NeNe Leakes Reveals Husband"s Cancer Diagnosis
NeNe Leakes has opened up about the most personal and troubling of news:
Her husband has been diagnosed with cancer.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram on Wednesday evening to share a photo of her and Gregg at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
She went ahead and then revealed this sad news via one simple photo and one simple caption:
The former features Gregg sitting next to a computer, which shows the word “cancer” crossed out on the monitor.
The latter reads as follows:
Our New Normal and the fight begins #f-ckcancer#mdandersoncancercenter #yougotthis #iloveyou.

We don’t have any further information at the moment regarding Gregg’s type of cancer or his pronosis.
Multiple outlets have written that they’ve reached out to Leakes for comment and have not heard anything back just yet.
Three weeks ago, however, the veteran reality star canceled a series of her appearances, announcing that Gregg had been under doctor’s supervision for over two weeks.
“Today marks the 15th day straight that Gregg has been in the hospital,” NeNe said in an Instagram video message to her fans on May 21, adding:
“I find it very difficult to stand on stage and laugh and have a good time and give you guys your money’s worth knowing that my husband’s in the hospital not feeling well.”
Our guess is that Leakes wasn’t aware at this time just what the problem was with her husband.
“He has said to me over and over again, ‘Go on, go out there, have a good time, do the show, I’m going to be fine,"” continued Leakes last month.
“But I find it mentally very hard for me to do that.”
NeNe and Gregg have been married since 1997.
As loyal Real Housewives fans know, however, the duo briefly divorced in 2011, only to remarry two years later (as seen on NeNe’s spin-off series, I Dream of NeNe: The Wedding).
Over the past several weeks, we’ve mostly written about NeNe due to her never-ending feud with Kim Zolciak.
The former friends have gone back and forth on social media forever, it seems ratcheting up their rivalry with accusations of racism and roach-infestations.
At this point, however, we’d have to imagine that the insults will stop for at least a little bit.
There are clearly more important things to focus on here.
Even Zolciak would probably send along best wishes to Leakes and her loved ones after learning this unfortunate piece of information.
We’ll update this story with messages of support from other members of the Real Housewives franchise once they come pouring in.

Camille Cosby Blames Husband"s Guilty Verdict on "Mob Justice," Racism
Camille Cosby is standing by her man.
No matter how many women he almost definitely raped.
One of those women is named Andrea Constand, and Bill Cosby was found guilty on three counts of aggravated sexual assault against her late last month.
He faces a decade in prison as a result of the verdict.
The outcome came about 10 months after Cosby’s original trial ended with a deadlocked jury, amid numerous other allegations of sexual assault against Cosby.
Overall, approximately 60 women have accused the comedian of drugging them and taking advantage of them.
But Camille Cosby isn’t having it.
She has released a stunning, lengthy statement that defends her husband and blames a combination of racism and media biased for his guilty verdict.
“‘We the people’ are the first three words of our nation’s Constitution, but who were those people in 1787?” began Cosby in her three-page statement, which was released Thursday morning by spokesman Andrew Wyatt.
To what is Camille referring here?
The color of the skin of our Founding Fathers and how African-Americans have essentially not been giving a fair deal ever since this nation was founded.
Continues the 74-year old:
“Now enters an American citizen, Bill Cosby.
“The overall media, with their frenzied, relentless demonization of him and unquestioning acceptance of accusers’ allegations without any attendant proof, have superseded the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments, which guarantee due process and equal protection, and thereby eliminated the possibility of a fair trial and unbiased jury.”
Yeah.
Wow, huh? There’s a lot to take in there.
“Once again, an innocent person has been found guilty based on an unthinking, unquestioning, unconstitutional frenzy propagated by the media and allowed to play out in a supposed court of law,” she also says.
“Bill Cosby was labelled as guilty because the media and accusers said so… period. And the media ensured the dissemination of that propaganda by establishing barricades preventing the dissemination of the truth in violation of the protections of the First Amendment.
“Are the media now the people’s judges and juries?”
No, of course.
In this case, an actual judge and actual jury decided Bill Cosby’s fate.
Camille is arguing, however, that their decision-making was influenced by the many articles written over the past several months regarding accusations against her husband.
And she doesn’t believe any of the alleged victims.
“Since when are all accusers truthful?” Camille asks, referencing Constand and adding:
“I firmly believe her recent testimony during trial was perjured; as was shown at trial, it was unsupported by any evidence and riddled with innumerable, dishonest contradictions.”
In her statement, Camille likened her husband to martyred Emmett Till and other black men falsely accused of rape by white women:
“These are just two of many tragic instances of our justice system utterly and routinely failing to protect African Americans falsely accused in so-called courts of law and the entirely unfair court of public opinion.”
She wants to see a “criminal investigation” opened into the actions of the “district attorney and his cohorts,” who she labels as exploitive and corrupt.
“Someday the truth will prevail,” concluded Camille. “It always does.”
Constand’s lawyer, Dolores Troiani, issued a brief response Thursday morning.
She said the truth has already prevailed and, smartly, left it at that:
“Twelve honorable people – a jury of Cosby’s peers – have spoken. There is nothing more that needs to be said.”
Bill Cosby has said nothing publicly since he was convicted on April 26.
He will be sentenced at some point in the next two to three months.

Chelsea Handler BASHES Jennifer Aniston: Stop Driving Your Husbands Away!
Not all that long ago Jennifer Aniston and Chelsea Handler were the best of friends.
The relationship was irreparably damaged, however, when Aniston learned that Handler was sharing secrets about her personal life, and the former besties reportedly haven’t spoken since.
As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Aniston has separated from Justin Theroux after two and a half years of marriage.
While most of the world is eagerly awaiting the announcement that Jennifer is back together with Brad Pitt, Chelsea is apparently fixated on figuring out just what caused Aniston’s split from Theroux.
Apparently, Handler is of the opinion that Jen and Justin were all wrong for each other from the start.
She’s convinced that her former friend made a damaging decision when she decided to change herself in order to conform to Justin’s vision of the ideal woman.
Now that the marriage has come to an end, Handler is apparently getting her gloat on a big way:
“Chelsea didn’t think much of Justin, but she said from the get-go that Jen would need to readjust her expectations and treatment of him if they were to stand a chance,” a source close to the situation tells Radar Online.
“But Chelsea’s feeling pretty smug and ‘I told you so’ about it now, to the point where she feels she’s owed an apology.”
This is a far cry from Chelsea’s attitude after Jen split with Pitt.
At the time, the sharp-tongued comic repeatedly tore into Angelina Jolie, alleging that she “stole” Pitt away from Aniston.
(That stance doesn’t really jibe with Handler’s feminist persona, but that’s a discussion for another time,)
In the years, since she and Jen’s falling out, Handler has had a change of heart on that issue, declaring that she now believed the dissolution of Jen’s first marriage was also Aniston’s fault.
(Surely Brad is at least partially to blame for ditching his wife, right Chelsea? Sorry, we digress.)
Anyway, it sounds like Chelsea is one of those people who goes full scorched earth when she stops being friends with someone, and she’s taking thorough advantage of Jen’s vulnerable state.
That’s a disturbing mindset in, say, a queen bee-type sorority girl.
It’s downright terrifying in a 43-year-old millionaire.

Vicky Cornell Speaks on Husband"s Suicide: "I Lost My Soulmate"
As we near the one-year anniversary of Chris Cornell"s suicide, the widow of this late musician has spoken out on camera for the first time since this tragedy took place.
In a sit-down with Robin Roberts for Good Morning America, Vicky Cornell opens up about the Soundgarden singer as a husband and a father, while also touching on his drug addiction.
"I know that people say, you know, you can"t blame yourself. And I"m trying not to, but there were signs," Vicky says through tears in the video below.
In the past, Vicky said her husband was not noticeably depressed at the time he took his own life.
But that doesn"t mean she isn"t aware that drug addiction is an illness with no permanent cure.
"People think that addiction is like, "Oh, you were an addict," and people don"t recognize it as a disease," Vicky explains to GMA, adding:
"I was, I feel, guilty of the same thing. You think addiction is a choice, and it"s not."
The late rock star and Vicky got married in 2004.
They share two kids (13-year-old daughter Toni and 12-year-old son Christopher), while Cornell also has a 17-year-old daughter, Lillian, from his previous marriage to Susan Silver.
Cornell was always candid about his substance abuse issues.
But Vicky wants to make it known that this doesn"t mean the artist wasn"t always there for his loved ones.
"My husband was the furthest thing from a rock star junkie. He just wasn"t," she says here.
"He was the best husband, the greatest father. I lost my soul mate and the love of my life."
According to a statement Vicky released to Entertainment Tonight following Cornell"s passing, her husband called her the evening he died and told her he "may have taken an extra Ativan or two."
Cornell had a prescription at the time for this anxiety medication.
He was staying last May at the MGM Grand in Detroit, which is where his body was eventually discovered.
And Vicky is convinced the drug in Chris" system played a key role in his suicide.
"He wanted to be there for his family, for his children. He loved his life. He would never have ever left this world," Vicky told Roberts, adding:
"I don"t think that he could make any decisions because of the level of impairment."

Tamar Braxton: My Husband"s Baby Won"t Ruin My 2018!
Tamar Braxton has had a… how should we put this? …. interesting week.
To say the very, very, very least.
The singer, who announced in late October that her marriage to Vince Herbert is over, was forced to respond this week to a pair of incidents involving her estranged ex-lover.
First, as reported by TMZ, Herbert was taken into police custody on Christmas Day and charged with spousal abuse.
After spending some time in jail, Herbert was released on $ 20,000 bail.
With many folks around the Internet assuming her soon-to-be-ex assaulted her in some way, Braxton cited a restraining order she has against Herbert and told TMZ the following:
“Co-parenting while going through a divorce is not an easy task.
“While celebrating the Christmas holiday as a family, after a few drinks and some jealousy, things got a bit out of hand, which is common for most families during the holidays.
“In the midst of everything our family is going through things got heated and a bit exaggerated.”
What may have prompted this argument between the former spouses?
The accusation by another woman that Herbert got her pregnant!
“There was no physical interaction between Vince and I on Christmas,” Braxton makes clear in her statement to TMZ, adding:
“While I do not appreciate his lack of respect for our family and him allegedly impregnating another woman, I cannot paint him as a vicious abuser that Vince is not.”
Indeed, Braxton went off on a pretty awesome Instagram rant against this other woman and Herbert just a few days ago, as you can see above.
She’s refusing to her the unprotected sex she had with Vince ruin her day, week or future forecast.
“Smh happy new year folks!! Ladies and gentlemen know that 2018 is a FRESH start and if i can leave this liar u can leave yours too,” Braxton wrote to her followers.
Braxton and Herbert were married for nine years.
They share a four-year old son named Logan.
You may recognize the stars from their VH1 reality show, Tamar and Vince; and/or Braxton from her stint as a co-host on The Real.
Insiders previously said that she fell into some kind of depression after she was fired from that talk show, which contributed to the demise of her marriage.
It maybe didn’t help that Herbert was sleeping around, although we can’t say for certain just when he allegedly knocked this other woman up.
“I’m deeply hurt and saddened that this will be how we remember Christmas 2017,” Braxton concluded to TMZ.
“But, my motto is and maintains to be ‘Bluebird of Happiness’ and nobody will stop my joy and blessings going into the New Year! God Bless!”

Jenelle Evans on Husband"s Abuse Allegations: He Probably Didn"t Do It, Dude!
Let"s be real, Jenelle Evans has never been the brightest crayon in the box.
Remember when she actually, honest to goodness believed that her lawyer could get her out of jail time because she had a Kesha concert to attend?
Like, yes, that was the reason she got all those feathers in her hair, and Kesha was her idol, but … really, girl?
That was several years ago, and you"d think that she"d have taken the opportunity to grow up at least a little since then.
But it simply has not happened.
Let"s take a good, hard look at Jenelle"s latest scandal, and her response to it.
Just for fun, but also to come to terms with the fact that there is literally no hope left for humanity …
1. David Eason = Bad News
OK, so Jenelle has been with David Eason for a couple of years now, right? And it’s important to remember that Jenelle has never, ever dated a good guy. Probably because good guys aren’t so interested in girls with over a dozen mug shots who have also done heroin on national television.
2. David’s Crimes
Before getting with Jenelle, David was accused of assaulting his heavily pregnant girlfriend, and also of strangling her shortly after she gave birth to their child. He’s also been charged with crimes like breaking and entering and larceny.
3. Red Flags
In fact, until just a few weeks ago, David was considered such an awful person that he wasn’t allowed to see his own son. His ex filed an order of protection that made it illegal for him to contact the kid, and he almost went to jail for violating the order when he saw his son in a grocery store and approached him for a hug.
4. … More Red Flags
As if all that wasn’t bad enough, Teen Mom 2 fans quickly developed a hatred for David after he was shown being overly aggressive and mean with Jenelle’s two sons. We saw him get angry at Kaiser, who was barely a toddler at the time, for not behaving, and we also saw him call Kaiser a “screaming little bitch.”
5. Just Red Flags as Far as the Eye Can See
Things are so bad between David and Jenelle’s sons that we’ve heard that Jace has told his therapist that he’s afraid of David. He even told Jenelle several times that he didn’t want her to marry him.
6. Poor Babs 🙁
Another awful thing about David is the way he tries to alienate Jenelle from her mother, Barbara. He’s insisted that she call her by her name instead of calling her “mom,” and Barbara has said that he’s the worst guy Jenelle’s ever dated. Which is saying a lot.

Crystal Hefner Breaks Silence, Addresses Husband’s Death
In the wake of Hugh Hefner’s death, nearly everyone that was close to the Playboy founder issued some kind of sorrowful statement.
Nearly everyone except the woman married to him, that is.
But Crystal Hefner has now broken her silence, two days after her famous husband was laid to rest in an intimate funeral attended by close friends and loved ones.
“I haven’t been able to bring myself to write most people back to thank them for their condolences,” Crystal told E! News in a statement, adding simply and sadly:
“I am heartbroken. I am still in disbelief.”
Hefner passed away at the age of 91 last Wednesday.
There had been rumors for several months that the publishing legend was ill, as he had not made any public appearances or posed for any pictures in quite awhile.
Hefner was buried over the weekend alongside Marilyn Monroe, an honor for which he paid $ 75,000 back in 1992.
“He is in the place he was always certain he wanted to spend eternity,” says Crystal.
Only 31 years old, Crystal has always been aware that critics believed she married Hefner purely for his money and lifestyle.
But she didn’t even bother to address those allegations in her chat with E! News. She stopped trying to convince those haters a long time ago.
“He was an American hero. A pioneer. A kind and humble soul who opened up his life and home to the world,” she says, continuing as follows:
“I felt how much he loved me. I loved him so much. I am so grateful. He gave me life.
“He gave me direction. He taught me kindness. I will feel eternally grateful to have been by his side, holding his hand, and telling him how much I love him.”
Concludes the widow:
“He changed my life, he saved my life. He made me feel loved every single day. He was a beacon to the world, a force unlike anything else.
“There never has and never will be another Hugh M. Hefner.”
On that, everyone can likely agree.
Those who attended Hefner’s funeral included Natalie Wood, Florence Henderson, Truman Capote, Eve Arden, Don Knotts, Walter Matthau, Carroll O’Connor and Roy Oribison.
The publisher’s four kids were there, too, of course.
“I join the world in mourning,” Crystal tells E! News. “I thank you for all of your condolences. To the people leaving sentiments at the front gate, we see you and grieve with you.”
Hef’s last will and testament have yet not been made public.
However, according to reports, his fortune, worth between $ 43 million and $ 110 million, is expected to go to his family and charities.
There’s been talk that he left nothing for his wife.

Jessica Simpson Celebrates Husband"s Birthday with Butt Pic!
Eric Johnson is a very lucky man.
It’s his birthday, but he has a lot more to celebrate than turning 38. For example, his wife is one of the most gorgeous women on the planet.
And Jessica Simpson honored her husband on his birthday by flashing her butt for the world to see. Marriage goals, right?
You know, our first thought when we saw the picture below was:
“These buns are made for walking.”
That’s not a song that’s original to Jessica Simpson, but to those of us born after 1980, she was our introduction to “These Boots Are Made For Walking.”
(Specifically, her Pizza Hut “these bites are made for poppin"” commercial where she feeds a pizza bite to a boy who’s, like, 14, which is one of the cringiest things that we’ve ever seen on a commercial … which is saying a lot)
Anyway, Jessica Simpson is drop-dead gorgeous.
She’s married to Eric Johnson, whom we mostly know as “Jessica Simpson’s husband,” but he’s also some sort of sportsball player (the one with the ball shaped like Hey Arnold‘s head).
They’re all around a cute couple and we love stories about them and their kids.
But this photo is … considerably less family-oriented.
That’s quite a birthday outfit, if still a far cry from a “birthday suit.”
Also, Eric Johnson is holding two mugs of two different-looking beers.
(We refuse to say that he’s “double-fisting” the beers, especially in this context, but also in any context … please don’t make us explain why)
Maybe he’s holding Jessica Simpson’s drink for the photo, maybe he’s just living his best life because it’s his birthday.
Commenters felt a range of emotions in response.
“Girl, there’s a time and place for everything but… ‘Oh no Baby what is you doing?!’”
We love the Oh no baby what is you doing meme, but this really isn’t the place for it. Let her live her life.
“Highly inappropriate. Should be behind closed doors.”
It’s literally just her butt. Her head is clearly turned to the side and other people are present.

This is not even the first time this year that Jessica Simpson has celebrated a birthday in a way that included her butt.
Jessica Simpson flashed her 37-year-old butt on Instagram back in July.
Oh, and she was topless.
Don’t you feel grateful to live in the age of social media?
Remember, unlike genitals and the “dreaded” lady-nipples that can apparently scar minds or something, butts are totally allowed on Instagram.
There are even Instagram accounts dedicated entirely to butts.
Or … so we hear.
Jessica Simpson doesn’t always make sense, but she doesn’t have to.
She’s gorgeous and she’s happy, and that’s what matters.
Also, remember the craze where everyone was either sampling or covering “You Spin Me Right ‘Round” about a decade ago?
(It was the result of a viral video called “Meatspin;” do not look it up)
Jessica Simpson had the best of them and she even rewrote a lot of the lyrics.
Point is, she’s a treasure, and we look forward to her celebrations of even more birthdays in the future.

Cameron Diaz Turns 45: Read Her Husband"s Cute Birthday Message!
Cameron Diaz is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, so it comes as no surprise that she’s off the market and has been for a few years now.
The actress is married to Good Charlotte Rocker Benji Madden, and they appear to be happy with one another.
Their relationship could be summed up as whirlwind when you consider the fact that they knew each other for seven months before getting engaged.
In fact, it was none other than Nicole Richie who introduced them to each other. What a small world we live in.
Their engagement spanned just seventeen days before they got married in a beautiful ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills in 2015.
It’s crazy how quickly the milestones can come when you find someone who feels the same way about you.
With Diaz turning 45 yesterday, Madden took to his Instagram account to share a picture of them on a boat trip and to reveal his undying love for the Charlies Angels beauty.
Oh yes, we will always remember Cameron from that movie. Maybe not the sequel, that one is still mentally blocked from our minds.

Paola Mayfield: My Husband"s Going to Kill Me!
Paola Mayfield has lashed out at critics pretty fearlessly, but when it comes to worries that she’s going to disappoint Russ, she’s a nervous (gorgeous) wreck.
Because she’s in lingerie for a modeling job, and even though she’s going through with it because she’s a professional, she knows that her conservative husband doesn’t like it when she shows skin outside of the bedroom.
This 90 Day Fiance couple may be in some serious trouble. …
Paola and Russ Mayfield are somewhere in the middle, as far as 90 Day Fiance couples and the quality of their relationships are concerned.
They’re doing way better than the now split Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali.
And also way better than the definitely-should-split Jorge Nava and Anfisa Arkhipchenko.
But they’re not as close and cuddly as the picture-perfect, totally amicable Alan Cox and Kirlyam, who are expecting a child soon.
As we’ve mentioned, the primary source of conflict between Paola and Russ isn’t cheating or money; it’s Paola’s job.
Paola is a fitness model and now a certified personal trainer.
Russ isn’t very comfortable with how she dresses … or how little she dresses … for work.
(Even though he married a model and you’d think that he’d have understood that from day one)
The issue this time is that Russ has been insistent very recently on 90 Day Fiance that Paola shouldn’t wear lingerie outside of the bedroom.
We’ll get into that in a moment.
On an upcoming episode of 90 Day Fiance, Paola has booked a gig where she’s a model in a music video.
But Paola is going against Russ’ wishes.
Because she’s wearing lingerie.
She looks incredible, of course.
(So great that in a couple of shots, they decided to blur out her body)
But she’s a nervous wreck because, while Russ wants her to find work, he doesn’t want Paola wearing lingerie on camera.
(Though she is in a bedroom, we’d like to point out)
Paola gets so worked up about upsetting Russ with her outfit that she throws up, twice.
That’s hard to imagine for some folks — different people’s stomachs are more or less nervous than others. (Personally, I haven’t thrown up since January 2004, and I plan to keep it that way)
But it shows how much she cares about his feelings and wants to make him happy.
Russ issuing edicts about what he is and isn’t okay with Paola wearing, including for work, doesn’t sit well with us at all.
First of all, my guy, sometimes (as in this case) that is literally part of her job.
Second of all, she is your wife — not your property.
She’s a professional, and that means wearing what she needs to on set and not either losing a gig or ruining a music video by insisting that things go her way.
Good for Paola.
Paola does confess her anxieties to the director.
“I’m freaking out,” she says at one point.
“My husband is a really conservative guy and for him, he doesn’t know I’m wearing lingerie.”
We wonder how often directors hear that kind of thing.
“He’s going to freak out. He’s going to kill me. I feel like I want to throw up.”
We don’t think that Paola means that she actually fears for her life or safety.
It’s worth noting that Paola and Russ are, last that we checked, still together.
Reality show footage is always a little behind the times, so this issue is hopefully something that the couple has already worked out.
We’ll just have to keep watching 90 Day Fiance to find out exactly how they work it out.
Hopefully their solution will involve Russ putting on his big-boy pants and realizing that Paola can dress for work however she needs to.
Whether it’s his ego or his Oklahoma values or whatever that’s getting him all worked up about Paola wearing lingerie for modeling, he needs to get used to it and be supportive of her career.
Paola’s stomach shouldn’t be in knots while she’s at a shoot.
She needs to focus on her work while she’s at work, not worry if it’s going to end her marriage.
When you look at this situation, you can’t help but feel for Paola.

Anchor Learns of Husband"s Death On Air, Completes Report
Supreet Kaur, an anchor for Indian news network IBC24, went viral over the weekend for the most tragic of reasons.
While listening to a reporter detail a two-vehicle crash in the region that featured two injuries and three fatalities, Kaur realized that her husband of 18 months, Harshad Kawade, was very likely one of the victims.
She knew the car he was driving that day and the area through which he was headed.
Somehow, though, the 28-year old journalist finished with the hour-long broadcast and only broke down after walking out of the TV studio, according to The Hindustan Times.
"She got a sense that it was her husband"s vehicle," a senior editor told the newspaper, adding:
"She read the bulletin and only when she came out of the studio, she started calling her relatives."
The editor added that Kaur’s colleagues had learned during the broadcast that Kaur"s husband as dead "but we did not tell her. We did not have the courage."
Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh tweeted about Kaur soon after this report concluded, writing online:
"Salute Supreet"s strength in dealing with her husband"s demise with extraordinary bravery and professionalism. May departed soul rest in peace."
The death of her husband was confirmed shortly after Kaur got up from her desk.
"She is an extremely brave lady," a colleague told the aforementioned publication.
