Blake Horstmann: I Was Blindsided, Broken by Becca Kufrin
Blake Horstmann will live to love another day.
For awhile, however, it didn’t feel that way.
On Monday evening, the world got to witness what Blake went through many months ago while filming the season finale of The Bachelorette.
That is, we got to witness his total and complete heartbreak at the hands of Becca Kufrin.
Despite being a seemingly very nice guy, and despite never having Liked anti-immigrant and anti-transgender Instagram posts, like certain other suitors, Blake was sent home last night.
He didn’t take the dismissal well, either, crying pretty hard in from the Kufrin and the camera.
Can you blame the guy? The woman he believed to be his soulmate decided she wants someone else to propose to her instead.
That has to hurt.
“It was a big blindside,” Horstmann tells People Magazine, explaining that he saw himself as the favorite and that he was all set to pop the big question:
“I truly thought that if it came down to me proposing, that she wouldn’t say no. I thought what we had was real.”
We really are sorry, Blake.
If it’s any consolation, and we have no idea why it would be to be honest, we were totally rooting for you.
After being given the boot by Becca, Horstmann confesses it was “incredibly hard” to get over the heartbreak.
“It made for some really hard days, but I had a great support system,” he added to People.
“My family was amazing. We talked through a lot of things and they were there for me.”
We’re so glad to hear this. At the end of the day, nothing is more important than family.
Thankfully, Blake said that filming the After the Rose special (which also aired on ABC last night) allowed for some “closure” and that he won’t be pursuing Kufrin any longer.
“She’s an engaged woman and I want to respect that,” he says.
“And she’s very happy and I’m grateful for that. There’s no point in focusing on it when there is no future there.”
How true.
But what about Blake’s future on reality television?
It must be asked: Would he be willing to be the next Bachelor?
“I know this can work and if the opportunity presented itself, it would be something I would consider,” Horstmann says.
Oh, Becca: Did you really make the right choice when you selected Garrett over Blake?
Last year, Arie Luyendyk Jr. wasn’t named as the new Bachelor until a month after the previous Bachelorette season concluded.
So we may have a little bit until we learn whether Blake or another scorned suitor lands this sought-after role.
Would you want to see Horstmann as the Bachelor? Or would you prefer Jason Tartick?
Sound off now!
Big Brother Spoilers: Who Got Blindsided?
Bayliegh Dayton’s power app has been the topic of the conversation in the Big Brother house ever since Brett Robinson threw her under the bus for it during Thursday’s live eviction.
The power in question allows Bayliegh to hijack the nominations, and put two people of her choosing on the block at the nominations ceremony.
The major caveat with the power is that she has to use the power before the reigning HOH announces their own batch of nominees.
Bayliegh was quick to turn to Angela Rummans, who is the HOH for this week, to tell her that she will not use her power because she knows that she is safe.
But Angela is working with Tyler Crispen, Brett, Kaycee Clark and Sam Bledsoe, and knows fine well that Bayliegh and her power is a huge threat.
With the hacker twist being thrown in, and Tyler being thrown on the block, Angela was quick to float the idea that Bayliegh was the hacker and wanted to mess up the game.
At the veto competition, Angela slid into victory, meaning she actually got to have all the power for her HOH reign.
She tried her best to keep Bayliegh under the assumption that she was not putting her up as the backdoor target.
Bayliegh wanted Scottie Salton put up on the block because she claimed he was untrustworthy. However, unbeknownst to Bayliegh, Tyler and Angela told Scottie everything Bayliegh and her side of the house said about Scottie.
Angela even cut a deal with him to keep him free from the block if he votes with Level 6 and keeps her safe if he’s in power next week.
Scottie was happy to do so, and Angela blindsided Bayliegh by removing Tyler from the block and putting the flight attendant up in his place.
In the immediate aftermath, Angela locked herself in the HOH room, and Bayliegh rushed up to find out why she was lied to.
Angela kept the door locked and yelled through that she did not want to talk to her. A frustrated Bayliegh made her way downstairs to pack her belongings and complained that Angela thinking her being the hacker was ridiculous.
FYI: Bayliegh had no idea that Haleigh was the one who won the hacker competition.
Bayliegh then turned her attention to Rockstar, saying that helping her get off the block was the reason for her being on the block or something.
Kaycee struggled to keep it together because she felt bad about the way things went down with Bayliegh. Kaycee walked around the house crying, and Bayliegh ultimately lets her know she was not mad at her.
Tyler was then cornered by Bayliegh, who said: “I swear I’m not that Hacker and it was ever my plan to backdoor you.”
In all honesty, Bayliegh is playing the innocent card when viewers (and the other houseguests, for that matter) know she was scheming to get her own way.
Haleigh still has the power to eliminate one of the votes, but Level Six will still have the majority and Bayliegh will be heading out the door on Thursday.

Amy Roloff: Blindsided by Matt Roloff Rebound Romance!
For the record, Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff got divorced back in the spring of 2016.
Both have moved on to long-lasting, happy relationships and neither has anything especially negative to say about the other in public.
So why are we often writing about tension between the exes? Why does a new report chronicle Amy’s reaction to Matt’s post-marriage romance?
Because the latest run of Little People, Big World episodes have focused on this exact issue, that’s why.
On Tuesday night, for example, Amy and Matt clashed over the business aspect of their relationship, with Matt’s girlfriend having to get involved because she actually manages the family farm.
(Her name is Caryn Chandler and she knew Amy very well before jumping into bed with Matt. Awkward, right?!?!?)
Even though Amy is very happy with boyfriend Chris Marek, she’s acknowledged here and there that it’s weird for Matt to have moved on with Caryn.
“Of course that’s hurtful,” Amy said on air last year, while Chandler said just this past week:
“I don’t want to invade anyone’s space, and the moment Amy doesn’t want me coming around anymore, I won’t.”
Accoring to a new Radar Online report, meanwhile, the reason this situation is so full of tension is because Amy was taken by complete surprise when Matt started dating Caryn.
The romance began pretty shortly after she and Matt filed for divorce.
But feelings may have been developed before then.
“Their bond definitely happened over the years,” an insider said of Matt and Caryn, who recently quit working for the family after 10 years.
So why was Amy so taken aback when the pair started dating?
Explains this Radar source:
“Caryn became this person that Matt felt understood how important the farm was to him, because she was there helping him run the day to day operations.
“But it’s not fair to Amy, she was there raising his kids and running the house, and doing the other half of the duties.”
On the whole, it’s difficult to debate that Matt and Amy have handled their break-up as well as possible.
They continue to work side by side on the farm and also on their TLC reality show, all while dating other people AND living on the same property.
How many people could pull this off, remain sane and remain mostly scandal-free?
It was nearly two years ago exactly when the reality stars released the following statement, confirming their divorce:
After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce.
We are proud of what we have accomplished together, including raising four wonderful children who have grown to become remarkable adults and building our strong and ongoing successful business.
Matt and Amy no longer share a bed. But they get along mostly well and share two precious grandkids!
This statement was released in June 2016, but the pair had been living apart since early 2014.
“Last year, it was long and tough,” Matt said by way of explanation on the couple’s reality show around this time, adding:
“Amy and I had a lot of tensions, so right around Thanksgiving, I thought I would move over to the [guest] house for a little bit…Amy and I stuck it out for years when maybe we shouldn’t have.
“I never quite felt at home in my own home, so something needed to change.”
As documented below, Matt is finally thinking of leaving this guest house and finding his own place.
With Chandler as his wife? Possibly!

Celebrity Big Brother Recap: Did Shannon Elizabeth Get Blindsided?
There was a lot at stake for the houseguests on the latest episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
When the episode got underway, Omarosa and Keshia were on the block and wondering which one of them would be exiting the house.
While it seemed like one of those two houseguests were leaving, Ross, Brandi, Ariadna, and Marissa floated the idea of evicting Shannon via the back door.
This was fueled by paranoia because everyone was growing concerned that Shannon was getting closer and closer to working with James.
Not helping matters was Omarosa, who was vocal to Ross about not being mad that he threw her up on the block.
Omarosa knows how to manipulate situations, and that’s why she’s such a big threat. She and Shannon are about as scary as each other.
The odd thing about all of it was that Marissa was getting excited about the prospect of even taking Shannon out. They knew each other before the game, but they don’t seem actually to like each other.
“I really Rthought that we would make it to the end together,” Marissa said of Shannon. “I can’t believe I’m actually saying this, but I want to backdoor Shannon.”
The veto competition played out live, and Marissa slid into victory. Just when we thought that Shannon might be getting put on the block, everything changed.
Keshia was missing her child and decided the game was too much for her to deal with. She made an emotional plea to Marissa to keep the nominations the same.
Somehow, news of Shannon being backdoored was doing the rounds, and everyone thought it was going to come to fruition.
Eviction 2 Votes:
- Shannon Elizabeth votes to evict: Keshia
- Ariadna Guiterrez votes to evict: Keshia
- Brandi Glanville votes to evict: Keshia
- James Maslow: votes to evict: Keshia
- Mark McGrath votes to evict: Keshia
- Marissa Jaret Winokur votes to evict: Keshia
- Metta World Peace votes to evict: Keshia
Keshia is the second evicted houseguest!
Omarosa can breathe a sigh of relief, but will she be able to get the houseguests on her side to try and get Shannon out?
We have no idea, but something tells us the producers will be glad Omarosa is still inside the house. She is TV gold.
We still have another two weeks left with the houseguests, so the evictions will likely be ramped up to leave us with our final three.
Shannon should watch her back because Omarosa is going to be gunning for her in retaliation for everything that transpired between them.
What did you think of the episode?

Big Brother Recap: Who Was Blindsided?!?
Jessica Graf has been on the outs with her fellow houseguests for several weeks now, but as is always the case in the Big Brother house, the moment someone rises to power, everyone wants to be their friend.
With Cody back in the mix, Jessica has surprisingly managed to keep her word to the other houseguests, but little did she know that Paul and his troops had been rallying to evict her pawn.
When the episode got underway, Jessica seemed to think that Josh was losing his place in the house. Josh kept up the act very well and even asked Jessica if they can put their beef aside for the week.
Jessica agreed because she thought he was on the way out the door, but her suspicions arose when Kevin informed her that “the kid with the glasses” is going home.
Jessica then rallied the houseguests, and they all seemed firmly on board with taking Josh out. Poor Mark and Elena were not brought into the plan to take Ramses out, so technically they were telling the truth.
When it came to the eviction, Ramses gave a nice speech about loving his time in the house, while Josh started calling Jessica names.
- Cody votes to evict: Josh
- Jason votes to evict: Ramses
- Alex votes to evict: Ramses
- Mark votes to evict: Josh
- Elena votes to evict: Josh
- Kevin votes to evict: Ramses
- Matthew votes to evict: Ramses
- Raven votes to evict: Ramses
- Christmas votes to evict: Ramses
- Paul votes to evict: Ramses
Julie revealed the 7-3 vote to the house and Cody and Jessica seemed like they already knew that was how it was going to play out.
After the eviction, we moved swiftly on to the next Head of Household competition. It was a memory wall challenge, so Christmas managed to compete. They had to identify changes to images of previously evicted houseguests.
- Round 1: Elena is eliminated.
- Round 2: Mark, Alex, Cody, Kevin, & Josh are eliminated.
- Round 3: Everyone stays.
- Round 4: Everyone stays.
- Round 5: Christmas and Jason are eliminated.
- Round 6: Matthew and Raven are eliminated.
- Paul wins!
When we returned to the house, Julie asked Jessica how she felt about the blindside. As expected, she called out her fellow houseguests for lying and said she is thankful she has the Den of Temptation.
Julie then revealed to the audience that as a result of Jessica accepting the temptation, there would be a temptation battle unleashed on the house.
In the next three weeks, there will be a competition that houseguests can choose to participate in. If they come in first place, they are safe for the week.
Conversely, if they come in last place, they will become the third nominee for the week.
Okay, so that’s a wrap on the latest blindside.
What do you think of all the drama?

Christina El Moussa: Blindsided by Tarek! Furious! Ready to Move On!
Christina El Moussa has had it.
She has simply had it.
Earlier this week, we reported that Christina and estranged husband Tarek both wanted to move on from their joint business and pursue some kind of solo project after the current season of Flip or Flip completes filming.
In his effort to take this step, Tarek recently went ahead and dropped Christina from his real estate business, rebranding the agency Tarek and Associates.
But that move was made without Christina’s knowledge.
And she wasn’t happy with the way Tarek handled it.
“Tarek and Christina are keeping it together by a string,” an insider tells Hollywood Life, adding:
“She was blindsided by his new business ad. Their lawyers have been working out splitting up their assets and their joint businesses so she knew it would happen eventually, but not like this.
“He didn’t give her a heads up, which makes her incredibly mad. She’s furious.”
Granted, Christina has reportedly been angling for a HGTV spinoff of her own for quite some time now.
So it’s not as though she wants to keep working with her ex. She just wants the two of them to remain on amicable, mature terms.
Tarek, however, is now circulating ads in Orange County with just his face and name on them, looking to attract new business.
But what about the 2017 Investor Summit in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this month? What about the smiles plastered across Tarek and Christina’s faces while they appeared together in public?
Didn’t this mean all was good between the former couple?
Not quite.
“Tarek and Christina were definitely putting on a show for the public,” a witness said of this event, which took place on Februaty 10.
“When the cameras weren’t pointed at them, the smiles dropped and there was definite tension between them. They did not look happy to be together, at all.
“It’s clear they’re just going through the motions in an attempt to save their show.”
Ah, yes, the show.
The El Moussas are under contract for this season of Flip or Flop.
After they confirmed their split in November, the network released a statement of support, saying it would be happy to keep working with Tarek and Christina for the foreseeable future.
But it seems very unlikely that the series will continue beyond this year, not with damning accusations against Tarek running rampant around the Internet.
“To say that Christina is sick to death of all the Tarek drama would be an understatement,” a second insider tells Hollywood Life, expounding as follows:
“The past year has been nothing but stress and heartbreak for Christina. She desperately wants the divorce finalized so she can finally move on with her life and start afresh.
“Living in this limbo is beyond painful for her and she’s totally done with playing nice for the cameras.”
We can only imagine.
Tarek filed for divorce in December, a couple months after he and Christina issued a joint statement that referenced a troubling incident from last May in which the stars fought… Tarek grabbed a gun… left the house… and was confronted by cops in the woods.
“Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage,” the pair late last year.
“We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed.”
Parents to a young girl and even younger boy, they concluded:
“We are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be.”
Neither Christina or Tarek has said much in public since.
Both have updated their Instagram pages with sweet photos of themselves and their children.
However, the tension remains palpable.
“[Christina and Tarek’s] relationship is really bad and they are only pretending to be nice to one another,” adds another source.
“It’s all an act for the cameras, their fans and more than anyone, producers and network heads who could potentially give them their own solo shows.”

Big Brother Spoilers: Is Tiffany Getting Blindsided?
Things can change pretty quickly in the Big Brother house.
It was only a week ago that the Eight Pack alliance was sitting pretty at the top, but the fractures have already begun to appear and it looks like they could be losing some of their own.
It all started when Victor put Tiffany on the block as his road kill nominee. This was very stupid on his part because there is much bigger fish to fry in the game.
He made his decision final and that’s when Tiffany started her downward spiral. She reminded the houseguests a little too much of her sister, Vanessa.
Paranoia does not look good on Big Brother and she ultimately broke down to her alliance members and made them swear that she wasn’t leaving the game through the back door.
Despite all the assurance in the world, she still didn’t trust her own alliance and that was made clear during the veto competition when she tried to defeat Da’vonne.
Da’vonne made her concerns known to her alliance members and they started questioning whether Tiffany served as an asset to them.
Frank was quick to turn the tables and get the alliance to gun for Tiff, but then Da’vonne did some digging of her own.
She found out that Frank has been making side deals with every person in the house and his final two deals with most of them.
Frank has been overplaying the game and everyone has caught wind of this. Da’vonne set up a meeting with Michelle, Zakiyah and Nicole.
She informed them that it isn’t the time to take Tiffany out and they need her to remain cool with them for the numbers.
That means that Tiffany seems very safe for now and that Victor is back to being this week’s target.
Frank has no idea that everyone in the house knows that he’s a snake, but it won’t be long before someone opens up to him about it.
He was pretty vocal with Nicole, James and Da’vonne about letting his team win the HOH this week so he can go after bigger targets, but Da’vonne told the others to fight for the HOH.
There’s every possibility that Frank would stab his alliance in the back if there was the possibility of another alliance forming that would get him further.
Look for tonight’s vote to evict Victor to be a landslide. Natalie, Bridgette and Paul know where the power in the house lies, so they won’t want to upset the bigger alliance.
What do you think about the latest drama?
Should Tiffany go?

Kim Zolciak: Blindsided By Dancing with the Stars Results!
When the recovering Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s future on last night’s Dancing with the Stars results show was revealed, fans were blindsided.
So, as it turns out, was Kim.
After Kim Zolciak suffered a stroke last week, she was unable to compete in Monday’s episode and will have to leave the competition.
She was stuck at home in Atlanta after being hospitalized, so she couldn’t join partner Tony Dovolani for this week’s episode on ABC.
“It’s the scariest thing I’ve ever been through in my whole life,” she said in a prerecorded segment that aired during the broadcast.
“I’m extremely worried,” Tony Dovolani added.
“I don’t want to risk her life over a dance.”
The two had practiced in her hospital room in hopes that she might make it, but ultimate she did not take the risk of flying to L.A.
Tony performed their planned “I Dream of Jeanie” dance with Jenna Johnson, and then Zolciak appeared via Skype on DWTS.
“I’m really sad,” Kim said of not being able to be there, noting that she was well enough to give dancing a go, but could not fly.
She said if she were in L.A., she would have driven to the event, but alas, being 3,000 miles away forced Zolciak out of DWTS.
Not that she knew about this in advance.
Tom Bergeron delivered the bad news, saying that a health issue or illness preventing a contestant from competing means withdrawal.
Sources closely involved with Kim say she was not given a heads up prior to this, and was told only to Skype in for a health update.
During that segment, she got the chop.
Kim is upset that producers didn’t use a video of her practice session to score her this week, a la Melissa Rycoft back in Season 15.
Melissa, who also danced with Tony, went on to win her season and become one of the most popular All-Stars to complete as well.
As for rumors that Kim’s stroke was caused by plastic surgery, or she faked it as Wendy Williams implied? Topics for another day.
What do you think? Did Kim get a raw deal?

Buffy"s Nicholas Brendon Responds To Walking Off Dr. Phil — See His Words About Being Molested As A Child & Being Blindsided On The Show!
Talk about a tough time.
Nicholas Brendon, former star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has had quite a few problems with drugs, alcohol, and arrests in the past.
This year alone, he’s been arrested 3 times and entered rehab twice this year, which is why he sought help from Dr. Phil and went on his show.
Related: Married To Medicine Star Ordered To Rehab After Allegedly Attacking Husband!
However, his appearance didn’t quite go as planned as he ended up walking off of the show which aired yesterday. The Buffy star was very unhappy with his treatment during the taping of the show and stormed off after Dr. Phil questioned him about his current sobriety.
Brendon was particularly unhappy with the way he claims Dr. Phil talked about his mother specifically speaking on how she didn’t put Brendon in therapy after he was sexually abused as a kid.
Since the show aired, the actor took to Facebook to explain his reasoning and give insight into his frustration. In a lengthy explanation he posted:
“Dr. Phil had some hard words for my mother, who I love dearly and who I have caused more heartache than I care to remember. When I was molested as a child, it was 1982. Therapy wasn’t talked about and accepted the way it is today… Going to therapy in 1982 would be similar to getting a divorce in 1950. It wasn’t done, and if it was, it wasn’t supported by those around you. There certainly were not the kind of resources that fortunately exist for abused children today.”
Nicholas went on to say:
“My mother regrets this deeply, and it hurt me that Dr. Phil took her to task for not forcing me into treatment at the time.”
As for Dr. Phil‘s response to the 44-year-old’s behavior, a rep for the show said shortly after the taping:
“There was no drama, he simply chose to leave and did so in a respectful manner. His family and associates remained and participated fully and productively. Dr. Phil has nothing but the highest respect for Nicholas and wishes him the best in his quest for physical/mental health and sobriety, and stands ready to assist him in any way possible.”
We don’t know if there was more to it, but we hope that Brendon has since cooled down and hopefully is finding the help he needs.
What do you think? Based on Nicholas’ response, did he have a right to get upset or was he acting too defensive?
