Amy Roloff Takes Major Step in Romance with Chris Marek

If you close your eyes and listen closely, you can hear them.

The sound is not overpowering just yet. It remains somewhat faint.

But make no mistake: When it comes to Amy Roloff and her long-time boyfriend Chris Marek, they are very much there.

We write, of course, about wedding bells.

More specifically, about the sound of them ringing and how we’re more convinced than ever before that they will be doing precisely this for the Little People, Big World star some time in the near future.

This is not a new sentiment, really.

Roloff and Marek have been very serious for awhile now.

However, they took a rather major step over this past weekend when Amy took Chris to her native state of Michigan.

(As all fans of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette know well, such hometown visits often preclude a proposal.)

“So happy I got to show Chris my favorite place to go to in Michigan, besides my folks cabin,” wrote the TLC personality as a caption to the image above, adding:

“Had the best time and made such a memory together. We’ll be back! #puremichigan #homestate #amyrandchrism #amyssecondactcontinues.”

You’ll be back, huh?

Like… for a wedding?!?

After not featuring Chris in a few Instagram photos for a bit, Amy was forced to address break-up rumors recently.

In short, her response was simple: the couple is anything but broken up. They are very much together.

For whatever reason, however, many Little People, Big World fans refuse to accept this relationship for what it is.

They think Marek has sinister motives; that he’s only dating Amy for her fame and her fortune, even though:

1. He has never given us any reason to think this.


2. Let’s face it: she isn’t that rich or that famous.

But irrational social media users do not care.

They continue to warn Roloff about how Marek is a “wolf” and how his interest in her is all about “[money.]”

To wit:

Amy and ex-husband Matt Roloff divorced well over two years ago, following about 27 years of marriage.

They still star on Little People, Big World together, however, and still run their family business together.

Matt is dating Caryn Chandler and may also soon get engaged and the tension between exes is obvious at times.

But they remain pretty darn amicable, all relationships and awkward situations considering.

“I never thought I’d be dating as a grandma,” Amy said during the most recent season of her TLC reality series, adding that while she’d love a “lifetime” relationship, she wasn’t looking to make things so permanent with Marek just yet.

She is in no rush to walk down the aisle again.

It’s certainly possible that day never comes.

That doesn’t mean Amy won’t stick it to Marek haters, though, when their clams come out and it doesn’t mean she won’t rule put the possibility of getting hitched again.

But why worry a lot about the future?

Why not just enjoy the present as much as one can?

And, for the record, Amy’s kids approve.

“Chris seems like a good guy,” son Zach said on a Little People, Big World episode this spring, adding:

“He seems pretty straight, level-headed, not fake. That’s why I like him, because he doesn’t try to be my best friend. He’s not overly aggressive. He’s cordial, and he’s just a normal dude.”

We concur.

Big Brother Recap: Two Alliances Form as a Romance Hits the Rocks

Big Brother is slowly picking up the pace, but there are still some big issues with this new season. 

The casting is way off, with several unlikable players. There are a few that genuinely seem like they are there to win and that’s problematic. 

We picked up moments after current Head of Household; Tyler nominated both Sam and Steve for eviction in week one. 

Tyler was a bit too emotional about making the decision, but we quickly learned this was all part of his elaborate plan to lay low. The good thing about Tyler is that he knows how the game is played. 

Sam was mad that Tyler put her on the block after she opened up to him about being on the outs with everyone. Like Tyler, Sam was playing the long con and making people think she was upset. 

While that was all going down, Kaycee was struggling to come to terms with her punishment. It was ruining her social game because the producers were mostly able to keep her in one room for as long as they wanted. 

The good news for her is that she’s part of the Level Six alliance which also includes Winston, Tyler, Brett, Angela, and Rachel. Together, they will be able to dominate the game. 

But all of that depends on whether they can remain loyal to each other. Big alliances always have a weak link who gets too paranoid about the hierarchy of the alliance and ultimately wind up spilling the beans to everyone else. 

For Tyler, this alliance was golden because he knew it was filled with competitors who could keep him safe in week two after his HOH reign comes to a close. 

Then there was Swaggy C and Bayliegh who seem poised to be hot and cold all summer long. Showmances are a big no-no in the Big Brother house because it means you’re playing the game as a pair. 

Swaggy is concerned that Bayliegh is a distraction from him, and he has a point. But then again, Bayliegh is the only one who knows how to keep him quiet when he’s shouting the odds at everyone in the house. 

Swaggy’s issue, however, seems to be that he’s as dumb as a bag of rocks. He wants to get the floaters out of the game early on, and that’s silly. The floaters are the most impressionable players in the game. 

They can be swing votes further in the game. Despite this, Swaggy wants to use his “brains” to form an alliance. 

As we previously reported in our Big Brother Spoilers, Faisyal won the “Hamazon” power in the Big Brother App Store, meaning he was given ham on an almost minutely basis. 

But due to his religion, he was given a substitute. Sam emerged with the bonus life power which allowed her a shot at returning to the game if she was eliminated in the first three evictions. 

She is also allowed to pass on the power. It does, however, come with a huge caveat: If she does not use it in the first three evictions, the fourth eliminated houseguest is automatically handed it. 

Okay then.

Matt Roloff: I"m Ready to Take Caryn Chandler Romance to the "Next Level!"

On this past Tuesday night’s episode of Little People, Big World, Matt Roloff made headlines for something he is NOT going to do.

After giving it much consideration and speaking to his loved ones about the possibility, Roloff decided not to run for political office.

But the veteran TLC personality also revealed something else about himself on this same installment, something that it sounds like he WILL be doing in the near future.

And that something is this:

Marrying Caryn Chandler!

This is mere speculation on our part at the moment, although there have been rumors flying around for weeks that Roloff is engaged to Chandler, who formerly worked as his family’s farm manager.

Lost in the aforementioned political talk from the latest episode of this reality series, however, is something the Roloff patriarch said about his girlfriend of over a year.

“Caryn and I are looking to invest in property [in Arizona],” Matt said on air, confirming our report that he’ll be moving down south for at least part of the year.

This is the first time Roloff has acknowledged that Chandler is a key aspect of that plan, however.

And he wasn’t done talking about the couple’s clearly very serious future.

“Amy and I have a lot of assets in the farm, so it’s really important that I start investing some of my personal money off the farm and really just having my own path that’s separate from Amy,” Matt continued, adding:

“I feel very committed to Caryn.

“Caryn and I are going on this adventure together, we are on this great track. So the idea of us having a vacation home that we share together, it’s interesting.

“I think we are going to take our relationship to the next level.”

There it is. The next level.

This may mean an engagement. This may simply mean co-habitating with each other.

But, either way, it’s the latest sign that Chandler will be in Matt’s life for a long, long time going forward.

This has caused some tension between Matt and Amy, naturally, because they were married for 26 years and have four kids together.

They also co-own the farm we cited above and Amy was pretty close to Chandler before she started to date her ex-husband.

Amy, meanwhile, is involved with Chris Marek. This relationship is also pretty serious.

However, unlike Matt with Caryn, Amy said on a recent episode that she will not really consider Marek when pondering her next step in life.

“Chris is an important person in my life, but I have no set agenda – or time limit – on how we move forward,” she said.

Amy went on to admit that she has also considered a move off the farm, regardless of whether she ends up with Marek for good or not:

“I mean, look how much stuff I still have to figure out in my life.

“So until I solidify certain other things that are going on in my life, I don’t want Chris to get involved.”

Interesting contrast between Roloffs here, huh?

Dominique Potter Spills ALL the Kailyn Lowry Romance Tea

Dominique Potter is ready to drop some truth bombs.

This substitute teacher had been living a quiet life, far away from the celebrity gossip spotlight, when she started dated Teen Mom 2 cast member Kailyn Lowry in late 2017.

How did the two meet?

When did they officially become an item?

Why did they split up?

Amidst a flurry of Teen Mom 2 news, views and controversy, Potter sat down and spoke at length with Radar Online regarding her past (and present) with Lowry.

This is a rundown of what she said and where they stand…

1. When Did They Meet?

About two years ago, Potter said to open her chat with Radar, at a “private event in” New Jersey. She didn’t offer many more details, but did confirm the pair were just friends for awhile.

2. When Did They Start Dating?

Potter knows the exact date: “We went to Atlanta the second week of November. November 14 was the actual day. She wanted the title,” Dom explained to Radar, referring, we assume, to the title of “girlfriend.” This is when they became exclusive.

3. Is That Accurate, Kailyn?

Yes. Lowry said basically the same thing on a podcast with Lindsie Chrisley in November. The two even posed for some photos together on social media around this time.

4. They Looked Happy, But…

“We weren’t dating anybody else. Any time she thought I was speaking to somebody, she was quick to ask what I was doing,” Potter now says, making it clear there was always tension between the girlfriend. “There were a couple of times she questioned if I was cheating on her. I wasn’t seeing anyone else. I can’y say the same for her.”

5. Then, Things Got REALLY Weird

Potter explains that she read about the couple breaking up online and asked Kailyn where those rumors came from, considering she thought they were still committed. “I questioned her about it and she said just leave it alone,” Dom tells Radar. “I went with that. Whatever she said, I believed it.”

6. They Took a Temporary Break in February

Due to “trust issues,” Potter says. But the split only lasted a week. It was really just a hiatus.

Amy Roloff: Blindsided by Matt Roloff Rebound Romance!

For the record, Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff got divorced back in the spring of 2016.

Both have moved on to long-lasting, happy relationships and neither has anything especially negative to say about the other in public.

So why are we often writing about tension between the exes? Why does a new report chronicle Amy’s reaction to Matt’s post-marriage romance?

Because the latest run of Little People, Big World episodes have focused on this exact issue, that’s why.

On Tuesday night, for example, Amy and Matt clashed over the business aspect of their relationship, with Matt’s girlfriend having to get involved because she actually manages the family farm.

(Her name is Caryn Chandler and she knew Amy very well before jumping into bed with Matt. Awkward, right?!?!?)

Even though Amy is very happy with boyfriend Chris Marek, she’s acknowledged here and there that it’s weird for Matt to have moved on with Caryn.

“Of course that’s hurtful,” Amy said on air last year, while Chandler said just this past week:

“I don’t want to invade anyone’s space, and the moment Amy doesn’t want me coming around anymore, I won’t.”

Accoring to a new Radar Online report, meanwhile, the reason this situation is so full of tension is because Amy was taken by complete surprise when Matt started dating Caryn.

The romance began pretty shortly after she and Matt filed for divorce.

But feelings may have been developed before then.

“Their bond definitely happened over the years,” an insider said of Matt and Caryn, who recently quit working for the family after 10 years.

So why was Amy so taken aback when the pair started dating?

Explains this Radar source:

“Caryn became this person that Matt felt understood how important the farm was to him, because she was there helping him run the day to day operations.

“But it’s not fair to Amy, she was there raising his kids and running the house, and doing the other half of the duties.”

On the whole, it’s difficult to debate that Matt and Amy have handled their break-up as well as possible.

They continue to work side by side on the farm and also on their TLC reality show, all while dating other people AND living on the same property.

How many people could pull this off, remain sane and remain mostly scandal-free?

It was nearly two years ago exactly when the reality stars released the following statement, confirming their divorce:

After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce.

We are proud of what we have accomplished together, including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful business.

Matt and Amy no longer share a bed. But they get along mostly well and share two precious grandkids!

This statement was released in June 2016, but the pair had been living apart since early 2014.

“Last year, it was long and tough,” Matt said by way of explanation on the couple’s reality show around this time, adding:

“Amy and I had a lot of tensions, so right around Thanksgiving, I thought I would move over to the [guest] house for a little bit…Amy and I stuck it out for years when maybe we shouldn’t have.

“I never quite felt at home in my own home, so something needed to change.”

As documented below, Matt is finally thinking of leaving this guest house and finding his own place.

Javi Marroquin Confirms New Romance, Admits He Still Isn"t Over Briana DeJesus

Over the past few days, nearly every member of the Teen Mom 2 cast hasn’t had to worry about getting a sunburn.

This is because they’ve had shade hurled at them from practically every direction.

Kailyn Lowry is feuding with Briana DeJesus. Chelsea Houska is storming off reunion sets. Jenelle Evans isn’t showing up for tapings.

Even by the scandalous standards of this MTV series, it’s been quite a wild week.

But not for Javi Marroquin!

Lowry’s baby daddy and Briana’s ex-boyfriend has been pretty darn quiet while chaos breaks out all around him, despite the fact that Kailyn and Briana are basically at odds over him.

(For the record: Javi got divorced from Kailyn in 2016. He then dated DeJesus for a few months toward the end of 2017.

Sources now claim that Lowry admitted at this past weekend’s Teen Mom 2 reunion that she and Javi hooked up shortly after his romance with Briana ended.)

Indeed, while most of the women on Teen Mom 2 are at each other’s throats right now, Javi has been sort of sitting back and staying out of it.

Until, that is, he sat down with MTV on Monday night as part of the Teen Mom 2 after-show.

He was asked in this Q&A about yet another romance, his latest, the one that started with yet another ex-girlfriend just a couple months ago.

Is he really back together with Lauren Comeau?

Yes.

For the first time in public, Marroquin has acknowledged this relationship.

“Me and Lauren dated last summer, but it was just bad timing and we both had a lot going on,” Marroquin revealed, adding:

“And then we just rekindled, she texted me, and we were talking for a little bit. Then we hung out and the chemistry was still there, and now we’re together.”

Why would Comeau take Javi back, following chatter last year that he cheated on her?

We can’t say. But he says it won’t happen again.

When the MTV host mentioned last night that Marroquin moves quickly from relationship to relationship, the reality star didn’t dispute this assessment.

“I’m trying to get over the ex,” he said rather candidly.

We assume this was a reference to DeJesus, only because he and Lowry split such a long time ago.

It was seen as a pretty big deal back when Briana and Javi started dating, but the romance didn’t last long.

It concluded in January; not on the worst terms of all-time, but not on the most amicable, either.

“Javi and I are not together anymore,” DeJesus told Blasting News at the time, adding:

“Our future just doesn’t line up. He doesn’t want me to get my surgery for a breast lift, lipo, and tummy tuck because it’ll look bad on his name at work.

“Also, I don’t plan on moving in with him in the summer and for these reasons, he broke up with me.”

Added Marroquin several weeks ago, following this Briana break-up:

“Unfortunately it didn’t work out for us. Bri is an amazing person with the biggest heart I’ve ever got to hold. Everything she goes through and she’s still selfless and does her best to please others.

“She’s got a bright future and she’ll make any guy feel special.”

Wow, huh?

Should Lauren be a little jealous here?

Maybe. But things appear pretty serious between Javi and Comeau, considering they actually went on vacation with the former’s son.

Will they actually get married and buy a house together, as Briana claims Javi wanted to do with her?

Only time will tell.

Angelina Jolie Wants THIS Actor for Her "Revenge Romance"

Angelina Jolie has heard all the rumors.

She’s read all the celebrity gossip sites.

She knows that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston may soon make babies together.

But a new report claims the famous actress has a plan to get back at her estranged husband for his possibly rekindled romance.

She’s figured out exactly how to attack Pitt where it may hurt him the most:

By sleeping with a guy who sort of looks just like him!

According to Radar Online, Jolie has been in contact with Garrett Hedlund, a 33-year old actor who is very easy on the eyes.

And he apparently thinks there’s something between himself and Jolie, or is at least confident that something could happen between the stars, considering his alleged aggression.

“It’s gone from exchanging the odd email to texting several times a day and planning to meet up for dinner,” claims an insider of the connection between Jolie and Hedlund, adding:

“It’s Garrett who’s making all the moves!”

Hedlund dated actress Kirsten Dunst for four years after they met on the set of 2012’s On the Road.

He also actually co-starred with Pitt way back in 2004 in Troy and he grew close to Jolie after she cast him in Unbroken a decade later.

Might these two really end up dating? Or at least banging?

“Angie’s incredibly flattered and enjoying Garrett’s attention,” Radar writes.

The website then goes on to compare Hedlund with Pitt:

“He’s like a younger, hotter Brad and she’s confessed to a couple of girlfriends that she’d be up for a fling with him. It would be the ultimate revenge romance!”

Well, let’s be honest here:

If Pitt really does get back together with Aniston, that will be the ultimate revenge romance.

It will be the ultimate revenge romance to end ALL revenge romances.

Within seconds of Internet users learning that Aniston was splitting from husband Justin Theroux, pretty much anyone with a Twitter account was assuming Pitt and Aniston would start getting it on once again.

That would be cool with us, but not nearly as cool as the flipside:

What if Jolie and Theroux decided to sleep together?!?

Yes, this is another rumor making the World Wide Web rounds.

“Angelina is interested in working with Theroux, she actually put feelers out before he and Jennifer’s split,” Hollywood Life wrote about a month ago, adding:

“Apparently she’s a big fan of The Leftovers.

“When Justin and Jennifer were together no one expected it to happen, but now that they’ve split the chances of him saying yes to Angelina are way up.”

Yes, this report claims Angelina just wants to work with Justin.

But she merely worked with Pitt on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and we all know what transpired from there, right?

Meghan Markle"s Sister: Is She Trying to Cash In On the Royal Romance?!

These days, when one hears Meghan Markle’s name mentioned in the press, it’s usually alongside some breathless exclamation about how “the whole world is in love” with Prince Harry’s bride-to-be.

Unfortunately for Meg, there’s at least one iconoclastic holdout who refuses to share the opinion of Harry and the other 7 billion or so inhabitants of Earth who think Ms. Markle is just the bee’s knees.

Long before Harry and Meghan’s engagement was announced, Samantha Markle began throwing shade at her half-sister’s relationship like it was her job.

And in a way, we suppose it is.

Meghan’s shady sister has made a career out of tearing the actress down in interviews, and she’s soon to publish a memoir with the hilariously un-subtle title of The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister.

Among other wildly salacious claims, Samantha writes in the book that Meghan severed their relationship because Samantha’s physical disability clashed with her posh lifestyle.

Obviously, if that were true, it would forever change the way we look at Meghan.

But it’s clearly not, so no need to worry.

These days, Samantha is on a non-stop press tour, attempting to extend her fame into 16th-minute territory in the final months before Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

Unfortunately for her, most of her media appearances are painfully awkward affairs that basically consist of the interviewer going, “But seriously, WTF is your problem?”

Accused of cashing in on her sister’s fame during a recent appearance on the UK’s Channel 5, Samantha had this to say in her defense:

“I think the term ‘cash in’ is a low blow. I think any of us who have experiences and feelings, positive, warm, insightful or otherwise and we are able to share them apparently—I wouldn’t say that it’s we’re cashing in because there’s certainly a large audience and market of people who are interested and curious.

“So why not share information that is socially and historically valuable? I feel like it’s kind of a service to do that.”

Oh, so she’s performing a service by publicly portraying the sister she’s had no contact with in the past decade as the worst kind of monster. Got it.

As for that horrendous title, Samantha says the whole world has it all wrong:

“People have taken the title so literally, and I think that’s funny,” she said.

“I chose the title because I was more making a mockery of tabloids who, at one point, called my sister Princess Pushy. The opposite is true. And so I thought, you know, to make fun of that and illustrate that she really is not, I’m going to choose that title and run with it.”

Ah, yes. Foolish tabloids. Why would they think a book that insults its subject in the freaking title is some sort of hit piece?!

Clearly, Samantha is a completely well-adjusted grownup who simply wants to celebrate her sister’s engagement in the traditional fashion–by publicly denigrating her in exchange for money.

So stop judging her! You people are acting just like Princess Pushy!

Matt Rolff Flaunts Romance with Caryn Chandler, Gets Put on Blast

Matt Roloff and Amy Roloff have been divorced for 18 months now.

And they’ve been separated for even longer than that.

Still, however, neither have of this former couple has been able to fully move on without fans of Little People, Big World expressing their irritated two cents.

Heck, sometimes it’s even two or three cents.

We’ve seen this many times over the past few months when it comes to Amy and her relationship with Chris Marek.

Remember when she was dragged for going on vacation with Marek because their trip coincided with Audrey Roloff’s due date?

Just three weeks ago, meanwhile, Amy had to defend Marek against a bunch of Internet haters, actually kind of insulting her own reality series in the process.

“Try not to make quick assumptions about anyone from what you see on an edited show,” she told critics.

Now, Matt is the one feeling the burn of the World Wide Web.

In light of this holiday season, along with his successful relationship with Caryn Chandler, Matt shared the photo above on Instagram and included with it the following caption:

I want to stop and take some time out to wish you all a Happy Holiday season.

No matter where you are, I hope you appreciate the little things and special time with your loved ones.

Caryn gave me the okay to post this photo we have from dinner last night here in Arizona..

I’ve had a great few days here full of sunshine and R&R but I sure can’t wait to see those grand babies of mine tomorrow.

Matt rarely takes this step.

He rarely flaunts his romance with Chandler, possibly because he knows there’s some controversy behind it.

See, Caryn worked as the Roloff Farm Manager for awhile.

She has been close to the family for a long time and she knows Amy pretty well.

So it’s understandable why Matt’s relationship with her would be frowned upon a bit… and that’s before we even get to the way Chandler has allegedly treated Amy.

Caryn supposedly snubbed Amy while organizing a birthday party for her boyfriend last month.

It has also led to a divided fan base.

There’s a segment of Little People, Big World viewers who feel a need to take sides between Amy and Matt, even if the former spouses appear to get along just fine.

“I am team Amy. Matt seems to be a bully in a relationship,” wrote one critic, seemingly out of nowhere.

This person added: “I think it’s time for the family to get real jobs. Not reality TV.”

Another took one look at the picture of Matt and Caryn and just wrote: “Disgusting!!!!!”

Some fans, meanwhile, wondered whether Chandler is in the relationship for the right reasons.

“Her official title is farm manager,” one follower speculated. “She knows everything, including financials. I do hope, for his sake and his heart, that she’s sincere.”

Wow.

Can’t say we even thought about that sort of scenario before.

Kailyn Lowry: Confirming Becky Hayter Romance?

Kailyn Lowry has a lot going on these days.

You’d think being a reality star and single mother of three who’s currently applying to graduate school programs would keep Kailyn pretty tuckered out.

But the girl’s got as much hustle as she has heart, and she’s putting both to good use these days.

Yesterday, Kailyn announced a new TV show that she’s been working on (Don’t worry; it doesn’t look like she any intention of quitting Teen Mom 2).

Today, she gave a remarkably candid interview to Radar Online, in which she opened up about some rumors that have been plaguing her for quite some time.

Primarily, it seems Kailyn wanted to address the reports that she cheated on Javi Marroquin while he was deployed overseas with the U.S. Air Force.

“I definitely did not cheat when Javi was deployed,” Lowry told Radar in no uncertain terms.

“I actually feel bad that he feels the need to say that. I feel like that’s more of a relevancy thing. Like he feels the need to bash me in order to be the good guy.”

Clearly, it’s an issue that had been on Kailyn’s mind for quite a while, and it seems it’s important to her that fans are 100 percent clear on that fact.

It seems part of the confusion stems from the fact that Kailyn admits she did sleep with a friend of Javi’s around the time of her divorce from Javi, but in that case, as well, it seems the facts have been misrepresented by the media.

For one thing, Kailyn says, the dalliance with a female friend of Javi’s didn’t take place until after she and Javi were legally separated.

On top of that, it wasn’t just some random, as some have claimed, but a woman that Kailyn describes as her “best friend.”

Kailyn  confirmed the news himself, while taping Marriage Boot Camp with Javi:

“It was my best friend first and it was a girl,” Lowry revealed.

“I’ve known her since I was in high school. When we got divorced they ended up being best friends. I think that was the misunderstanding people don’t necessarily know.”

Fans immediately thought of Becky Hayter, who Kailyn has described as her best friend on several occadsion.

That’s one possibility, but there’s also Christina “Peach” Pietrobon, who’s become a very close friend of Javi’s since his divorce.

Here’s hoping Kailyn will offer some more information for her most obsessive fans in the near future.

Sue Bird Comes Out as Gay, Confirms Romance with Megan Rapinoe

Sue Bird, one of the best female basketball players of all-time, has come out as gay.

In an interview with espnW, the WNBA legend revealed publicly for the first time what she says family members and friends have known for a very long time.

“I’m gay,” she told the website simply.

Moreover, Bird said she is dating U.S. soccer star Megan Rapinoe (below), who came out herself way back in 2012.

“Megan’s my girlfriend,” said Bird, who starred in college for the University of Connecticut.

“These aren’t secrets to people who know me. I don’t feel like I’ve not lived my life. I think people have this assumption that if you’re not talking about it, you must be hiding it, like it’s this secret.

“That was never the case for me.”

Bird was the first overall pick of the 2002 WNBA Draft. She led UConn to an undefeated season that year and was named College Player of the Year.

She’s been selected to nine WNBA All-Star teams, led that league in assists on three occasions, earned two WNBA titles and four Olympic Gold Medals.

In 2011, she was voted by fans as one of the WNBA’s Top 15 Players of All Time and was voted one of the WNBA’s top 20 players of all-time.

He resume is unassailable.

Bird is not the first big-time women’s basketball player to come out as gay. Elena Delle Donne made a similar announcement last summer, for example.

And another former top pick, Brittney Griner, also opened up about her homosexuality in 2013.

Even prior to this public announcement, Bird stood in strong support of those who blazed a trail for her.

“It’s more about stigmas than anything else, and I think with those stigmas you have people who are going to be judged,” Bird told USA Today’s Sam Amick last year.

She elaborated at the time:

“I think on the men’s side, they’re not quite there yet. Jason Collins, for him to do that, particularly in the basketball world, he was the one who kind of broke down the barrier.

“And maybe in the future, it’ll change.

“But I think right now there’s still that stigma. I would love for it to change, because it’s really not that big of a deal in all reality.”

Why did she make this confirmation right now?

“It’s happening when it’s happening because that’s what feels right,” Bird told ESPN.

“So even though I understand there are people who think I should have done it sooner, it wasn’t right for me at the time. I have to be true to that.

“It’s my journey.”

Kailyn Lowry: Alleged Boyfriend Finally Addresses Romance Rumors!

Kailyn Lowry has a lot on her plate these days.

In addition to the fact that Lowry is expecting her third child, she’s coping with a whole slew of professional and academic pressures that seem to be taking their toll.

Kailyn is soon to earn her bachelor’s degree from Delaware State University and she’s already planning to enter graduate school.

On top of that, the speculation surrounding Kailyn’s love life has been non-stop in the months since she announced that she’s expecting.

First, there were questions about the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy.

Now, we know that it was Chris Lopez who got Kailyn pregnant, but there are still questions about who, if anyone, Kailyn is dating these days.

Kailyn has made it clear that she is not in a relationship with Lopez, but there’s some disagreement as to exactly what happened there.

(Lowry has indicated that they were in a relationship at one point, while sources close to Lopez claim that it was nothing more than a fling.)

So for a time, it was widely assumed that Kailyn was single.

Last week, however, several sources claimed that Kailyn a photograph of Kailyn lying in bed with a shirtless man made the rounds on social media.

Initially, neither Kailyn nor the mystery man had anything to say about the situation, but now the unidentified bed-mate – identified only as “DJ” – has come forward to clarify the nature of his relationship to the Teen Mom 2 star:

“Kail and I are friends,” DJ told Radar Online in a statement issued moments ago.

“Just friends,” he reiterated.

Lowry has yet to speak out on the matter, but insiders close to the 25-year-old corroborate DJ’s story:

“She was in bed because her feet were swollen,” one source tells Radar.

“DJ was in LA for something else and hung out with her.”

One person who seems less than convinced, however, is Kailyn’s second baby daddy, Javi Marroquin.

Asked to comment on his ex’s recent alleged bed-hopping, Javi had only this to say:

“It’s just sad. It makes me sad for the boys. I have nothing else to say about her.”

Scott Disick: PISSED Over Kourtney Kardashian-Younes Bendjima Romance

As has been proven over the years, Scott Disick doesn’t typically need a reason to get drunk.

But, following the news that Kourtney Kardashian is back to banging Younes Bendjima, the reality star now has an excuse for going on an epic bender if he so desires.

Earlier this week, photos emerged online of Kourtney going on a lunch date with Bendjima in West Hollywood.

The mother of three and the professional boxer-turned-model allegedly met during Paris Fashion Week in October and were first spotted together last fall.

None other than E! News, an outlet keenly aware of all things Kardashian, confirm that something is going on between the 38-year old and her 23-year old fling.

“Kourtney and Younes have seen each other several times in the last week,” a source tells E!. “Its been casual, but they are really getting to know each other and having fun.”

In other words: Kardashian and Bendjima have been taking trips to Boom Town. Frequently.

Multiple sources have stated that Bendjima was actually out with Kourtney on the night her sister, Kim Kardashian, got robbed at gunpoint in Paris.

This created a bond with which not even Disick can compete.

“He was really helpful and supportive during that time,” the insider tells E!, noting that they’ve been seeing each other here and there ever since.

Don’t bother listening for wedding bells.

Things aren’t that serious just yet. However…

“Kourtney really likes him and will text him to meet up whenever she has time without her kids,” this mole says, adding of their recent meet-up:

“They had lunch on Wednesday at Zinque [restaurant] in West Hollywood and then briefly stopped into an art gallery to look at art…

“They were holding hands and seemed cozy.”

As you might expect, this development does not sit well with Disick, who wants to be the only man on whose face Kourtney sits.

“Scott doesn’t like Kourtney dating Younes at all,” another source shares with E!.

“He doesn’t want to see photos of them or know about it. Kourtney has tried to give Scott a heads up that he might be seeing photos, but Scott can’t stand seeing her with someone else, especially Younes.”

It certainly does seem as if Kourtney is flaunting the romance at the moment.

She had to know paparazzi cameras would snap her strolling the streets of Los Angeles with Bendjima.

Kardashian and Disick, of course, are the parents of three kids.

To their credit, they’ve been able to look past their personal issues over the years and spend a lot of quality time as a family; either at home for birthday parties or on vacations as a group.

All this time spent together has continued to spark rumors of a reconciliation.

But that clearly isn’t in the cards any time soon.

“Whether they are together or not, Scott gets really jealous when he sees or hears about Kourtney with anyone,” E! writes. “He’ll always love her, regardless of their status.”

What about Disick’s love life?

Is he getting it on with anyone at the moment?

“He’s hanging out with a few girls, but it’s very casual,” the insider says.

“He’s going out less and having people over at his house. French Montana just moved next door to Scott, and they are pretty close and hanging out.”

Okay. That’s weird and kind of incestuous, considering Montana used to date Khloe Kardashian. But whatever.
