The parents of Rachel Dolezal — the white woman who claimed to be black — say they blew the whistle on their daughter because they’re just plain old truth tellers.
Lawrence and Ruthanne Dolezal said on “Today” they spoke out publicly simply because they were asked by a reporter investigating their daughter.
They say they still haven’t spoken with her since the scandal broke. They hope “she comes to a place where she knows and speaks the truth.”
Watch the video … it’s interesting. Are the parents trying to help her or are they taking more shots at her?
Spoiler alert: If you haven’t watched Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 10 yet, know that it contains one of the most shocking moments in the history of the series (no mean feat) and it will be discussed in detail here.
Seriously, it's a doozy. Click that link and watch, if you haven't already.
Now, for the rest of us - we kinda feel like we should form a support group to help us cope with the stunning events of last night, but there's no time for that now. For now, all we can do is ask ourselves the big question of the day:
Could Jon Snow really be dead?
For once, we can't turn to George R.R. Martin's books for the answer, as Jon is left for dead at the end of the fifth and most recent book in GRRM's 7-part saga.
So we won't have any definitive answers regarding Jon's fate until Martin publishes his long (long) awaited sixth book, or until Game of Thrones Season 6 debuts in spring of 2016. (People are already making predictions about the premiere, because the Internet.)
But while the rest of us know nothing, one authority on Jon Snow is spilling the beans regarding the sad betrayal of the beloved Night's Watchman:
"I’ve been told I’m dead," actor Kit Harington said in a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly. "I’m dead. I’m not coming back next season. So that’s all I can tell you, really”
"Quite honestly, I have never been told the future of things in this show, but this is the one time I have. They sat me down and said, 'This is how it is.'”
He added that showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff took him on a "Tony Soprano walk" to break the news, which is apparently a tradition for actors whose characters are getting "whacked" on HBO shows.
So yeah - it sounds like at the very least we won't be seeing much of Kit or Jon in season 6.
But if you really think the character who's been set up to play a major role in the finale from day one is actually gone for good, well...you know nothing (about), Jon Snow.

Just six weeks after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, the Duchess of Cambridge is out, about and showing no signs of having been pregnant.
Charlotte was nowhere to be found, but here's the mother of two looking gorgeous and casual with her adorable little man, Prince George:
Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince Harry, Prince George all attended the Festival of Polo match at Beaufort Polo Club in Tetbury, England.
Also in attendance: Prince Charles, Zara Phillips, Mike Tindell, Mia Grace, Peter and Autumn Phillips, and their children Savannah and Isla.
William, 32, and his younger brother Harry, 30, both played in the polo match as their loving family members watched from the sidelines.
The Duches, 33, wore TopShop maternity Leigh jeans and a Me + Em striped navy top with Sebago "Bala" shoes as she played with George.
Like always, George stole the show, wearing a blue Olivier Baby cardigan that costs around $ 107, blue Crocs, and Mayoral navy shorts.
"George had a lot of fun," an onlooker says of the O.G. Royal Baby, who turns two in July. "He saw his cousins rolling around on a hill."
"He wanted to get involved too, so he raced over the slope and tried to roll. Kate was with him and they were lying in the grass together. So cute."
It was a busy weekend for the little guy; George also made his Buckingham Palace balcony debut in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 89th birthday.
That's a lot of activity! Good thing Kate and William are headed to the Hamptons for some rest and relaxation all summer long ... not.
Hilarious rumors of Long Island vacations and banning Camila from seeing the children aside, they make a cute family, these ones ...
