Bekah Martinez: I Sent This Thirst Trap to Win Over Peter Kraus

Bekah Martinez resonated with the Bachelor Nation because she’s young, beautiful, funny, and oh-so relatable. And what could be more relatable than wishing that Peter Kraus were the Bachelor?

Bekah did, and she’s posting her The Bachelor casting photo to show just how far she was willing to go to get cast.

Her casting photo was a thirst trap … and also reveals just how thirsty she was for Peter.

The Bachelor Nation has spent months wondering why Peter Kraus wasn’t the leading man on this last season of The Bachelor.

At first, it was just disappointment, because Peter was a fan favorite and a lot of people wanted to see more of him.

(More of his face on television, we mean; simmer down)

Then it was surprise, both that he was not the Bachelor and that producers had made the seemingly random choice of Arie Luyendyk Jr.

After the world watched Arie’s brutal breakup with Becca and engagement to Lauren — they’re in Iceland and probably planning their TV wedding, by the way — many fans are more stunned than ever with the choices that producers made.

Bekah Martinez, this season’s breakout star, was more surprised than anyone when producers didn’t select Peter.

For proof, one need look no further than her casting photo.

Bekah shared this photo a week after the shocking finale, hearkening back to a more optimistic time.

In her captions, she roasted herself over her sideboob-sporting bid to be a contestant.

“THESE ARE THE LENGTHS MY CHEESY ASS REALLY WENT TO FOR MY BACHELOR CASTING PHOTOS.”

That line is followed by three emojis that wail tearfully, lamenting Peter’s absence from the role of leading man.

“#Blindsided #DidntKnowWhatWasComing”

The now 23-year-old (she was 22 until last month)

“(This isn’t me hitting on ol’ Pete. He’s too busy cuddling with his dog and doing pull-ups or something)”

She might not be flirting with him, but it’s clear that she’s been checking out his Instagram page.

With good reason.

So … no one really questions why Bekah had hoped that she’d be vying for Peter’s heart.

When Bekah explained to Jimmy Kimmel exactly how she became a missing persons case, she also admitted that she had hoped that the leading man would be Peter.

She has also been outspoken, sharing with the world that, even though he’s way older, she doesn’t think that Arie is mature enough to get married because he’s indecisive about what he really wants, and seems to reject women who voice their own opinions.

(Lauren Burnham is notoriously quiet, at least when she’s on camera)

Just a week or so ago, Bekah called out Arie for DMing her after the series ended, and exposed his private messages to the world.

DMing your ex is not a great look for a guy who just publicly broke up with one woman to go back to his most recent ex.

Though Bekah is a fan favorite, her newly revealed casting photo received some hateful messages, and this one … we just had to share.

“Thanks used prove to me Tia is right you weren’t in this for anything but peter!”

“Why would you continue to go on this show & and play with a man’s affections you’re 22 years old and I have a feeling that’s the reason why YOU left the age blank.”

This commenter seems particularly fixated on Bekah’s age.

“I’ve never seen the producers do that in all these years!”

What follows is a barely-coherent run-on sentence that we’ve broken into two chunks to make it slightly easier to read.

“You were a favorite of mine and I think you were a favorite of a lot of people until we seen how you backstabbed Arie he made a mistake he owned up to it he was there to find true love he found it now you belittle him for it.”

That same run-on sentence continues here:

“You can see on your face you were mad when you got sent home I think this is all in anger too bad I think they need to have a 25 age limit.”

An age limit of 25 is absurd. Not only would the Bachelor Nation have been deprived of its new sweetheart, but not every leading man is as old as Arie.

If Dean Unglert — who fell from grace in the eyes of fans but more or less redeemed himself on The Bachelor: Winter Games — were to star on The Bachelor, an age limit of 25 would make him one of the youngest people on the show.

(Deanie Babies was born in 1991, and will turn 27 next month)

No, this is just ageism. As we’ve seen, Bekah may be young, but she seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

After what we saw with Becca Kufrin’s heartbreak, it looks like Bekah’s much more willing to commit than Arie is.

Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly: It"s Finally Over!

The most dysfunctional relationship in the history of Hollywood has finally come to an end.

No, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have not gone their separate ways. Not yet, at least.

But it sounds very much as if Peter Gunz and Amina Buddafly are at last on the verge of doing so.

We know this for one very simple and very straightforward reason:

Both Peter and Amina posted the actual divorce papers on Instagram, with the latter taking this action first and thereby implying that she is the one who filed.

“Ready, set, go…” wrote Buddafly as a caption, with Peter adding for his part: “The end…”

Here is a look at the papers in question:

Gunz followed up on this message by posting a photo of himself and his soon-to-be-ex-wife and making it clear that their split is amicable.

“Our divorce is not ugly.. No lawyers no judges no Mediators!! Just us.. I love @aminabuddafly and the Beautiful Queens she gave me,” he wrote, concluding as follows:

“Divorce in our case is not a bad thing it’s best and won’t change the support and love for her my kids and her music.. no comments necessary.”

As those who watch Love & Hip Hop online (or on television) know quite well, Gunz and Buddafly have a pretty amazing history.

We mean this is the most depressing/disturbing/hilarious/contentious/scandal sense of the word.

Gunz and Buddafly (not their real names… we assume) got together while Peter was with Tara Wallace, the mother of a few of his kids.

He basically kept having sex with both Amina and Tara over the years, more or less out in the open even.

In August of 2016, the couple welcomed their second child into the world, a girl named Bronx.

She was born not long after Gunz and Wallace also had a kid together, with Bronx marking Peter’s 10th child overall.

That is not a misprint. Peeter Gunz is the father of 10 kids.

And neither Buddafly nor Wallace seemed to really care that their baby daddy was also someone else’s simultaneous baby daddy.

Wrote Buddafly to all the haters two years ago, while carrying one of Peter’s two fetuses at the time:

“I Got pregnant again because I made love to the man I love… Now y’all can debate on why we did it until ya hair turns grey…

“@petergunz174 I love you 4ever and I will never be scared to show or say it because of people.”

Well, not so much 4ever, we guess. Not after this divorce news.

Then again, it would surprise no one at all if Amina and Peter also announced in a few months that they’re expecting another baby together.

That’s just how they roll.

Peter Kraus: Making His Bachelor Comeback on New Spinoff!

Sometimes spinoffs are based upon natural, logical progressions. The Bachelorette absolutely makes sense as a spinoff of The Bachelor, for example.

Other times, spinoffs involve a familiar concept — like the Bachelor franchise — combined with something seemingly unrelated. Like the Olympics. Because that’s what we’re getting with The Bachelor Winter Games.

But we’re not complaining. No one is. Because this new spinoff will feature the Bachelor comback of fan favorite Peter Kraus.

In a shocking move, showrunners chose Arie Luyendyk Jr. over Peter Kraus to be the next leading man on The Bachelor.

It’s been a month since that news broke but it’s only just now starting to feel real, you know?

But ABC wasn’t done with making Bachelor franchise decisions based upon random whims, because they’re coming out with The Bachelor Winter Games, which premieres in February.

This spinoff will be a reality competition following a winter sports motif, as you might have guessed from the name.

It will feature returning stars from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, including some from other countries where Bachelor shows are filmed.

(The Bachelor Nation actually transcends national borders, folks)

These contestants will be filmed living in a winter resort … where they will, and we’re not making this up, compete in an array of winter sport challenges.

Why did they decide to do this?

Our best guess is that they wanted another all stars series like Bachelor in Paradise, but they wanted it to run during the winter.

if it turns out to be successful, this would be good for the network, since it’s a popular franchise.

It would also be good for some of the stars, as The Bachelor Winter Games could help them to “tread water” between seasons (like if someone was on The Bachelorette and is scheduled to appear on Bachelor in Paradise, but fans want more and the person doesn’t want to just return to their hometown in the interim)

We can imagine producers discussing this and someone saying: “Well, we just need a winter version of Bachelor in Paradise” and suddenly a proverbial lightbulb goes off in someone’s mind and they’re like “Like the Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics!”

See, it works to have Bachelor in Paradise in the summer and in Mexico because, even though the temperatures there make your average person want to die, it’s very conducive to people not wearing a lot of clothing and feeling like they’re so removed from their regular lives that anything could happen.

If their winter equivalent were just a bunch of beautiful reality stars hanging out in parkas and looking for love … that just wouldn’t make for great television.

So we suppose that their solution was to make it competitive. We’re hoping that it won’t be athletically demanding, because not everyone is cut out for that.

And we don’t want to see the cast limited at all.

Peter Kraus, of course, is extremely fit, and he could do well.

More importantly, he’s just a popular and beloved figure by fans of the franchise, which is why the news that he’ll be one of the stars of this spinoff really warmed the cockles of our hearts.

Yesterday evening, Michael Fleiss tweeted out the news:

“Yes, Peter will be looking for love– and going for the gold– on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!”

Fans haven’t quite forgiven Fleiss for casting Arie Luyendyk Jr. when there was a perfectly good Peter Kraus sitting right there, but this is a step in the right direction.

“Plus, sexy international Bachelors and Bachelorettes from the dozens of countries that also produce #TheBachelor… “

The use of the word “sexy” isn’t necessary, since we’re all familiar with the franchise, but it does seem to imply that there will be matchmaking involved.

“In celebration of #TheBachelor being the world’s No. 1 show, at least 12 different nations will be represented at The Winter Games!!!”

Was anyone else a little surprised to learn that so many countries are involved with the show?

We don’t know how much of an emphasis this show will place on romance.

The games themselves may end up having as much to do with matchmaking as they do with athletic competitions.

(Let’s face it — we’re not expecting this to appeal to people for the sports element)

We’ll all find out what sort of show it is together when The Bachelor Winter Games premieres in February of 2018!

Peter Kraus: Here"s Why I"m Not the Bachelor!

The Bachelor Nation is still collectively reeling from the very controversial choice that showrunners have made in casting Arie Luyendyk Jr. as the next Bachelor.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. is controversial on his own — a former friend describes him as "disgusting," and now we"re hearing that Arie broke up with his girlfriend to become the Bachelor just two nights before the big announcement.

But the biggest controversy was that they didn"t cast fan-favorite, Peter Kraus. And Peter"s opening up in an interview. We have video of that below!

Peter kraus and daisy

Against the vocal advice of fans and clearly against the better judgment of her own family …

(Rachel"s sister in particular did not like the idea of Rachel being with Bryan Abasolo and she was not subtle about it, either)

… Rachel Lindsay ended her season of The Bachelorette by breaking up with Peter Kraus and getting engaged to Bryan Abasolo.

And, you know what? As much as we don"t understand that choice and probably never will … you gotta support that.

Rachel Lindsay picked the man she wanted. In the end, that"s the point of the show.

She didn"t want the man who took marriage so seriously that he wasn"t sure that he was prepared to propose to her at the end of the season without spending more time with her.

To Peter, you see, an engagement is a true commitment to get married, not just the next level of dating.

Bryan Abasolo, however, saw that Rachel Lindsay wanted a fairytale love story and he was willing to give that to her.

Some would say that Bryan said whatever Rachel wanted to hear and that she bought it, hook, line, and sinker.

Others say that they just really connected and are perfect for each other.

Peter kraus on a hot day

But with Rachel choosing Bryan and showrunners choosing Brie, where does that leave Peter Kraus?

With his endearing charm, his gap-toothed smile, and yes, also his abs, Peter Kraus seems to have been left high and dry by his time on The Bachelor.

That doesn"t sit right with a lot of fans.

(This week"s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver even commented on it, sharing the outrage of the Bachelor Nation)

Peter Kraus spoke out after Arie Luyendyk Jr. was named, but his lengthy Instagram essay was mostly talking about appreciating his time on the series and discussing what he"d learned and how he will always be grateful to Rachel.

This time, however, Peter is actually being interviewed.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Peter Kraus shares a lot, even sharing exactly why he wasn"t selected as the Bachelor.

Peter kraus pic

He starts by talking about whether he"d take the gig in the future, if given the chance.

"If the offer were to come up in the future, I could see myself doing it. It seems like an amazing opportunity. At this stage in my life, I"m single, I"m happy, business is good, family is good. I"m ready for the next step again, and if that"s what route it took, I"d be OK with that."

So there"s hope, folks.

Rachel"s season left him in a vulnerable place, though.

"It was such an emotional roller coaster. I didn"t feel like I had enough time to process the season and After the Final Rose, and where I was at in my own life at the time. I needed more time for clarity."

Studies show that men, on average, take longer than women to recover from a breakup.

And Peter is a sensitive guy.

"I"m the type of person who needs maybe too much time to process things when it comes to life and love…when I"m talking about my wife and my future, I want to take time to really think about it."

He got criticism for that. Mostly from Rachel. Most fans considered that an appropriate level of thought to put into something so important.

"I"m going to weigh out everything in my life, and then make the best possible decision based on all the information."

Shouldn"t we all think this way?

Peter kraus instagram pic

And as for why he wasn"t selected as the Bachelor?

"The conversations that [producers, ABC executives and I] had [about being the Bachelor] were never specific to "Yes or no?" It was more, "Are you ready?" and me saying I was not."

As devastating as that was to fans, that makes a lot of sense. Peter was still recovering from a very devastating breakup.

"It was a mutual respect for where each other was at, what I know they need from a Bachelor and what I know I was ready to give at the time of those talks. I would never say it was a clear, defined answer. It was, "This is where we"re at, and we"re OK with going in different directions.""

But since he"d be open to being the leading man in the future … we"ll hold out hope. In the mean time, Arie Luyendyk"s season already has a promo.

Does anyone know where we can go to get placed in a medically induced coma until Peter"s season begins?

Asking for a friend.

Peter Kraus Speaks Out After Arie Luyendyk Jr is Named the Next Bachelor!

The next Bachelor has been revealed. While so many of us scramble to understand why Arie Luyendyk Jr. was chosen, others express their frustration that producers overlooked the man they saw as the perfect candidate.

Weeks ago, they were hinting that Peter Kraus might not be the next Bachelor, and we told you about it but we still didn’t want to listen. Nobody did.

Without directly addressing the choice of Luyendyk, Peter Kraus penned a moving essay about his experience on The Bachelorette and his biggest takeaway. But, come on — it’s his response to not being the Bachelor.

You know, when the folks behind The Bachelor said that their next pick for leading man would “shock” fans, we weren’t sure what to think.

But they were kind of right.

Like, if a restaurant asked you what you wanted and you just said “surprise me” (never do this, even at a restaurant that allows it; don’t be a tool), and the waiter came back with a tray full of slices of lemon and nothing else, you’d be surprised.

Maybe even shocked.

But not because it’s outlandish or delightful. Just because it’s totally unexpected.

Maybe Arie Luyendyk Jr. will prove to be an amazing leading man. He was on the eighth season of The Bachelorette. and he’s handsome and all that.

But a large portion of the Bachelor Nation is mourning what they’d hoped to see — Peter Kraus getting his own season.

Peter took to Instagram to share a lengthy post … at right about the time that the news broke.

instead of sharing those amazing abs of his, Peter instead wanted fans and followers to concentrate on his words:

“#tbt to the most incredible journey of this life time that has now officially come to an end today.”

Maybe … maybe he could still star on The Bachelor, some day. There’s always next year, right?

“As I sit here writing this, I struggle to hold back the tears as I am overcome with emotion one last time.”

We’ve all seen him cry, so that sounds real.

“First and foremost.. Rachel, there are so very many things that I’ve wished I could say to you since the day we parted ways in Spain, but for everyone’s sake, I’ll keep it short…”

This should be good. …

“You gave me a chance and all that I can say is thank you. I have a heart filled with love for you now and always and wish you nothing but the best in your life and love ahead.”

Awwww!

Peter also addresses ABC (and, by extension, producers, etc).

“ABC, you saw something in me, but something held me back. You treated me with such love and kindness and showed me glimpses of a life I never once dreamed that I could have.”

That’s very gracious.

“I will be forever humbled and grateful and will always look back at these last 6 months with an ear to ear smile, knowing that this has truly been a very special life indeed.”

“Upon leaving the @bacheloretteabc I was asked, ‘what did you learn about yourself during this process?’ And at the time I naively said ‘nothing that I can think of.’ Now… looking back… I realize I learned one of the single greatest teachings of my life.”

That’s a hard thing to try to answer on the fly.

But here’s his big takeaway:

“When you let uncertainty or fear guide your decisions, you risk missing out on what could potentially be the greatest opportunity of a life time.”

He’s talking about his reluctance to propose to Rachel Lindsay right away, because he takes engagements and love very seriously.

That got him penalized by Rachel and clearly by the showrunners.

His parting words are moving and many would say that they’re good advice in general:

“So live dangerously, live without the fear of the unknown, and continue to live and love with a heart that is truly open to anything. #thankyou #lovealways”

At this point, we hope that this shared wisdom will set Peter up to be the next next Bachelor.

Really, we could have avoided this heartbreak if Rachel Lindsay had seen what fans saw in the first place.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. Named The Bachelor: Why Was He Picked? Why Not Peter Kraus?

While the Internet is freaking out that Arie Luyendyk Jr. is the next Bachelor, ABC’s powers that be are at peace with the surprise decision.

Despite a fan base clamoring for Peter Kraus (among others) from the most recent season of The Bachelorette, Arie got the nod. Why?

“The timing seems right,” Robert Mills, ABC Senior V.P., told ER. “He’s incredibly sincere. He’s dated a lot of women since Emily [Maynard].”

“He says he’s never been in love since Emily, and that’s a really interesting story to try to bring to completion this season on The Bachelor.”

Arie and Emily met in 2012, though. Why wait this long to bring him back? Mills says again, it was all about timing then, and now.

It worked out best for Sean Lowe (and Juan Pablo Galavis, Chris Soules, Ben Higgins and Nick Viall) then, and it’s Arie’s time in 2018.

Simple as that?

Not for many fans, who felt Peter Kraus from Rachel Lindsay’s season of The Bachelorette was an obvious choice. Not so, says Mills.

Kraus is the man, no doubt about it, but wasn’t “100 percent ready” for the job. “Peter was absolutely in discussion,” the exec shares.

“He sort of alluded to that as well. I think at this point in Peter’s life, the breakup with Rachel was still very raw,” he explains.

“Sometimes you move on quickly, sometimes you don’t. I think that, for him, there were still residual feelings, and it was a very real breakup.”

“They all are, but this was tough. I think the finale, when that aired and everything after that was also hard on Peter. I think he just didn’t know.”

“I think Peter probably would have done it and been an amazing Bachelor, but I also don’t know if he, himself, knew if this was the time.”

“I think we’ll always be in touch with Peter, and there might be a time… It might be a year from now, when it’s better for him.”

“Peter was an incredible fan favorite, which I think was great, but I also think [there is a double-edged sword with that,” Mills says.

“If it’s not the season that the fans want, which, you know, might have been if Peter might not have been ready to commit 100 percent?”

“That’s also disappointing,” he says, so even if Kraus may be the most popular man in Bachelor Nation doesn’t make him the best pick.

“I think it was just both sides saying, “You know what? It’s not 100 percent right. Let’s wait and do this when it’s 100 percent right.”

“We develop real feelings and relationships for these guys. It’s hard. I love him, and I hope we do something with Peter down the road.”

“He’s a great guy. And that came through on his season of The Bachelorette, why so many people like him.”

For now, though, “Arie is somebody we actually talked to all the way back, you know, when he was the runner-up on Emily’s season.”

“And, you know, I don’t think the right time was then. This year, we met with Arie, and he’s really built a life for himself in Arizona.”

“He still does the race car driving thing, but he’s also built a very big business in real estate. He has a life now to share with somebody.”

“The timing seems right. I think that will definitely be his compelling narrative, that he has not been in love since Emily.”

“Arie is in the right place in his life to find somebody,” Mills says. “He really has a life to go back to. He wants kids.”

“He wants what Emily has.”

“He’s in that place. We talked to people, we talked about people from Rachel’s season, from JoJo’s season.”

“I don’t think there was anyone who was as ready for this as Arie is,” says the ABC shot-caller.

Will fans agree, and tune in as they always do? Or was this pick a little out of left field? Discuss.

"Bachelorette" Star Peter Kraus Can"t Say (Yet) If He"s the Next "Bachelor"

Rachel Lindsay’s runner-up on “The Bachelorette” won’t say for sure if he’s next to hand out roses for love — but he’s giving us strong signals he might be. We got Peter Kraus — a fan fave who wouldn’t take a knee for Rachel this season –…

Peter Kraus: Will He Be The Bachelor or What?!?

We’re inching closer and closer to the announcement that will change the television landscape for 2018.

Or at least engaged the Internet is some intense rounds of debate.

At some point in the next several days, ABC is expected to name its next star of The Bachelor, with many women around the world hoping and praying that star will be Peter Kraus.

For what reason?

Just take a look at the photo above.

Do you need another reason?

According to series expert Reality Steve, these fans of the franchise need not worry.

Despite a few reports to the contrary, Kraus is expected to anchor the upcoming season of The Bachelor.

“(SPOILER): I feel confident in reporting that sources are telling me Peter is the next Bachelor & it will be announced soon,” Steve Tweeted this week, adding:

“I’m aware of last min switch ups in the past, but I don’t believe that’s happening this time. He’s been the guy they’ve wanted since Day 1.”

Kraus just barely missed winning over Rachel Lindsay on the latest season of The Bachelorette.

He was given the boot on a finale that concluded with the Dallas-based attorney selecting Bryan Abasolo.

A major reason Lindsay went elsewhere with her affection? Kraus has strongly hinted that he wouldn’t actually propose if he won; he wanted to wait to actually get to know Rachel better before popping life’s biggest question.

Such logic goes against all The Bachelor stands for, of course.

We’re not even making a joke. This is what creator Mike Fleiss Tweeted just a couple weeks ago in reference to Peter:

“Do we really want a Bachelor who isn’t ready to settle down with a woman he loves? Hmmm. Not what #thebachelor is all about…”

(Editor’s Note: How many Bachelors have actually settled down with the women they chose on the show, Mike?)

It’s no secret, however, that Kraus has been the leading contender ever since The Bachelorette concluded.

He was directly asked about his potential as The Bachelor this summer and THIS IS WHAT HE SAID.

What about Dean Unglert? Too young, critics believe.

Wells Adams? He vied for JoJo’s heart back on Season 12 and ABC typically selects from a more recent round of scorned suitors.

Ben Higgins, who has split from Lauren Bushnell?

“Will I be the Bachelor again?,” he wrote in an August 17 blog post. “I’m not saying ‘never’; I’m just saying ‘not now.’”

Well…we’re saying never. The guy had his shot.

So that basically leaves Peter Kraus. Not that we’re complaining!

A new season of The Bachelor will probably kick off in January, but it isn’t too soon to ask the following:

Do you want Peter Kraus to be The Bachelor?

Peter Kraus Might Not Be the Bachelor, Because Everything"s Garbage

Did Peter Kraus being a mature person with a grounded, honest idea of what engagements mean kill his chance to be the Bachelor?

Yeah, we know — it’s upsetting to think about.

But, unthinkably, it’s starting to look that way.

From very early on, Peter Kraus was a clear frontrunner on this last season of The Bachelorette.

To the collective horror of most of the Bachelor Nation, Rachel Lindsay chose Bryan Abasolo and left Peter as a weeping mess.

What appears to have been the deciding factor for Rachel, despite Peter Kraus’ countless winning qualities, is that Bryan was willing to say exactly what Rachel wanted to hear.

Rachel wanted her season to end with a proposal.

To Peter, a proposal means a commitment to marry — which is, folks, literally what proposals are — and he would want to continue to get to know Rachel and date her after their season ended.

You don’t know someone until you’ve seen them off-camera.

To Rachel, though, a delay on the proposal meant an interruption of her carefully imagined plans.

It was a dealbreaker.

But many began to hope that Peter would go on to have a career within the Bachelor Nation.

We talked to you about why Peter Kraus would be the perfect Bachelor.

He has a huge fanbase already.

He’s charming, he’s handsome.

And there’s a reason that we spent an entire post talking about Peter Kraus’ abs, folks.

Seriously.

Despite the demands by Bachelor Nation members of sense everywhere, however, it looks like the creator of The Bachelor doesn’t think that Peter is the right fit.

Mike Fleiss is a producer of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. He is also the creator of The Bachelor.

Just a few hours ago, in possibly the most transparent subtweet that we have seen, ever, in our lives, Mike Fleiss said this:

“Do we really want a Bachelor who isn’t ready to settle down with a woman he loves? Hmmm. Not what #thebachelor is all about…”

Dude, that is not subtle at all.

Peter Kraus has said that he’s undecided about being the Bachelor, but his fans are rooting for him.

In the light of Mike Fleiss’ tweet, though, many fans are crushed.

We’d like to point out that it isn’t a “hard no.”

And also that Fleiss didn’t actually mention Peter Kraus by name at all.

(Even though he might as well have just hired a skywriter to spell out Peter’s full name in the heavens)

It’s entirely possible that Fleiss is deliberately teasing the Bachelor Nation, or even floating the idea by appearing to reject it.

As many fans responded, Peter as a suitor and Peter as the leading man are very different things regarding his willingness to commit.

We’ll say this much about the horrible nightmare universe where Peter Kraus isn’t the Bachelor:

At least there’s a chance that it could be Dean Unglert.

If you’ll recall, Dean Unglert is also a favorite to be the Bachelor. Despite his youth.

Unlike with Peter Kraus, even Rachel Lindsay seemed supportive of the idea of Dean taking up the mantle.

Dean is a little young, but he’s 26, so … that shouldn’t be a dealbreaker for anyone.

He’s also basically universally loved (even by Peter — those two struck up a real friendship) and his dazzling blue eyes can steal anyone’s heart.

So, even without Peter, there’s a very real chance that the next season of The Bachelor could be salvaged.

But (as Rachel Lindsay is likely to feel in a few years), we’ll always wonder what might have been.

Peter Thomas of RHOA is Getting His Own Reality Show, Folks!

Peter Thomas, Cynthia Bailey’s ex who is no longer on The Real Housewives of Atlanta after their split, may be getting his own reality series.

And no, before you ask, it’s not going to be a fighting show. With or without knives.

But we’re actually pretty excited about it.

Okay, so, just for a refresher:

Peter Thomas was with Real Housewife Cynthia Bailey for ages.

By extension, Peter became part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Honestly, he’s almost certainly part of what Kenya Moore’s new husband, Marc Daly, is reluctant to appear on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and why Marc says that the show’s portrayal of black men is negative.

Specifically, Peter Thomas’ famous on-camera brawl with Matt Jordan … doesn’t put any demographic’s best foot forward. It doesn’t seem like Peter Thomas’ fault, but we can see how Marc Daly would shy away from appearing on the same program.

As you probably remember (because a fight like that is hard to forget), at a radio station in Charlotte, NC, Matt Jordan was yelling insults at Peter Thomas before rushing him, shoving people out of the way.

Video then shows Matt Jordan attacking Peter Thomas, who at one point displays that he has either grabbed or pulled out a box-cutter knife.

(To be fair, Peter Thomas was clearly being attacked, and also resisted what must have been a powerful urge to use it as a lethal weapon)

Last year, Peter Thomas ended his stint on The Real Housewives of Atlanta when he and Cynthia Bailey got divorced. …

But his career in reality television may not be over just yet.

TMZ reports that Peter Thomas has a spin-off series in the works with Bravo.

Producers tell TMZ that Peter has started filming a pilot for Bravo about him and his club, Club One, in Charlotte.

If you’re getting a Vanderpump Rules vibe from this spinoff, you’re not alone.

Right now, it’s about Peter owning and managing the club in the aftermath of his breakup from Cynthia last year.

(Though TMZ says that it’s highly unlikely that Cynthia Bailey will ever guest star, which totally makes sense)

“In the works” doesn’t mean a done deal (not all pilots get to grow up into a full season) but that’s still exciting.

But that same report says that the network likes what it is seeing, so Peter Thomas’ series sounds likely to get at least one season.

It’s funny, because literally just yesterday I was talking to a friend about how there should be a The Real Housewives of Charlotte.

(Actually it started with me talking about how a mutual friend’s mother would be perfect for The Real Housewives of Asheville, which is also not a show yet, but then we acknowledged that if there were to be a Real Housewives show set in North Carolina, you’d start in Charlotte or Raleigh)

Charlotte is prime territory for a reality series, as it’s NC’s largest city and also one of the largest banking centers in the United States — which means a lot of business interests.

And, by extension, a lot of potential Real Housewives.

(Raleigh would have more along the lines of tech wives, which could also totally work … just saying)

Now, the possibility of Peter Thomas’ show isn’t quite the same as a Real Housewives spin-off, and we get that.

But … it’s sure as hell a step in the right direction, right?

They may be floating this idea to go ahead and gauge public interest.

We say that it sounds interesting enough that we’d like to see how the pilot works.

Peter Thomas is no stranger to reality television, and running a club can be a source of all sorts of potential drama.

Let’s just leave the box-cutters alone as much as possible and avoid fights, though.

Peter Cvjetanovic: Charlottesville Nazi Swears He"s Not Racist

If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the past three days, then you’ve no doubt heard about the horrifying events that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.

Bearing lit tiki torches (as though they’re not easy enough to make fun of without the Pier One props), dozens of white nationalists (read: Nazis) took to the streets in order to spread fear and racial hatred.

The protest soon turned violent, resulting in a shocking act of terrorism that claimed the life of counter-protester Heather Heyer and injured 19 others.

We know that James Alex Fields Jr. was the man who drove his vehicle into the crowd, killing Heyer, but not surprisingly, there’s been a concerted effort to put names to all of the hateful faces who helped create the tragic situation in Charlottesville.

The aptly-named Twitter account @yesyoureracist is spearheading a campaign to identify each of the citronella-scented bigots who assembled in Charlottesville to protest the proposed removal of a monument dedicated to Robert E. Lee.

Perhaps the most famous photo from the incident is the above shot that shows one young man holding his torch aloft and screaming his message of hate.

(The demonstrators reportedly chanted “white lives matter” and “Jews will not replace us.”)

The man has now been identified as 20-year-old University of Nevada, Reno student Peter Cvjetanovic.

Reached for comment, Cvjetanovic insisted that he’s not a racist, and offered up some BS about the importance of European culture as an explanation for his presence at the rally.

“I did not expect the photo to be shared as much as it was. I understand the photo has a very negative connotation,” Cvjetanovic said in an interview with Reno’s KTVN-TV

“But I hope that the people sharing the photo are willing to listen that I’m not the angry racist they see in that photo.”

He went on to justify his awfulness with the type of explanation that’s sure to put him up there with Martin Shkreli as one of the internet’s most hated villains:

“I came to this march for the message that white European culture has a right to be here just like every other culture,” Cvjetanovic said.

“It is not perfect. There are flaws to it, of course. However, I do believe that the replacement of the statue will be the slow replacement of white heritage within the U.S. and the people who fought and defended and built their homeland,” he added.

“Robert E. Lee is a great example of that. He wasn’t a perfect man, but I want to honor and respect what he stood for during his time.”

Shockingly, Cvjetanovic had no comment with regard to his feelings on other generals who are most famous for wars they lost or the importance of preserving the cultures of continents that aren’t populated mostly by white people.

Thousands have called for Cvjetanovic to be expelled from the University of Nevada, but the school has yet to publicly respond.

Meanwhile, the troll who likely blames his persistent virginity on people with darker skin is standing by his beliefs:

“I will defend tooth and nail my views as a white nationalist,” Cvjetanovic said. “I love my culture and will fight for it, but never in a violent way.”

We’re living in frightening times.

Stay safe out there, folks.

Peter Kraus: We Need to Talk About His Abs, Folks

We’ve done a terrible disservice, to Peter Kraus but also to his fans.

Sure, we’ve spoken plenty about how he should absolutely be the next Bachelor. We’ve talked about how charming and sincere here is.

What we haven’t done, however, is give sufficient time and attention to Peter Kraus’ abs. And that’s on us.

We’ve mentioned that a major asset of Peter Kraus’ that made him such a stronger contender on The Bachelorette and that should make him such an obvious choice for The Bachelor is that he’s handsome.

Photos of him speak for themselves in that regard, but what if someone with impaired vision has their computer read them posts on Peter Kraus?

They deserve to know.

But his soulful eyes and powerful jawline and winnin, gap-toothed smile don’t tell the whole story.

For the whole story, you need to see this man in all of his glory.

This is a guy who did modeling before he became a fitness trainer, and it shows.

We included this photo when we wrote about Rachel Lindsay claiming that Peter Kraus is manipulative, but we didn’t talk about it.

This photo:

We included it in the post like it’s just a selfie that he snapped at brunch or whatever.

We didn’t give it any time or attention.

That’s basically a crime.

He shared that inescapable thirst trap on Friday.

It’s the kind of pic that might kill you — but it’ll also bring you back to life.

And while we’re talking about Peter Kraus photos, well … there’s this:

This photo has abs and thighs, giving fans and followers a jaw-dropping double-dose.

The pic is also very reminiscent (though probably by accident) of a particular screencap from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that PC Gamer’s Twitter account uses every single time that they write about The Witcher.

They do this to troll insecure followers who didn’t like the particular photo of Geralt in a bathtub.

It’s hard to imagine this photo of Peter Kraus eliciting any complaints, though.

He should just do commercials where he’s posed like that and selling a product.

Any product, really.

Watch the sales go up. Any viewer would be thoroughly entranced.

And here’s one that we included on our list of reasons that Peter Kraus should absolutely be the next Bachelor.

It’s almost enough to make you wonder why we bothered having anything else on the list.

Obviously, as we’ve mentioned, Peter has a lot more going for him than his shockingly chiseled body or his dazzling good looks.

And those will be major assets for him, wherever his career takes him next.

(Hopefully he’ll play the lead on The Bachelor, though he hasn’t yet said if he’d agree to be the Bachelor)

Personality matters when you’re choosing someone with whom you might potentially spend the entire rest of your life, so it’s a huge deal on a show like The Bachelorette.

But most people don’t have the option of dating Peter Kraus, on or off of television. Most people only see him through a screen.

So, though the Bachelor Nation already knows endless reasons why Peter is lovable, it helps to be reminded of exactly what a spectacular catch he is.

You’re welcome, basically.
