Last week, Gary Shirley welcomed a baby girl with his new girlfriend, Kristina Anderson.
Sources say it was a joyous occasion, marred only slightly by Gary's admission that he doesn't want the kid and accusations that he can't even see his penis, much less use it to procreate.
Over the weekend, all talk of unwanted pregnancies and Shirley's access to full-length mirrors took a backseat to a heartwarming family moment when Gary's 6-year-old daughter Leah met newborn Emilee for the first time.
Yes, that's how Shirley chose to spell his daughter's name, and yes, Leah was accompanied by Gary's original baby mama, Amber Portwood, and her fiance Matt Baier.
"Amber and Matt were both happy to hold Emilee," says a source.
That fact is clearly evidenced by the above photo in which Amber looks as though someone handed her the baby moments after she filled her diaper.
The guy sitting next to Amber is not the seldom-seen Baier, who visited Shirley with Amber, but apparently was not photographed.
It could be that Baier refused, or it may be that Shirley made a point of not posting any photographs that featured Baier.
Of course, another possibility is that there's really no more drama between Amber and Gary, and they just fake hating each other for the sake of the Teen Mom cameras. We're leaning toward that third explanation.
