Jessica Simpson & Eric Johnson Tongue Wrestle on Instagram

Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson are really keeping the magic alive. 

If you call tongue wrestling on Instagram “magic,” I guess.

The singer shared this kooky photo of her and her husband touching tongues as she clutches her own breast.

Now that’s a lot of tongue. Miley Cyrus would be proud.

Simpson captioned the photo simply with the words “DATE NIGHT” and a red lips emoji. 

Instagram fans were at war over this pic, with some thinking it was positively adorbs while others considered it inappropriate.

“Put your tongues away!” wrote one commenter. “Every pic people don’t need to c u tonguing each other. Get a room!!”

“Gross,” chimed in another.

However, others thought it was all in good fun.

“I love this pic. It says I can still have great fun with my husband,” wrote a fan.

Another took it very seriously and weighed in with some deep analysis:

“People have a variety of layers and I applaud Jessica for being willing to show her playful and fun side. I suspect that the people who are judging her are perhaps prudish (which is fine as well) and perhaps even a bit envious.

“If you are that easily offended, stay at home, turn off the television, and get off social media, because there are a lot bigger problems in the world than this fun pic.”

Simpson and the former NFL star are known for causing a stir on Instagram.

On Valentine’s Day, she posted a photo of herself in a bikini top posing with Johnson and let the world know he was “gettin’ it.”

But that’s not nearly as bad as that inexplicable photo of Johnson resting his head in the crotch of Simpson’s mom as she lie spread eagle on a lawn chair.
