Drunken Teen Gets Head Stuck in Car Exhaust Pipe
We"ve all been there, right?
We"re attending a country music festival. We"ve had our share of alcohol beverages. And we see a pickup truck.
The pickup truck, naturally, has an exhaust pipe coming out of its rear.
And we think to ourselves… hey, I think my head could fit safely into that exhaust pipe and then I could pull it back out with ease!
No? We haven"t all been there?
Only Kaitlin Strom, the woman featured in the following video has been there?
That"s sort of what we figured.
In a Facebook video that has been viewed nearly three million times, this 19-year old is sitting on the ground at the Winstock Music Festival with her head inside of an oversized diesel exhaust pipe.
The brief snippet below features emergency crews preparing to use a power saw to cut her free.
How did she end up in this situation?
"We were just all having fun and I saw this big exhaust pipe and I was like, ‘Hey, my head could probably fit in that, so I tried it. It did fit, but it didn’t want to come back out,” Strom explained to the Hutchinson Leader.
Strom went on to say she was trapped in this pipe for about 45 minutes, which seems like an extremely long time to have one"s head trapped inside of an exhaust pipe.
The teenager simply tried to remain calm before the fire department was able to finally get her out.
That was the good news… the bad news is that she was cited by the police department for underage drinking.
How much did she imbibe? Strom would not say.
But she did clearly take a bit of pride in her viral act, based on the Facebook photo and caption above.

Man Gets Head Stuck in Movie Theater Seat, Dies
We know the above headline is likely to make you laugh.
But this is a serious matter.
This is the story of a real tragedy that took place in Great Britain.
According to various news outlets, a 24-year old father named Ateeq Rafiq was seeing a movie in Birmingham, England on March 9 when he dropped his cellphone between two reclining seats.
When Rafiq bent down to pick up the item, the footrest on the electrically-powered seat clamped down on his head, reports the Birmingham Mail newspaper.
The horrific incident took place at Vue Cinema at Star City, the outside of which is pictured below.
Said a spokesperson for the venue in a prepared statement:
“Following an incident which took place on Friday 9 March at our Birmingham cinema, we can confirm that a customer was taken to hospital that evening.
“We are saddened to learn that he passed away on Friday 16 March.
“A full investigation into the nature of the incident is ongoing. Our thoughts and condolences are with the family who have our full support and assistance.”
How could this possibly have happened?
A source familiar with the situation described what transpired thusly when speaking to the aforementioned publication:
“The Gold Class seats are electric reclining seats. He bent down to look for his phone.
“At this point the leg-rest was in an upright position. But as he stuck his head underneath to have a look, the footrest clamped down onto his head. He was stuck.
“His partner and staff tried to free him but couldn’t. The chair leg-rest was eventually broken free and he managed to get out.”
From there, Rafiq was taken to a local hospital.
He passed away several days later from injuries sustained in this freak accident.
The victim’s family is devastated by the loss, says sister-in-law Fatima Arzo to The Daily Mirror.
“We are grieving and completely in shock. My sister is in pieces,” she told the newspaper, adding:
“We are grateful to everyone who tried to help him, and at the moment we are praying and trying to come to terms with the fact we lost a loved one.”
The cinema complex at Star City where this took place features 25 screens, including three Gold Class rooms where the emphasis is on comfort and luxury.
Reads the official website:
“The Gold Class ticket price includes complimentary popcorn during your film and is strictly for over 18’s, offering luxury seating with a fully licensed bar and an enhanced viewing experience.
“Gold Class customers are welcome to visit the Gold Class bar to enjoy a drink before and during the screening.”

Brie Larson Rushes To Bathroom, Gets Stuck In Huge Celebrity Selfie
Brie Larson was partying it up at this year’s MET Gala in style, but she got the shock of her life when she had to hit up the restroom.
As soon as she walked in, she was thrust into a star-studded celebrity selfie and, well, you could tell by the reaction on her face that she was pretty shocked and overwhelmed.
Now, there’s nothing worse than needing to make a trip to the bathroom, and there’s a long ass queue of people, just waiting to get in there.

Poor Brie took to Twitter with a perfect response to the picture.

The 27-year-old actress was already famous before the selfie, so if anything, she will now be more well-known amongst fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
It is pretty hilarious going to the toilet and being caught up on a celebrity selfie, but the internet appeared to be loving it.
We’re sure anyone would have loved to have taken Brie’s place in that selfie, but we can all just sit here and drool over the the picture.
Celebrities love to take selfies. Remember the one with Ellen Degeneres that almost broke the internet?

And a story that is full of $ hit!
And someone who could use a (clean) hand!
Indeed, Gracie Henderson has made headlines for something that happened to her soon after she moved into a new home in New Caney, Texas.
Earlier this month, Henderson told The Houston Chronicle that the entire moving experience was a nightmare for her, considering the following hiccups:
“A water pipe busted in the wall the day I moved in. I got my car stuck in the mud in the front yard. My brand new lawn mower stopped working.”
On April 12, however, things really took a turn for the terrible when her toilet got clogged and she didn’t have a plunger.
Did she run to the store and purchase one? Nope.
Henderson thought she might be able to fix the clogged commode herself. With her bare hand.
First off: YUCK!
Secondly: FAIL!
Henderson says her watch got caught inside the toilet, which led to her entire hand getting stuck and no viable option remaining on the table except to call the authorities for assistance.
“It’s not really stuck, I’m not really about to call 911 for this,” Henderson told Inside Edition of her mindset at the time.
Making matters even more embarrassing and ironic? Henderson works as a medic. She’s responded to plenty of emergency phone calls over the years.
“We’ve done all kinds of crazy stuff [as medics], but I have never done a hand stuck in the toilet call,” she told the celebrity news outlet.
That was likely the case beforehand for the EMTs who arrived on the scene last week and came to Henderson’s rescue at her home.
The operation required removing the toilet from the bathroom, carrying it outside with her hand still in it and then breaking it open with a sledgehammer, according to the Houston Chronicle.
We can only imagine what the neighbors must have been thinking upon witnessing this display.
Note to Readers: Never underestimate the value of a plunger.
“My son was mortified when all the EMS and fire showed up!!!” Henderson told the newspaper.
He’s probably really glad his mother is sharing the endeavor with reporters, however.
Henderson is now in need of a new toilet for the home, but she already has something that is nearly as important, something she will never be without ever again: a new plunger.
It donated to her by the good folks at Inside Edition.
“This is my best friend from now on,” she told the program.

Kim Kardashian: "Stuck" in Marriage to Kanye West?!
By now you’re probably heard (and possibly already dismissed) the rumors:
According to insiders, tabloid headlines, and Twitter eggs, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are headed for divorce.
The reports have been circulating for months, and normally, the fact that no legal action has been taken by either party would be taken as evidence that the breakup talk is without merit.
However, these are special circumstances, and while they’re not known for jealously guarding their privacy (quite the opposite, in fact), when the Kardashians want to keep something out of the press, they can do so quite effectively.
Sure, Kim has been divorced twice before, but this time is different:
For one thing, it’s her third divorce, and the always image-conscious reality star is no doubt aware of the jokes that will be cracked on social media if she becomes half of three failed marriages at the age of 36.
Kim has implicitly characterized those first two marriages as misguided “starter” attempts, and her marriage to Kanye as the real deal.
For the most part, fans have been willing to buy that explanation.
After all Kim was very young the first time she got hitched, and her second marriage lasted only 72 days.
She and Kanye have been married for nearly three years; they have two kids together; and Kim seems to very much like the “type-A wife and mom who’s put her wild days behind her” narrative.
Add to that the fact that Kanye is an emotional time bomb, liable to spill all kinds of secrets in the event of a divorce, and it’s not hard to see why Kim might feel that she’s “stuck” in an unhealthy marriage.
Earlier this week, the Kardashians went on vacation to Costa Rica, but were not joined by West, a move that many took as an indication of trouble in paradise.
Now, however, sources are claiming that Kim cut her trip short in order to rush home to Kanye.
“She would not stop talking about Kanye while they were away and she doesn’t know what she wants to do she feels like she is stuck and is unhappy but she doesn’t know how to make it better and fix the situation,” an insider tells Radar Online.
Yes, it souns like Kim is simply tolerating her marriage at this point.
Normally, we’d say she’ll eventually get fed up and leave, but when it comes to Kim, we don’t think there’s any limit to what she’ll put put with for good publicity.

Non-Brilliant Teen Gets Head Stuck Inside Pumpkin
Pumpkin spice lattes. David S. Pumpkins. Donald Trump.
It seems everywhere you look you’re confronted by something orange and obnoxious these days.
Perhaps we could all learn a lesson from young Rachel in the clip below who decided if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em:
The video was uploaded by a woman with the YouTube name Kristy Ralphs.
She explains it thusly:
“So this is my daughter attempting to stick her head in her pumpkin 20 seconds after I started filming our family pumpkin carving. Didn’t really turn out as she expected but definitely worth a good laugh for the rest of us though!
“And YES, she did make it out just fine a few minutes after this video ended.”
Yes, the poor girl’s head was stuck inside that damn pumpkin for so long her mom gave up and stopped filming.
Fortunately, she eventually posted a sequel:
Thankfully, Rachel survived her terrifying run-in with the orange menace.
Hopefully we’ll be able to say the same about our nation on November 8.
Yes, that was another #Trumpkin joke.

Anyway, let’s focus on what we can learn from Rachel’s predicament.
There’s the obvious lesson of: don’t stick your head in a freakin’ pumpkin, but there’s so much more that can be taken away from this.
Namely, the fact that you never know when the opportunity to achieve viral fame will arise, so you should be ready to record at a moment’s notice.
In fact, just to be safe, you should probably just wear an iPhone on your chest like a cop’s body camera to ensure that your Chewbacca Mom moment doesn’t elude you.
In a way, Rachel sacrificed her own dignity just to teach us this lesson.
When you think about it, she’s basically Pumpkin Jesus.
Which is probably what Trump’s staff calls him when he’s not around.
Sorry, we had to sneak one more in there.
Shoutout to Rachel for giving us the opportunity to drop so many topical gourd gags.
Also, props for not pummeling that kid who won’t stop singing the same damn line over and over.

College Student Tries to Woo Woman, Gets Stuck in a Wall
We’ve all been there, haven’t we?
You’ve had a lot to drink. You see a member of the opposite sex. You’d like to get the attention of this man or woman to maybe see if he or she would like to go home with you.
Really, we’ve all been there, right?
Probably. But very few of us have been HERE…
On Monday night, an unnamed University of Pittsburgh student wanted to impress a woman he saw on Forbes Avenue.
So he climbed to the roof of a building and tried to leap over to the roof of a nearby building…
… only to fail miserably and actually get himself wedged between a Qdoba and a Bruegger’s Bagels. This is where he remained for four hours.
“He didn’t quite achieve his goal. He missed and fell in between the buildings,” said Police Spokesperson Sonya Toler.
The student was stuck in a 16-inch wide gap, three stories high, from approximately 2 a.m. through approximately 6 a.m.
Police and rescue paramedics arrived at the scene not long after witnesses say the man plummet to his near-death. And total embarrassment.
He was eventually broken free and taken to UPMC Presbyterian, where Toler said he was treated and will be just fine.
Physically, that is.
Mentally, we’d have to assume this is the sort of incident that remains with one for a very long time.
To pry him loose from the gap, the Public safety department had to drill holes in three walls of the buildings, two of which were in Qdoba and one in the neighboring building.
Chad Brooks, the franchise owner of all Qdobas in Pittsburgh, said the interior wall of his restaurant had to be taken down and rebuilt, but he wasn’t certain how much it would cost.
The restaurant will be closed for at least a few weeks, yet Brooks said he was not looking to press charges against the man.
So even though this idiot didn’t get lucky on Monday evening, he did end up getting lucky in the end.
He could have died. He could be facing a lawsuit.
And instead he just went home to the hospital alone.

Girl Gets Stuck in Barney Costume, Lives All of Our Worst Nightmares
Barney may love you.
And you may love Barney.
But no one loves getting his or her head stuck inside a Barney costume. That’s just #RealTalk.
And it’s something Darby Risner now knows all too well.
This native of Trussville, Alabama found a Barney head at a friend’s house on Saturday night and thought she could have some fun by scaring her friends.
Just imagine how you’d react if you walked into a room and Barney was suddenly there, annoying theme song spewing from his lips.
We can understand where Darby was coming from.
Shortly after putting the Barney costume on, Risner told a local ABC affiliated that the head “wobbled and scooched down,” covering her shoulders just above her elbows making it look as if she had “short little Barney arms.”
She could not get it off.
“All the girls started trying to pull it off, but it wasn’t budging,” said Risner.
“I started getting a little claustrophobic and felt like it was kind of closing in.”
In the end, her friends even tried rubbing Vaseline all over her arms, but the attempt proved to be unsuccessful.
Fortunately for Risner, one of her pals had a boyfriend in the Trussville Fire department.
So they drove over to the fire station and asked some professionals for assistance.
“Soon enough, we saw a group of young girls waddling with one who had a Barney head stuck on her,” Trussville Fire Department Lt. Vince Bruno told ABC.
He added that this was a “first” in his 33 years on the job. To which we reply: d’uh.
After numerous failed attempts at pulling the Barney head directly off, Bruno explained how they began making “release cuts” into the head, which then allowed it to “slide right off” of Risner’s body.
And, after all of this effort and teamwork… FREEDOM!

Woman Gets Stuck in Stall, May Never be the Same
Let"s get one thing clear:
Having a baby changing station in a public restroom is a very good thing.
Just ask anyone who has tried to change the diaper of a baby on the floor.
But the woman featured in the video below would also like to make one more thing clear:
Please, please, please fold these baby changing stations back up after using them.
Otherwise, at least in certain public restrooms, they will actually prop up against the stall door and lock someone in there.
HA! (Which is easy for us to say, of course, considering we are not the ones who are stuck in a disgusting stall as a result of this snafu.)
The woman below is addressing her son, Johnny, in the video, explaining what happened and admitting that her large figure makes it impossible for her to get out.
Johnny went ahead and shared the video on YouTube, but hopefully only after he helped his mother escape.
This poor woman. We can"t imagine a worse place to be stuck for any extended period of time.
