Amy Duggar Shades Family Members for Having Kids Too Soon
The last time we wrote about Amy Duggar, we said that her famous family members had just recently allowed her back into their lives.
Such a re-entrance may have been short-lived, however.
Why do we say this?
Because Amy has come out with some serious fire for her supposed loved ones!
Often considered the black sheep of her strict and conservative family, Amy once posed nude on Twitter.
Even worse in the eyes of her cousins, aunts and uncles, Amy has been married for three years — and she has no kids!
Zero. Zilch. None at all.
While this may seem impossible to believe for anyone with the last name Duggar, Amy tells Radar Online that she has a simple explanation for why she and husband Dillon have decided to wait.
“I didn’t want to limit myself by just getting pregnant right off the bat and not exploring the rest of what my life could be,” Duggar says simply.
At least it sounds simple to us.
Plenty of husbands and wives want to travel a bit or just enjoy each other’s company for awhile before their world gets taken over by children.
It’s a reasonable position for anyone to take. Anyone not named Duggar, that is.
As regular Hollywood Gossip readers surely know well, Jinger Duggar, Joy-Anna Duggar and Kendra Duggar ALL gave birth to their first child in 2018.
They each got pregnant basically as soon as they tied the knot and were permitted, per family rules, to engage in intercourse with their significant others.
Duggar females basically exist simply to get married and then to procreate as often as possible.
But Amy is focused on her new clothing boutique at the moment and isn’t desperate to become a mother.
It will almost definitely happen at some point; she just doesn’t understand the immediacy.
“Babies are on our brain for sure,” Amy says of her and her husband.
But she wants to make sure her professional life is in order first and that she is as ready as one can be to take the journey to motherhood before actually doing so.
What a crazy concept, right?!?
“I want to be settled. I think it’s boutique, and then a baby,” said the former reality star, explaining how she wants to successfully launch her business before dedicating herself to a tiny human being.
She also wants to make sure her relationship can handle it.
Having a baby is a really big deal!
It can destroy a marriage if two people are not on the same page.
“I want to have this really great foundation with my husband so that when my baby turns 18 years old, I’m not learning how to love my husband all over again,” says Amy.
We hate to break it to you, Amy, but such logic likely just got you kicked out of the family again.
We’re guessing you’re cool with that, though.

Duggar Family Members: Who Will Actually Break Free?
The notion of Duggar family members “breaking free” has been a topic of discussion for quite some time inside fan circles.
But will it actually happen, and who will be the one to do it? Moreover, what does it even mean to break free in their case?
Below, THG staff writers break down who they believe is most likely to escape the cultural shackles of the famous TLC family.
Some of our selections and reasons behind them may surprise you … or in the case of one recently-married Duggar, probably not.
JILL DILLARD by Emily Trainham
When you think about which Duggar might be most likely to break free from the chains of that oppressive, creepy, molester-friendly family, Jill may not be the first person that comes to mind.
But if you just think about it for a minute, it’ll all come together.
For one, Jill’s been rebelling quite a bit against Duggar tradition lately. Like, the girl wore shorts this summer. Ones cut above the knee, even.
She’s also been photographed in an actual swimsuit instead of the traditional Duggar swimsack. She’s practically a stripper now by Jim Bob’s standards.
For two – and this is the real reason we see Jill breaking free – have you been keeping up with the shenanigans of Derick Dillard?
The way he’s going, we imagine he’ll be officially starting his own cult soon, and she’ll be too busy mindlessly supporting her husband and insisting everything is fine to remain an active member of the family.
This transition has already started, really, since Derick got himself and Jill fired from Counting On.
Since then, they’ve appeared to spend less and less time with the rest of the Duggars, for obvious reasons.
As such, it’s easy to imagine that soon they’ll cut ties completely.
After all, bashing transgender people, begging fans for money, and gallivanting around impoverished countries in an attempt to look like decent people doesn’t leave much time for extended family!
So will Jill leave the rest of the Duggars in some inspiring, badass way?
Nah. But trust, she’s on her way out.
JOSIAH DUGGAR by Tyler Johnson
When a young man gets married, folks often talk about him “settling down.”
But when Josiah Duggar married Lauren Swanson earlier this month, it may have been the beginning of his effort to break free from the constraints that have held him down so long.
For years, Josiah has been regarded as one of the most rebellious members of the Duggar clan.
As long as he was living under Jim Bob and Michelle’s roof, however, there were limits on how much he could flout their belief system.
But for the Duggars, getting married is second only to cranking out kids in terms of milestones that mark one’s passage into adulthood.
Certain freedoms are afforded to those who have carried have taken steps toward their God-given duty to sire a small army.
That’s why Jinger Duggar is allowed to wear pants and move to a different state, while her older sister Jana is forced to do her gardening in a floor-length denim skirt.
For the most part, acts of rebellion by married Duggars have been exceedingly mild.
But those who know Josiah best say he can’t wait to prove to the world that he’s his own man.
Our own Duggar insider has called Josiah “the most likely to break out” and defy his overbearing father.
My guess is that now that Josiah has found himself a wife, it won’t be long before he begins to assert his independence.
He’ll probably start with something rather subtle, a small tattoo of his favorite Bible verse, but even that will be enough to give Jim Bob conniptions. And I’m sure it will all be incredibly fun to watch.
JINGER VUOLO by Free Britney
Sometimes, the most obvious answer isn’t the best. Sometimes conventional wisdom needs to be challenged and paradigms reexamined.
Not here. It’s always been Jinger and always will be.
Card-carrying members of Duggar Nation have known this for years. She’s been the family rebel since the concept was a mere pipe dream.
Sensing her independent streak, fans started an online movement, Free Jinger. (Our only regret is that there is no sister site Free Jana.)
Jinger hasn’t and will probably never throw two middle fingers in Jim Bob’s face or flaunt her freedom in ways that will disrespect him.
But make no mistake, she is her own woman. By design or serendipity, she has taken heed – with an assist from her husband, Jeremy.
Let Jinger Be Jinger. That might as well be Jeremy’s mantra, as he’s helped her push back against Duggar norms from the day they met.
Vuolo is former pro soccer player from the Northeast, and a pastor with less stringent lifestyle views (and a Calvinist, to Jim Bob’s dismay).
Our point? The proof is in the pudding, honestly.
Since marrying him, Jinger Duggar moved out of state, waited over a year to get pregnant, and started wearing whatever she wants.
Enough said.
JASON DUGGAR by Simon Delott
If you’re only a casual Duggars fan, you might be shuffling through the different Duggar offspring in your mind, trying to remember which one is Jason.
Jason, folks, only turned 18 in April. He is not yet married.
As of early 2017, he co-owns a house with his father (though he is of course not allowed to live there, as an adult living independently might make independent choices).
He also wants to be a videographer. This is why I’m just optimistic enough to say that Jason has a shot at breaking free.
If he’s serious about this calling, the Duggars might actually let him receive a real education in the matter.
Even if they don’t send him off to college (where he might encounter different people and new ideas, the horror!), there is reason for hope.
Just the process of learning videography in any setting aside from a tech room at a megachurch could broaden his horizons.
If he’s really passionate about this, then once he’s married, he and his obedient, Jim Bob-approved Handmaid’s Tale reenactor of a wife could move anywhere to pursue his career.
And even if Jason focuses exclusively on Christian organizations and Christian video projects, he could still realize that there’s more to the world than the ideological prison in which Jim Bob and Michelle kept him for the first two decades of his life.
Be free, Jason. Be free.

Richest Members of the Kardashian Clan: Ranked! (And Kim"s NOT Number 1!)
Were it not for the seminal (tee-hee) cinematic masterpiece known as the Kim Kardashian sex tape, there would be no Kardashian media empire to speak of.
A decade after the film"s release, however, Kim is no longer the most bankable member of America"s second-most famous family of fame-obsessed egomaniacs.

Paris Jackson Claps Back at Family Members Who Think She"s Going to Die
While Paris Jackson"s fans have been thrilled to see her locking lips with Cara Delevingne and generally living her best life, some people have been worried.
In fact, a report came out claiming that Paris" own family fears that her behavior is putting her in danger and even that her premature death is imminent.
Now Paris has recorded a video, and she"s clapping back at her own family members.
So, remember that time that Paris Jackson nearly plummeted to her death?
We pointed out that she was careful to very deliberately not fall from the roof, but apparently the image of that video, which Paris herself elected to share, is haunting her loved ones.
Page Six reports that Paris Jackson"s family fears for her life.
They even compare her near-tragedy to the time that Michael Jackson dangled baby Blanket from a window.
"But this is worse than that because I still think Michael had control of Blanket and they weren’t nearly as high up as Paris is in this video."
Even though Paris was totally okay, it has people worried that she"s in a self-destructive spiral. Some might say that she"s just … 20.
"She’s lost it. She really has."
The relative goes on to say:
"Everyone saw that video, and even though we all knew that she’s now OK, watching it was so traumatic that nobody wants to show it to either Katherine or Joe."
Well, not all celebrities look at stories about themselves.
And even the stars who do look into what people are saying about them don"t always comment on it publicly.
But Paris Jackson saw it. (She even reveals, in the video, how she saw it)
"So apparently people think I’m about to die."
She states that pretty matter-of-factly in this video, which was recorded while she was in a car with a friend.
"My therapist texted me about it laughing though, so that’s good."
We"re glad that she has such a good relationship with her therapist.
Paris continued in a second video (also below), saying:
"So I guess to the family members that are talking to all of these news outlets saying they’re worried for me:"
And she has a serious question for family members who would rather be a source than speak to their own relative.
"When is the last time you called me?"
Oh. That"s a good question.
Paris isn"t done.
And she even has an example of someone who knows her well enough to not be concerned.
"Prince isn’t worried. Why? Because we talk all the time. We hang out."
By Prince, she of course means Prince Jackson, her brother.
"If you’re worried about me, call me."
That sounds like good advice.
There"s no telling whether or not someone will take her up on that.
For one thing … no one wants to admit to having been the source that spoke out.
Paris Jackson is a sweetheart and she"s just a very nice person. She"s an environmentalist and she"s deeply spiritual.
On top of being a very free spirit, she is 20 years old. Those of us who are risk-averse may cringe at the idea of getting anywhere close to a rooftop"s edge, but Paris was careful. She trusts herself.
It seems a little much to blow one incident out of proportion … especially behind Paris" back like that.
That"s not how families are supposed to treat each other, right?

Duggar Family Shame: Church Members Share Shocking Tales of Abuse
Anyone who’s regularly watched the family’s reality shows knows that the Duggars are a deeply religious lot.
But even the most diehard Duggar fans may not know the details of the belief system that Jim Bob and Michelle have imparted to their children.
The Duggars are Independent Baptists, but they’re also members of the Institute in Basic Life Principles and the Advanced Training Institute, both founded by controversial pastor and former personal guru of the Duggars, Bill Gothard.
Back in 2015, the Josh Duggar sex scandal shined some light on the institute’s teachings and more scandalous practices.
Not only did the organization assist Josh and his parents in evading prosecution, it also justified his misconduct with homeschooling curriculum that places the blame for sexual assault squarely on the victim.
Prior to Gothard resigning in disgrace after being accused of sexual misconduct by more than 50 former employees, he presided over the organization for decades, and – according to many former members – was directly or indirectly involved in countless acts of systemized sexual assault.
Recent revelations about the Duggars and the rise of the #MeToo movement have emboldened several alleged victims to come forward with shocking accounts of the abuse they suffered under Gothard’s watchful eye.
As reported by In Touch Weekly, an anonymous Reddit used was recently at the center of one of the sites “ask me anything” or AMA sessions.
And what she had to say about her time as a member of the IBLP-ATI is likely to shock even the most strident Duggar defenders.
“I was part of a fundamentalist Christian cult known as ATI/IBLP,” the user began.
“Recent scandals have hit the news about the cult leader Bill Gothard when over 50 women came forward with allegations that he sexually harassed them. But that’s only scratching the surface.”
“Let me tell you my scariest experience — and just keep in mind, I’m far from the only one,” she continued.
“First off, throughout my childhood, my father and sisters abused me sexually. Since the cult taught a strict familial hierarchy, with the father being top dog, then mother, then children in order of birth, as the youngest I was bottom of the totem pole.
“My father would twist Bible verses to justify rape, death threats, and more. Because ATI is a homeschool cult, it was really handy to cover up the abuse from any prying eyes.
“My home was a prison for 11 years until he died of a massive heart attack. And that’s not even the scariest experience.”
The user went on to explain how the abuse worsened as a result of her mother’s continued involvement with the IBLP.
“Fast forward two years. I’m 13, with a mother who’s frantically fixated on me being a ‘troubled child’ because 1. I dared resist my father’s advances and argue against the abuse I was suffering, gaining me the reputation of ‘rebellious,’ 2. I’m severely depressed because I’m a freaking rape victim and depression is considered sin, and 3. I asked too many questions as to WHY we believed the things we believed —you don’t ask questions, needless to say.”
She then describes being shipped off to Oklahoma without warning and enrolled in the IBLP’s “Log Cabin” program, which is designed to “retrain” resistant adolescents.
“All I know is I’m about to move to Oklahoma for a while to be fixed by ‘nice counselors’ because I’m a dirty sinner,” she writes.
“For the next two years, I am tortured, brainwashed, starved, sleep-deprived, threatened with a shotgun, punished, humiliated, interrogated, and terrorized.
“I lose 40 pounds in the first month or two. They take me off my medications (believing it is wrong to take them) cold turkey; I exhibit severe symptoms of withdrawal and they go ignored.
“I am worked grueling hours, sent on aimless hikes and marches, scrubbing floors on my hands and knees until my knuckles are cracked and bleeding from the bleach, punished with hard labor until I’m near fainting,” she adds.
“They had fun coming up with new and strange ‘punishments.’”
Through it all, the victim says, she was so brainwashed she didn’t fully realize that those who imprisoned her were engaging in the most egregious forms of abuse.
It wasn’t until years later that she began to become aware that something was deeply wrong with the religion she had been raised in.
“There really wasn’t one concrete ‘oh s–t’ moment,” she explains.
“But the first time I remember thinking ‘this is BS’ was how often people would be ‘sentenced’ to hell for the most trivial reasons. Everything from an impure thought to cursing to sleeping in late.”
Amazingly, despite the high-profile nature of their lives and the zeal with which they discuss their beliefs, the Duggars have managed to avoid commenting on their continued involvement with the IBLP-ATI.
That may prove increasingly difficult as time goes on.
Or the family’s legion of devoted fans may prove willing to continue turning a blind eye to the rampant abuse within the organization.

Mark Salling Suicide: Glee Stars, Crew Members React
As previously reported, Mark Salling is dead at the age of 35.
The former Glee star, who rose to fame as the character of Noah Puckerman on this Fox comedy, appears to have committed suicide.
His body was found hanging from a tree in the woods near Salling’s home on Tuesday.
According to TMZ, authorities have not tracked down a suicide note, but those familiar with Salling’s situation can imagine why he chose to take his own life:
The actor pleaded guilty in October of 2016 to child pornography charges and was facing many years in prison.
His sentencing was set to take place in March.
It had also been reported that just prior to accepting a deal with prosecutors around that time, Salling tried to slit his wrists.
In response to this tragedy, Salling’s former Glee co-stars and some crew members who worked with him on that popular series have spoken out on what transpired.
Many of them referenced both Salling’s death and the horrible allegations to which he confessed in court.
For example, producer Tim Davis Tweeted the following:
“Today we lost another #Glee cast member.
“Yes, he committed crimes against children. Yes, it’s horrific. But #MarkSalling was a broken man, no doubt an abuse victim himself.
“I loved Mark, and am sad when I consider the devastation of his parents. PLEASE withhold your cruel comments.”
Jane Lynch then went ahead and retweeted Davis’ second statement, which reads as follows:
“Let me be clear. Having compassion for #MarkSalling in no way minimizes his crimes, nor does it minimize the pain and devastation of the victims of those crimes.
“I’m just saying stop adding to his family’s pain. This was their son. If you’re without sin, feel free to cast stones.”
Matthew Morrison, meanwhile, shared an Instagram photo of himself posing with Salling and Cory Monteith, the latter of whim died in July of 2013 from a drug overdose.
Jenna Ushkowitz commented on the post with a heart emoji.
Widely respected director Paris Barclay also took to Twitter to react to the very unfortunate news.
“It’s a painful loss, again,” he tweeted alongside a picture of Salling and Monteith, adding:
“Two young actors, lost too soon. #RIP #marksalling.”
Iqbal Theba, who portrayed Principal Figgins on the Emmy-winning musical, simply Tweeted: “Oh Mark.”
Cinematographer Joaquin Sedillo Tweeted: “Devistating… Suicide is never the answer.”
Salling starred on Glee from 2009 from 2015, playing a high school student referred to by the nickname “Puck.”
He was best friends with the character played by Monteith, a seemingly tough football player who initially expressed disdain for the glee club, only to eventually reveal a much softer side and an impressive singing voice.
Wrote actor Finneas O’Connell in response to the suicide, taking a somewhat different approach from those who were close to Salling:
“I met Mark Salling Once when we were filming the final episode of Glee together. I didn’t know him at all and I won’t pretend I did.
“It’s been a horrifying thing these past two years finding out about the crimes he’s committed. I don’t feel sorry for him. Only sorry for his fans.”
This is what Salling’s attorney said the public yesterday, shortly after news of Salling’s death went viral:
I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning.
Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment.
He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother.
The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected.

Though little Bentley obviously had some fun with his mom, he also spent some holiday time with his father, Ryan, and his stepmom, Mackenzie. Who, by the way, is just like 11 years older than him. Weird!

Amber recently opened up about how her depression kept her from seeing her daughter, Leah, for months, but it looks like they were able to spend some quality time together for Christmas!
5. Meanwhile in Michigan …
Catelynn is still in rehab, but Tyler was able to make their daughter’s Christmas special anyway!
