Teen Mom OG Recap: Naked and Unafraid (of Getting Axed)
This week on Teen Mom OG, Maci trained for a new reality show, Amber prepared her nursery, and Gary received paternity test results.
Meanwhile, Tyler struggled with life as a single, working parent, and oh, right, Farrah Abraham got fired after a blowup with producers.
Months of rumors, sneak peeks, and unhinged rants at MTV later, Farrah finally squared off with producer Morgan Freeman last night.
The Backdoor Teen Mom alum was told that she treats the staff terribly, and that her adult film dealings are also a problem for MTV.
Farrah, of course, recently starred in a live stream sex show for CamSoda in addition to her other business and TV pursuits.
“You have little empathy and compassion for people,” Morgan told her, laying out the terms for Farrah’s inclusion in the show.
It’s his way or the highway, he said. Her response?
Hours after their conversation, Farrah called Morgan to say that she didn’t have to make a decision, as he instructed her earlier.
If Teen Mom OG wants her gone for her participation in live sex shows, then there’s nothing she can do about it, Abraham said.
Yes, she’s really going to die on this hill.
She also told Morgan that he would be hearing from her lawyer, which sounded like typical Farrah word salad nonsense but wasn’t.
Farrah is suing Viacom for $ 5 million, citing wrongful termination. Whether she has a case or not is unclear, but she’s serious.
Elsewhere, Maci was preparing to film the hit Discovery series Naked & Afraid, in which people compete to survive in the wild.
If you’re not familiar with that great program, contestants are dropped off in the middle of nowhere with no food or resources.
It is very scary. And also nude.
Pretty funny that Maci is getting back-ass naked for another entertainment pursuit on the same night Farrah got fired for that.
We know it’s not the same thing as Farrah’s cam girl live stream sex show, but still, there’s some hilarious irony in there.

In addition to “practicing” for the show (we bet Taylor likes that), she pondered how Bentley’s custody arrangement will be handled.
Following Catelynn‘s trip to rehab, Tyler struggled to take care of Nova and the increasing demands of running his business.
The single parent hustle is tough.
Fortunately, Cate is doing a lot better in rehab, at least for the time being, and Nova loved seeing her mom on a FaceTime call.
In Indiana, the pregnant Amber Portwood was busy decorating her baby’s nursery on Teen Mom OG Season 5 Episode 14.
Meanwhile, in other baby news nearby, we learned that Jody is not Gary Shirley’s father, and both of them were emotional.
His mom, however, seemed resigned to this possibility, telling Gary that his father could only be one other (unnamed) man.
Jody seemed most devastated of all.
Imagine learning something shocking and so unexpected after SO long that completely changed how you viewed yourself.
Your entire life. Your own family.
Still, it’s not like they won’t be part of each other’s lives anymore. It will just take time for this to resonate and be processed.
We just hope Kristina – and to a degree, Amber – are there to support Gary during the difficult emotional times yet to come.
He’s going to need them.

Derick Dillard: Officially Axed by TLC Over Transgender Comments
Derick Dillard is persona non grata at TLC.
The network has gone ahead and made this official.
Back in August, the 28-year old husband of Jill Duggar made headlines when he attacked 17-year old transgender Jazz Jennings, who, like Derick’s wife and her family, has a show on TLC.
Seemingly unprompted by anything other than the fact that Jennings stars on I Am Jazz, Dillard wrote on Instagram at the time:
“What an oxymoron… a ‘reality’ show which follows a non-reality. ‘Transgender’ is a myth. Gender is not fluid; it’s ordained by God.”
Jennings mostly took the high road in response, labeling Dillard a cyberbully and saying that she’s unfortunately accustomed to remarks from people such as him.
Fast forward to late last week and Derick was at it again, writing the following on Twitter:
I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child.
It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way.
Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on TV these days.
Ah yes, the classing “nothing against” the person whose lifestyle one thinks is sinful and shameful.
Derick added that “never bullied anyone,” but “just said I didn’t agree with what is being propagated on TV” and is “expressing my view of what should be treated as reality; if I say I feel like I am Nepali, that doesn’t make me so.”
In response to this most recent attack Jazz did not mention Derick by name.
But tweeted on Saturday:
“In the face of constant ignorance and hatred I prefer to disregard negative opinions and continue moving forward with love.”
TLC, meanwhile, was not as even-handed in its latest statement.
On its official Twitter account, the cable network wrote this:
We want to let our viewers know that Derick Dillard has not participated in Counting On for months and the network has no plans to feature him in the future.
We want to reiterate that Derick’s personal statements do not reflect the views of the network.
TLC is proud to share the story of Jazz Jennings and her family and will continue to do so.
Some Duggar/Dillard fans, naturally, have fired back, claiming Derick is simply exercising his right to “free speech.”
Which is true. He’s not about to be imprisoned for his view.
But the right to free speech doesn’t mean one can say absolutely anything without any consequences.
The general future of Counting On remains unclear.
There has been chatter of late that the series may not return for a new season, largely due to Dillard’s ongoing controversial comments.

Louis C.K.: Axed by HBO, Slammed by Stars Everywhere
Louis C.K has made a living for years as a stand-up comic.
But the allegations made against the star this week by five women are the opposite of funny.
As previously detailed, a handful of alleged victims spoke to the New York Times yesterday and claimed that C.K. openly masturbated in front of them.
Rumors of the comedian’s inappropriate sexual actions had circulated online for years prior to this bombshell report.
Chicago comedy tandem Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov finally confirmed the chatter, however, stating that C.K. invited them up to his hotel room in 2002 for a drink while they were at a comedy festival in Aspen, Colorado.
He then asked the women if he could take his penis out.
They just sat there, awkwardly laughing and acting understandably confused over the request.
And then, Goodman said. “he proceeded to take all of his clothes off, and get completely naked, and started masturbating.”
In the same article, comedian Abby Schachner said she could hear C.K. pleasuring himself over the phone during a conversation in 2003… while actress Rebecca Corry said she rejected C.K.’s request to jerk off in front of her two years later.
In response to the accusations, C.K. called off a Thursday appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
Moreover, the Thursday night premiere of his new movie, I Love You, Daddy, was canceled by the film’s production company, The Orchard.
Said this company in a statement:
“In light of the allegations concerning Louis C.K. referenced in today’s New York Times, we are canceling tonight’s premiere of I Love You, Daddy.
“There is never a place for the behavior detailed in these allegations.
“As a result, we are giving careful consideration to the timing and release of the film and continuing to review the situation.”
And now, more fallout for C.K.
HBO announced in a statement that the star would no longer be part of its Night of Too Many Stars autism benefit that is scheduled to air live on Saturday night.
In addition, the cable network will remove his past projects from its on-demand services.
As for FX? Which has worked closely with C.K. for years on his Emmy-nominated series Louie?
In its own statement on Thursday, the network said it will launch an investigation, while adding that no allegations of misconduct by the comedian had been reported to executives at FX.
“We are obviously very troubled by the allegations about Louis C.K. published in The New York Times today,” reads this statement.
It continues:
“The network has received no allegations of misconduct by Louis C.K. related to any of our 5 shows produced together over the past 8 years.
“FX Networks and FXP take all necessary actions to protect our employees and thoroughly investigate any allegations of misconduct within our workplace.
“That said, the matter is currently under review.”
Elsewhere, as you can see above, celebrities from all industries have come forward and slammed C.K.
“I had a feeling most men didnt realize how prevalent it is. It’s very frightening and disorienting when it happens,” Tweeted Debra Messing.
C.K. has not yet responded to these allegations.

Kathy Griffin: Axed from Ad Campaign Due to Bloody Donald Trump Photo
The fallout has only just begun for Kathy Griffin.
On Tuesday night, the unfunny comedian had the very unfunny idea to share a video in which she pretends to behead the sitting President of the United States.
And it did not go as she apparently (somehow) believed it would.
Along with the following footage, which she posted on Twitter, Griffin hurled Donald Trump’s words back at him as a caption, writing yesterday:
“there was blood coming out of his eyes, blood coming out of his…wherever.”
This was a callback to what Trump said about Megyn Kelly followed a Republican Presidential debate in 2016, and Griffin likely thought she was being hilarious by using it in such a different context.
But all sane-minded individuals have disagreed with her.
With both Democrats and Republicans slamming the Z-Lister for being vile, inappropriate, disgusting and every other negative adjective in the book, Griffin issued an apology a few hours after this video went live.
It didn’t mince words and it appeared to be from the heart.
“I sincerely apologize,” she said as a mea culpa, adding:
“I am just now seeing the reaction of these images. … I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people. It wasn’t funny. I get it.”

Despite this attempt to walk back her actions, Griffin is reportedly under investigation by the Secret Service.
It is illegal, of course, to threaten the life of a sitting President.
Did Griffin really do this? Will she actually be charged with a crime? It seems very unlikely.
But that doesn’t mean the star won’t face some major consequences in her professional life.
For example, Squatty Potty – a company that produces a foot stool that elevates users as they sit on the toilet – announced this afternoon that it will be dropping the comedian from its upcoming ad campaign.
And while we can’t help but have a million questions over just why Griffin was hired for this role to begin with… that isn’t the point right now.
“We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today, it was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for,” said Bobby Edwards, CEO of the small Utah-based business, in a statement.
He added:
“In response, Squatty Potty has suspended its ad campaign featuring Ms. Griffin. We have acted swiftly and decisively to demonstrate our commitment to a culture of decency, civility, and tolerance.”
Trump has also responded to Griffin’s grotesque beheading photo.
In a statement that did NOT involve any viral typos, he lashed out at the comedian as follows:
“Kathy Griffin should be ashamed of herself. My children, especially my 11 year old son, Barron, are having a hard time with this. Sick!”
And Donald Trump Jr. used Squatty Potty’s decision to slam CNN.
With the network yet to decide whether or will continue to use Griffin for its upcoming New Year’s Eve coverage, Trump Jr. went ahead and attacked his dad’s favorite target.
“So Squatty Potty pulls the plug on Kathy Griffin, but CNN still ‘evaluating’ and weighing their options,” he wrote. “Insane what’s going on there!!!”
He later added:
“Apologies for my last tweet I didn’t mean to group “Squatty Potty” w @CNN. Obviously one of them has moral/ethical standards.”
Ouch! Dissed… and dismissed!
(UPDATE: We wrote too soon. Within minutes of publishing this story, CNN announced it has, indeed, pulled Griffin from future New Year’s Eve telecasts.)
But it’s not only members of Trump’s family who are taking shots at Griffin.
Nor is the backlash reserved for Conservatives.
Democrats are maybe even more irritated by her actions, considering she’s given the Right ammunition at a time when that side has been on the constant defensive as a result of Trump’s never-ending string of scandals.
Tweeted Anderson Cooper, for example, Griffin’s usual CNN co-host for New Year’s Eve coverage:
For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in,” Cooper tweeted on Tuesday. “It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.

Josh Duggar: Axed From Jinger"s Wedding with TLC Camera Tricks
When fans who watch Counting On online saw Jinger Duggar marry Jeremy Vuolo, they did not see persona non grata Josh Duggar.
That was by design, and for obvious reasons. But now we now know just how hard TLC tried to keep his polarizing mug off camera.
It"s not clear if there"s an official policy or not, but producers have decided that Josh cannot be featured on the Duggar family show.
He is, however, still part of a family in which weddings happen at a breakneck pace, meaning TLC must get creative to hide the child molester.
And creative they were, walking this fine line remarkably.
In the photos below, you can see how editors angled sun glare to block Josh as he stood behind Jinger Duggar as she exited the church.
The producers also appear to have shot Jinger and Jeremy"s departure multiple times, perhaps to further nix scenes that Josh sneaked in.
Inside the church, he was concealed by ducking down, holding a child in front of his face, or by positioning him behind other humans.
It"s rather extensive and hilarious. Check out the photos.

Vanderpump Rules Season 5: Which Castmembers Are Back & Who"s Been Axed?!
Good news:
We’re just over a week away from the premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 5!
Not so great news:
It seems one castmember has seen her last dinner rush at SUR.
Rumors about a cast shake-up have been circulating for months, and now it seems our worst fears have been confirmed.
Fan favorite Lala Kent will apparently not be bringing her snarky hotness back for a second season.
Bravo unveiled the opening credits for the show’s fifth season last night, and fans have taken note of the fact that Lala is not one of the beautiful people shooting Blue Steel gazes at the camera and sloshing perfectly good booze all over the place:
Interestingly, however, Stassi Schroeder has made her return to the EDM spill-fest.
Perhaps there’s only room for one sassy blonde in WeHo?
(We kid. West Hollywood is roughly 118% sassy blondes. Look it up.)
Back in August Lala “quit” Vanderpump, but reality stars (particularly those with plenty of time to pursue other career options) quit the shows that made them famous all the time.
However, in this case, the decision seemed to be more than a melodramatic bargaining tactic.
Last month, Lala took on the entire cast (In a Twitter feud! get your mind out of the gutter!) and seemed to put the final nails in the coffin of her career as a SUR girl.
Or did she?
Take another look at the panoramic, ever-expanding group shot at the end of the credits:
There’s Lala, sporting underboob for days, and still standing in close proximity to James Kennedy, as though his douche stench isn’t bringing tears to her eyes.
Also of note:
It seems couples will be taking center stage this season, as the newly-married Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney are flanking Lisa V., along with Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix.
Apparently we’re still pretending Ken Todd matters, as he’s posted up directly behind Lisa.
And Brittany Cartwright has joined boyfriend Jax in the opening credits!
It’s recently been rumored that Jax and Brittany will be starring in a Vanderpump spinoff, in which they’ll spend time with Cartwright’s family in rural Kentucky.
Should be amusing, but it’s also a reminder that a guy with a shaky grasp on how many days are in a year is making way more money than you!

Lamar Odom: Axed from Keeping Up with the Kardashians!
Lamar Odom just lost his only source of income.
Or, to put it more accurately and bluntly, Lamar Odom just had his only source of income taken away from him.
Following yet another incident of Odom falling hard of the wagon of sobriety, sources tell Radar Online that the troubled star has been fired from Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
He will not appear on Season 13.
“Kris is not offering Lamar any type of contract for next season or any season thereafter,” a Kardashian family insider tells Radar.
This report comes on the heels of Odom getting kicked off a Delta flight because he could not stop drunkenly puking while on board.
He eventually did touch down in New York City, via a different plane ride, only to then head straight to a strip club.
Members of this famous family that think Lamar “has really disgraced all of them and their show,” according to the same Radar source.
Odom has been estranged from Khloe Kardashian for several weeks now, but he just made a recent appearance on the series.
You can watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online via the video above to see him offer his soon-to-be-ex-wife advice regarding her brother.
It’s worth noting that Odom was only being paid on a “per-diem basis” since his overdose in October, meaning he was not under a full-season contract even before this firing.
However:
“Everyone was hoping that he would pull through this and become a different person, but he has not,” Radar writes, implying that Odom could have earned himself a real contract if he had simply remained on the straight and narrow.
Alas, the guy clearly has a substance abuse problem.
We mean no judgment by that statement.
We sincerely hope Odom finds the help he so obviously needs.
But the Kardashians have only been aiding his abuse, the Radar insider concludes:
“Instead of using the money that he made from filming last season to better himself, he used to keep up his party lifestyle.
“The whole family is just done with him.”
