The Bachelorette Premiere Preview: Someone is Going Home! But Who?!

ABC’s The Bachelorette season premiere synopsis confirms what The Bachelorette spoilers have said from the start about the May 18 opener:

For one of the two stars, it's going to be a very short run.

Fans of the series were shocked to learn that The Bachelor castoffs Britt Nilsson and Kaitlyn Bristowe would both appear on the new season.

The twist was revealed LIVE on the After the Final Rose special, with Britt delighted and Kaitlyn - expected to be the solo pick - taken aback.

“Well, it’s not ideal,” Bristowe admitted, addressing Nilsson.

“Nothing against you. Just not really what I pictured.”

She wasn't alone. Some observers were outraged, which is a little silly considering it's The Bachelorette we're talking about, but it is what it is.

At least at the onset. The season looks like it will be shaping up much like your standard Bachelorette campaign once the initial dust settles.

Who will keep the job? That comes down to the 25 men cast by ABC to seek short-lived fame and woo Britt Nilsson and/or Kaitlyn Bristowe.

The premiere will bring a prompt end to this journey for one of the two, as the winner of the guys' vote is revealed and one stays, one goes.

SPOILER ALERT: We're going to tell you who it is soon.

While Britt will be “the tower of confidence” during limo arrivals on night one of the new season, the official synopsis says Kaitlyn will be nervous.

Not only is Nilsson as outgoing as it gets to begin with, she's the one coming into this with nothing to lose. Kaitlyn, on the other hand, seems rattled.

Will fair Kaitlyn hit her stride in time to oust her sexy rival?

“Once the votes are counted, one of the lovely ladies will be going home,” confirms the synopsis, even as both make connections with the contestants.

While Britt “displays heartfelt sincerity to score points with the men,” Kait channels her inner comedian to “break the ice” with her sense of humor.

The men also have a lot at stake, obviously, and act like, it, resorting to lap dances, cupcake cars, hot tub cars, helium-filled balloons and more.

Oh, and lots of alcohol. Even more alcohol than usual.

One man will become so “disrespectful” that “other bachelors take him on” and Chris Harrison will be forced to intervene, which should be hilarious.

In the end ... one final Bachelorette spoilers alert ...

Kaitlyn prevails! But Britt may have found a nice consolation prize. One of the guys asked off the show after the vote so he could date Britt instead.

Or so we've heard. Tune in a week from Monday to see whether The Bachelorette spoilers above are proven correct or if we've all been played.

Lindsay Lohan -- No Sleep in Brooklyn ... I've Got a Non-Stop Community Service Plan

Z STAFF

EXCLUSIVE

0509-lindsay-lohan-tmz-04Lindsay Lohan has a master plan to complete her community service and dodge, once again, a possible jail sentence — the only problem is she’s gone off the radar, and time is NOT on her side.

Sources close to Lohan tell us she’s heading to the Brooklyn Community Center to log 6 hours a day, 7 days a week until her hearing on May 28. Sounds great, but — as usual — there are a few holes in this Lohan plan.

We did the math, and Linds would end up doing 114 hours. She needs 125 minus the hours she’s already done — 9 hours and 45 minutes … and even that is suspect. But assuming best case scenario — she’d be in the neighborhood.

However, she’s currently M.I.A. in London. The 114 hours presumes she started TODAY, but we’re told friends and family can’t get in touch with her — and all they know is … she is NOT at the Brooklyn Community Center.

We’re told Michael Lohan is already trying to set her up at rehab centers in NY to get additional hours, but that would still need approval from a judge.

Our sources say LiLo is hoping for leniency if she comes up just a few hours short by the deadline, but everyday she’s not logging hours … makes it less likely she’ll even be close to the required hours.

Tick, Tock.

Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson: It's (Truly) Over!

One of Hollywood’s best-looking couples is no more.

For real this time.

About a year after Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson first split, the young twosome has called it quits once again. Presumably for good this time.

A rep for the model confirmed the break-up via the following statement to E! News:

"Cody and Gigi want each other to be in a place right now that allows him to only focus on his music, fans, and new message, while she can focus and continue building her career.

"They love each other dearly and have split up in hopes that growing on their own paths will bring them together in the future."

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and the singer have been on a roller coaster ride of a romance for many months now.

But it appears as if the ride has now come to a halt. In amicable fashion.

Concluded Hadid's rep:

"They remain friends with no hard feelings and each other's biggest supporters."

Joanne Carson, Johnny Carson's Second Wife, Dies At Age 84

We’re sad to report the death of Johnny Carson‘s second wife Joanne Carson.

The former model and TV show host (née Joanne Copeland) had been in bad health and was receiving care in a hospice prior to her death on Friday at the age of 84.

Johnny and Joanne (pictured above at their wedding reception) were married in 1963, a year after the comedian began hosting duties for The Tonight Show, and their marriage lasted until 1972.

Though she may be best known as the iconic host’s second spouse, Joanne had a very interesting life herself!

As a Pan Am stewardess in the 1950s, she helped calm an anxious Howard Hughes during a flight. The media mogul later offered her a screen test at RKO Studios, where she worked for a time.

Ms. Carson later became a close friend to author Truman Capote, who died in her home in 1984.

At one point she was encouraged by Capote to write a memoir, but when she refused to provide dirt on some of Hollywood’s most famous stars, publishers lost interest in her stories.

She is survived by her two sisters Barbara Abernathy and Shirlee Alters.

May she rest in peace.
