Both Barnes and Harden’s mother admitted getting into it during the Clippers vs. Rockets playoff game on Wednesday … though neither side has revealed what specific insults were hurled.
Now, the NBA says Barnes committed the cardinal sin of “directing inappropriate language at a fan” — and dinged him $ 50,000.
Neither Harden nor his mother have been punished by the league.

Fox has announced “The Simpsons” — which has run 26 seasons — is coming back for another 2, but they may have jumped the gun because we’ve learned one of the key players has not signed on.
Sources close to the production tell TMZ the holdout has not reached an agreement. The sources would not say which actor is holding out, but we’re told it’s a key person in the mix.
We’re also told the people who have signed on have all agreed to the same amount per episode and that is not an issue with the holdout. The sticking points in the past have had to do with back-end profits and merchandising.
We contacted Fox. The network had no comment.

The court ruling means Whitney’s sister-in-law and Bobby will now share responsibility for 22-year-old Bobbi Kristina’s medical care. Bobby filed a petition last month to become her legal guardian.
The court also appointed an attorney — Bedelia Hargrove — as conservator, and she will control all financial and legal matters for Bobbi Kristina … who is now breathing on her own. Whitney’s family points out she’s suffered “global and irreversible brain damage.”
We got video of Pat and Cissy Houston leaving the DeKalb Co. courthouse after Thursday’s hearing, and Pat told us, “It was a good day.”

Drake got absolutely NO LOVE from the Houston Texans cheerleading squad … and apparently won’t be getting any in the future either … ’cause the WHOLE TEAM said he’s completely undateable.
The cheer squad stopped by “H-Town Live” on 104.1 KRBE in Houston on Friday to talk music and pop culture … when the host put them through a fun rapid question and answer sesh.
But you have to watch the reaction when he asks if any of them would ever date Drake — a guy who spends A LOT of time in Houston.
It’s a mass rejection.
