13 Shocking Game of Thrones Deaths: Where Does That Season 5 Twist Rank?

Every season of Game of Thrones is packed with jaw-dropping violence, and season 5 was no exception. 

Over the years we've seen beheadings, poisonings, death by infected boo-boo (RIP, Khal Drogo), a man getting shot by an arrow while being burned (pour one out for Mance Rayder), even the old "molten gold dumped over the head" trick.

But even with all those grisly shockers, no one (aside from the smug spoiler machines who read the books!) could have predicted the astonishing final moments of Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 10.

Is Jon Snow dead? If so, will he be raised by Melisandre, bro-down with the Night's King, and take revenge on the traitors who stabbed him?

We won't know for several months (Even the book-readers can't spoil this one!), but for now we're declaring Jon Snow DOA , just like the rest of these poor SOBs. 

Like his namesake element, Snow may be back next season, but for now, he's earned a spot on our list of Game of Thrones most memorable deaths:

 

 

1. Viserys Gets Crowned

Viserys was up there with King Joffrey in terms of douchebags we loved to hate. Even so, his death by molten gold is tough to watch.

2. The Death of King Joffrey

Joffrey’s death wasn’t particularly gory but it WAS unexpected. And it certainly wasn’t unwelcome.

3. The Red Wedding

Possibly the most shocking moment the series has offered up thus far. That GRRM certainly knows how to shock and appall.

4. Oberyn Martell vs. The Mountain

Surely, one of the most gruesome deaths in the history of television. We even feel bad for the witnesses.

5. Tyrion Gets His Revenge

Tywin and Shae learned a valuable lesson: Don’t mess with the Imp. Unfortunately, it’s too late for them to do anything with that knowledge.

6. Mande Rayder Swekered at His Own Barbecue!

Mance Rayder was spared a brutal death on Game of Thrones. He still died, of course…it just wasn’t quite as brutal.

26 Bisexual Celebs: Kristen Stewart Has Famous Company

A number of celebrities have revealed themselves to be bisexual over the years.

From a True Blood star to one of the most beautiful women of all-time to the actress who famously flashed David Letterman, it's a long and growing list.

Many of them are now with partners of the opposite sex, but all of them have admitted to at least experimenting in the past with their own gender.

Such is the case with Kristen Stewart dating Alicia Cargile, most recently.

How come? Offers Tatum O'Neal: "I think women are the most amazing creatures … they're gentle, and also more intelligent than the men that I've met."

That may be up for debate, but the openness of the following celebs is not…

1. Ke$ ha

Ke$ ha has talked about her bisexuality with Seventeen and Out. She says she is attracted to both genders.

2. Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga wrote “Poker Face” about her time as a bisexual. She talked about it with Barbara Walters in 2010.

3. Amber Rose

Wiz Khalifa and Kanye West’s ex has long been perceived to be openly bisexual, saying a few years ago that she is “extremely open with my sexuality. I can be in love with a woman, I can be in love with a man. I’m not into bestiality, but as far as humans go, I definitely find beauty in everybody … If I see a women and I think she’s beautiful and I like her, and she likes me back we can definitely try to be in a relationship together.”

4. Anna Paquin

“I’m proud to be a happily married bisexual mother,” Paquin Tweeted in March of 2014. There you have it.

5. Angelina Jolie

Angelina once dated Jenny Shimizu and has never been shy about her bisexuality.

6. Amber Heard

Amber Heard has been openly bisexual for quite some time, and discussed this aspect of her identity and the fact that she has been in long-term romantic relationships with women (and now Johnny Depp).
