Here’s video of retired U.S. Olympic athlete Bryan Clay — who took gold in the decathlon in 2008 — helping his daughter Ellie remove a loose tooth … by tying it to a javelin!!!!  

The footage is crazy … Clay launches the javelin .. tooth goes flying out of Ellie’s mouth … then, blood. 

By the way, MEGA PROPS to Ellie — who’s so tough, she not only DIDN’T cry … but only asked for a glass of water to wash out her mouth!!!

Dave Chappelle -- QUIT BITCHIN ABOUT THE FIGHT ... It Wasn't That Bad!

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao wasn’t a rip-off … it wasn’t a let down … it was a PRETTY GOOD FIGHT … so says Dave Chappelle. 

Dave — who occasionally trains at Manny’s Wild Card Boxing Club gym — was out in L.A. Tuesday and told us something that virtually NO ONE has said about the fight … “I enjoyed it.”

So, why did the fight get so much hate from critics?! 

Dave says he thinks it’s because a lot of people who don’t usually watch boxing tuned in … and “they don’t understand that it was a pretty good fight.”

“Those guys are excellent.”

Student Apologizes for Gun-Toting Confederate Flag Prom Photo

There are embarrassing prom photos… and then there are REALLY embarrassing prom photos.

It's safe to say the following image falls into the latter category.

A bunch of students Chaparral High School in Parker, Colorado went viral this week after posing for their prom picture with alongside a giant Confederate flag.

Two girls are also holding guns, while several others use their fingers to mimic a weapon.

One of those featured at least recognized quickly that she may have made a mistake.

"It’s hard to say 'sorry' when that’s the only thing that can come out of my mouth right now,” the unnamed student told Fox 31 Denver, adding:

"I feel like there should be a better word for it."

According to an unnamed parent of one of the boys, meanwhile, a few moms and dads were encouraging the kids to snap the shot.

Said this parent to that same Foxx affiliate:

"I think in their immaturity [the kids] kind of think it is a cowboy thing, but to have parents feed into it and support it is really upsetting to me."

That's for sure. It's one thing for a bridge to collapse during your prom photo.

It's another to reference a symbol of white supremacy, slavery and the Ku Klux Klan.

'Ultimate Survival Alaska' Star Jimmy Gojdics Shot Dead in Alaska

Jimmy Gojdics, who competed on the National Geographic Channel show “Ultimate Survival Alaska,” was shot dead in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was 69.

Alaska State Troopers rushed to Gojidics’ home Sunday afternoon, according to Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.  When troopers arrived, they found Gojdics in grave condition.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Cops are calling it a homicide, but so far there are no suspects.

Gojdics competed on season 2 of the show,  finishing fourth.
