Kate Middleton to Meghan Markle: Quit Stealing My Spotlight, Bish
Ever since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry back in May, the former actress has been the toast of London.
In fact, you could call her the Queen of the British Empire, were it not for the fact that that title is already held by an iconic nonagenarian who doesn’t seem to keen on the idea of relinquishing it anytime soon.
Of course, barring a series of violent tragedies that would make George R.R. Martin blush, Meghan will never actually be queen, as her husband is third in line for the throne.
Prince William, however, will likely wear the crown one day, which means Kate Middleton will join him as one of the world’s two most visible monarchs.
And if recent reports are to be believed, Kate is very much looking forward to the time when she can steal her spotlight back from Meg.
Yes, the news of Meghan’s pregnancy came just a few months after her wedding, and insiders say Kate feels as though she’s been shoved to the margins.
Of course, patience is Kate’s best-known virtue — she didn’t earn the nickname “Waity” for nothing — but when it comes to reclaiming her spot as the queen bee of Kensington Palace, Kate is not biding her time.
Royal watchers have noticed that the Duchess of Cambridge has been attending more events, posing for more pics, and rocking more daring fashions in recent weeks.
“A couple of years ago, you might have seen her being a little bit timid,” Royal expert Susan E. Kelley recently told Vanity Fair.
“Now, she seems like she’s in a more take-charge position,” Kelley added.
“I’m beginning to see the person who’s going to be queen emerging.”
Of course, given the timing of Kate’s emboldened stance toward the media, it’s not hard to see why so many have jumped to the conclusion that she’s responding to the increased attention toward Meghan.
Insiders have noted that in many ways, Meg is the ideal royal spouse, having entered the role with years of media experience and a long history of philanthropic work.
British tabloids have described the relationship between Meghan and Kate as a rivalry, but that seems inaccurate.
Even if Kate is stepping her game up in response to the increase in attention toward Meghan, that doesn’t mean she feels threatened by the former Suits star.
It’s entirely possible she welcomes a little friendly competition.

Jenelle Evans: Stealing Food from Low-Income Hurricane Victims?!
Last week, Hurricane Florence did some real damage to the Carolinas.
And since Jenelle Evans lives near the coast of North Carolina, she definitely felt some of that damage.
She"s been tweeting and Facebooking and Instagramming about everything that"s been happening down in her neck of the woods, and it honestly sounds horrible.
But one of her most recent posts has a lot of people furious with her.
Let"s get into the details!
1. Fair
At this point, it feels pretty safe to say that Hurricane Florence has really thrown Jenelle for a loop.
2. Kick It, Y’all
When the storm was just getting started, she shared photos of Kaiser playing outside in the rain and proudly declared that they were “kickin’ this storm’s butt.”
3. What Hurricane?
Then, when she lost power at her house, she shared another picture of Kaiser, this one with him inside holding a lantern, and she honestly used a “What Hurricane?” hashtag.
4. Not So Fun
Things only got real for her when a dam broke in her mother’s neck of the woods and she began her third day without power.
5. Insane
“This is insane,” she tweeted. “Lots of rain, flooding, washed out roads, broken dams, falling trees killing people, tornados, dolphins in the streets, sharks on highways, alligators running around, and wild snakes outside swimming. What else can go wrong?”
6. Wrong!
She quickly learned what else could go wrong, because even though she said she and David Eason had been prepping for the storm, they apparently ran out of food and gas, as she revealed in a now deleted tweet.

Jill Duggar: Accused of Stealing Recipes & Passing Them Off as Her Own!
Jill Duggar is certainly no stranger to scandal.
In fact, it often feels as though Jill has spent the past year leapfrogging from one scandal to the next, often juggling multiple controversies at one time.
Most of these headaches have come courtesy of her husband, Derick Dillard.
As you’ve likely heard, Derick was fired by TLC recently after launching a bizarre transphobic tirade against fellow network star Jazz Jennings.
For reasons that defy explanation, Jill then quit Counting On as a gesture of solidarity.
In the months since, the Dillards have gone to great lengths to remain relevant and make ends meet.
Some of these attempts have been less successful than others.
For example, Jill and Derick have been forced to promise that they’ll stop begging for money from fans after a public outcry (and probably some stern words from Papa Jim Bob about jeopardizing the family business venture).
But that doesn’t mean the Dillards are done trying to monetize their dwindling fame.
To be fair, they don’t really have much of a choice, as Jill has never held a job, and Derick quit his accounting gig years ago to pursue reality television fame.
These days, Jill is trying to make a name for herself as a sort of fundamentalist Martha Stewart by sharing recipes and offering housekeeping tips on her personal website.
Unfortunately, no one told her that Martha created those recipes herself and didn’t just copy and paste them from elsewhere on the internet.
Yes, Jill has been busted plaigiarizing recipes and passing them off as her own.
As the folks at Romper point out, Jill first got called out when fans noticed that an identical version of “her” stuffed zucchini recipe also appeared on AllRecipes.com.
After that, the floodgates were open, and fans had a field day pointing out the various recipes that Jill had very clearly pilfered from other sources.
Visitors to the website pointed out that Jill’s recipes for slow chicken mole and riguas (which she hilariously claimed to have perfected during her time performing missionary work in Central America) were both lifted from other sites.
Jill is still a Duggar, of course, which means diehard fans will always emerge to defend her.
“How does one plagiarize a recipe that’s been around for generations? Just curious,” asked one fan.
The answer, of course is simple:
One plagiarizes the recipe by not linking to or at least giving credit to the original source of the recipe.
Fortunately, for every defender, Jill has had at least one detractor:
“It seems most all of her photos & possibly recipes have been lifted from other sources,” wrote one partucularly irate fan.
“I think she may have a lot more work to do than just to fix one post,” the follower continued.
“If I were her, I would shut down the website entirely until it was cleaned up & the original writers & photographers w/notified w/an apology.”
Yes, that would probably be the best course of action.
But like we said, Jill is still a Duggar – and that means she doesn’t really “do” apologies.
