90 Day Fiance: Colt and Larissa Fight Leads to Domestic Battery Arrest
Over the weekend, 90 Day Fiance star Larissa Dos Santos Lima was arrested for domestic battery against her husband, Colt.
After Larissa"s panicked messages to fans, sent while locked in her bathroom, many expected that it would be Colt who was arrested.
Now that we"ve heard both sides of the story, we understand a little more of how this arrest went down, and what led to it.
Also, this is not Larissa"s first arrest in the last five months.
It sounds pretty toxic, folks.
And parts of this sound a little terrifying.
Beware that there are, obviously, some 90 Day Fiance spoilers here.
1. Colt and Larissa Had a Huge Fight
We have both sides of their argument
2. Larissa locked herself in a bathroom
She issued what looked like a frantic plea to her followers, saying that Colt had taken her phone and encouraging them to message him to reconnect her.
3. She also seemed afraid that he would call the police
When the police arrived, it was Larissa who was arrested, not Colt
4. it started with Larissa being upset
Apparently, Colt (probably to avoid spoiling 90 Day Fiance) asked her to not interact with him on social media, which she took personally, and went on an Instagram rant about how it was selfish and hurtful.
5. Colt came home with flowers
This apparently did not have the intended effect upon Larissa, which she says that Colt took poorly

Larissa showed her followers video of a mess that Colt allegedly made while angry. That is definitely not good.

Larissa Dos Santos Lima, who plays a major role on this season of 90 Day Fiance, was arrested for domestic battery in Las Vegas on Saturday, November 10.

Larissa stars opposite Colt Johnson on the controversial TLC series.
According to Clark County inmate records, she was originally being held on $ 3,000 bail following her arrest, although her court records have been updated to reflect a $ 2,000 reduction.
We can also confirm that she’s scheduled to have a 72-hour hearing on Tuesday morning.
While details are still coming in, Larissa changed her Instagram handle to @helpmeimwithoutphone shortly before the incident went down…
… and also shared a number of disturbing messages on Saturday.
“HELP ME …HE TURNED OFF HIDE MY PHONE HELP ME HE WANTS TO CALL THE POLICE HELP ME,” she wrote at one point, including her own phone number on her online biography.
In a series of since-deleted Instagram Story messages, meanwhile, Colt allegedly told his followers:
“Larissa was arrested this afternoon. She suffers from high anxiety and several depression. She over reacted to problems that do not exist.”
Very weird and sort of scary, right?
Colt went on to explain that he “proceeded to deactivate her phone to try to defuse the situation,” but that their disagreement “escalated and matters became worse” and added:
“She felt this action was a threat towards her and tried to reach out for help.
“Not long after her cry was posted, the police came and knocked down the front door. They drew their guns at me and handcuffed me.”
Larissa hails from Brazil and met Colt via social media.
The two met up in Mexico and Colt later proposed after just a few days together.
According to court records obtained by E! News, this is Larissa’s second arrest for domestic violence, although charges from earlier this year were dropped.
Revealing that he and Larissa are married, Colt continued over the weekend:
“The police interviewed us but not long after they decided to arrest Larissa. No one was hurt and I did not press charges against my wife.
“However it is policy in the state of Nevada that since we are in a domestic partnership, someone had to be arrested.”
We’ll have plenty more on this story as more news breaks.
For now, it may simply raise questions about a show based on two people who have just met and decided to get married, mostly so one of them can remain in the United States.
“The couples must marry before the visas expire in 90 days, or else the visitors have to immediately return to their countries,” reads the official TLC description.
Is this really something around which we ought to build an entire program?
Does it not increase the possibility that something such as this arrest can take place, as one person’s future is based on making a marriage work with, basically, a complete stranger?
Just sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Amanda Stanton Shares Her Side of Shocking Battery Arrest
As a certified member of Bachelor Nation, Amanda Stanton has been involved in her fair share of scandals.
She got engaged to Josh Murray, for example, only to end the romance in December 2016, a few months after Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 ended.
Amanda then dated Robby Hayes on Season 4 of this same show; only for him to allegedly cheat on her with another woman.
So Stanton has been a bit unlucky in love.
But Amanda was at the center of a very different kind of scandal early Monday morning…
… when she got ARRESTED for domestic battery.
According to various sources and outlets, Stanton and boyfriend Ben Jacobs were among the guests at a co-ed bachelorette party.
They were very drunk and hanging out in a Las Vegas hotel room when security responded to a noise complaint.
While Jacobs spoke to a guard, Stanton supposedly pushed her man, prompting a call to the police.
They took Stanton into custody, charged her and snapped the following snapshot:

What the heck happened?!?
We don’t have every last detail at the moment, but…
“Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department,” Stanton’s rep, Steve Honig, tells People Magazine.
The rep adds:
“Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance.”
Honig explains that the Bachelor in Paradise veteran (who also finished fourth on Season 20 of The Bachelor) had “a few drinks” prior to her arrest.
“When hotel security asked her and Bobby to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious,” he says, continuing;
“Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job.”
Jacobs even told the cops it “was not an ill-intended shove,” but “Amanda completely respects and understands” why they took the action that they took.
Stanton was released shortly after she was taken into custody and, we assume, will need to appear in court at some point for a hearing.
But we aren’t certain about that.
Jacobs and Stanton made several months after after the former slid into the latter’s direct messages.
Since then, Amanda has shared numerous photos of herself, her lover and her two kids.
They really do seem very happy together and they have no intention on breaking up after this incident.
“Amanda doesn’t know where it’s going to go yet because they’re still getting to know each other, but so far so good!” an insider told E! News recently.
At this point, as long as Stanton doesn’t go back to any detention centers in Nevada, she’ll probably be happy.

Chris Brown Arrested for Felony Battery (See His Mug Shot!)
Chris Brown put on a concert at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida on Thursday night.
The singer was then put in handcuffs.
Maybe not literally, but the violent artist was taken into custody by police as soon as he walked off the stage yesterday evening.
According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office., Brown was arrested on an outstanding out-of-county warrant from last year.
Per local station WPTV, the alleged woman beater was booked on a felony battery charge from the Hilllsborough County Sheriff’s Office, stemming from an incident last spring.
This incident centered on Brown reportedly punching a photographer during a paid club appearance when he was serving as the establishment’s DJ.
That does sound like something he would do, doesn’t it?
Brown was released last night on $ 2,000 bail and wasted little time commenting on the arrest like the jackass that he is.
“What’s NEW????? Show tomorrow!!!!,” he wrote, along with a heart emoji.

The R&B artist’s next tour date is actually scheduled for July 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
He’s been performing the road since early last month and has been keeping a fairly low profile for several weeks now, barely abusing a single woman during this time.
We last heard from him when Brown celebrated his daughter Royalty’s fourth birthday with baby mama Nia Guzman.
Over the years, of course, Brown has had a multitude of run-ins with the law, starting with physical assault charges from when he punched Rihanna in the face in 2009.
Repeatedly.
Brown was later charged with felony assault and making criminal threats for this pummeling; he was sentenced to five years of probation and community service.
In 2013, Brown’s probation was revoked after he was involved in an alleged hit-and-run in Los Angeles.
The charges were later dropped, but he was given 1,000 additional hours of community service.
Still, no jail time. Because he can sing and dance really well!
In 2016, Brown was arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon following a nine-hour standoff of sorts at his California mansion.
A beauty queen claimed the singer brandished a weapon at her inside his home during this incident — and Brown responded by referring to the police as “idiots” who were part of a “gang.”
He’s a real pearl of a human being.
In 2017, a judge granted ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran a restraining order against the singer for the next five years.
She said in court that Brown texted her violent threats and assaulted her.
“Make sure ya’ll don’t be listening to all this bullsh-t, man,” Brown said in response last year, adding:
“What all them other people on the outside doing, let them do what they doing. I don’t know what the f-ck they talking about.”
They’re talking about you being an awful person, Chris.
At least that’s what we hope everyone keeps talking about.
