Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 Episode 16 Recap: Love at First Fight

Picking up where we left off last week, Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 Episode 16 wasted little time getting down to business:

The business of whether or not Rob Kardashian has a future with Blac Chyna, that is.

For most of this midseason finale, Rob and his pregnant fiancee were not on speaking terms.

If you recall, earlier this summer, Rob deleted all references of Chyna from his Instagram account, prompting fans to wonder if he was about to go underground once again.

He made the same move after bolting early from Kim Kardashian’s wedding to Kanye West a couple years ago.

With Rob’s sisters well aware of how their brother can get when he feels angry or scorned, they felt a need to jump in and try to mend his romance with Chyna on Sunday night.

After Scott Disick confirmed that Rob told him about a “major” fight with Chyna, Khloe grew concerned that her little brother might “go into hiding” or even “go missing.”

Yes, she saw it as that serious.

Fortunately, Kim swooped in and actually called her former close friend, relaying their chat to her siblings as follows:

“[Chyna’s] like, ‘I just need someone to talk to, because it’s really hard to deal with him."”

“She’s like, ‘I just want someone that’s motivated and will get up and do something. … I also said, like, don’t give him false hope if you don’t, like, wanna be with him.”

Eventually, however, Rob stood in the kitchen and opened up to his sisters.

This wasn’t like that other time, he swore. There’s at least one precious reason why he won’t be going anywhere.

“My plan is not to have a kid with somebody and not be with the person, that’s just bizarre to me,” he said.

To help move the reconciliation along, Khloe invited Chyna to her birthday party.

Everyone there clearly had a blast (see the photos below), but the event elicited was about more than just harmless fun.

It ended up being about family.

“It means the world to have my brother at my birthday,” Khloe told the camera. “I can’t remember the last time he was at a family holiday.

“So to have him here, it’s pretty awesome. I am grateful that Chyna came to my birthday party because I think without her, Rob wouldn’t have come here. And it shows me how much Chyna does care about Rob, because that’s an intimidating situation to walk into.”

Elsewhere, those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online this week in order to catch up will see Kendall Jenner throwing shade at her mom for harassing her when it comes to eating.

“I could say, ‘Oh my god, my nail broke,’ and you would say, ‘Have you eaten today?” Kendall said to Kris.

This was maybe meant to elicit a laugh, but it’s really not funny.

Kendall is a model and must already be under pressure to remain thin at work.

We really hope she’s receiving support and love in the opposite direction at home (but sort of doubt that she is).

As for Kourtney?

Would she ever get back together with Scott?

This subject was broached and the oldest sibling sounded very indifferent when it comes to doing her three-time baby daddy again.

“I don’t know, I just don’t know what is in God’s plan,” she said. “Some days, I’m like, ‘Never.’ Some days, I’m like, ‘Maybe in the future.’ It’s not in tomorrow’s plan.”

We did at least see Kourtney overcome her fear of public speaking and totally crush it at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards.

However, we will NOT be seeing her or any other family member on E! again any time too soon.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians is on hiatus and will return with new episodes on Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians: Canceled?!

Is Keeping Up with the Kardashians canceled, or about to be, after its incredible run on E!? Are Kris Jenner’s nightmares coming true?!

That’s the rumor going around … and it would be music to the ears of many people. Alas, even Star, who reported the story, offers a caveat:

The headline of “Finally Kardashians Canceled!” is not entire the case … but it’s on the “verge of being canceled,” the tabloid alleges.

Gossip Cop claims the story is false and that there are no plans to end the show in the foreseeable future, but Star stands by its report.

Who to trust here? It’s impossible to say. All we can do is present the facts, or alleged facts, as first reported by the popular magazine.

You can believe who you want to:

“Kris Jenner is scrambling to save it,” a Star source says of the show, but the issue is that not everyone in her family is sad to see it go.

Quoth the insider:

“Kris is absolutely desperate to save the show. But she can’t do that without her kids, and hardly anyone in the family wants to keep doing it.”

“The show has turned into a grind for the kids. But Kris is telling them they’ll be left with nothing if they walk away from what made them famous.”

“Kris is desperate to save the show,” the source reiterates, and “feels the kids have betrayed her” after all the Momager has done for them.

If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online, you know there’s no shortage of drama to focus on, but therein lies the problem.

Khloe Kardashian Makes Peace Offering to Blac Chyna

In the case of Kim Kardashian, the most famous member of the family, Kanye West is “encouraging the mom of two to move on,” Star says.

We can see ‘Ye taking a stand like that, but again, it’s unclear if he actually did, or if Kim – whose net worth rises by the minute – would oblige.

Supposedly, she’s “on the fence” … or not, according to a Gossip Cop report that denies this and says that any such stories are “false.”

Again, who to believe?!

We can tell you that the PR machine is in overdrive in advance of this coming weekend’s episode. A bit desperate for ratings, perhaps?

On the flip side, if this “$ 500 million empire” is on the verge of collapse, as the tabloid claims, how would it even be at the half-billion mark?!

At this point, we would not bet on its cancelation. The Kards remain controversial, but popular, and the reality show is a key component.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians will soon go on hiatus.

After this Sunday"s new installment, the reality show sensation will take a break and return some time this winter.

On what sort of dramatic note will Kim and company leave us?

Based on the following clip, on the kind of note that has us wondering if Rob Kardashian is in for another downward spiral.

Indeed, those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or live when it airs will see Kris, Khloe and Kim sitting around this week.

They"ll be talking about Rob and his fallout with Blac Chyna, which took place a few weeks ago in real life and which led to Rob deleting all images of Chyna from his Instagram account.

We"ve been here before with Rob, of course.

Way back in the day, he left Kim Kardashian"s wedding weekend early, flew home and sort of fell off the face of the Earth.

Rob got rid of his social media accounts at that time, as well, cutting off nearly all contact.

So his sisters have seen this before. They know how Rob can get when he"s angry and hurt.

In this latest example, a source told People Magazine that Rob and Chyna got into a fight while filming their reality show.

"Rob just got super emotional and felt too overwhelmed," an insider said in early August of what went down between Rob and Chyna, adding:

"He lashed out from being frustrated, and they broke things off while they were filming. They got back together hours later."

So we now know that Khloe had nothing to worry about when this scene was filmed.

But she didn"t know that at the time.

It can be confusing when footage is filmed and then airs weeks later, yet the topic the family is discussing has already been resolved.

Anyone who reads any celebrity gossip at all knows that Rob and Chyna, a former family nemesis, are engaged and having a baby together.

Khloe vented to her Momager at the ouset of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 Episode 15 that she was missing her brother.

Considering Rob was having a baby, and getting married, and Khloe was going through a divorce, their estrangement felt truly bizarre.

Kris finally brokered a long-awaited peace talk.

“I just feel like the situation’s not very welcoming for her to be like, ‘Oh, I need to go be BFF,"” Rob told Khloe. “I’d like to be there for you.”

“I just want everyone to be happy so, you know, I need everyone else to be, like, on the same page. We’ll get everyone together.”

Khloe’s response? “It feels so good to have my brother back and in my life. I feel so much more safe and just at peace that he is here.”

“[He’s] someone I can call and lean on.”

Well, that was easy, or at least it looked like it for a brief moment on TV. As for getting Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian back together …

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Klip: A Konundrum for Kourtney

The Lord celebrated his birthday in Las Vegas, and invited Kourtney to come celebrate … sans kids. Clearly, his mind was on one thing:

Boning the living brains out of his baby mama.

He joked, “I’d like to have a little pre-game sex with Kourtney before we go to dinner, then a little birthday sex like after and in the club.” 

Not mincing words about his goals, was he?

After all they’ve been through, however, she was less than willing to rush back into a relationship with a man who proved so … unworthy.

Scott seems like he’s doing better lately and has always been a likable, hilarious dude, but let’s be honest: Disick was a dick to Kourt.

This is not lost on her as she weighs her future.

“There’s so much work that would be involved and I’m so not even there yet,” Kourtney said, although she did end up going to Vegas.

The 37-year-old mother of three ended up having a great, platonic time and admitted she was “overanalyzing the situation,” so that’s that.

For now.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Clip: WTH is Going On?!?

It seems like Kourtney is ready to move on, and so is Khloe in a different sense, filing for divorce from Lamar Odom for the second time.

Why did she reach that decision? Is it not obvious?

The rumor that Khloe found a crack pipe at Lamar’s house and evicted him from the rental property she leased was not addressed.

However, the implication was crystal clear Sunday:

“I was holding out to help Lamar, but Lamar’s not helping himself, so I have to do what’s best for me” Khloe told the E! cameras.

“I will always love Lamar and be his friend,” she said, but lamented, “but it’s time for me to start the next chapter of my life.”

After a hilarious interlude in which her family tried to set her up with Hot Mugshot Guy Jeremy Meeks, Khloe was feeling a little better.

Finally, Kris Jenner tried to keep up with the Kardashians’ workouts, and it proved pretty difficult. Even a media mogul has some limitations.

Kris was stressed about being 20 pounds overweight, which seems ridiculous since she looks great, but the episode needed a “B” storyline.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Clip: WTH is Going On?

Khloe Kardashian has had a tough 2016.

Really, we can include the entire year here.

This is mostly due to her divorce proceedings from Lamar Odom, along with the up and down nature of their relationship.

Odom, of course, was recently just spotted out with a bunch of strippers.

Those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online are well aware of Khloe"s trials and tribulations, of course, as are those closest to her.

Such as Kim Kardashian and Kim Kardashian.

With this in mind, the siblings organize a surprise for Khloe on this Sunday"s new installment of the family"s annoying reality show.

Because their sister is going through a difficult time, they aim to show her that she"s "loved" by surprising her at Kourtney’s home with a bunch of her favorite things.

"What the hell is going on?” asks Khloe when she initially approaches.

In response, Kourtney and Kim say they just want her to feel adored, admired, loved and cared about.

Pretty sweet, right?

"But why what happened?" Khloe asks them.

"Well … what hasn"t happened?" Kim responds.

"True story, true story," Khloe laughs.

Kourtney and Kim then explain to Khloe that she just "refiled for divorce" and even though she acts "strong and together," let"s face: sometimes she just needs some "TLC."

Sometimes, we all do.

"This is a pampering session to just keep you going," Kim explains.

And Khloe is clearly touched by the gesture.

"This just shows that you know my sisters do love me and they are aware of everything I"m going through," she says.

"I do not have a clue what I would do without them. When you have people that you know you can depend on, even though you"re going through s–t, you just know everything is going to be OK eventually."

In this clip from Sunday"s Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 Episode 15, Kourtney Kardashian has a major decision to make.

What will she do about Scott"s birthday?!?!?

In the teaser, the mother of three talks with Kris Jenner and sister Khloe Kardashian about attending Scott Disick"s 33rd birthday party.

For obvious reasons, she"s conflicted about it.

"Scott invited me to his birthday party in Las Vegas and I"m just not sure if I want to go," Kourtney says in a confessional to the E! cameras.

The Lord, she feels, might get the wrong idea. 

"I"m so happy that Scott and I are getting along so well and that we"re co-parenting, but I think hanging out with Scott without the kids …"

Things are good right now as Kourt sees it, but everything is tenuous when it comes to Scott, so she"s reluctant to rock the boat.

Hanging out without the kids, she fears "Scott can just take any little thing and run with it and think that we are getting back together."

"Right now, I can"t even wrap my head around that."

After all they"ve been through, who can blame her?

The guy clearly hasn"t established a track record of being stable when he"s in a relationship, or making good on promises to get clean.

Even though the kids would love it, and plenty of fans who loved them together might wonder why she doesn"t just go for it, Kourt is realistic.

"There"s so much work that would be involved," she says, after their breakup and the many low points that came before that.

"I"m so not even there yet."

The pair officially ended their nine-year relationship in July 2015 after photos surfaced of Disick hanging out with Chloe Bartoli in France.

Despite the heartbreak, Kardashian and Disick have admirably taken the high road, remained amicable and continue to be good friends.

Or as close as you can be, in their situation.

Relatively speaking, he"s been on good, sober behavior – plenty of rumors will always follow Scott, but he"s done nothing shady we know of.

His struggles with sobriety and their impact on his life are well documented, but in fairness, he"s been pretty much a model citizen lately.

It shows, too, in the only way that really counts.

Their three children Mason, 6, Penelope, 4, and Reign, 20 months, are all thriving, and both parents deserve credit for their role in that.

Recently, all five went on vacation together.

“[We ate], slept, relaxed, swam, drove around, saw the sights," Disick said of the Nantucket trip he took with Kourt and the kids.

"[We] checked out different restaurants," he added. "Went to some candy stores for the kids. Overall, it was very, very relaxing."

And he got Kourtney Kardashian pregnant again.

Just kidding! Maybe. That rumor never gets old. No, for real, it will probably surface every few months for the rest of her natural life.

Kate Upton Shades Kardashians With Plastic Surgery Joke

We don’t think anyone would claim that Kate Upton is incredibly talented or exceptionally brilliant, but to her credit, she made it as a model after being rejected by the industry’s mainstream.

It doesn’t hurt that Upton has giant boobs, but there’s more to her success than just her figure.

The girl has a gift for marketing herself and using social media to her advantage.

It’s a skill set that’s occasionally led to comparisons between Kate and the Kardashian clan.

Of course, in Kate’s case, there’s no Kris Jenner manning the controls of her career.

We’re sure these days, Upton has a team of agents, publicists and PR reps to enhance her “brand,” but in the early days, she did it mostly on her own.

Unlike Kim and company, Kate did it without a well-connected momager – or a team of plastic surgeons.

Perhaps that’s why she’s throwing serious shade at the Kards for pretending they haven’t gone under the knife:

“I look like a Kardashian, nose job and all.”

The comment didn’t come entirely out of left field, as there is a brief history of shade here, and naturally, it involves Kanye West.

West lashed out in one of his signature tirades after Upton dressed as Marilyn Monroe for a 2013 Vanity Fair cover.

Kanye felt that Kim should’ve been dressed as Marilyn because “icon” and “best of all time” and blah, blah, blah.

All of that may have factored into Kate’s decision to throw some mild shade, but we think there’s more to it than that.

It’s not the fact that the Kardashian gals have had work done that upsets so many of their fans and colleagues.

It’s the fact that they won’t own up to it.

The Kardashians lie about plastic surgery so often these days, that there are folks out there who really believe that they’ve never had so much as a facial injection.

That can lead to unrealistic beauty standards and body image issues, and it may be what Kate is calling out here.

Or maybe she’s just returning fire because like so many others, she’s sick of Kanye’s crap.

We can definitely relate.

Come to think of it, we’re sure Kim can relate, too.

Kardashians: Deceiving Fans With Illegal Instagrams?

The Kardashians are famous for being paid oodles of cash to promote a product, but are they playing by the rules (or rather, the law) when it comes to sponsored posts?

According to Page Six, a letter from watchdog group Truth In Advertising reportedly sent a letter to momager Kris Jenner’s legal team, warning her that they “have found that members of the Kardashian/Jenner family are engaged in deceptive marketing campaigns.”

The group has been meticulously following the Instagram accounts of Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as their younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and gathered 27 companies – incluing Puma, Calvin Klein, JetSmarter, Fit Tea, Estée Lauder and Karl Lagerfeld – they were working with.

What the group found was “a plethora of posts that do not clearly or conspicuously disclose their relationships with the companies being promoted in the posts as is required by federal law.”

The group has informed Jenner that if the issues aren’t “fully corrected” by Wednesday, the family will be reported to the Federal Trade Commission.

It’s no secret that the Kardashians have been hawking products since Keeping Up With The Kardashians became wildly popular in 2007, but federal law requires that a company and its participants clearly state that the post is sponsored. 

“The law is clear and people are not following it, and it’s not being enforced very often,” TINA spokeswoman Bonnie Patten told Page Six.

Social media is becoming the new medium for advertising, and this law is making it even more difficult for a celebrity or person of influence to share a product with followers without being asked, “is this sponsored? Are you being paid to promote this?”

The Fashion Law website broke it down for readers, clarifying what constitutes a sponsored post.

“Is posting a photo an endorsement? The FTC says yes!” The Fashion Law explains.

“A photo is enough to trigger the need to disclose: Simply posting a picture of a product on social media, such as on Pinterest or Instagram, or a video of you using it, could convey that you like and approve of the product. If it does, it’s an endorsement and must be disclosed.”

After a 17-minute teaser the previous week, Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 Episode 14 aired in its entirety Sunday night.

The peace was short-lived in the family because Blac Chyna went and launched an app that Rob Kardashian’s relatives found questionable.

To put it mildly.

If you watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online, or (sorry) keep up with the Kards at all, you know there’s been a lot of tension.

With Kim Kardashian’s former BFF Blac having given birth to Tyga’s baby, and Tyga now dating baby Kylie Jenner, it’s all just … awkward.

This family beef runs so deep and has escalated so hard in all its passive-aggressive glory that we made an entire slideshow explaining it:

But it doesn’t have to go on this way, Kim told Kourtney after she and Chyna had a nice phone conversation about the latter’s new emojis.

Yes, seriously.

Like Kim’s “Kimojis,” these would be dubbed “Chymojis,” about which Chyna wanted to give Kim the heads up and pick her brain a bit.

Kim noted that Chyna axed the idea of an emoji depicting Blac “kicking a tiger, like for Tyga,” and was impressed at how chill she is.

Too good to be true, right? Yes. There was a huge but (and, we suppose, given who we’re talking about, a huge BUTT) coming, however:

Soon after Kim’s supposedly friendly phone call, Kourtney Kardashian discovered the emoji shown above in which Kylie gets b!tch slapped.

Self-explanatory, right?

“It sent me over the edge,” Kourtney said, getting as fired up as Kourtney gets, and vowing to call up Chyna to confront her about this.

Upon Kylie’s urging, she decided not to, saying, “I don’t want to yell at a pregnant person,” but she did yell at her brother Rob instead.

Rob insisted that the emoji isn’t supposed to be Kylie, an explanation that Kourtney wasn’t buying, and for good reason, since it totes is.

“This is the first time I’ve doubted her intentions … just when everybody was welcoming Chyna into the family this comes out,” she added.

For her part, Kylie said the girl getting her ass whomped had “thick brows, side bangs and purple lips,” so it couldn’t POSSIBLY be her!

Denial is a powerful thing.

“I really think it looks like this girl that [Chyna] hates that she had a public fight with,” Kylie said, insisting that everybody chill out a bit.

Young Jenner added, “There’s so much misunderstanding going on… I’m really tired of my family fighting with Rob over every little thing.”

Is the just-turned-19-year-old the most mature voice of reason in the family? Maybe so, as people in their mid-30s were flipping out.

Kim told Kourtney, “I cannot believe you haven’t talked to him since then and I cannot believe he hasn’t cared enough to call you.”

“I feel like this is so ridiculous and we all need to just get over it,” she added, setting up a mediation session to resolve this conflict.

Melodramatic and overblown, yes, but at least she was dedicating her efforts to conflict resolution and not escalation, for once.

Kourtney confessed that she overreacted and should have calmly asked Rob about the issue instead of making assumptions and yelling.

She later admitted, “I know what it’s like to be having your first baby and people aren’t supportive. It took years for people to like Scott.”

In that sense, The Lord has set a low bar for Blac. Not that this was on Rob’s mind when he finally connected with his oldest sibling.

Rob told Kourtney he didn’t appreciate or care for “negative assumptions” and preferred she talk “normally and calmly” in the future.

Simple enough, right?

Kourtney apologized, conceded that point, and told the engaged, expectant father that “I’m excited for this new chapter in your life.”

Keeping Up with the Kardashians Clip: Hope for Lamar?

Keeping up with the health and well-being of Lamar Odom may be the most confusing aspect of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

One second, Odom is struggling to stay sober.

The next second, he"s on the mend and looking to reconcile with Khloe Kardashian.

We guess this is actually sort of normal for someone battling a substance abuse problem.

Those who watch Keeping Up with the Kardashians online or on E! this Sunday night, however, will see the contrasting side of Odom for themselves.

In the following clip, he seems totally out of it.

He"s eating, he"s spilling food on the ground, he"s having a conversation with Kris Jenner and with Khloe, but it"s like he"s barely there.

Lamar keeps rubbing his eyes and giving very short answers.

On the other hand, he"s talking about a training facility that he"s planning to attend, one that hosts a number of big-time athletes.

It"s obviously a positive sign that Odom thinks he can handle that sort of grind… right?

"I need to see some consistency and a little effort on Lamar"s part," Khloe tells the camera of her ex-husband, adding:

"Going to a basketball camp is a big step and I don"t want to set him up for failure."

That"s why she doesn"t say much in this sneak peek.

But Jenner has some questions.

And Khloe clearly has some concerns.

The Game Claims to Have Banged THREE Kardashians

The Game has once again claimed to know members of the Kardashian family.

In the vaginal sense, that is.

Way back in February of 2014, the rapper claimed to have banged Kim Kardashian.

He made this admission in an interview with BBC Radio, explaining that the relationship didn’t last long and that it took place many years ago.

Now, more than two and a half years later, The Game is at it again.

On Saturday, the 36-year old artist released his latest track, “Sauce,” surprising fans with at least one lyric in the single.

“I used to f-ck bitches that Usher Raymond passed on,” he raps, prior to adding: “Then I f-cked three Kardashians…”

This reference, of course, has the Internet reeling. And pondering.

We’ve got Kim Kardashian already, so there’s one.

The Game has already claimed to have inserted her penis into Kim’s vagina on at least one occasion.

But to whom else is The Game singing?

Yes, he was linked on multiple occasions to Khloe Kardashian back in the day, with various tabloids claiming Khloe cheated on Lamar Odom with The Game

But the artist said the following to Us Weekly in 2013 in response to these rumors:

“The pictures that you see of us out together are because she is part of my 60 Days of Fitness team.

“Khloe is my friend. She is like a sister. We have never [slept together] and will never be sleeping together.”

So he was either lying then or Khloe is not among the siblings he’s talking about now. Hmmm…

There hasn’t been any chatter over the years about The Game having gotten it on with Kourtney Kardashian.

It wouldn’t shock us it their private parts met at some point in the past, except that Kourtney was with Scott Disick for nine years prior to their break up last summer.

So The Game would either needed to have plower her at some point in the last 12 months… or a very long time ago… or Kourtney cheated on Disick with this rapper.

We say once again: Hmmm…..

Could The Game be rapping here about Kylie or Kendall Jenner?

Kylie only just turned 19, so just… no. No, no, no, no, NO.

Let’s assume there’s no way in heck he got all up in her bedroom business.

As for Kendall? The Game is 15 years her senior and she’s only been legal for the last three years. So this one also seems very hard to believe.

Which leaves us stumped.

The Game screwed Kim. There’s one Kardashian. Let’s say he was lying and did go all the way with Khloe at some point. There’s two Kardashians.

Kourtney remains the obvious answer for Kardashian Banging Number-Three, but the timelines don’t really match up.

Unless…. might The Game be referring to Rob?!? No judgment here if so. Many people out there have experimented with members of the same sex.

But would The Game brag about it if Rob was one of his three conquests?

Much like the whereabouts of The Game’s penis at the moment, this question may remain a mystery for the foreseeable future.
