Thomas Ravenel: Evil Kathryn Dennis is Using Our Kids Ratings & Fame!!
Last month, Southern Charm star Kathryn Dennis filed to amend custody of her two children following the arrest of baby daddy Thomas Ravenel.
Though Thomas is facing a criminal trial, he’s also making time to fight this custody filing.
Thomas is alleging that Kathryn is only making this move to get better ratings — and that Bravo put her up to it.
RadarOnline got their hands on some documents from Charleston Family Court.
Thomas is suing, but he’s not aiming directly at Kathryn.
Instead, the disgraced former politician is suing Bravo and production company Haymaker Media, Inc.
Thomas claims that they “encouraged, condoned and/or gave Plaintiff express or implied consent to initiate a lawsuit against the Third Party Plaintiff.”
This suit being, of course, “for custody of Plaintiff’s and Third Party Plaintiff’s minor children.”
“The Plaintiff filed and was encouraged to file this lawsuit,” Thomas’ team alleges.
And they say it was done “for the express or implied purpose of providing material for the filming of Season 6 of Southern Charm.“
Thomas is trying to stop Bravo from airing any footage of Kathryn’s kids. Even though it’s a reality show and she’s their mom.
“The Third Party Plaintiff requests that this Court enjoin the Third Party Defendants,” the suit says.
The papers continue: “from disseminating and/or airing any Season 6 and/or otherwise unaired video footage which features the minor children.”
Thomas wants no footage relating “in this matter and/or which directly or indirectly concerns the minor children, this litigation, and/or the custody dispute.”
He specifies that the dispute is: “between the Plaintiff and the Third Party Plaintiff.”
“And,” the papers say, he wants this footage to remain unaired on Bravo “permanently.”
Thomas is also asking the court to force the defendants to pay all attorney fees.
“Defendant is informed,” the suit claims.
“And believes it is not coincidental that Plaintiff initiated this litigation during the filming of the next season of Southern Charm,” the documents conclude.
Kathryn Dennis is a reality star.
While she’s not literally always filming, she does spend a lot of her life during periods when she’s filming.
That is how the reality business usually works.
Thomas should know that — he spent five years on the show that he’s now suing.
If there is a special component to Kathryn’s timing, it probably has less to do with reality television.
It probably has more to do with Thomas Ravenel’s arrest in September for assault and battery.
The arrest stems from harrowing accusations from Nanny Dawn, one of two women who have come forward to accuse Ravenel of rape.
Kathryn insisted that she was going to avoid directly commenting on the allegations at first.
(She did manage to get a 50/50 custody split around that time, very quietly)
But an arrest is much more difficult to gloss over for the sake of one’s shared children.
Kathryn very likely seeks to limit how much her very young children are exposed to what’s sure to be a highly publicized trial.
It was the month following Thomas’ arrest that Kathryn filed to amend their custody arrangement.
There is doubt that Thomas’ team’s argument that Kathryn’s sinister plot to have custody of her own children is a ploy for ratings.
It seems more likely that, at “worst,” she cynically figured that right now — while he’s facing trial — may be her best shot at getting custody.
If Thomas ends up going to prison, she’s a shoe-in for custody anyway.
But if Thomas avoids prison time or is acquitted, she may never have this good of a chance in court again.
And again, how much of their father’s trial do Kensie and Saint really need to be exposed to?
We’re no legal scholars, but some wonder if perhaps Thomas doesn’t believe that he has a real chance of blocking Bravo from filming.
It may be that he hopes to instead plant a seed of doubt in family court about Kathryn’s intentions.
If he can successfully portray his ex as an opportunistic glutton for fame, the court may be less inclined to see things Kathryn’s way.
But the guy who’s about to face trial for rape is going to have an uphill battle to convince anyone that he’s the good parent.

Thomas Ravenel Accuses Kathryn Dennis of Exploiting Kids for "Marketability" and Fame
Thomas Ravenel continues to prove that he’s simply the worst.
We doubt anyone familiar with the former Southern Charm lead would argue this point, but please allow us to explain why it must now be emphasized once again…
As previously reported on The Hollywood Gossip, Kathryn Dennis recently filed to amend her ongoing child custody agreement with Ravenel.
The stars are no longer together, but they will forever be parents to a four-year old daughter named Kensie and a nearly three-year old son named Saint.
Dennis filed these papers and asked a judge to grant her full custody of the toddlers after Ravenel was arrested for sexual assault.
Obtained by People Magazine, the documents accuse Ravenel of relying “upon the use of full-time nannies” to care for his kids, while also referencing the pair of sexual assault allegations brought against him.
Dennis also alleges that Ravenel “has drunk alcohol to excess, mixed with prescription drugs, that has caused him to be impaired during periods of time in which he had custody of the children.”
She says plenty more as well.
Dennis claims her ex of exhibited “periods of impulsive and uncontrollable bouts of anger” and “extreme narcissism and anger management problems.”
Moreover, Dennis went after Ravenel’s most recent girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, writing that he encouraged her to “verbally assault and attack” Dennis on the Bravo series, something for which Jacobs has actually apologized.
On November 6, responded to these scathing claims.
He actually filed a counterclaim, strongly denying all of Dennis’ allegations and accusing Kathryn of acting “in bad faith.”
Ravenel doesn’t believe Dennis actually cares about the well-being of her kids or that she really thinks Thomas is a bad influence on them.
Instead, Ravenel writes in his official reply that Dennis filed her complaint “for the purpose of garnering media attention, creating material for her storyline on Southern Charm and ensuring her marketability as a reality TV star.”
Indeed, there’s simply no way Dennis would want to keep her kids away from someone accused by two women of rape, right?
She must have a self-centered motive and simply must be making these claims to advane her own career.
(That second sentence was written with sarcasm, in case you couldn’t tell.)
In his filing, Ravenel allegsd that Dennis’ attempt to seek primary custody was “for the sole and/or primary purpose” of securing her role on the Bravo program and “progressing her storyline as the ‘rehabilitated mother who regains possession of her minor children.’”
(Dennis lost custody of the kids and entered rehab in 2016 after she failed a drug test. She has since earned back 50/50 custody.)
It’s hard to get much more cynical than that.
Ravenel even says that the producers of Southern Charm encouraged Dennis to seek full custody in order to have “dramatic material for next season.”
No one from the network has responded to this charge just yet.
Ravenel is asking the court to issue a restraint prohibiting Dennis from discussing their litigation on the show, on social media and with the press.
He’s also asking the court to prohibit their kids from being filmed or featured on Southern Charm.
Ravenel is saying all of this just days after a South Carolina judge found probable cause for second-degree assault and battery charges against Ravenel stemming from an incident in 2015.
A nanny who worked for the star has said on legal record that Ravenel “corralled” her into his master bedroom at that time, dropped his pants, blocked the door and “proceeded to rip my clothes off.”
She doesn’t explain how, but the nanny says she managed to extricate herself from the situation before anything further took place.
Ravenel has denied this claim and has said he will not return to Southern Charm for Season 6.

Ashley Jacobs: Returning to Southern Charm Without Thomas Ravenel?
Southern Charm is getting a bit of a casting shakeup, since Thomas Ravenel will stand trial for sexual assault.
But what will become of Ashley Jacobs, who was a big enough player last season to be invited to the reunion without Thomas?
She says that she’s reached a decision.
Ashley Jacobs took to Instagram to share some news with her fans and followers.
“After a lot of prayerful consideration, I have decided not to return to Southern Charm next season,” Ashley announced.
That’s a bit of a disappointment — but probably the smart decision.
“Honestly,” she reveals. “I considered filming again.”
Ashley then shares that she thought about it “because I desperately want to tell my side of the story.”
That could mean everything from her behavior last season to why she allegedly kept hanging out with Thomas long after he was accused of sexual assault.
Ashley points the finger at one factor in particular that prevents her from returning to the show.
“But after experiencing how unfair the editing process can be,” Ashley said. “I don’t think I’ll ever have a fair shot.”
It is not uncommon for reality stars to say that bad editing shows them in an unfavorable light.
That is even the excuse that Thomas himself used to explain his departure from the show.
(Bravo has confirmed that they won’t have him back; they were investigating the same allegations that led to Thomas’ arrest)
Ashley thanked her fans: “I appreciate you all following me throughout this journey.”
But RadarOnline‘s source says that Ashley returning to the series was never even an option.
“Ashley was not a cast member,” the insider points out.
She was always there as Thomas’ girlfriend.
Reports said that she wasn’t paid for appearing on the show — except for her role on the reunion special.
“So,” the source explains. “There would be no conversation of her returning or not.”
Another insider accused: “She is not telling the truth.”
As we previously reported, Us Weekly‘s source said something very different.
According to that tabloid, there was absolutely talk of bringing back Ashley.
“They weren’t specific about what her role would be,” the insider said. “Since she doesn’t have a lot of people to film with.”
“They wanted Ashley to work her way back into the friend circle,” the source explained.
The insider admitted: “but there was just no guarantee that that would happen.”
“Of course everyone wants to see Ashley talk to Kathryn,” the source acknowledged.
The source said: “Ashley was in talks with Bravo and the producers.”
That flies in the face of RadarOnline‘s report. Curiously, both tabloids belong to the same parent company.
“But,” the insider said, Ashley “didn’t feel like she could represent herself well enough with the way it was being presented to her.”
That seems to match up with her statement about being concerned about editing.
So, it’s difficult to say whose production source is right or wrong.
However, it may be for the best that Ashley is saying goodbye to the series.
Not only was her relationship with Thomas deeply toxic, but being a reality star did not sit well with her.
Ashley famously lost weight and admitted that she was a nervous wreck from being on television.
Self-care is important, folks. Fame isn’t worth losing your health.

Thomas Ravenel to Stand Trial for Sexual Assault
Thomas Ravenel will have to answer the charge that he sexually assaulted his nanny in 2015.
According to South Carolina news affiliate WCSC, a judge named Stephen Harris determined at a hearing on Monday that the case against Ravenel will take a step toward trial, dealing a pretty significant legal blow to the Southern Charm star.
Ravenel was arrested in September and charged with second-degree assault and battery after the victim claimed he assaulted her inside of his Charleston home about three years ago.
Tdoay’s preliminary hearing (which Ravenel did NOT attend) included graphic testimony from a Charleston police detective.
He stated that photos show scratches on the unnamed victim, which prompted the aforementioned charges to be filed.
On cross examination, Ravenel’s lawyer said there were problems unlocking the accuser’s cell phone.
He also told Judge Harris that this is a case of “he said, she said,” although the victim’s wounds appear to contract that claim.
While Ravenel’s young daughter’s slept in the room next door, the nanny told investigators that Ravenel took off his clothes and put the her hand on his private parts.
He is then accused grabbing her private parts.
“While inside the location, the defendant undressed and made sexual advances on the victim,” according to an affidavit submitted to the court.
It continues:
“The defendant grabbed the victim’s hand and placed it on his penis before attempting to [remove] the victim’s clothing.
“While attempting to remove the victim’s clothing, the victim’s underwire bra cut into her skin and her shirt wrapped around her neck, which caused the victim to struggle to breathe.”
The woman then “crouched down to the ground to try and prevent further assault” before Ravenel allegedly “put his penis in her face,” per to this same document.
At one point, the affadavit goes on, Ravenel “pulled down the victim’s pants and said ‘Show me your pussy."”
Ravenel is a former South Carolina state treasurer and anchored Southern Charm on Bravo for several seasons.
But he dropped out of the series shortly after news of this assault (and another attempted rape) went public.
“In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back,” Ravenel explained at the time of his departure, playing the victim.
The accuser, identified only as Dawn, appeared at Ravenel’s bond hearing last month and said she thinks the crime extends beyond simple assault and battery.
She said at that time that Ravenel’s kids and also hers were “exposed to constant alcohol and drugs.”
Investigators say they have “appropriately time-stamped” photos of all of these injuries to corroborate Dawn’s story.
They also have records of her employment that confirm her time line of events.
Ravenel resigned as state treasurer in 2007 after pleading guilty to a cocaine possession charge.
He has two children with ex Kathryn Dennis: daughter Kensie, 4; and son Saint, 2.
Dennis filed for a modification of custody and visitation after his arrest — we don’t blame her.

Landon Clements Defends Thomas Ravenel After Arrest
We have all witness the rise and fall of Thomas Ravenel.
Though he will never return to Southern Charm and has also been arrested for assault and battery, he still has his defenders.
Former co-star Landon Clements claims that she just can’t imagine him sexually assaulting anyone.
Recently, Southern Charm star Landon Clements attended the Sixth Annual UNICEF Masquerade Ball in downtown Los Angeles.
While there, she spoke to Us Weekly and came to the defense of her disgraced former co-star, Thomas Ravenel.
“I know in my heart that Thomas is a good person,” Landon claims.
That tells a very different story from what most of Thomas’ co-stars and alleged friends have said about him.
Landon continues: “and whatever happened, happened.”
That, at least, is a pretty safe statement to make.
Landon does admit that she doesn’t have any firsthand knowledge about the allegations against him.
“I wasn’t there that night,” she clarifies.
We assume that she’s speaking about the alleged sexual assault of Nanny Dawn, for which he has been arrested.\
To be clear, however, another woman accused him of sexual assault on a different night.
“But,” Landon protests. “I can’t imagine that he would ever hurt anyone.”
It quickly becomes clear that Landon was uncomfortable with discussing Thomas at all.
“Because it is an ongoing court procedure,” Landon says. “I can’t really comment.”
She says this after having already commented, of course.
“And I don’t want to comment,” she continues.
Landon concludes: “I will let the courts take care of it, I suppose.”
Yeah, that’s how it usually works after a creep gets arrested.
In case you’re hazy on the details of the allegations, as Landon appears to be, here is a reminder.
Thomas Ravenel is accused of assaulting his children’s nanny while one of those young children slept nearby.
“While inside the location, the defendant undressed and made sexual advances on the victim,” court documents accuse.

Absolutely horrific.
“The victim [then] crouched down to the ground to try and prevent further assault,” the papers explain.
But the accusations say that “the defendant then put his penis in her face and asked, ‘Do you like big dicks?’”
Obviously, even if your literal favorite thing in the world is large penises, without consent, that’s a terrifying situation.
In her own words, Nanny Dawn has shared that she kept quiet during the assault for fear of waking up Ravenel’s young child, who would be traumatized by seeing it.
On a less horrifying subject, Landon was asked about who keeps in touch with her the most.
“Mostly Shep,” she answers.
Shep Rose is quite the character.
“I mean we’ve been friends for so long, he’s like a brother,” she explains. “It’s like a love-hate relationship always, but you know I still talk to him.”
“He was just in England with a bunch of our friends this summer,” she reveals.
“Whitney and I are still super close,” Landon adds, referring to Whitney Sudler-Smith.
“You know I knew Whitney actually from my ex-husband,” she notes. “Because one of my ex-husband’s best friends went to boarding school with him.”
“So it’s all a very tangled web,” she admits.
A lot of rich people know each other through extended family or schooling. It’s part of how they stay on top.
“Even if I don’t talk to them on a regular basis, I doesn’t mean that I don’t love them,” Landon explains.
“They have a big place in my heart always,” she concludes.
Landon Clements is a kindhearted person, but she seems to be directing that kindness at her friend Thomas and not at his alleged victims.
Sometimes, people don’t show you their worst selves.
Thomas will have his day in court. And it’s worth noting that, unfortunately, sexual assault is very difficult to prove in criminal court.
At the time when our court system was designed, sexual assault had a fairly narrow definition, and women were not full citizens — they were closer to property.
Perhaps, however, #MeToo has shifted the culture enough so that Thomas Ravenel’s court case ends the way that Bill Cosby’s has.
We will see.

Thomas Markle: Filled with Love, Actual Joy Over Daughter"s Pregnancy
Thomas Markle has spoken out for the first time since learning his daughter is pregnant.
As previously reported, someone close to Meghan’s controversial and sort of crappy father claimed a few days ago that Thomas was “absolutely delighted” over the blessed Royal News.
But now we’ve heard it directly from the polarizing man himself.
“I was sitting in line waiting to cross the border [between the U.S. and Mexico, where he lives] when I heard the baby announcement on the car radio,” Thomas explained to the Daily Mail on Sunday.
And how did he feel?
What emotions ran through his body upon discovering that he would be a grandfather?
“The first thing I thought about was holding Meghan in my arms as a newborn 37 years ago,” he said emotionally and profoundly, expounding as follows:
“I thought, ‘My baby is having a baby.’ It was a very proud moment.
“I was filled with love, joy and happiness for both my beautiful daughter and my son-in-law. A new baby is a blessing and I look forward to seeing a little Meghan or a little Harry.”
Thomas, of course, has lamented many times in the past about how his relationship with Meghan is non-existent at this point.
He has complained to the press about a lack of access to his daughter and even talked in detail about how unfair it will be for Meghan to keep him from his grandchild, presuming this is what will happen down the line.
The Duchess, for her part, has never said such a thing.
Or much of anything at all when it comes to her dad.
Thomas has lived a quiet and reclusive life in Mexico for years.
He was invited to the Royal Wedding in May, but bowed out at the last minute due to health problems and due to his embarrassment over paying members of the paparazzi to snap pictures of him.
The relationship between father and child has been VERY strained ever since.
According to an Us Weekly source, Meghan did not tell Thomas about the pregnancy ahead of the public announcement last Monday.
“He found out the same time as the rest of the world,” this insider says.
Kensington Palace alerted everyone to the pregnancy via an announcement that reads:
Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.
Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.
On a tour of Australia in the days after this announcement, Harry and Meghan both made references to the forthcoming baby.
We don’t yet know if it will be a boy or a girl.
But we’ve heard he or she is due to be born in early May.
“I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me,” Thomas tells The Mail, adding of how he did or did not find out:
“Me not getting a call is most likely a misunderstanding about my two back-to-back heart attacks and me missing the wedding. There has been so much misinformation and lies that perhaps made them mistrust me.”
In conclusion, he had only kind things to say about Meghan and her journey to come:
“I wasn’t surprised by the baby announcement. Meghan loves children and she and Harry have been talking about wanting a family from the start. I’m delighted for them both.
“She’s always been wonderful with children and most of her friends have families so she’s used to being around kids.
“She will make a fantastic mother.”

Ashley Jacobs Keeps Hanging Out with Alleged Rapist Thomas Ravenel
According to a couple of disturbing recent reports, Thomas Ravenel does not know how to take “NO” for an answer.
Similarly, it now seems as if Ashley Jacobs simply can’t bring herself to say “NO” to Thomas Ravenel.
Allow us to explain…
As loyal Southern Charm fans know well, Jacobs and Ravenel dated throughout most of Season 5.
They were a very serious couple for several months, but the relationship seemingly came to an end in mid-August.
Jacobs didn’t get into specifics upon confirming this news, but she did say the following on social media:
“I don’t want to comment but there are just some things I’m trying to handle privately.
“Before I say too much, I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas. I’ll always care about him.”
So at least Jacobs was up front about her feelings, even when it appeared as if the romance was over for good.
For whatever reason, however, Jacobs has been unable to quit Ravenel.
Just a month after the aforementioned break-up, sources wrote that the reality stars had gotten back together, having hunkered down for an entire weekend in the middle of Hurricane Florence.
We guess natural disasters can lead to unexpected developments in many different ways.
But it’s worth mentioning at this point that Ravenel has straight up been accused of rape by two different women.
A former nanny is on record as saying Ravenel threw her on a bed and forced himself upon her (while his infant daughter slept in the next room); while the daughter of a woman with whom Ravenel went on a date in 2015 has said the same thing about her mom.
The accusations are damning.
Ravenel has denied each allegation, but he was actually arrested on a charge of assault and battery in relation to the nanny’s charge just last month.
Still, none of this seems to matter to Jacobs.
This past weekend, onlookers spotted Jacobs and Ravenel at dinner at Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan Island in Charleston, South Carolina.
Does this mean the pair is gettng it back on for certain? No.
However, reports indicate that Ravenel put his arm around his ex while they sat with another couple at the bar.
That makes things sound fairly romantic, no?
As for the time before this when Jacobs and Ravenel were seen together in a similar setting, a source told People Magazine:
“They looked like they were having a great time. If they are still split, you never would have known, but at the same time they weren’t showing any PDA or anything.
“They looked friendly, like friends having a good time out together.”
Ravenel, meanwhile, was granted a $ 20,000 personal recognizance bond after her arrest and was ordered to turn in his passport, avoid contact with the victim and not leave South Carolina.
Following the news, Bravo confirmed that Ravenel will not be returning as a cast member for season 6.
But he had previously beaten the network to that punch, playing the victim on Twitter and writing:
I’m not doing the show anymore.

Thomas Ravenel Accused of Naked Assault on Ex-Nanny
We have an update on Tuesday’s arrest of former Southern Charm lead Thomas Ravenel.
And it’s a very ugly update.
The ex-Bravo star was taken into custody this morning on charges of second degree assault and battery.
At the time of the arrest, we were uncertain just why Ravenel had been booked by Charleston police, but we’ve now learned the a warrant had been issued regarding an alleged incident in 2015.
We’ve actually reported on this incident previously.
Back in May, a former nanny named Dawn accused Ravenel of attempted rape, outlining for People Magazine the way in which Ravenel forced himself on her in his bedroom… while his infant daughter slept just feet away next door.
According to the official arrest affidavit, the attack took place inside Ravenel’s home on Charlotte Street in Charleston.
“While inside the location, the defendant undressed and made sexual advances on the victim,” this legal document reads.
It continues:
“The defendant grabbed the victim’s hand and placed it on his penis before attempting to removed the victim’s clothing.
“While attempting to remove the victim’s clothing, the victim’s underwire bra cut into her skin and her shirt wrapped around her neck, which caused the victim to struggle to breathe.”
The affadavit goes on, in lurid detail, stating that Ravenel then “pulled down the victim’s pants and said ‘Show me your pussy."”
He then “began grabbing the victim’s vagina.”
As a result, the nanny “crouched down to the ground to try and prevent further assault [and] the defendant then put his penis in her face and asked, ‘Do you like big dicks?’”
For the record, before we go any further, the victim is NOT named in the document.
We are just making an assumption that she is the same nanny who, as cited above, reported a very similar crime had taken place at her expense.
After escaping the assault, the woman called her ex-husband and sister and told them of the inciden… fled the scene … and notified several family members of the incident,” the affidavit states.
“Photographs were then taken immediately of the injures to her neck and chest.”
Earlier that month, another woman named Ashley Perkins alleged that Ravenel sexually assaulted her mother, Debbie Holloway Perkins, after the two went on a date and then ended up back at Ravenel’s home.
The star’s lawyer denied the allegations made by Perkins at the time.
The Charleston police department has said that Ravenel surrendered himself to authorities just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
Bravo, meanwhile, confirmed to the press that the former politician, who has been featured on Southern Charm since season 1 in 2014, would not return for season 6.
Ravenel previously announced he was done with the show in August, claiming he was a victim of editing and and actually writing:
In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.
This guy sucks.

Thomas Ravenel Hastily Retracts Ashley Jacobs Cheating Claims!
Over the weekend, Thomas Ravenel accused Ashley Jacobs of having cheated on him during their relationship. He didn’t provide any details — he just made the claim.
Ashley denied cheating in a public statement, essentially saying that Thomas was just upset and wanted to lash out.
Now, Thomas is walking back his words — with very good reason.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Thomas writes: “I have no information that Ashley Jacobs ever cheated on me.”
“In fact as far as I know she has always been true and faithful,” Thomas affirms.
Thomas adds that this was true “especially during the really dark times.”
One assumes that he is referring to the multiple accusations of sexual assault that he is facing.
Thomas admits: “She didn’t deserve my insinuations to the contrary.”
RadarOnline reports that Ashley Jacobs threatened legal action over Thomas’ accusatory tweets.
“Ashley was so upset that Thomas accused her of cheating,” an insider tells the tabloid.
It’s true that he didn’t spell out his accusations, but the source says that “even if it wasn’t by name, everyone knows it was about her.”
Yep.
In fact, it’s difficult to read his words as anything else but an accusations that Ashley was screwing around with other dudes during their relationship.
The insider says that “she called his attorney super upset about what he wrote.”
We would imagine so. Ashley’s had enough trouble dating after Thomas as it is.
(To be fair, that’s probably because a lot of people saw her vicious verbal attacks on Southern Charm and don’t want that in their lives)
It’s not clear what she said to the attorney, but apparently it worked, “and Thomas quickly put up the new statement.”
Well, at least that is taken care of.
In case you’ve forgotten Thomas’ words from the weekend, here are his insinuations:
“Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn,” he wrote. “I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back.”
On its own, that’s super vague. Unfortunately, he elaborated.
“After 30 years,” Thomas continued. “I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune:”
He reminds followers of the lyrics: “If she would have been faithful / if she could have been true / then I would have been cheated / I would have never known real love.”
We can’t confirm the report that Ashley made a call to Thomas’ attorney, so it’s always possible that Thomas simply decided to retract those words on his own.
According to a number of his fellow Southern Charm stars, Thomas behaves like a decent guy most of the time.
They — and others — have said that his gentlemanly behavior can sometimes give way and reveal someone with an unkind or even frightening temperament
The relationship between Ashley and Thomas was unnerving to a number of people, who despite Ashley’s extremely hostile behavior found themselves worried that she was in a toxic relationship.
Hopefully, she can move ahead, work on her behavior, and, in time, leave this chapter of her life behind her.

Thomas Ravenel Basically Accuses Ashley Jacobs of Cheating
Thomas Ravenel does not want your pity.
But, if you’re a woman, he very much does want you to give him a call.
The veteran Southern Charm star took to Twitter over the weekend in order to make one accusation and one offer.
First, the accusation:
Ravenel – who quit the aforementioned Bravo series this month amidst allegations of rape by two women – wrote on his personal account that he’s totally fine with Ashley Jacobs ending their relationship a couple weeks ago.
For what reason?
Because Ravenel hints strongly that Jacobs cheated on him.
Today, my personal life just took a huge upward turn,” Thomas Tweeted on Saturday, explaining why as follows:
“I finally have more than enough information to move forward without any doubt or hesitation and I’ll never look back.”
How ominous sounding, right?
The assumption around the Internet is that Ravenel is confirming that he has gathered the necessary intel to prve that Jacobs was sleeping with other men behind his back.
That’s why he can finally “move forward” confidently and that’s why he replied to a follower asking if he were single by writing:
“And ready to mingle!”
Ravenel also sent a second Tweet that cited the Chicago song “If She Would Have Been Faithful,” suggesting that Jacobs had been untrue, writing:
“After 30 years I finally understand the lyrics from that wonderful Chicago tune:
“If she would have been faithful, if she could have been true, then I would have been cheated, I would have never known real love.”
Jacobs – who dated Ravenel for two years and whose feud with his two-time baby mama, Kathryn Dennis, drove much of Season 5 – broke the break-up news to her own social media followers back in mid-August.
Fighting off tears in a video, Jacobs said “I love Thomas and I’ll always love Thomas. I’ll always care about him.”
That’s sweet and all, but as we noted above:
RAVENEL HAS BEEN ACCUSED OF RAPE!
A former housekeeper and a woman with whom Ravenel went on a date in 2015 have both said he assaulted them sexually.
This does not mean he’s guilty, we know.
But it’s worth emphasizing.
The very rich Charleston resident has denied these accusation, while resigning from Souther Charm and blaming his portrayal on that series for his sullied reputation.
“I’m not doing the show anymore,” Ravenel said upon announcing his departure, adding:
“In the contract they have the right to fictionalize your story. They took advantage of me. I decided I’ve got too much to lose and informed them I’m not coming back.”
As for Jacobs?
“I hope the best for her … I do feel a bit sad now,” he Tweeted over the weekend.
“But now I know that just around the corner, down the street, around the block, something magical is going to happen … perhaps real love.”
Perhaps.
Or maybe jail time for those aforementioned rape allegations.
Ravenel said he is now seeking “a woman with whom the trust, faith, respect and love is immovable,” adding that he felt he never got that from Jacobs.
Will Ashley return to Southern Charm for Season 6? It remains unclear.
But she attempted to make amends with Dennis via a lengthy Instagram apology last week.
Might she next write one to Thomas?
