Bethany Hamilton Welcomes First Child: See the Photo!

A hearty round of congratulations are in order for Bethany Hamilton.

The 25-year old professional surfer, who lost her left arm many years ago due to a shark attack, welcomed her first child into the world on June 1.

“Blessed to welcome our son, Tobias, into the world!” Hamilton wrote as a caption to this adorable image, which features her newborn and her husband of two years, Andy Dirks.

On Instagram, Hamilton added of her child:

“Born June 1st, 7.9 lbs. and 21” Long. He is named after his great grandpa Tobias meaning ‘the goodness of God.’

A shark attacked Bethany in October 2013 as she surfed in her native Hawaii.

She lost her left arm, along with 60 percent of her blood as a result of the incident.

She returned to surfing just three weeks later, however and wrote a book ("Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board") in 2004.

With the Rachel Dolezal scandal hitting its stride after Stewart and The Daily Show aired last week, last night was their first chance they really got their crack at it!

They hit on every note from the late night host ripping into the overall absurdity, to the ridiculous media coverage all the way to having a white senior black correspondent talk about how he’s envious of the “free street massages” — otherwise known as “stop and frisks.”

The Daily Show had HIGH-larious yet insightful commentary on the hot button issue even going as far as having one of their correspondents talk about the issue and state:

“She didn’t have to Iggy it…We don’t need oppression cosplay, we need allies, not replacements.”

Rosie Perez Talks Questioning Her Own Sexual Orientation As A Teen — Says 'I’m A Quasi-Straight Person'

Fierce!

On Monday, Rosie Perez spoke at TrevorLIVE New York, an event for the organization that supports LGBTQ youth — where she discussed her own “questioning” as a teen.

She shared:

“Every human being, whether they want to admit it or not, went through a period of questioning. I know I did.”

Whoa! The View host then elaborated that she felt sexual attraction for a fellow student, named Michelle, when she was just in junior high.

She continued:

“And I suppressed the urge and suppressed the urge and suppressed the urge until Michelle one day started humping on me.”

LOLz!! Talk about raging teenage hormones.

Perez is currently married to artist, Eric Haze. Nonetheless, the actress was vehement that it’s ok to go through a questioning period.

She relayed:

“I’m not the only one that went through this questioning period. I’m not the only one that suppressed those feelings. Who hid their story.

I know I’m not lesbian, gay or whatever, I’m a quasi-straight person, I still went through that period. And I thought I was all alone.”

Wow! You go girl!

But whatever happened to Michelle?!

The brunette beauty shared that when her relationship with her peer ended — so did their friendship. She then explained that this experience made her wish she had a community like the Trevor Project.

Aww!

She stated:

“I remember that hurt. And that hurt kept me silent and that silence brought shame. I didn’t have a community. I didn’t have The Trevor Project.”

But look at you now, Rosie! Activism looks good on you.

Perez’s revelation is following a slate of other A-Listers who, in the last few years, have publicly discussed their sexual orientation — including Miley Cyrus, Amber Heard, and Michelle Rodriguez.

The 50-year-old left the audience with a few reminders that being different is the norm and that you should just be yourself. And we agree!

The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 2 Recap: Take a Swing

On The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 2, Shannon and David Beador were pushed to new limits during their couples retreat.

What did that mean for their marriage, already hanging by a thread?

If you watch The Real Housewives of Orange County online, you know last week's premiere introduced us to a newcomer in Meghan King Edmonds.

You also know we caught up on the fab four returning ladies.

Last night on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 Episode 2, the focus was once again on some pretty heavy topics in the OC.

Shannon Beador spent the majority of the episode continuing to work on her marriage after revealing that David Beador had an affair in 2014.

The couple's marriage counselor made them write fake eulogies for one another, and reminded them that this is going to be a rough f--king ride.

We know Shannon Beador blames herself for his cheating. You may not agree with that, but they are clearly all-in as far as repairing things.

That doesn't mean there won't be bumps in the road. Often.

At Vicki's Mexican get-together, Meghan King Edmonds reminded Shannon of the time David hit on her at Heather's hoedown party. Awk.

Speaking of Meghan, she's now a full-time cast member and working on making friends in the OC. She and Heather seem to hit it off.

While pro athletes and plastic surgeons may not seem like they have a ton in common, Heather Dubrow sees their husbands as similar.

"They both work in the entertainment business!" she joked.

Vicki and Brooks Ayers seem to be doing well, though she and Tamra Barney are another story, as they hashed out in great detail Monday.

Tamra's interference in her relationship with Brooks continues to be an issue, though they reached a truce for at least the rest of this week.

Eddie Judge, Tamra's husband, feels that Brooks Ayers' cancer diagnosis may be exaggerated, so any detente is bound to be short-lived.

Former cast member Lizzie Rovsek came to Vicki's party, where she and Tamra revisited their epic argument last season about anal sex.

"I love this conversation," Meghan said, seemingly in awe.

Wait until she hangs around for an entire season.

Tamra also got into an argument with Brooks over whether or not he farts (he denies this) and laughed with Vicki over peeing on her bed.

Yup, over the next 15-20 episodes, there will surely be more Tamra Barney quotes like that than Meghan or we even know what to do with ...
