.

“Professor Jarrar’s expressed personal views and commentary are obviously contrary to the core values of our University, which include respect and empathy for individuals with divergent points of view, and a sincere commitment to mutual understanding and progress.”

It’s difficult to prove that Barbara Bush was or was not a racist, so let’s look at the other “accusation” leveled against her — regarding who one of her sons grew up to be.

Was the US Invasion of Iraq perpetrated under pretenses that were later revealed to be false, deceiving the international community and the American public?

Yes.

Did the Bush Administration commit acts that many consider to be war crimes during that extended conflict and during the global “War on Terror,” including torturing enemy soldiers and also some people who were found to be innocent?

Also yes.

But while he may have had the literacy level of a child, George W. Bush was a grown man. Like, in his fifties. Also, he was the President of the United States.

And while it’s unlikely that he’ll ever be held accountable — unless you believe in Hell — for the atrocities committed during his Presidency, that doesn’t mean that we shift the blame to his mom.

What is important to remember about Barbara Bush is that she was widely considered to be George H. W. Bush’s better half.

For example, she supported the Equal Rights Amendment and was vocally pro-choice, unlike most of the Republican establishment in recent decades.

She avoided commenting on her political views during her husband’s candidacy out of fear that she would alienate his voter base.

But even if she had not been as good as she was, she was never President herself, nor was she a monster.

With that in mind, don’t her grandchildren and great-grandchildren deserve consideration?

Say what you will about actual Presidents, but it seems unethical to express this kind of glee simply because you disliked her husband and son.

Personally, I’m not an advocate for pretending that someone was better than they actually were just because they died.

But I certainly don’t support pretending that they were worse, either.

Celebrate the deaths of bad people if you want to, but don’t target their relatives in your zeal.

Randa Jarrar exercised her right to free speech. But that right does not exempt her from consequences of her words, personally or professionally.

Now … does it make sense for her to be placed on leave for that simple tweet (and the tweetstorm that followed)? It might.

This doesn’t seem like something that should get her fired, however.

She’s not advocating violence or a violent ideology anywhere that we’ve seen.

It seems that she’s just being unkind on her own personal social media.

Barbara Bush Dies; Former First Lady Was 92

Sad news out of the world of politics today, as Barbara Bush – wife of George H.W. Bush and mother of George W. Bush – has passed away at the age of 92.

The office of the elder President Bush confirmed the news in a statment released moments ago:

“A former First Lady of the United States of America and relentless proponent of family literacy, Barbara Pierce Bush passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 92,” the statment reads.

“She is survived by her husband of 73 years, President George H. W. Bush; five children and their spouses, 17 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; and her brother Scott Pierce.

“She was preceded in death by her second child, Pauline “Robin” Bush, and her siblings Martha Rafferty and James R. Pierce.”

The statement also indicated that funeral arrangements will be announced “as soon as is practical.”

Bush’s death comes just days after it was revealed that she will no longer seek medical treatment following her latest round of health issues.

“Following a recent series of hospitalizations, and after consulting her family and doctors, Mrs. Bush, now age 92, has decided not to seek additional medical treatment and will instead focus on comfort care,” read a statement released by one of the former first lady’s representatives.

“It will not surprise those who know her that Barbara Bush has been a rock in the face of her failing health, worrying not for herself — thanks to her abiding faith — but for others.

“She is surrounded by a family she adores, and appreciates the many kind messages and especially the prayers she is receiving.”

Many Americans first became familiar with Barbara Bush during her husband’s tenure as vice president under President Ronald Reagan from 1981 to 1989.

The New York native then served as first lady from 1989 through 1993.

During her husband’s time in the White House, Bush founded the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

Bush’s eldest son, George W. Bush served as president from 2001 to 2009.

Her third child, Jeb Bush, was the 43rd governor of Florida and a candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016.

She is survived by five children, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.

Barbara Walters: On Her Death Bed?!?

According to a new report, the end may be near for one of journalism’s most respected voices.

Barbara Walters may not have a lot of time left.

The long-time reporter and former co-host on The View has not been seen in public for about a year and a half.

The last recorded sighting of Walters took place in July of 2016, after two months after she left The View.

At 88 years old, Walters is allegedly confined to a wheelchair and almost never leaves her apartment in New York City, a friend tells Radar Online.

This isn’t stunning news for someone of her advanced age, but the insider is reportedly distressed because Walters is living such an isolated existence.

“No one is allowed access into her apartment,” this unnamed person tells Radar Online, adding:

“Friends have been trying to see Barbara since the summer, but the doormen keep turning everyone away.”

This same celebrity gossip website has claimed in the past that Walters is suffering from a touch of hearing loss and heart disease; she’s supposedly been showing signs of serious dementia for months.

This is very sad if it’s true.

In 1976, Walters became the first woman to host a national news program, doing so for ABC and earning a then-unprecedented paycheck of $ 1 million annually for her work.

From 1979 to 2004, she worked as co-host and a producer for the ABC news magazine 20/20.

She still serves as an executive producer on The View.

But Walters no longer goes into work, which is understandable for an 88-year old.

The problem here is that she doesn’t appear to be enjoying a well-earned retirement at all.

“Barbara broke her hip a few months ago, and she’s in a wheelchair now 24/7,” writes Radar, quoting its source on the story.

“She sits propped up in it in her library overlooking Central Park all day. She stares at the same page of a newspaper for hours.”

Continues the source:

“All she does is go from the bed to her wheelchair and back again.

“She hasn’t seen her beloved hairdresser or makeup artist, Lori, in over a year. Her house staff washes her hair and pulls it back in a ponytail.”

Someone close to the situation thinks Walters has Alzheimer’s Disease, Radar reports.

What does bring her joy on a daily basis?

Tuning in to watch her friends and former colleagues on The View, according to the website.

It’s unclear for how much longer she’ll be able to do this, however.

“Friends just want to say goodbye,” this source eerily says. “They simply want to see that she’s well taken care of.”
