Ellen Pompeo Says Goodbye to Departing Grey"s Anatomy Stars
Grey’s Anatomy did not come to an end last night.
It was a different Shonda Rhimes-produced series, Scandal, that aired its final episode.
However, the careers of two veteran Grey’s Anatomy actresses did actually come to a conclusion with the latest Season 14 installment, as both Jessica Capshaw and Sarah Drew wrapped up their impressive runs on the beloved show.
It had been announced in early March that the stars would not return next year.
ABC cited creative reasons as the basis for letting the cast members go.
At the time, Pompeo expressed her surprise and sadness over the development, while also fighting back against talk that her new contract was somehow to blame for the decision.
On Thursday evening, however, after Capshaw and Drew were written out of the show, Pompeo once again took to Twitter in order to pay them tribute.
“Boom… @thank you @jessicacapshaw for bringing it the way you have brought it for 10 amazing years… what a blessing you are and what a contribution you made to television history,” Pompeo wrote about Capshaw.
The actress portrayed Dr. Arizona Robbins for 10 seasons on Grey’s Anatomy.
Concluded Pompeo in this sweet message:
“Lit that screen up with your glow on the LGBT community… making a difference and making it all look so easy… GOAT #representationmatters #loveyou.”
(Arizona was a lesbian, it’s likely worth noting.)
As for Drew, who played Dr. April Kepner for nine seasons, Pompeo thanked her for being “sugar and spice” on the long-running ABC drama.
Along with heart emojis, fire emojis and star emojis, Pompeo penned the following about Drew:
THANK YOU to this lady….@thesarahdrew you served up the sugar and spice for 9 years and it’s been a blast.
Your passion and talent for storytelling has touched so many people provoked thought and Greys is a better show because of it and you. #japrilfansdontplay
Upon learning they were being let go from Grey’s Anatomy, both Capshaw and Drew responded with classy statements.
First, this is how Drew reacted publicly:
Thank you for all of the love. I know you’re sad. I’m sad too. I haven’t really had the time to process this information.
I’ve been with it for less than 48 hours, so I’m not ready to say my thank yous and give an all encompassing statement about my 9 years here. That will come later.
For now, I’d like to say: I love you, and I love April, and her story isn’t over yet.
And the really good news (for me, at least) is that I’m here on set shadowing one of my favorite people, Kevin McKidd, with my beloved Grey’s family all this week and next, so I get to process all of my feelings surrounded by the community that has nourished and nurtured me for almost a decade.
For that, I am grateful.
And then Capshaw:
For the past ten years I have had the rare privilege of not only playing Arizona Robbins but also being madly in love with playing her.
Arizona Robbins is kind, intelligent, funny, insightful, bold, playful, fierce and really good at her job.
She was one of the first members of the LGBTQ community to be represented in a seres regular role on network television. Her impact on the world is permanent and forever. Forever.
I am grateful that I have gotten to bring her to life and for the life that she has brought to me.
I am sad to see her go but I am consoled by the idea that she will continue to live on and on in all of our consciences and our imaginations. Shonda, thank you for the ride on this incredible rollercoaster.

Teen Mom Cast to Farrah Abraham: Goodbye And...
You know how this headlines ends, right?
Was it even worth the tease?
In the wake of Farrah Abraham claiming she’s been booted from Teen Mom due to her foray into the online porn universe, a new report claims Farrah’s now-former cast members aren’t just saying goodbye…
… they are saying GOOD RIDDANCE!
On Monday, Abraham went on a social media rant in which she claimed MTV had basically fired her from the franchise that made her famous due to her many “side projects.”
Most of these projects, of course, were adult in nature.
Farrah works with a streaming site called Cam Soda that, quite simply, has often featured her masturbating on video.
She also received laser treatment on her vagina at one point and had the experienced documented by this same service.
But so what, Abraham essentially claims? Is she not free to express herself and/or to make money in various ways that don’t impact her Teen Mom responsibilities?
“Viacom let me go because as a Business Mogul I act like an adult and part take in adult promotions and activities that other adults do for FREE or in private!” Abraham explained on Instagram.
(Editor’s note: LOL at the use of “part take.”)
Farrah went on to say that MTV has been exploiting her and her daughter for years, adding that the whole thing is really just unfortunate.
Because fans love her so very much.
“Sad such a phenomenal show will no longer have its biggest talent on the show because of women hating, sex shaming, hate crimes, selfish, Weinstein company power trip behaviors against a professional hard working, honest mother.”
But did Abraham really get let go because of her self-pleasuring, viral exploits?
Or because her fellow Teen Moms sort of despise her?
The latter may have played at least some role, based on what Kailyn Lowery told Hollywood Life of Farrah’s dismissal.
“It’s about time,” she said simply.
Previously, in response to a fan criticizing her behavior on Teen Mom 2, Kailyn shot back with an obvious diss of Abraham, writing:
“We all have bad times…but I def never did porn so there’s no comparison.”
A source close to Amber Portwood, meanwhile, echoes this sentiment,.
This insider tells Radar Online that most other Teen Moms are “relieved” Farrah is a goner, expounding as follosw:
“No one in the cast will miss Farrah. It’s way too sexual. They let the first porno go because it seemed she changed and now it’s just in your face.
“The webcam is unacceptable.”
And hot?
Nope, not really. Just unacceptable.
If you’ll recall, when Abraham was brought back to Teen Mom OG in the middle of last season, Maci Bookout refused to film because of her sex tape Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
Moreover, Farrah once referred to Catelynn Lowell as “white trash” during one of their numerous feuds on the series.
“Catelynn is especially relieved,” a source close to Lowell tells Radar.
“She had to deal with Farrah the most because all the girls had to do promo together for certain things. They’re all looking forward to less drama.”
What will Abraham do next?
More porn, we assume.
But she’s leaving the program with her head held high and her boobs frequently on full display.
“I will never be broken by hateful wrong people and if everyone else is brain washed, on drugs, pills, scheming thinking their at the top of their power trips I WISH to always be apart,” she wrote this week, concluding:
“I give this chapter of my life to GOD & all of his glory & to justice in court.
“If God’s for you who dare be against you.”

Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder Will Soon Say Goodbye to the World
Enjoy the gorgeous faces and sweet musings of Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed while you can, readers.
Because, at some point in the near future, you won’t be hearing from these stars for awhile.
Featured on the cover of the latest Fit Pregnancy, Reed gushes over her first pregnancy, explaining to the magazine how she’s different when she’s expecting than when her womb is empty, prior to talking about her and Somerhalder’s plan for when their baby arrives.
In short, it doesn’t involve you. Or us. Or anyone at all.
Reed says the couple will enter a “month of silence” as soon they become parents.
“Just the three of us, no visitors, and we’re turning off our phones too, so there’s no expectation for us to communicate,” the former Twilight Saga beauty outlined, expounding on her reasoning as follows:
“Otherwise, every five minutes it would be, ‘How are you feeling? Can we have a picture?’ You don’t get those first 30 days back, and we want to be fully present.”
This is a pretty fantastic idea, in our opinion.
And we’d expect nothing less from Reed and Somerhalder, who announced they were expecting in May and who always taken an especially profound view on life.
Just consider the way Somerhalder confirmed to the world that he was going to be a father.
“In my 38 years on this earth I’ve never experienced anything more powerful and beautiful than this,” he wrote on Instagram this spring, adding:
“I can’t think of anything more exciting than this next chapter and we wanted you to hear this from us first.”
Also consider the way Somerhalder wished Reed a happy birthday:
Happy Birthday to the most amazing human I know… Today, we celebrate you.
For an innumerable amount of reasons I couldn’t even begin to describe, as all of those who know you and those who even don’t know you, would agree.
Reed has said equally kind things about her soulmate, noting in this interview how Somerhalder adores his wife in her pregnant state.
“Ian jokes that he wants to keep me pregnant forever,” she tells the publication.
“I’m a very driven person with lots of energy. I can run multiple companies, read four books at once, and take a conference call while cooking dinner.
“But pregnant, I’m a better version of myself. I’m really chill and relaxed, which I think is the greatest blessing.”
We don’t know when baby Reed/Somerhalder is due. Nor do we know if it will be a boy or a girl.
We do know, however, that he or she will be born into a household full of unconditional love.’
“Being pregnant gave me instant perspective,” Reed told concludes.
“It’s the first time in my life I’ve passed on anything that isn’t exactly what I want to be doing. Pregnancy is the moment you find your path and do what you want, when you want, how you want.
I’m building and launching a company that’s been a dream of mine. I honestly feel better than ever…
“I want to write my pregnant body love letters, it’s so f-cking cool!”

Kylie Jenner to Tyga: Goodbye... FOREVER!
Kylie Jenner has erased Tyga from her life.
In a figurative sense. In a romantic sense. And now, in a literal sense.
A few months ago, during her hot heyday with the rapper, Kylie got a lower case “t” tattooed on her right ankle.
She didn’t say very much about the etching at the time, but the meaning was undeniable:
The reality star and the rapper were involved in a very serious relationship and Kylie wanted to make it clear that she was Tyga’s girl forever and ever.
It was a somewhat sweet and seemingly permanent gesture.
But life has come at Kylie pretty fast.
Several weeks after her split from the unsuccessful artist, Jenner has transformed this “t” tattoo into a script “la” tattoo.
We assume the edited mark is a shout-out to the city of Los Angeles and not the state of Louisiana – but mostly we assume it was one of the few easy options Jenner had for turning her little “t” into something legible.
Kylie and Tyga broke up in April.
Not everyone believed the split would last, however.
“They tend to take little breaks all the time and then get back together,” one insider said to People Magazine. “It’s definitely possible they’ll work things out again.”
We guess it remains possible.
Yet it seems awfully unlikely, as evidenced by Jenner’s latest gesture.
In early June, Tyga released what sounded like a Kylie Jenner diss track, rapping that his ex-girlfriend had “it bad” for him and implying that Jenner was annoying obsessed with their relationship.
He’s also hinted rather strongly that he’s better off without Kylie, likely adding fuel to her let’s-delete-this-stupid-tattoo-and-be-free-of-all-Tyga-reminders-in-my-life fire.
The couple had been together for about three (occasionally contentious) years at the time of their break-up.
We haven’t heard any rumblings of Tyga dating anyone new since ending things with Jenner, but Kylie has publicly moved on with another random musician: Travis Scott.
However, there’s been chatter that Scott has cheated on Kylie MANY times, leaving her heartbroken and very upset.
Upset enough to go crawling back to Tyga?
We don’t think so, not at this point, not after the changing of her tattoo.
That’s as big of an EFF YOU as one can really deliver to an ex-lover… although getting the tattoo in the first place would seem to be as strong of an I LOVE YOU as one can utter to this same ex-lover.
So you never really know, we guess.
Would anyone truly be shocked if these two got back together?

The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 17 Recap: Aloha & Goodbye
Did Kenya Moore and Phaedra Parks manage to stay friends?
That was one of the more pressing questions on The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 9 Episode 17.
When the episode got underway, the two women played tennis and acted like all was right between them. It was a nice change from their persistent bickering.
At one point, they compared themselves to the Williams sisters. We’re not even kidding.
We then switched gears to Cynthia Bailey treating her soon-to-be-ex-husband with some room service. Apparently, he took a fall while in Maui and hurt himself real bad.
Peter was quick to point out that it felt odd being in the same hotel, but different rooms. After that little nugget, Cynthia confirmed to the camera that she had no qualms about giving Peter sex to make him feel better.
But she decided to go with giving him a Bible.
Peter then decided to find out whether his former flame was seeing anyone at the moment. She confirmed that she was not, but had every intention of finding someone else.
Peter seemed upset, but Cynthia revealed that she thought she was the one who failed the marriage.
Later that night, everybody roasted Peter for his birthday and not in the way he would probably have liked to. Everyone seemed to enjoy it, but you could tell there was still animosity between Sheree and Bob.
Somehow, Cynthia could not say anything bad about her former flame. She still cared about him very much.
On a boat ride, Bob tried to make thing right with Sheree.
“I wanted to apologize,” he said.
“You don’t even see anything wrong with you leaving and not calling the house for six months,” Sheree replied.
“And then when you talked about you saw me without my seatbelt, and you wanted to slam on the brakes and eject me from the car. To put harm on me, or death. It’s abuse. It’s mental abuse and then for you to make a joke of it — it’s just been like that the entire time.”
Sheree even went as far as saying that his claims about being a changed man were false and then Bob went on the offensive.
“You want me to bleed myself right here? To slit my f–king wrists so you know I’m serious?”
Sheree said she just wanted him to agree that what he did was wrong, before telling the cameras the relationship was over.
“As far as he and I, it’s over, I feel like I’m finally getting closure on that part of my life.”
Later, Kenya thought it would be a good idea to celebrate Cynthia and Phaedra getting divorces and threw a party. As you can probably expect, both women were not impressed.
Phaedra made a swift getaway, and Porsha read a text that Phaedra had sent to her after it.
“I’m good, but I’m appalled that they would think that the breakup of a family is the cause for celebration and with the host being the trifling woman who was texting my husband — disgusting and disgraceful,” Porsha read.
Porsha then made her way to Phaedra’s hotel room to check everything was okay.
“I told you not to get close to that heifer,” Porsha said of Kenya, but Kenya appeared at the door before Porsha could process what was said.
For what it’s worth, Kenya seemed confused by the way things had went.
“You’ve said so many times that you are in the best place that you have ever been,” Kenya said, but Phaedra said Kenya was ‘trifling.”
“Do you blame me for your marriage breaking up?” Kenya asked. Phaedra replied that she did not, but she also said she was not fond of the way she was flirting with her husband.
“It’s just a whole other level of skanky,” Phaedra said to the camera.
The two women parted ways, and their friendship was torn apart.
Will they ever fix things?

Rob Kardashian Tearfully Says Goodbye to Daughter Dream on Instagram
It’s been almost three months since Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna welcomed their daughter Dream into the world, and it seems that Rob has been doing everything in his power to reassure fans who were concerned that he’s not up to the task of raising a child.
Obviously, the most important thing he’s been doing is simply being there for his little girl as much as possible, despite the fact that he and Blac have broken up and are living in separate homes.
But while his baby girl is clearly his top priority, Rob has been taking the time to demonstrate to his social media followers that despite some appearances to the contrary, Dream is growing up in a stable, loving environment:
Rob posted the above photo on Instagram last night, along with the following caption:
“Saying bye to my beautiful baby girl … she is smiling at me. U see how she looking at her daddy. I literally can’t get enough of this girl.”
“I never felt a love or happiness like this ever in my life and she makes me so happy ,,,about to miss her so much. Love You baby Dream.”
While it’s certainly not a perfect situation – and Rob is obviously struggling with the shared custody arrangement – it’s nice to see the 29-year-old so committed to the task of ensuring his daughter’s happiness.
After all, it wasn’t all that long ago that Rob was completely adrift, and his family understandably feared for his life.
The younger brother of Kourtney, Kim, and Khloe was unemployed, drinking and drugging heavily, and compulsively overeating.
A number of factors helped snap Rob out of his destructive downward spiral, seemingly just in time.
Rob was diagnosed with diabetes; his family begged him to change his ways; and, perhaps most importantly, he started dating Blac Chyna.
Rob and Blac moved fast.
They were pregnant and expecting a child within months of when they first hooked up.
There were doubts about Rob’s ability to be raise a child, but thus far, those closest to the reality star say that he’s exceeded their highest expectations.
While the situation with Blac may not have worked out the way he had planned, it seems that tumultuous relationship was a painful but necessary step forward for Rob.
These days, he’s reportedly committed with his whole heart to the task of being the best father he can be.
While he’s obviously doing everything in his power to provide the best possible for Dream, it seems she may have already done more for Rob than he could ever do for her.
Rob may never attain the levels of wealth and fame enjoyed by his sisters, but it’s looking more and more like he might the Kardashian family’s greatest success story.
