Brynn Cameron Scores HUGE Child Support Victory Over Blake Griffin!
Surprising news out of the sports world today, as Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin has reportedly been ordered to pay $ 258,000 in child support to ex-fiancee Brynn Cameron.
The report of this incredible sum was first published by Radar Online.
The outlet claims to have obtained court documents from a civil suit between Griffin and Cameron.
The agreement would require Griffin to pay over $ 3 million a year for he and Cameron’s two children, Ford, 5, and Finn, 2.
Of course, as Sports Illustrated points out, the payments equate to just 9 percent of the $ 35 million contract that Griffin declared as his annual income.
So you won’t be seeing the guy at your local soup kitchen anytime soon.
Context aside, however, $ 3 million annually remains an astonishing amount of money for a child support settlement.
Perhaps that’s why reps for Griffin and Cameron are currently running damage control and denying reports of this wildly unorthodox agreement.
“The recent reports of the financial details of the child support agreement between Blake Griffin and Brynn Cameron are inaccurate,” a rep tells People magazine.
“Both sides have settled amicably and are moving forward with co-parenting their two children,” the statement continues.
“Due to the confidential nature of the agreement, no further details will be released.”
Griffin and Cameron, who is the sister of former NFL tight end Jordan Cameron dated on and off for eight years before calling it quits for good in 2017.
Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Griffin was dating Kendall Jenner.
That relationship didn’t last long, but Brynn was reportedly outraged to learn Blake had decided to dump her for Kendall.
Earlier this year, Cameron sued Griffin for palimony, accusing him in court documents of abandoning his family for Jenner:
“After all, Griffin had no problem trading Brynn Cameron, his former fiancee, and the mother of his 2 children, for reality television star Kendall Jenner,” Cameron’s lawyers wrote at the time.
The suit further alleged that Griffin was an instrumental source of support in the early days of Griffin’s career, serving as his “personal assistant, meal planner, scheduler, stylist, publicist, party planner, nurse, nutritionist, branding expert, therapist, cheerleader, basketball and fitness consultant, and more.”
Obviously, she’s not playing any of those roles anymore … but she’s certainly received quite a severance package.

Cameron Douglas & Vivian Thibes Welcome First Child!
It’s only been a little more than a year since Michael Douglas’ son, Cameron Douglas, was released from prison after nearly 7 years behind bars on drug charges.
That’s enough time to ruin a life, but Cameron’s been moving forward with his life with a new approach to life and with his very pregnant girlfriend, Vivian Thibes.
But Vivian isn’t pregnant anymore, which Cameron announced with a precious post to Instagram.
Cameron Douglas’ girlfriend, yoga instructor Vivian Thibes, was way preggo in this photo … but that’s no longer the case, as Douglas excitedly shared on Instagram.
His caption reads:
“Today my appreciation for Mothers all over the world has reached new heights…”
We’re sure that Mike Pence’s wife will appreciate that. (Sorry!)
“Today I took part in a miracle as my baby girl was introduced to the world through a beautiful Amazon warrior…”
Awwww!
We’re touched by how excited he is to become a father but we just love how he describes his beautiful wife.

He follows that with a white bird emoji, and then a very simple tag:

They’re so precious.
Not long ago, Vivian shared her own pregnant yoga photo, this time standing in tree pose (which, depending on your balance, is either way harder or way easier than it looks, and I can only imagine how pregnancy complicates it).
In her own captions, Vivian wrote:
“As I come to the end of my pregnancy filled with gratitude for the love and support of my friends and family.”
That’s sweet!
“I reflect on the importance of regular yoga practice.”
That makes sense. Doing yoga is a popular choice during pregnancy. Also, you know, she’s a yoga instructor. it’s clearly her thing.
“Through my practice I was able to find balance and serenity during challenging times.”
Pregnancy can be a wild ride, folks.
“Like a tree, we want to have strong roots in order to stay grounded.”
See, and she’s doing tree pose. Cute.
“So whatever is your source of strength, nourish it because you will need it when things get out of your control.”
It’s good that she’s acknowledging that not everyone’s on the same path or draws strength from the same things.
Michael Douglas has previously expressed his excitement about becoming a grandfather.
We’re sure that his happiness is only compounded by how thrilled he is that his son is, for a little over a year not, finally out of prison.
While in prison for nearly seven years for drug charges (and as outrageous as that is, and it absolutely is, remember that men of color often have sentences several times that long for, again, nothing more than drug charges), Cameron did not have an easy time.
Cameron Douglas was beaten in prison.
In fact, he even had his leg broken by another inmate.
What it says about our society that nonviolent offenders are caged with vicious, violent offenders and spend years living in fear … well, it’s an indictment of our legal system, really.
That Cameron Douglas is in a mental and emotional place to move on with his life after surviving the horror show that is prison is a good sign.
We don’t know the name of Cameron and Vivian’s little girl, yet.
But we’re so excited that she’s been born and that it sounds like everyone involved is alright.
Congratulations to that entire family, honestly.

Cameron Diaz Turns 45: Read Her Husband"s Cute Birthday Message!
Cameron Diaz is one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood, so it comes as no surprise that she’s off the market and has been for a few years now.
The actress is married to Good Charlotte Rocker Benji Madden, and they appear to be happy with one another.
Their relationship could be summed up as whirlwind when you consider the fact that they knew each other for seven months before getting engaged.
In fact, it was none other than Nicole Richie who introduced them to each other. What a small world we live in.
Their engagement spanned just seventeen days before they got married in a beautiful ceremony at their home in Beverly Hills in 2015.
It’s crazy how quickly the milestones can come when you find someone who feels the same way about you.
With Diaz turning 45 yesterday, Madden took to his Instagram account to share a picture of them on a boat trip and to reveal his undying love for the Charlies Angels beauty.
Oh yes, we will always remember Cameron from that movie. Maybe not the sequel, that one is still mentally blocked from our minds.

Earlier this year, Cameron opened up about not finding someone she felt she could spend her life with until she was 42.
“I think it’s a matter of I just hadn’t met my husband,” Diaz said during a Gwyneth Paltrow-moderated panel for the pretentious company known as Goop.
“I had boyfriends before, and there’s a really, really distinct difference between husbands and boyfriends.”

James Cameron Slams Wonder Woman; Patty Jenkins Hit Back!
Maybe James Cameron should stick to deep sea diving and making Avatar movie sequels that literally nobody asked for.
The legendary director took aim at Wonder Woman, one of the most critically acclaimed and popular films of the summer, and just sort of rubbed his male opinions all over it.
Wonder Woman‘s director, Patty Jenkins, clapped back with her own statement.
In an interview with The Guardian, James Cameron dismisses Wonder Woman as a giant step backwards for women and for Hollywood.
He’s wrong, but here’s what he says:
“All of the self-congratulatory back-patting Hollywood’s been doing over Wonder Woman has been so misguided. She’s an objectified icon, and it’s just male Hollywood doing the same old thing! I’m not saying I didn’t like the movie but, to me, it’s a step backwards.”
It’s not clear how she was objectified. Her hair was nice and she looked gorgeous, but the only time that we can think of when Gal Gadot’s character’s appearance was a focus and she wasn’t in battle was maybe when she wore that stunning blue dress.
And then the focus shifted to the sword that she had concealed along her spine.
Naturally, James Cameron pivots to discussing and praising his own work.
“Sarah Connor was not a beauty icon. She was strong, she was troubled, she was a terrible mother, and she earned the respect of the audience through pure grit. And to me, [the benefit of characters like Sarah] is so obvious. I mean, half the audience is female!”
First of all, Linda Hamilton — who wasn’t only James Cameron’s star but also, for a time, his wife — doesn’t exactly have fond memories of their marriage and she hasn’t been shy about it, either.
So … that’s awkward to bring up. We’ll explain why he’s wrong in a moment.
But we’ll say that he’s absolutely right — half of the audience is female, so women should be catered to in films just as much as men are.
Like, we said, he’s wrong.
Wonder Woman herself, Diana of Themyscira, is conventionally attractive — which has always been part of her character.
There are absolutely greasy, nuts-and-bolts female superheroes.
The point isn’t that everybody needs to be an Imperator Furiosa or a Sarah Conner.
Those are great, but there are multiple ways to be a woman and therefore multiple ways to be a leading woman in an action movie.
Wonder Woman would always be a story about a strikingly beautiful woman who remains so even in the thick of battle.
(Just as Superman remains intensely handsome even when he’s in the middle of a knock-down, drag-out fight with the likes of Darkseid or whomever)
When they make a Hawkgirl movie, that’s the place to have a woman who gets dirty and gritty.
Hawkgirl is an alien (or sometimes a reincarnated one … ugh, why are comics like this), not a demigod. She hangs out in Space Taverns and gets into bar fights for fun.
James Cameron is falling into that trap of thinking that there’s only one progressive vision for females on screen, and that won’t serve him well.
Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins, who’s won acclaim for making the most successful superhero origin movie of all time, clapped back at James Cameron over Twitter:
“James Cameron’s inability to understand what Wonder Woman is, or stands for, to women all over the world is unsurprising as, though he is a great filmmaker, he is not a woman.”
Most of the women who saw Wonder Woman loved it.
(One of my viewing companions the first time that I saw it cried through at least a third of it. Like, tears of happiness)
“Strong women are great. His praise of my film Monster, and our portrayal of a strong yet damaged woman was so appreciated. But if women have to always be hard, tough and troubled to be strong, and we aren’t free to be multidimensional or celebrate an icon of women everywhere because she is attractive and loving, then we haven’t come very far have we.”
Yep.
“I believe women can and should be EVERYTHING just like male lead characters should be. There is no right and wrong kind of powerful woman. And the massive female audience who made the film a hit it is, can surely choose to judge their own icons of progress.”
Like we said, there are plenty of ways to be a woman and plenty of ways to be a hero.
The thing is that James Cameron should know that.
He was one of the creators of the massively underrated TV series, Dark Angel, where Jessica Alba was very capable of kicking butt and looking gorgeous in a show that was not subtle about its feminist ideals.
Don’t get us wrong — Dark Angel had a couple of problems. None of them had to do with the protagonist being attractive.
But it is disappointing to see James Cameron speaking over so many women to give his opinion.
Men can absolutely be feminists, just as white people can oppose racism, but women and people of color (respectively) shouldn’t have their voices drowned out by “allies.”
Anyway, Wonder Woman was great.
